Tanglewood Nails have raised the bar for all salons. This salon has great customer service. Especially Kelley who did my manicure and face wax. She understands that you can find a nail salon on every corner and they have to set themselves apart from the rest. Great place!

Tanglewood Nails is run by professionals with the highest standards of hygiene and great attention to the customer needs. I have been going for years and I highly recommend their services. They even adapted quickly to the new pandemic-imposed rules and they carefully respect them. A great experience at every visit, and this thanks to Kelly and all the staff who always make me feel comfortable and welcome.

Pedicure was uncomfortable and unsanitary. Reused nail files and cleaned stuff off with their barehands and nails. To top it all off the woman tipped herself on my card and it wasn’t until I pointed out that what she told me and what she charged me were different that I noticed she tipped herself!!! Not honest people. I almost tipped her twice.

I got my nails done here about a month ago and my nails have not yet lifted !!! WOW!!! Will definitely be going back !! usually a week or two after I get my nails done at other places they start getting stuck in my hair and its been 23+ days and no lifting or getting stuck !!

I tried this place yesterday. The ladies were very attentive so they get 2 🌟. However, this place is rundown, old and dirty. Their best and high priced elite pedicure (55dls) involved being exposed to very low quality products from the scrubber to the nail polish. The cleaning of the equipment is really doubtful from the nail cutter to the towels. I dont think they sterilize equipment between clients, other than lightly rinse them with water. It is disgusting. Older lady next to me not wearing a mask. They seamed lacking clients so I understand why. I wont be back and I hope I didnt catch covid or a fungus from this rundown place.

My absolute favorite nail salon in the neighborhood. Former President First Lady Barbara Bush also had her nails done at this lovely established. Im honored to be apart of the clientele.

Horrible communication, they told me my friend could come in to get a pedicure with me and she drives all the way here and insult her and give her dirty looks to then say she cant get a pedicure. I will NEVER come here again!

My first time here was in August and I was so pleased by the service and experience as I was new to the Houston area but Kim is absolutely wonderful and really takes her time giving you exactly what you came for! Found my go to spot and have been coming back ever since and I highly recommend to everyone! :)

The atmosphere was very calming and welcoming after a long work day! The staff were very friendly and seemed to already know their customers. My nails have never looked better and my technician did a beautiful job of correcting someone else’s shoddy work.

The staff at TangleWood nails were absolutely wonderful! I went in for a manicure on a Saturday morning, and was seated immediately. The mani was $15 and included arm and neck massage as well. Everything was very clean and the salon did not have overwhelming chemical fumes like some places do. I recommend this place to all my friends!

I got my nails done here using dip powder and 1st there selection of colors is limited. The woman who did my nails was very nice but it was obvious during and after she didnt know what she was doing. For this service I will never go again.

I came here since they had high ratings but will not be returning. I got a mani pedi and the polish on the mani is so thick its still not dry after 2 hrs! She also filed them all uneven.

This place is super close to where I live so I decided to pop in on a Saturday around 2pm. I was seated right away with a selection of colors and the work was done in an extremely detailed fashion.

Tanglewood Nails is the only place Ill go in Houston! Minh does my nails but ALL the ladies are wonderful and talented. Plus, George H.W. Bush & the former First Lady, Barbara, also go there. I was surprised how affordable they are, considering they are in Tanglewood. I have been getting mani/pedi for about 18 years and when I moved to Houston, I wanted a seamless continuation of my previous regimen. Who knew it would be hard to find a new salon? Then, I found Tangelwood Nails. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxing and friendly without being stuffy or pretentious.

Okay... she didnt file my nails. My nails are short in her defense. Not a lot of colors to choose from.There are cheaper places for nails as well.

Staff was rude and did a pretty bad job with my nails. Nail polish peeled off literally that same day, a few hours after she did it. I am never going back.
