I wanted to wait until I was here for a good amount of time but I love this place! I’ve been here for 9 months and I don’t have any complaints. If I ever needed help or something fixed It happened that same day or at least the next day. Ms. Breek and Ms. Juanita are amazing and incredibly professional. If you’re looking for a nice sized place at an affordable price, I’d highly recommend.

My boyfriend recently moved into an apartment and the staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. They were very flexible with the transition and made the move in process much easier. So far the apartment is great! Would recommend this location. Miss Juanita was extremely helpful and she’s definitely a HUGE help! She’s the best

My mother was a resident for over 20 years and was pleased with the customer service provided to her. The maintenance staff was extremely helpful and always fixed things in a timely manner.

Let me start off by saying Shambreeka & Juanita are the BEST! They went above and beyond for me and my children and I’m forever appreciated! Do not think twice about coming here. My apartment is comfortable and sooooo clean. Move in ready and I love the neighborhood. Also the neighbors are very welcoming also.

I just moved in on 9/17/20...I love my place.. My son and my daughter in law live out here and I needed to be close to my family due to a few health issues...The staff is so friendly and kind....I actually know Miss Juanita from a another property from 20 years ago and it was so good to see her again here at Mission College...I have not had any issues, my place is nice and clean, bug free, my neighbors are nice..everyone in my building pretty much stay to themsleves ....I like that there is a mixture of all ages living in this community...I am a senior so I was glad to see other seniors living here....the only down fall that I have is I wish they had washer and dryers in the 2 bedroom apt but the laundry facility is very nice and clean.

Had been looking for a place for me and my wife to live while in VA and came across mission apartments and since my first phone call the whole front office were determined to get me moved in and were very friendly and understanding... the complex is very neat and taken care of. Overall great place to move and very affordable

I wasnt able to move here simply because of the availability of my timing or procrastinating (I shouldve locked in the first time I looked). I was excited at every aspect of the search, the price, the location, the amenities, the reviews and VERY happy with the staff. I went there 2 times in my search the first time I met with Ms. Breek and the second time was Ms. Juanita and they had a genuine concern in what they were doing and how they treated me. I would highly recommend this location and if you check it out and feel like I did, jump on it, dont wait and miss out like I did! Thank you ladies for real and genuine customer service!

Been here a few months and so far I am impressed. The management office here is professional, efficient and timely with requests. I made a maintenance call while I was at work for an issue that didn’t require an immediate handling, and they were able to fix it before I returned home that day. You may run into the typical interesting neighbors, but I’m giving them a 5 star because of the way they handle the complex and tenants as a whole.

This complex is very organized. I have a family member who decided to move to this complex and her transition was very smooth. The administrative team was very polite , respectful and informative.

I have enjoyed my stay here so far. Great place. The manager and the people at the office are friendly, welcoming and very responsive.

The only reason I cant give them 5 stars is because the previous office staff was horrible at their job, awesome ladies though. They have restaffed and the new women are awesome both personality and work. Continually, the walls are so thin! I can hear my roommate in the shower squeezing out her liquid soap. And the people above me are obnoxiously loud but hey, its an apartment. Other than that, its a roof over my head, they fix things in a VERY TIMELY fashion, and no one bothers me. Definitely recommend it. Bug free!! Couldnt ask for more. Price is reasonable. Love it.

Thanks too the wonderful staff at Mission College I was able too move into my new apartment. This is my first place of residence on my own and they helped me throughout the process. They were informative and kept up with me throughout the process. Mission College prices are very reasonable along with a comforting environment!

Made an appointment to view their 2 bedroom apartment. Drove 30 min and through the tolls to get there just to be told they didn’t have anything to show me and that I could look at the virtual tour (which is already online). What was the point in letting me make an appointment to view the apartment if it was available to view? Terrible customer service and scheduling.

My experience with the complex wasnt as great when I first moved in, but there has been great improvements with a new management and manager. My prior altercations were addressed in a timely manner. Ive gotten follow-ups to ensure that everything was running and working smoothly. The community manager Ms. Juanita Ricks has been a great help since arrival. Things gets done promptly, and efficiently. I like and Im comfortable with my living arrangements. I also love the management. The people are friendly, its quiet, clean, affordable, convenient etc. My experience has improved greatly and its simply a great complex to be living in. One shouldnt feed into rumors or another partys bitterness. They do assist with situating issues, and working with you through complications. Patience - Positive Attidude.

This is a great little community near downtown Norfolk! The rents are affordable and it is one of the only apartment complexes which has 4 bedroom apartments! The staff there are all very friendly and helpful and truly care about the community and the residents. Mary the Manager is very nice and dedicated to only the best for the community, there are not many managers out there who are as dedicated as she is. I have nothing but great things to say about Mission College!

Absolutely love this place! It’s in the heart of Norfolk and the staff there are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. Maintenance is on their job and keeps the grounds looking great daily.

Just moved in with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago, and love the apartments! Beautiful looking on the outside and friendly people. Youll always have that con about anywhere you go. I love it, definitely recommend for someone whos looking for a perfect first apartment like it was ours!

Previous staff was horrible, had a pending balance of $ 1,000. New staff is great, fixed everything and really only owed $60 ! They get stuff fixed on time and care for their tenants unlike previous management. Great place to start off if youre new to the Hampton Roads area.

I gave up hope when it came down to finding an apartment. and Juanita Breek put faith back into me and told me don’t gave up. So I filled out an application and all is well.. I recently moved into an apartment at mission college and I have to say the entire process was easy and hassle free with the staff very adept in customer service and getting you on the right track.They went above and beyond to make sure I was able to move in on the date I chose and even went pass their working hours to assist me. The sqft to price ratio is phenomenal and very hard to beat.I strongly recommend mission college of you seek good pricing and great customer service.

I have been living out Mission College Apartments for about 10 years its a wonderful place to raise your family It has a Elementary School beside it right across the street is a High School and down the street is Norfolk State University you are located in the center of Downtown Norfolk you will also love the beautiful landscape here they have a pool with a life guard every day its open they have a gym and a lovely remodel laundry room with a smart card payment system you will always be greeted by the lovely staff in the rental office they have security that patrol the area and Norfolk police also patrol the area I was born and raise in Norfolk I have made Mission College Apartments my home to live I hope you will too ...

My experience with looking at an apartment with Shambreeka was AMAZING. She gave me all the information I needed and I am definitely looking forward to signing a lease with Shambreeka at Mission College Apartments.

Applied got approved and had a move in date.gave the deposit to hold my apartment. The day before I move in I get a call telling me my apartment won’t be ready. I understood that it might be late give 2-3 days(which I was told, you know things happen). I then go to ask them “when will it would be ready? “and they told me they don’t know. They pretty much told me their hands were tied and I was just out back bcus the apartment wasn’t ready. I don’t care what the situation was they knew a month ago I was scheduled to move in and they should have been more on top of things. Mind you I’ve already cancelled my prior living situation. Leaving me homeless. Took off of work and planned my life accordingly. The manager Juanita had no compassion and did nothing to rectify the situation. Unprofessional is all I have to say! If you plan on moving here have a back up bcus they will leave you homeless!

As a college student I had 3 musts. Close to school, pubic transportation, and price price price! Mission college met all 3 and my bonus is a nice office staff and friendly neighbor. Check this place out!

This place genuinely have a nice staff .. even tho I didnt get a place here .. they were so patient and understand even after the huge misunderstanding on my part , they still was very up beat and polite. More business should be like this place

Mission college has been a pleasure for me I have been living here for 9 years and I really enjoy sitting and conversing with the office staff. They are pleasant and helpful Ive really enjoyed my stay.

Terrible neighbors.Police always on premises for complaints and crimes.Roaches from OTHER units (I had not even moved in yet- had to bomb my home using my own resources)Paper thin walls.Not enough security in home (ONE lock on door).Slow maintenance response times.Overly expensive laundry units PLUS nowhere onsite or nearby to get quartersMachines and Dryers old; takes money.Young threatening disorderly demographic.Does not feel safe.Loitering directly outside of home.And on a good day, GUNSHOTS.NOISY NOISY NOISY. (Can hear through wall, floors, AND ceilings)Trash on premises (in grass; on steps)Oh yeah, utilities NOT included.

This was my first apartment and it was a really good experience. The staff was nice and the apartment was a good price for the area.

The staff from my visit today was very helpful with any concerns I had. Gloria had a pleasant welcome as soon as I walked into the door. Alaina handled my problem within a timely manner. Property manager Mrs. Ricks andswered and other questions I had regarding unit tendencies. I am very satisfied with the service I was provided today.

I love the people in the office they are very polite and helpful . And maintenance is always available whenever you call them.

I’ve lived at Mission COllege for a few years now and there has been quite a bit of new faces within the staff and residents but within the last 6 months people and staff have become very friendly and welcoming.

Juanita Ricks is the best property manager that i have ever met even though im moving i will really miss her she works with you and makes sure that paperwork and property is kept up.

Never seen so many roaches ah day of my life. Pest control trash. To the point i just stop asking for them to come and did my own research and kept most of them away myself. They want everything done through them but end up doing a horrible job. They told me i couldnt hire my OWN pest control. Couldnt move out so i was stuck living with roaches until my lease was up. I was not going to pay double to break my lease off some infestation i did not cause. good luck to whoever moves there. If i could upload videos on here i would.

Ronisha has been great. She is going the extra mile for me. My Circumstances resulted in not getting an apartment at Misson College, but Ronisha is helping me way beyond that. She truly will help you find your new home!

Horrible apartment complex. Gun shots literally every few days and even a murder taking place on the grounds of one of the complexes. They continously raise the rent for no apparent reason and arent negotiable with any problems you may have with being late on your rent because of personal/life reasons. Definitely dont recommend living there

Mission collage is a wonderful place to reside at Mary is a very wonderful propertys manager ..she does her work very good.. I DONT HAVE ANYTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY... I LOVE MISSION COLLAGE...

I like staying out mission college because The neighbors ever friendly, The people in the rental office are very nice ! Its also have every spacious apartment and The maintenance on call and off call very considerate of your needs

Mission college is terrible and partially because of who it is owned by. The premises stay dirty. The apartments are roach infested. The spraying is not helping. It actually just made out proble triple. Plus it is a tedious process to prepare for a spraying that takes all of 30 seconds. Spraying has them mutating and becoming tolerent to the solution and raid. Neighbors are loud and inconsiderate. We recycle neighbors like every couple of months. They look nice but you do not want to live here. In the end management is unprofessional. They send out final notices without ever having sent the first notice.

Mission college is a great place to live, in the office they are very friendly and have great customer service. Its very clean and definitely have great prices!

Mission college is ratchet af. Crack heads smoking out of foil on the stair way, walls so thin you can hear your neighbors toss and turn at night, roaches out of this world ( the only time i didnt see them is when it got cold but in the summer its ridiculous) and it takes maintenance forever to fix anything in these run down apartments. What really got me is the infestation of roaches. It was so bad i had to put boratic acid around the perimeter of the whole apartment(counters and cabinates included) . I couldnt keep my kids in there because of how it was and i kept my apartment clean at all times nothing seemed to work. Ill never forget the time they wouldnt spray until i vaccumed the acid up. When i did so i watched multiple roaches crawl from under the carpet where i had the acid at. It was a horrible experience it sucks to live and pay rent at a place you cant be comfortable in.

Nice place to live. Convenient for NSU students. However if you dont like children this is not the place for you because their is an elementary school across the street and alot of children live in this area, so they are always outside playing.

Beware🚫🚫🚫 No one gets their deposit back. I have talked to several people who have stayed here. Please dont come for my review. Most of the reviews are accounts made by the staff anyway to keep their ratings up.Its the truth and Im sure theyll lie in their response. Vehicle got broken into. I stayed there and they impound my car twice thinking I had money cause rims were on it. Smh!!! Rent too high and not worth 730.00 when you hear noise and see the police 24/7.No matter whether you clean up after moving out or not they dont give deposits back. If you wanna keep a good rental history and keep good credit dont move here.
