I am extremely disappointed in the tour I just had with Shelby. So much so, I’m still in the parking lot typing this on my phone. I called to schedule a tour at 11:30am today 09.01.2021 with her, and then when I show up she could not seem less interested. The reason I say this is because she barley spoke to me. It was very obvious to me she just wanted to get the tour over with. She didn’t offer to show me around to any amenity spaces. She just handed me some papers and said “everything should be on there”. In addition, she didn’t show me around the model at all! She stood by the front door with it open. It made me feel extremely unwelcome, and made me hurry up because I felt like a bother. It was so sad to see her lack of care. 10/10 would not recommend. If I could give 0 stars I would. I would also recommend that Mark Taylor coach Shelby on customer service/ how to give a proper tour.

Sandi Stanton has harassed us mercilessly since we moved in. Almost immediately, we had three cars towed although they were legally parked. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and received instant abuse at the hands of the front office. The front office moved my utility service into their name solely so they could turn off my power as retribution for my actions. I had to pay reconnection fees to connect once again. Although this was months ago, I am still being harassed by Sandi Stanton.

Soo I have to admit... this is by far the best place I have ever lived. I mean if they turned this into a buy opportunity with Shelby and team still managing the grounds I would immediately buy it!The management team is awesome! I don’t know what others are talking about with bad service and not showing them around! I, for one, hate when management does that because it’s like to me they are being pushy and you don’t have time to truly check it out for yourself. Ya sure, they let you walk around by yourself but then they stare at you leaving you feel awkward. When I first toured the place, Shelbie and Stacy were nothing less than perfect!! Very up front with answers to my questions and even told me I don’t care if you rent here lol I love the non pushyness! So I toured the grounds looking at the models and amenities and fell in love! Then they are awesome with the maintenance and the team is super nice and attentive! Like seriously this is the place to live. Shelbie, Stacy, Lee, Melanie always answer my questions and I think of them now as friends! The maintenance team is extraordinary! Carlos, Thomas and Connor are the best! Super friendly and get to the jobs quick! Plus they even offered to help move some stuff when I moving in! I owes those guys a a couple of six packs! Lol and their work is quality!I honestly have no gripes about this place and the team here is seriously the best! I have now a certain expectation out of places to live because well these guys set the bar to the next level!!

Our move in experience was not the best, to put it nicely. We moved into a new condo (never lived in) 4/3.5 bath, that wasn’t really ready for move in. It appeared that maybe after construction turned it over, maintenance needed to be in here once more to fix some small things, get touch up paint done, ensure all the appliances were ready, and then have the cleaners in here still. Also day of move in our new home was over 90 degree because someone shut off the AC completely and we live in Arizona, it’s mid summer. Literally the tile floor was hot to walk on, it was so warm in the home. Took all night to get the home to cool down and that was rough with little ones.To top it off the home should have had internet already installed, they should be pre-set with Cox, and as a new resident you just find the media box, call or go online to enter in the modem info, start paying monthly and boom all set with internet. Yeah our home never had the internet installed, and when I first asked about it the office directed me to look harder for the media box and said that if I can’t find the modem to just drive to the nearest Cox and pick one up myself. So after calling Cox, I actually found out they never competed the install for the home because according to their notes the office staff never answered on the day of install, they couldn’t get ahold of anyone to open up the unit to do what they needed to, and then the staff never rescheduled. With that said Cox was super great tried their best to rectify the situation but unfortunately was not going to be able to get us internet for over two weeks. With our kids, an adult with disabilities in the home, and work from home, that wasn’t working well at all. We had to have internet setup with another provider. Now I can be understanding that mistakes happen, people are human, and in this industry there’s a lot of pieces to this puzzle, but what I say sucks/is not cool, is the response or lack of response, from the front office. They really only responded with a “thanks for letting us know”… not once did they apologize for our move in experience. Not once did they offer to do anything to make up for the mistakes. They didn’t show much concern for us going through this all with our family including an infant and adult with disabilities. They didn’t do anything to help with the internet issue. (Except Stacy, once I called in and asked “is there anything you guys can do, maybe call the Cox business team to speak with someone yourselves”, a few days later she got back via email and said, “sorry due to the holiday couldn’t get you an install any sooner”.)So with all that being said, I definitely will conclude with: they can do better with their customer service. Just work on how you respond to the ball being dropped.I will give kudos to Maintenance though. Conor is the supervisor here if I’m not mistaken. Super quick response time to all the requests that we’ve put in. Very empathetic and apologetic for the home not being 100%. Fixes everything with smile and good energy. His teammates too, same thing. So maintenance gets 5 stars! Connor keep doing your thing and leading your guys the right way!

I’ve been living at BB Living Val Vista for 4 months now. The level of customer service is exceptional. Whenever I call or text the front office, they are very responsive with requests or concerns. Stacy and Ed are very kind and are nice to my dogs. Today I was sweeping up the patio after that awful dust storm and a support staff named Connor shouted “Hello!” from across the street and asked if everything was going ok. I thanked him for asking and did actually need help with the loads of dirt on the patio. That nice man came back one hour later and blew all the dirt off my patio and furniture with a leaf blower! Being a single gal, it’s so nice to have that level of support. Kind deeds go a long way and I appreciate it!!

I was able to take a tour with a gentleman named Edsel. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The community was beautiful and quiet when we arrived. I can understand this, especially during this time, but did not seem to stop them from interacting with the residents that were around. The fact that he knew residents by name shows they care a lot more then other places I have visited or lived at. I am usually referred to by my apartment number. The homes were amazing, and the garages were perfect sized for our cars. It was sad to see they did not have the available time frame we needed at the time, since everything has been rented. I guess that is not a bad problem to have on their side. Hopefully in the future when we plan to move again something will be available.

Absolutely NO more than 2 cars per lease, not even extra parking around the area. Doesn’t make sense for 4 bedroom apartments.

If I could give a negative star I would. Honestly, very disappointed with how this community has developed. I am very displeased with the quality of the homes. Ever since we have moved in there has been an issue and quite frankly it takes a month to two months to get it resolved. When the storm hit on 8/20/2020 my roof literally started leaking to my master bedroom. Which to say the least is terrifying when you want to sleep peacefully but have no idea when your roof might come caving in. On top of that 2 months after moving in on January 1st there was a leak from the upstairs guest bathroom to the downstairs guest bathroom for a plumbing issue that wasn’t resolved the first time maintenance came out. On top of that it happened a second time and took a Month to get someone out to fix it and the downstairs bathroom that was just repaired 2 weeks ago and left unpainted And is still unpainted to this day. I’ve reached out 3 times now and no answer....Oh to top that off I am More disappointed that this community has done absolutely nothing for economic relief during this pandemic..oh wait they did a day after rent was due. Not to mention I never speak to the same person in the office I swear there is a different property manager or manger in there every week that is not okay because I never know who is going to resolve my issues or help me. Overly disappointed and would love out of here ASAP. Would not recommend to any family or friends. Disappointed is an understatement.

We have lived here since April 2020. The staff has changed twice since we have lived here. The walls are super thin so you will hear your neighbors talk, pee and do other explicit things *wink wink*. Our neighbor lets their dogs bark all night. The construction team did a rushed/terrible job putting these homes together because I cant tell you how many times Me, my daughter and wife have cut our feet on the nails that stick out on the stairs and the uneven tiles in the homes(see pics). There are also crickets and roaches. Some neighbors have even told me there are mice in the walls because the buildings are not up to code. All of this for $2,000 a month. There will always be problems with the internet because of the metal sheets in the walls of the home. Sidewalks are also uneven so you are also bound to trip and hurt yourself outside too.Mark Taylor also has been doing a poor job supporting residents during this pandemic.

Where to begin . The dog park has no lights , it’s pitch dark at night . There are 2 street lights that have never been on right outside of the complex . Not safe . There is no water for the dogs , the water fountain is off . The dog parks are all flooded most of the time . The gym has NO wipes for equipment during Covid . They have been out for months . The entire complex is very dark with little lighting . They don’t have enough parking for you to have ANY guests visit or the people who have a 3rd driver in your house . It’s definitely not up to Mark Taylor standards.

This is by far the best option when it comes to a rental. You can get 2,200 square foot townhouse for the same price as a 1,600 square foot apartment. The staff is also very helpful and amazing. Looking forward to calling this home for the next year.

This is long but worth the read if you’re thinking of applying here. Hopefully by the time you’re reading this, things have improved. My husband and I looked into the property the first week of June where we met with Amber. She was great and answered all of our many questions and responded to emails quickly. At this point, we had filled out applications and paid to be on a waitlist for our desired layout option.Come July, I hadn’t heard from her in almost two weeks so we went back to the office where we were greeted by Edsel who explained the complex was under a whole new management team and to contact him with questions. He was unable to answer our inquiry of available units at that time. Amber stated units for our move in time frame would be available for selection at this time; however Edsel said he didn’t know. It’s confusing for us, how she knew and he didn’t.It also seems strange they claim to have no idea about construction times when planning out a complex. I’m sure they have an idea which units are going to be ready at x date and have an idea when they’d know a more definite date but instead, I was told to call them weekly for updates even though we paid to be on the waitlist.Because Edsel failed to provide us with any direct contact information when we met with him in person, we emailed for a few weeks to the generic email and after a several emails of having to explain ourselves over and over, it led to frustration as we were being told to complete applications, apply and pay the wait list fees, etc over and over when had already done so in early June.We were getting the run around for weeks. I expressed my frustration stating we were about to leave the process and I immediately got a phone call from Edsel where he tried to smooth things over, but to little avail. We were told our desired unit layout was not available but we could place a hold for another unit layout. If our desired unit layout became available, we could switch. Instead of being on top of this, like I would expect after paying $75 for a waitlist, we were told we’d have to call (which I was also told by Edsel is very hard to get through via phone) every so often to see what’s available. When I would reach out, I kept getting told, “We don’t know and can’t give you any time estimates of when to call again.” I hope whoever reads this can see how this is frustrating. We wondered if our desired layout was available but the ball was dropped due to their disorganization as stated above, it was almost a month of getting the run around. After we got through part of the approval process and they kept asking for more and more pay stubs. We provided pay stubs from early June-mid August; 2.5 months worth. There was more miscommunication because my husband received weekly paychecks so we were told after submitting twice already, they needed a new send in of the correct time period. Even though they had enough pay stubs to cover the 1.5 months of proof they needed. We asked again about our desired unit layout and was told other applicants have filled the spots. Even though we started this process at the beginning of June and paid to be on a waitlist...We decided later that night to not rent here because it should not be this difficult! We’ve been trying to sign a lease for just about 3 months! And being told we missed opportunities for our desired layout that we’ve been waiting to hear about since June was the final straw. When we emailed Edsel his response was, “I understand”, referred us to another community and there was no attempt to rectify anything. It makes us feel like they did drop the ball with our application and desired layout. It appears the new management team does not have it together and there is so much chaos, confusion and miscommunication happening. We felt brushed off every time we spoke with the new team. It looks like this place had great reviews under Amber, so hopefully they can get it together.
