I have known the Swangers for many years and have loved buying their beautiful and original jewelry creations. They did an outstanding job of creating for me a gold avocado pendant with a blue green tourmaline to celebrate my family’s 100 yrs in avocados. Great communication, reasonable price, beautifully done.

So this is the store I’ve always used over the past 20 years. Not often, but great service & work until last week. My wedding & engagement rings were to be completed last week. So I went to get them a few days ago. No one there although during business hours. Returned after errands & found sign saying they’d return in 10 min. Waited& waited then gave up. Called several times but no answer. Today, called again & drove the 12 miles from home during “business hours.” Found another hand written sign saying they’re closed until next Tuesday which includes three days they are supposed to be open.Do not patronize! This is no longer the family owned service I’ve enjoyed over the years!Peggy Dekker Martineau

I called for a quote to have 20 14kt gold charms soldered on my new charm bracelet. Spoke with a gentleman who had to ask for the price. I was given a quote of $24 each per solder. I told the man I had the rings, just needed them attached to the bracelet. I could hear a woman in the background that she wont give a discount after so many additions. She then yelled she wont give her store away for free. I just hung up after hearing that.I called Fast Fix at the mall. $25 for the first and $15 for each after that. At least they seem like they are interested in getting repeat business!

I went there to get three rings polished and appraised and the other gentleman I spoke to was very nice the woman that owns the shop more than three times I overheard her comment that he needs to hurry up and stop wasting his time with me and how she had better things to do. Then when it came time for her to finish the appraisal and talk to me she was much too busy to bother with me so that he was going to have to do it on his own.The older lady is very rude and all she cares about is money. It cost me $30 to have my rings looked at and to verbally tell me how much they were worth.Take my advice dont even bother stopping at the shop.

Got my ring fixed, spend more than its worth but thats life. Nice people running the shop, service is on point!
