Tony is such a nice guy! I like to support local business so I happened upon this place when I needed to get my moms wedding ring sized up for myself and the wrap downsized for my future daughter-in-law. Due to the shape of the rings he was honest about the risks involved but we went ahead with the sizing. The rings are PERFECT! We decided to get my sons wedding ring here and he was so kind to give him a discount because “they are just starting out”. Skip those overpriced mall shops and come here, you won’t regret it!!!

I took some jewelry to Tony at Palomar Jeweler to get sized and repaired. Admittedly I had a pretty tall order when I asked his staff to increase a ring from a 5 to a 10! Let me tell you what, they knocked it out of the park! You couldnt even tell it had been a Size 5 before. Wow, shocked on how Tony treated me this afternoon and not in a good way. I’ve spent a good deal of money for the wife at this place.At least I would like to think. I tried to get the backside to my watch removed so I could change the battery. He talked to me through the door. Didn’t even give me a chance to finish talking when he was already saying no. What kind of customer service is that. I’ve been meaning to buy a watch there. But he quickly changed my mind by showing his true colors.

I went to Palomar Jewelers on a friends recommendation. I just needed a new battery for my husbands watch. I was greeted by a friendly and polite gentlemen (Tony?) who offered immediate assistance. He looked at the watch and said Oh, you dont need a battery. The stem was simply pulled out. Oboy was my face red! But the point of the story is, these folks have my business and my recommendation. So refreshing to find an honest person in these troubled times. Thank you!

Called this jewelry store to ask about their appraisal costs... before I could finish my initial greeting, a simple hello, I get told that they are busy and rushed to get to my point. Horrible customer service, horrible customs and courtesy.

This place is the worst. The customer service is awful and the selection of engagement rings is not good. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I asked the manager if he had an H/VS2 diamond I could look at and he just starred at me confused like he didn’t know what I was talking about. How can you work at a jewelry store and not know about diamond color and clarity? THERE WAS A COLOR AND CLARITY CHART ON THE COUNTER! I ended up going to Robbins Brothers and found exactly what I wanted. They have a much better selection and their jewelry is AIG insured. I’m very happy now!

My 30 year old wedding ring had been too small to get off my finger for 10 years and was getting tight and looking pretty dinged up. Tony and his wonderful staff were able to cut it off, resize it so that it can fit over my knuckles while not being too loose once it is on. They polished it up and it looks as good as it did 30 years ago. The resize took less gold than he estimated so it ended up being less expensive than quoted. Palomar Jewelers is my wife and my new jeweler for anything we need. Honest, professional, personable. His price was less than two other quotes I had from other jewelers in the mall. We tried Palomar Jeweler because of the good reviews we read about them so I wanted to share my good experience for others. You should do yourself a favor and give Tony your next jeweler business!

Oh my goodness, these guys are lacking quality & customer service. Initially, our experience was great, lots of excitement and talk around designing my wife’s engagement set, built with a family heirloom, heart shaped diamond. We received the set in late November. Fast forward less than 3 months when we took a Valentine’s Day trip to the desert. In the morning, the ladies were admiring the gorgeous diamond and less than 4 hours later, my wife looks down to see her diamond was missing from her ring. She was not out riding or doing anything that could merit losing the stone. Only four months after going to these guys our rock, GONE. Tony went from being a “family friend” type, to cold and short. He lacked compassion and was unwilling to rectify his lack of quality & workmanship. (He stands behind his shoddy Jewler).We took the set in to a different jeweler to have the diamond replaced & they were shocked to see there were only 3 prongs placed to hold the diamond into the ring. This Jewler was a woman and was extremely knowledgeable. We learned the prongs holding in her ring were not even the correct type for the heart. The new Jewler has 5 points of attachment where as Tony’s guy only had three. None of which even anchored the stone in place as it sat raised up from the setting. Almost floating. We had no idea as we had to learn the hard way.As much as we thought we’d found our “jeweler”, it didn’t take long to see Tony’s true colors. I’d avoid at all costs, especially with anything sentimental. We wouldn’t wish this upon anyone. Steer clear my friends.

Amazing family, and amazing jeweler. My fiancé and I purchased our wedding bands here. I initially wasnt excited to go shopping for rings, and on a whim my fiancé said lets stop by the closest jeweler, thank goodness we stopped in here. Not only did we find gorgeous wedding bands for my fiancé, and a manly wedding band for myself, but we were blessed to get to know the family of the business. I have worked in customer service since I was 15, and I have to say that this isnt just customer service, this feels like family. They gave us such good service and we built a relationship with my fiancé and I that will last a lifetime. Theres something about having your own family jeweler, and as my fiancé and I start our life together, we are so blessed to have found our jeweler from here on out. If you want to be taken care of, dont go to the big box stores or the chain stores that pressure you, come here, Tony and his family will always take care of you.
