I moved in right after the new management company took over. There were some hurdles the new staff had but they seemed to get things done. There has been a lot of new faces in the office but theres one girl, Lynn, that has been there a long time. Shes always been so nice to me and my family. We unfortunately were affected by the pandemic and she would reach out to check on us and encouraged us to try to get rental assistance. I didnt even know such a thing existed! Because of her, I was able to keep a roof over our heads. I read all these reviews of how bad things supposedly are here. I havent encountered anything like what people say. The office team, Lizabeth, Pamela, and Amy are really nice and take care of everyone even if someone is yelling at them for something that isnt even in their control. I love it here!

I recently toured this community with some friends of mine who are relocating from out of state. I was very pleased with all of the detailed information we received and the apartment was beautiful. The pool area is very impressive. We were able to see the gym which had plenty of equipment and clubhouse. They also have several outdoor fireplaces that people were enjoying. We met some nice people who live there on the tour who had wonderful things to say about the community. The Manager stopped us on our way out to ensure we were taken care of and our questions were answered. She was very professional and kind. Great experience!

Pamela was truly an angel and answered any and all questions I had regarding every aspect of the complex. We unfortunately did not put an application in ONLY because it was a bit out of our price range. But hopefully we will be able to get a unit once our current lease is up in Jan 2022! For what we pay, it really honestly isn’t worth the money. Living here at Redstone has really been a headache. I only wish someone shared these things with me before I made the decision to move here. Sorry, but food trucks and corny resident functions do not make up for this propertys shortcomings.Hidden fees. Whatever the advertised rental rate is, let’s pretend its 1225 then add 150 right on top of that. The base rental rate doesn’t include mandatory renter’s insurance, a “fee” to use the garage thats already assigned to your apartment, valet trash, pet fee, taxes, breathing fee, heart rate fee….Population. A lot of people live here, and when I say a lot, I mean as many people as they can accommodate into the overbuilt units that were all crammed into a very small amount of space and still be to code. The community is overpopulated with residents.Parking. A nightmare and my biggest grievance with this property. Most units are assigned a garage space but up to half of the residents do not use their garages for their cars. Guess what this means? A nightly race for highly coveted guest and uncovered spots begins. My friends have said they don’t like coming to visit because there’s usually nowhere to park. There’s really seriously nowhere to park here at night. On top of that, the garage areas are so tight and narrow. At some point during your stay here, somebody will be blocking your garage whether they’re unloading their cars, picking something up or dropping something off, moving in or moving out or just stargazing, some inconsiderate resident will be blocking your garage. This will always happen when you have somewhere to be.Front Gate. Breaks at least twice a month. Don’t assume a gated community means security from vagabonds. Anyone can essentially get in here if they want. Cars frequently wait at the gate and ram behind me as I’m leaving in the opposite gate that’s open. Tacky. Who does that? The pool. Oh the pool. Where do I start? Going back to the overpopulation of the community, It’s noisy and overcrowded on the weekends. Residents are only allowed two guests when using the pool but a lot of them go way over this capacity and have half their family tree here at times. Residents also allow their children under the age of 14 come to the pool during the day, misbehave and run amuck and make enjoyment of the pool for the adults challenging. A lot of people light their cigarettes at the pool in spite of this being a violation of policy. The pool technically closes at midnight but this is violated on a weekly basis by residents who hop the fence or leave the gate ajar for their friends. The rent a cop is supposed to come and take care of the problem but seldom does. I question if a lot of these night visitors even live here at the community which brings me to...Security. There is a rent a cop who can be called after hours but he often shows up way too late to directly address issues. He has come as late as two hours after a call has been made seemingly having other important things going on. Because of the vast amount of people who live here, a dedicated nightly rent a cop is absolutely needed.Policies and procedures. They all look good on paper but they are not enforced. The corporate policy in management seems to be a very non-confrontational, live and let live style which is cute and makes everyone happy but it doesn’t get anything done and creates repeat policy violators.Vistara at Santan. For reasons that will never make sense to me, there is an identical community next door with extremely similar street numbers. GPS has taken my guests there, my packages and meals have gotten lost there, and people have come to my door thinking they’re at Vistara. This is bizarre and creepy.Maintenance. I foolishly assumed that when my A/C went out after hours that Id be aided by emergency maintenance. I wasnt. It was in the sweltering month of July. They did nothing for me. I got to sweat it out until morning.

My son is moving back to Arizona from Las Vegas in the next month or so. We had been looking at different complexes for two days out of the three that he is in town. We didnt know that you needed an appointment to see an apartment. Most places turned us away because we didnt have one (they wouldnt even talk to us!) or we had to make one for the following day in order to see something. We stopped in to Redstone and saw we needed an appointment, too. We were expecting a rude welcome and attitude because of it, but Lynn surprised us. She was so nice and accommodated us even though we didnt have an appointment. She took the time to explain everything to my son and I was so grateful. She actually took us to an apartment and we were so impressed. My son really liked it. Of course, I cant make the decision for him but he did say this was one of his top places. Other places need to learn how to treat people. I even told my other son to go visit Redstone when he moves to Arizona next year.

At first glance, this may seem like a nice place to live but it does have a few warts. Here are a list of things to consider:1. The rental prices favor new renters, offering better rents to new vs. existing tenants.2. There are many hidden charges that increase the cost of living here: separate garbage fee for the property dumpsters; valet garbage collection fees; building fees; garage fees; pest control fees(many other apartments in the area have these items included in the base rent, which overall is less expensive than the total of these items)3. More attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the hallways and the grounds. After all, this should be about customer experience, where good value is received for the price we pay, and we tenants should feel valued.

Horrible experience! I viewed the same third story apartment two different times. I did so alone because of Covid, no property manager. They really didnt seem interested in giving me specifics other than the rent cost, deposits, etc. They barely cracked the door, gave me the keys. I asked for a flyer of the floorplan of the rentable unit when I dropped the keys back off and got my ID. They gave me one that matched to the unit I viewed. I was quite clear I needed a first floor unit, but none were able to view due to the models being remodeled. Not ever a mention that anything with the apartment or floor plan would be different on the first floor. It was directly under the unit I viewed, just two floors down.My recent roommate is a really LARGE man. He drove 20+ hours in a Uhaul, from Idaho, day of move in. He hired/paid for movers to meet us there when we got the keys. I took pictures and videos of the unit I saw twice, which I sent to him prior. My roommate requested that he just have a good sized bedroom (Master), his own bathroom and a walk in closet, so we thought the apt was perfect. It was very nice.We really loved the layout of the unit I viewed, master bedroom had a walk in closet, attached bathroom. The appliances were newer with a modern flat top stove. I spoke to them at least 5x prior to moving and I was told my unit was not able to be viewed until move in day due to their cleaners schedule.Fast forward to day of move in. My new roommate who just drove for 20+ hours, gets the keys and calls me from the apartment while I was loading my car. The unit was NOTHING like the one we saw or I viewed and took video of. Completely different layout. The master was the smallest master bedroom Ive seen. It had a long skinny walkway, no walk in closet, a strange entrance to the bathroom that was smaller. Only mirrored sliding closet doors that left the room with minimal options for furniture placement when you had a queen sized bed. We would never had rented THAT apartment for $1900 a month. Not just a different layout, but they gave us a handicapped unit made for those in wheelchairs. All of the bathroom and kitchen counters were very low. The stove was old and burnt up with turn knobs and regular old burners, which one was even missing. It was obviously they didnt do a walk through after the last tenants left, nor had it cleaned.. The house was filthy. It had a rancid smell to it. Dust and dirty floors. Clogged up bathtub so bad it wouldnt drain at all. The dishwasher was missing the silverware holder and never worked right cleaning the dishes. There was this weird low cubby, a hole, in the lower cabinetry, they put the microwave in, instead of hanging it above the stove like the one I saw originally. It was about 2 feet off the ground. The refrigerator was a mini, low fridge that barely could store anything. The fridge side doors for the condiments both broke off within days. My roommate is 64. It was even short for me and Im 54. The main AC didnt work right upon move in and it took them days to get someone out so the apartment was perpetually at 82 degrees. The grounds are full of dog feces. There is constantly trash bags in front of peoples doors which drip and stain. There is no grass whatsoever. Not a place for pets. No one picks up after their pets so theres poop everywhere on the rockery. The parking lot is a concrete jungle. Its packed full of cars and there are rarely spots available after 5pm. Like none. Although the pool is the biggest and most beautiful Ive seen in an apt bldg. That is really the only good thing I liked. They realized they messed up in not communicating, and offered the third floor unit we couldnt take, or to wait to move until a unit was available that wasnt handicapped. By that time we had the movers there, nowhere to go and so we had to just bite the bullet and take the unit we hated. I am still upset about my bad experience. No rent rebate for our trouble. NOTHING.

I moved out 3 years ago on good terms when mark Taylor managed I loved it. 3 years though after moving out and they email me trying to say I owe money but I have a move out document fully stating it’s paid in full. What a joke the new management must be some scammers.

I have lived here for 8 months of a 10 month lease. I will not be renewing my lease. I find it extremely noisy here. I live on the second floor. My neighbor upstairs sounds like a giant walking through his apartment. Also he has a very loud sports car with his garage under my apartment. Its not only the noise of his car it is also the vibration. Not sure where he goes in the middle of the night. I informed the leasing office, but nothing has changed. Also people bang their doors shut upon entering/exiting their apartments. Its an expensive place to call home but thankfully not for much longer. If you choose to live here, dont live by the pool. You will regret it with people screaming at all hours.

My husband and I have lived here almost two years and we deeply wish someone would have warned us about this place before we moved in. Our first year was great. The property manager at the time, Tara, was amazing and so friendly. As soon as we signed our lease for another year, we immediately regretted it. Management & staff almost completely changed (aside from maintenance) and it was a major downgrade. No more friendly staff (other than maintenance--theyve always been the best) and so many problems around the property. Management or staff is impossible to get a hold of unless you physically go into the Leasing Office.A few specific issues we have had:1. Thin walls. We had a second-floor apartment and frequently could hear conversations our upstairs neighbors were having as well as our downstairs neighbor. At one point our downstairs neighbor sounded sick, coughing and sneezing throughout the night.2. Old windows with poor insulation. Our windows are west-facing and during the summer we have had to run our A/C nonstop ($200-a-month SPR bill) to keep it below 75 in our apartment. The front door was letting in a lot of excess heat too so we fixed that (out of our own pocket) with some extra weather stripping. The windows we were not able to use the weather stripping on so a lot of heat & sound still comes in.3. Mandatory $29 per month valet trash service. The concept sounded great but the amount of times that our trash was not picked up was ridiculous.4. Pool locked at random times. I swim a lot and multiple times I have walked down to the pool only to find that all the gates are locked, and its always been during what management states are the Pool Hours.5. Hot tub that isnt hot. After our first year here we stopped even trying to go to the hot tub because every time we would go it would either be like lukewarm bath water or have tape around it blocking it off.6. Problems with grills. My husband and I like to grill at least once a week and we honestly stopped keeping track of the times they were broken or out of propane once the number was over 20. And yes, there are multiple grills on the property and often times we would have to carry our food across the property to try and find one that was working. We had friends over for a Mothers Day BBQ out by the pool. ALL THREE GRILLS at the pool were out of service. This may be acceptable if there had been communication or an email heads up stating that the pool grills were out of service (other than the out of order piece of paper that was taped to one the grills). I dont remember the date but we invited some friends out for some pool & BBQ a month later and, yet again, all three grills were not working or out of propane. Both times we tracked down a member of the staff to tell them our issue and were given very short answers including I think they sent out an email which we never got.7. Questionable residents. Multiple times we have heard yelling or screaming coming from inside the property. One instance of the yelling I knew were residents, the other instances we are not sure because we did not get close.8. Stairs only. I guess having no elevator is great if you want the extra exercise but is a pain if youre on the second or third floor and need to carry anything up or down. We also made the mistake of not walking around where our apartment would be to see how far away the nearest stairs are.9. Confusing layout. I dont think in our time living here we ever had anyone be able to find our apartment without having to call us to get directions. Delivery-persons or friends. In closing, I guess if after reading this you still want to move here, go for it! I hope its wonderful to you! Just know, youve been warned.Edit: I literally laughed out loud when I saw the response from Redstone to some of the other less-than-ideal reviews stating, ...we can absolutely assure you that our residents comfort is our top priority. ....we are still waiting to feel like anything but their last priority.

My husband and I recently relocated to Arizona from Minnesota. We love the San Tan area and decided to find a place in that area until our home is finished. My husband and I narrowed our search down to Redstone, Pillar and Vistara. We very much enjoyed our tour of the property and the staff was so professional and welcoming. What a great community. I would highly recommend.

Apartment is beautiful! Very nice interior, well put together. Staff is very nice and friendly.Moved in the beginning of July. Only thing I’ve ran into issues wise is the good lump some of spiders that have been in the garage. (Anyone who fears spiders gets this) And the mud wasp nests that were on my patio at move in. But you can’t control bugs exactly. 🤷🏻‍♀️Overall I love this place and extremely happy I chose to move in here it’s easy access to the highway and super well kept exterior wise.

When it comes to Redstone what isn’t there to like? The property offers so much to it’s residents I can almost say in a way they spoil them.I’ve never lived in an apartment, ever. So for me to choose to live at Redstone says a lot. So for anyone looking to move there I’ve listed a few “Pros and Cons” below that I think might be able to answer any questions and help any future residents out that are looking into moving into this property.Pros:Staff: Very friendly, personable and professional. They get the job done while maintaining a personal relationship with each resident.Property maintenance/upkeep: Service and repair requests are answered quickly typically in a day. The property itself is kept beautiful as well by professional landscaper. Dog stations are also conveniently located for you.Amenities: All updated appliances some even stainless steel, Beautiful marble countertops and space saving stackable washer and dryer to maximize your space at the apartment. My personal favorite part of Redstone is the fact that every resident has their own private parking spot that you can be guaranteed to have when you get home, it’s fantastic. The apartments themselves are quite cozy and well insulated so most of the time you don’t even know you have someone next to you.Property features: A+ from me here. The property offers everything from a pool to an entertaining area and even the gym. Did I mention FOOD TRUCKS? Anywhere from 1 to 3 times a month you can expect the food truck to be on property. there are plenty of grills around the property as well for your convenience but who needs grills when you have food trucks? Don’t like trash? Stick it in the hallway and it magically disappears overnight.Cons:The trash company does not pick up on Fridays. (I guess everyone needs a day off)Pool isn’t open at 1am when I want to take a dip sometime. (I guess that’s probably for my own safety though)I’m really struggling to get this part of the list going because the property doesn’t really have any. Conclusion:While reviews are always helpful everyone has their own needs and expectations. While it may be easy to write a negative review about a location or business based on one experience (mostly poor personal choices as I read some reviews) it’s always best to go and get an idea of the place for yourself, so my advice? Go take a tour, the office is usually open until 6 and I promise this place will itself

Luxury living ? The barbecues have not worked at the pool for 2 weeks , the printer in the clubhouse has not worked for a month. There is no security at the pool area at night. There are many people nightly till way past midnight , I guess thats why they drain the hot tub 3 times a week. This never happened when Mark Taylor had this property. Top dollar for not luxury living. Very disappointed renter.

I’ve lived here for 3 years , I had given the apt complex a great review when I first moved in and they were owned by Mark Taylor . Now this apt community is a joke ;hallways are always dirty! People are in the pool after hours drinking alllll the time , grills are always broken takes them months to get fixed, lighting by the grill area is always off or light bulbs just don’t get replaced but if you want to grill past 7 your having to use your phone for lighting . Also the printer in the club house is always out of paper or just not working it’s been at least 4 months now that the printer has been broken so your having to go in the office for them to print out whatever you need printed. Also the WiFi works whenever the hell it wants .

UPDATE: Upon moving out of the apartment, I was charged for carpet cleaning and a pet enzyme treatment neither of which were on the move out checklist we asked the apartment to print out to avoid this issue. On top of that, I paid the non-refundable security deposit with Mark-Taylor when I leased, when the apartment was sold the new company bought all the contracts, but that didnt apply to the security deposit, so now I wasted $350. One particular member of the leasing staff, has been a complete nightmare to deal with. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPLEX.Our apartment and the complex is nice, but I am not a fan of the company that bought Redstone. They use all of their events to cover up the fact that our security gates leading up to our apartment building and on one side of the clubhouse has been broken for months. There are no parking spots if you come home late at night and now we cant park on the street between the complex and the hotel which we have been doing for over a year. Maintenance patched our wall and it looks worse then it did with the damage. When we were given an option to renew our lease, the lease was raised an insane amount from what we were paying. The excuse they gave us is that established complexes dont use specials, but the Mark Taylor apartments right down the road have been around far longer than Redstone and still offer moving incentives.

Absolutely love this community and the team of people in the office who create a welcoming, engaging and helpful environment with every interaction. Shopping for an apartment home for my growing family (my husband and I are expecting 👶🏼) was SO stressful until the day I walked into Redstone.Ari Huff, our leasing agent, is beyond amazing and honestly so has every other member of the team that I have interacted with. I walked through PLENTY of beautiful apartment homes in Gilbert and having a beautiful complex is one thing but having people who truly care and treat you like family is another!Although these apartment homes don’t stop there... they rival any brand new location you can visit in Gilbert with it’s beauty, ammenities and competitive pricing. From garage options to stainless steel appliances to a killer workout facility and beautiful pool with all the games you can want this place has it all.We love it and are so grateful we get to call this place home ❤️

Ive lived at Redstone for the past three years and its been great! Im writing to shine light on the property and staff, some other reviews seem pretty bogus. Everyone working in the leasing office is always courteous and helpful. Maintenance requests are always taken care of the same day. The property is cleaned daily, I see a crew every morning picking up any litter and emptying trash cans. The landscaping is always pristine. Its very rare to hear your neighbors, those below say they cant even hear my child running.

Beautiful property. The office staff was always very nice and helpful. The pool area is gorgeous. My car was vandalized and unfortunately there were no cameras in the parking lots. No one seemed to care in the office which I understand as criminal damage can happen anywhere. We lived on the 3rd floor and we had a scorpion problem in the summer months which they recommended I utilize the bug spray service that comes on Wednesdays. Other than the scorpions issue we would have renewed our lease. Being out of towners was hard to deal with the bugs.
