There has been a lot of turn over in the staff at The Sterling, but Karen in the office has been here since I moved in and has been AMAZING the entire time. Our move into The Sterling was filled with a lot of obstacles, and I was close to losing my mind several times, due to poor management (that manager is gone now). Through it all, even though Karen was not the boss she stepped up and made things happen and made things right!

I understand that theres Covid policys and procedures, but not attempting to contacting or not respond to potential new residents after they made an appointment just show how much you guys care about your job and residents.

Small, nice and clean community on a great location. Excellent management is a cherry on top. Only drawback is slow internet connection, which is why I rated 4 stars. I recently finalized the apartment but at the last minute I realized due to k slow internet, it will not workout for me. I walkout at the last moment, and knowing my situation Marissa​ Marquez tried to help me finding other options. She knew she will not get anything out of it, but she went beyond her role and helped me find another apartment. I was not expecting that level of support from them. Thank you Marissa, this act of your really leave a unforgettable remark of Mark Tyler’s management on me.

I love living at the sterling! I was put with all random roommates and turns out we love each other. The rooms are super secluded and private. Security always makes me feel safe and I love the indoor bike locks. Great place to live ! Also a lot of free food and opportunities.

The assistant manager is lacking professionalism.work orders are closed with no work done..

This place has fallen apart!We moved in two years ago and it was wonderful. Clean, quiet, reasonable, fast response times and great service from management. The last year a new company took over and it has rapidly spiraled out of control. In the last six months especially. Most parking spots are taken with out of commission and project vehicles. It is nearly impossible to get someone in the office to respond to any sort of request. Zero accommodation made for any reasonable request. The culmination for us was a refusal to make reasonable accommodations for a recent injury that left me handicapped. It is illegal and fraudulent, and yet any conversation with the current property management is ignored or responded to with vitriol. We’re moving out, forced to because we have to live somewhere that will accommodate my handicap.This has turned in to by far the worst apartment we have ever lived in.Update on 4/23/21I received a notification that the owner wanted to speak with me about my experience. When I called the number provided only a few minutes later and explained why I was calling, nobody seemed to understand what was happening. I was asked who called you? and are you looking for an apartment? along with Let me ask around and see who wanted you to call.So as much as the management has changed AGAIN, it would appear that the coordination and professionalism levels remain the same. I finally had to just get off the phone because the conversations were going nowhere, as nobody really seemed to understand what was happening other than we have to respond to every review in the last year (My review was left originally 18 months prior)I hope as the new management company settles in maybe they get a handle on how to operate. But for now little to nothing appears to have changed.

Great Community! I have been living here for about 4 years. I have never had a problem with the staff or apartment. It is a quiet community. It is well kept. The staff is awesome! I truly enjoy living here. There are schools and parks next door great for families with children. They are upgrading the amenities and I cant wait to see the result!

This place was amazing about 6 months ago. Since then it has drastically decreased. The parking is horrible. New tenants have moved in that have multiple vehicles and take up 6-7 spots or park in the emergency exits. Some tenants even have long term parking, with covers over their vehicles that haven’t moved in weeks. It’s very frustrating coming home from work to have to park outside the complex and walk to your unit, when there is someone who parks all their vehicles in the open spots and not even in their designated parking spot. There is a van and a mustang that have been parked on the south end of the complex that haven’t moved in over a month. This shouldn’t happen. Can’t wait to leave.

Absolute worst place to live, I have lived here for 2 years and management has switched 3 times. They have made it almost impossible to make a payment by taking the drop box away, why would you do that when you have people that work jobs during the business hours that they are open? They want you to use their online payment center which doesn’t work if you have roommates and are trying to make half a payment, they want the full thing...not to mention that if you use your debit card there is an extra $40 fee. Kids play in the street and always have their bikes laying in front of vehicles when there is a perfectly good spot for them to play. I would not reccomend this place, the only thing “luxury” about these are the price.

Drug dealers and roaches. If you are looking for a quiet place to raise your family, this isnt it. Theyll wow you with their model apartment a nice lobby, but once we moved in thats when the problems started. I told management about my issues but they were never addressed.Also, dont believe their 5 star reviews they have. They waive move-in fees in exchange for good reviews.

Came in the other day and took a tour and the apartments were very clean and nice! The staff was very kind and amazing. Would recommend people to take a tour, I’m sure you’ll love it.

Have you ever lived in a apartment and was proud and comfortable calling it HOME. This is the perfect place for it to happen. Since the new staff has taken over you just can’t complain, it’s just that kind of place. Check it out for yourself and see, you’ll thank me for it.Steve C.

Great community, very clean and quiet. I appreciate all the improvements being made around the community, such as the buildings getting painted and the new exterior lights. I cant wait to see what else is in the works.

This place is the worst! Do NOT move here! The website is fraudulent, literally. If you consider moving into a construction site while trying to sleep quiet, especially if you have children. 4 moths ago it was lovely, they tricked a bunch of families to move in for the year they decided to renovate and youll regret moving in now! ALSO, I just found out that a very expensive package was stolen, that was shipped from Australia!!!! Thanks guys!😩Theyll show you a nice apartment (under one with children running around ABOVE you) in a quiet section with trees, and youll get stuck in a nasty one overlooking cement, next to the loud school, or better yet, next to the gravel playground where cats and dogs leave their poop everywhere. They will move you in and a month later youre stuck with a construction zone because theyll remodel the apartments surrounding you...at 7 am going ALL day. Ive had men climb over my patio various times while with my female children, more than once...Also, chainsaws and leaf blowers and a lovely wood chipper EVERY morning. Good luck to you if you have a baby who needs sleep, or, if you need sleep, ever, you wont get it here. You can be nice and call to ask for help in any area, or email as they suggest at the end of our reviews, youll be straight up ignored. They truly dont care about you and good reviews are requested by them and are posted by employees. Were stuck here for a year and my whole family and neighbors that are dealing with it too are all dreading it😢 They should have been made to pay us to live here while they destroyed the quaint area we moved into. Instead youll pay almost 2k to live with ALL your neighbors, because you can also hear the people around you talking even. Im a chill person, Im writing this as a chill person, dont move here, seriously. Help me help you.

I have toured many apartments and I have to say this site set the expectation for the rest of the apartment complex’s. Everything was well maintained from the landscaping to the units themselves. I was genuinely impressed. The staff there was friendly, helpful, and attentive. If anyone is looking to move to the gilbert area I would strongly recommend looking into this complex.

Pool green. Bird poop all over pool area. Dog poop bins overflowing. Litter in common areas. 5 days and counting. Super disappointing and worried about hygiene issues.

Things are a bit different in regard to this new management. I’m not in favor with all the new changes especially since my lease is not up for renewal. But at least there is good communication.

Just checked it out on line, but the virtual tours options do not match the floor plan names...otherwise Id consider moving here.

The Apartments are very nice, and amenities are great, however we are stuck with CentryLink as the ISP with only 40 mbps down, which we dont actually get with constant ping spikes.

Great place renovated apts from condos renovated clubhouse, pool and ex rm. Free coffee in clubhouse on Sat,new tvs and rental party space and kitchen. there is lots of parking, and a garage for use nearby if needed -pet friendly, near Baseline and Guadaloupe and the 60 Freeway and McQueen. Mgmt is great here.

Not only was I asked to leave a five star review by management but they were very unhelpful whenever an issue arised. A very unsupportive staff that contradicted one another. I feel they did exactly what an apartment complex shouldn’t display while giving tours.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have been here for a yr now my lease is up November 19th. I have always paid my rent and kept to myself. For the past two weeks I have been nothing but harassed by this people. Hey I get it, you want to remodel but I have a right to be here until my lease is up!! First they entered my apartment two weeks ago WITHOUT my permission claiming there was a leak 🧐 strange! Than got on to me about having my dog saying it’s not in my lease to have dog. Crazy cuz when I got her I gave that girl with th dark hair all my paper work for her including her service papers/shot records. When I reminded her of that she gave me a dirty look than just said ok??? Than they moved thier office into the apartment right below mine. Got an email saying we are stomping and it’s to loud. Yeah ok my kids, my husband, and I jump out of bed and march all around!!! Give me a break 🙄. Went down their very upset explained to her that I had been packing and cleaning all day yesterday and I can’t control how I walk!!! I have two kids and a boxer! I pay to live here I’m not going to tip toe around because you set up there! She informed if it doesn’t stop she is sending me a notice ??? Ummm ok!!! We pay 1287 to live here and they just don’t care, this new management took over and has changed everything and they don’t care if it effect you or your family. FYI this unit I live in is over 20 yrs old, it makes noises just walking into the kitchen! The old management here was amazing, caring, and friendly. Miss them!
