UPDATE !! I HAD ANOTHER VISIT AND BROUGHT MY GOLD TO SELL as the sign painted on back door states in big letters....we buy gold.... well i guess i was the first to know57 7 was met with as far as the selection goes its just a place a watch lover would want to never leave !i could stay a good 3 days and nights straight and never try them all on. every dream watch you could travel in time to visit and see in person is there somewhere. its easy to forget your favorite youll start to develope a love for many brands for their designs of one or more watches in paticular. / ...9.9 for the store itself and its collection!However the guy who runs it day to day is slmeone i cant read very well. i think he beleives he actually is the inventor or idealist who brought the world time keeping devices. Hes somewhat friendly and half the time he is fairly sociable but off and on he makes dry sarcastic remarks as if their is a cool guy club of battery changers listening and laughing at comments hes sure go unnoticed by customers and never breaking character or cracking a smile. so you kinda just ignore it as to just not rock the boat. hes no fun to haggle with either because again hes got an arrogance about him and doesnt really barter. If you dont like his proposal on your item he wont let you counter and simply just say ive got too many watches. and he will just walk away and go back to what he was doing without another word. as if hes insulted by uour presence . Hes got potential to be a great guy but its just annoying to either bend his way or lose his acceptance of you in his castle of watches....its all good though. men are men and were all weird territorial and cocky sometimes. i just wish i could find someone fun and excited that i could have a interesting conversation with and do some trade or selling with. honestly though go there anfd look thru the cases and cases. its a museum and its worth the trip.thanks for reandin and heres a few pics of watches ive either bought or traded at timekeepers.

Great, rapid service. Batteries replaced on 2 watches while I waited — less than 5 min. Previously, I replaced one battery at a fine jewelry store for $70. Timekeepers charged a small fraction of that for 2 watches. Great value.

I purchased my first quality mechanical watch from Timekeepers while I was visiting the area on holiday vacation. The store itself is very fun to visit just to look at the amazing assortment of different time keepers. They have everything! While I was just looking around, I found a vintage Omega that caught my eye. Id been considering a vintage Omega for some time and I decided Id rather buy from this place than from an unknown seller on eBay. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Without any haggling on my part, I got my watch at a nice discount due to the holiday sale. I was able to buy with confidence that the watch would be working well as it carries a warranty, and if anything goes wrong I can ship it to them for expert repairs as they have are Omega authorized. This was my first expensive watch (for me that is) so having this confidence really helped me feel good about my purchase.

I had a small wall clock repaired here. It was a gift from my in-laws, so I wanted to make sure it was done correctly. A battery had corroded the movement and the chime didnt work. I had the movement and chime replaced. They were able to give the clock a combination of the two with a single battery. This was much better than the original works. I was pleased and felt the technician was competent and very nice. He took time to clearly explain everything to me. I would go there again.

Great service. The staff at timekeepers are all very friendly and courteous. I have been there several times now and have had a good experience each time. I have had a vintage Zodiac watch repaired and my mother has taken in a clock. There is also a large selection of new and used timepieces and clocks to browse. Nice place beautiful pocket watches but quite expensive

I’m thought I had found someone that had great reviews to change nine watch batteries. Everything says OPEN at 9:00!!!! If you’re opening at 9:00, why advertise?? I drove from Rancho Bernardo, Parked on Grand at 9:30 gates bolted, doors locked! Drove around back, rang doorbell saw gates bolted shut! No signs of notifications that hours had changed or there was an emergency!! So disappointed!!

Old school and professional. They know what they are doing. Not fancy but honest and trustworthy. My dad’s 1972 Breitling Navitimer runs like brand new again. An iconic place, must be known and appreciated by more people.

As a novice watch collector and enthusiast, I wasnt sure where I should take my 19 year old Chopard to be cleaned and timed. I asked my more knowledgeable friends and they all said Timekeepers in Escondido. I love this place! I could get lost in the cases just looking at all his inventory of grandfather clocks, anniversary clocks and collectible watches. We discussed my watch and what was needed and I picked it up a couple of weeks later in absolutely perfect condition with a new band too! I will be bringing my other watches here for service soon!

Incredible selection, excellent prices, extremely friendly people. I went into this store hoping to find at least one time piece to get my father for a big birthday coming up. While inside, I found no less than THREE different completely distinct pieces that all seemed equally great. In the end, I purchased an amazing clock that I believe will be very well received by my father. The quality was excellent, and they were able to tell me a lot of details about the piece I was buying. The price was more than fair, and the experience was very pleasant!

This place, the people and the service are amazing. On the spot service, wonderful people and some of the most incredibly beautiful clocks, watches and timepieces.So much to see, so little time. I have never been disappointed in their service both professionally and personally. Im going back again to just look around, I could spend hours in this shop.

After further research, my understanding is that these folks are great at maintaining and servicing watches. However, my experience with their clock repair has not been good. I have an old Gilbert wall clock which has been running well for years. I last had it serviced a few years ago before moving to San Diego. It developed a problem - I think a mainspring issue - and I brought it here. I was quoted a reasonable price and was told it should take 2 weeks to repair. I waited 3 weeks, called and was told parts were ordered and give them another 2 weeks. Then another 2 weeks and put off again. The short story is after more than 2 months I finally picked it up, still not working. I took it to another shop who has indicated it now needs extensive repairs, mostly due to the efforts of these guys. Of course to be fair, its an old clock and with my not being an expert, I have no idea what really went wrong. But Ive never had issues like this before. Long story short, I cant recommend this shop for your antique clock services. I now have it at another service place who says they can correct what was done wrong - will cost me a bit extra but the sentimental value makes it worth it to me.

There are many watches and other various forms of clocks here. I had a watch repaired for a very reasonable price and in a reasonable time frame. Very nice staff as well.

Frank changed my battery and set the correct time in all of about 5 minutes. I wish everything was this easy!

Very unhelpful. They werent interested in fixing our clock or selling us one. They just kept asking if we had antique pocket watches to sell them. I wouldnt go back.

I thought I wouldnt find a jeweler/watch repair shop I could trust and that was reasonable until I found Timekeepers of Escondido. Conveniently located on Grand Ave I needed to get my watch battery replaced, have some earrings repaired and get a band on another watch adjusted. THIS is where you can do all that. In addition they have a vast selection of old clocks (really cool ones) chiming ones and all! Great service and Im a happy customer who will be back!

Very impressed with variety of grandfather clocks and many smaller unique and probably antique clocks. I visited to get battery replaced for my wrist watch, and enjoyed looking around.

Took my tag heuer there. The entire movement had to be replaced this guy knows his stuff. my watch is running beautifully and he polished it as well so Im bling blinging it.

I have owned antiques clocks since 1972 and lived in four states since then. I now have 39 antique clocks. Burhan Kivrak is the best repair man I have ever experienced. He never gives up on a clock and keeps mine all running no matter what. He picks up and delivers at no cost if the clock needs set up or is very delicate. His shop is full of unique and wonderful clocks so it is very worth visiting and adding to any collection.

I have been here twice. Very honest guy the prices well. I priced it out to just change my band for my luminox watch in poway and it cost 6 times more than here. Plus his shop is awesome and fun to look around. Going here from now on.

I recently took my older Seiko Bellmatic into Timekeepers and Sheree was able to custom fit a new leather band to fit. She cleaned up the crystal and the watch looks great. Top-notch service at reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.

Expert service at fair prices

After going to other jewelers to get my Rolex repaired they wanted to melt it down saying it was unrepairable. Timekeepers not only fixed it but was reasonable. Have since had several other clocks and watches cleaned and repaired. Recommend highly.thanks Lorraine Rose Wood

I came in the afternoon and was told that the watchmakers would be back in half an hour. Came back 40min later. Told again theyd be back in 10min. I dont like my time being wasted. Took my business elsewhere.

It took us 30+ yrs to find the Timekeepers to service our Grandfather Clock. Burban Kivrak was very responsive and knowledgeable. We are sorry to loose him because we have moved. Over the last few years, my choice of watch repair/service place has always been Timekeepers of Escondido. I have gotten excellent service from this place and have been very happy about it. I dont trust other places to service my good watches and Timekeepers pricing is also another reason to come back to. Just got my IWC watch repaired yesterday and so thankful that I have saved a lot of money by going to Timekeepers vs. sending the watch to IWC service center which would have cost me at least 3 times as much. Keep up the GREAT services and I will continue my trust in you.

I have purchased watches and had watch is repaired here and had great service.

I brought my grandfather’s pocket watch to Mr. Kivrak for repair. The watch hadn’t been operational for over 50 years. Mr. Kirvak cleaned and repaired the watch and it ran perfectly; however, after a few months the watch wouldn’t wind. I took the watch back to Time Keepers. Mr. Kirvak stands by his work and took the watch back without question and repaired it at no cost to me. I highly recommend Time Keepers.

I dropped off three pieces on a Tuesday...a watch and 2 necklaces. One of the necklaces needed to be restrung the other the chain needed to be fixed. The woman told me it would be done by the end of the week. I thought wow that is quick! how great. The watch and broken chain necklace were done on time...however, the necklace that needed to be strung is still not done almost 3 weeks later and it seems like now they have misplaced it as they tried to give me the incorrect necklace. they said they would call when things were finished and have not called once to give any sort of update. we have had to call them multiple times and even go into the store to see what was going on. really disappointed because everyone has said that it is such a wonderful place...

I’ll only give two stars because the owner is friendly. But the shop is in a hoarders paradise Condition. Magazines and other various items everywhere on the counters it’s hard to visualize the watches. These items are definitely not price to move from stock but just to fill the owner’s wallet. He acts like he wants to keep every item not interested in trying to move merchandise that’s why the shop is completely cluttered and barely maneuverable seriously. What bothered me the most was Surprisingly every item that I looked at I was told it is $80 Even though the watches were completely different styles and sizes so apparently he just needed $80 for whatever reason after work.Ridiculous since the trays were overflowing with those type of watches And it looks like he hasn’t sold one in years. The guy is definitely a hoarder and it’s frustrating to shop there. All items there are definitely overpriced it’s best to look on Amazon for better more reasonable deals.

Came to buy to buy some watch starps for my Huawei Watch. Was a bit pricey for what I could of gotten online. The store itself was excellent and the gentleman that assisted me seemed very knowledgeable.

I brought in my Invictus watch on Christmas Eve, and the store owner repaired my broken second hand within an hour for very cheap. Excellent service from a very professional person. Will be coming back for sure.

Timekeepers is a excellent clock and watch repair shop. I have used them since 2001 and Burhan (the owner) has always worked on my grandfather clock and automatic watches. Lately, (Jul12) he serviced our grandfather clock in my home and it is working better than brandnew. The clock was set to the USN atomic clock and is still within 2 mins. today. Burhan is also a very trustworthy technician who is very fair and honest with his prices. I highly recommend him and his shop for any clock and watch repair needs.

I broke the pin that attaches the watch to the band. I walked in and within 5 minutes I was fixed and on my way. It cost me 4 dollars. Thats service and a price that cant be beat.
