Honestly this is an amazing community to live in. I say community because that is how it feels. Stacy and the rest of management has been amazing. They hold community events from time to time, and one recently where there were games, prizes, and catered to celebrate our local fire fighters. This is the first apartment complex out of 3 others Ive lived in that felt like a community. I always get fast responses from maintenance and management as well.The ONLY reason its not a 5 star for me is for my schedule the pool and fitness center dont stay open long enough. I wish they were open even just 1 more hour because I dont get home until almost 6pm so weekends are my only time to visit those features. But the pool itself is clean and I love being surrounded by trees and nature. Fantastic community and amazing management. Stacy, you and everyone else rock!

Very positive and friendly manager who prompt me and help me in any situation. I like the location of these apartments, quiet and peaceful area, friendly neighbors. Searching for a home during the pandemic has been quite challenging! That said, I was truly impressed with Miss Hsia at this location. She was very knowledgeable, professional and seemed genuinely interested in supporting me on my journey to find a new place to live. I enjoy the residential atmosphere of the Commons. Stacy, Cody, Jade, Adan and Shawn are personable, friendly and always ready to help with questions or concerns. Though it is what I consider a medium large apartment complex, it feels cozy and homey. The grounds are beautiful and well groomed. I also love that pets of all sizes are welcome--though I dont have one at this time.

I visited the area looking for an apartment for my family and I. Hsia gave me a tour here and was super helpful, friendly, and overall pleasure to talk with! She was courteous and welcoming when we met and even playful with my kids. I have lived here for a while and I still love it. The area is nice and close to groceries, school and fun. The girls in the office make sure the community looks good and is safe. Stacy is Super sweet and I’m thankful for a good apartment manager. The guys Adam, shawn, and Cody do great keeping maintenance under control. It’s been easy loving here.

I have lived at the Commons for just short of two years and it has been a great experience. I have only had a couple of routine or simple maintenance issues over a two year period. Adam and Cody both helped to resolve issues quickly each time, even when a replacement part needed to be ordered for my washing machine. Anytime I’ve had a question, the office staff has been super helpful. I’ve spoken with Erika on a number of occasions and the responses were always timely and accurate. I would definitely recommend The Commons to anyone who asked!!

I moved in mid July in the midst of a separation and Stacy and Erica made me feel comfortable with my choice by pointing out important details about the apartment complex. I have been here since and honestly, I love it! Its very relaxing and I have good neighbors. Lived here for a year now, love it its really great excellent parking, and the management staff is very engaged in the community. Lots of events year round and surprisingly affordable, not to mention how close it is to everything.I called the office to renew my lease and even when I was a day late, one of the property managers Stacy helped me out and got everything set up

I have lived here for about five months now and I would have to say this has to be the best property I have lived in. I did have some minor issues with fellow neighbors yet the staff was quickly to resolve this. I want to thank Stacy,Erika,Cody and Aden for being excellent and always willing to help ! A few months ago, I went on a trip to Oregon and was notified by Aden that there was a leak coming from my apartment. Aden and Cody straight away got the problem fixed . There was this instance where I forgot my keys and called right in to the office. Erika went the extra step to lock/open my apartment for me .This location is close to many shopping centers and you are always a few minutes away from everything. This complex is very quite in the day and night. Overall, I recommend this apartment complex . Thank you again to the lovely staff!

On Tuesday of this week came home(after 6p.m.) from work to sound of dripping water from my ceiling.. I called the office to retrieve after hours phone number, to my surprise Brandi answered the office phone. She was professional and pleasant, took down my information and within a few minutes maintenance arrived! Cody came in , found the source of dripping water, corrected the issue and said he would be back with a dehumidifier. I returned from work the next day, dehumidifier in place! Cody is always professional and friendly.I have lived here several years and am pleased to say Katie and management are professional. Aden and Cody take great care of the maintenance in and around the complex.Thank you for doing a great job!Keep up striving for excellence!

Been in my 1 bedroom loft for a year now and I absolutely love it. Probably the most quiet apartments I’ve lived in and I really appreciate that. Also love that there’s plenty of parking for whenever I have guests. Erika in the office is always so friendly and helpful whenever I have a question or concern, she’s on top of it.Overall I’m glad to say I’m very happy with my place of residence and plan on being here for a while!

The commons is hands down the best apartment I’ve ever lived in, the office staff is incredibly friendly and the maintenance is top notch, especially Cody! Always does a quick and efficient job with even the smallest of issues. I don’t even want to leave this review because it’s truly a hidden gem in federal way! 😉😂 it’s very peaceful, feels very safe and relaxing.

I have to say that these apartment complex, is much better than my last place I lived. Its much more quiet and I am literally close to everything. The management team have also been helpful as well, especially Erika Brown. She responds quickly to any questions or concerns I have about getting something fixed or being helpful with payments for my rent. I would recommend The Commons to any new or future tenants.

I have not had too many maintenance needs but when I do it is usually Cody that takes care of them. He knows what he is doing, he is efficient and always completes any request in a timely manner. Cody is a great asset to the Commons!

My husband and I moved in about two months ago and have had absolutely no problems. The pet policy really was our deciding factor because a lot of places in WA didn’t want our fur babies, but The Commons did!! The ladies in the office are so friendly and helpful. We moved in sight unseen and we love it. The neighborhood is quiet and the maintenance team is always on top of the request I put in. Thank you guys for making our move way less stressful!

My husband and I have lived here for almost a year and I can say we picked a really good spot. Its quiet and no crime rate within inside our community.(cant say much about the outside of the community). We also like the unique designs of the apartments. We currently live in a loft and we freaking love it! Many folks can complain about their apartments but we dont have any except sharing expenses with your whole apartment unit. Other than that parking is great and there is definitely plenty of guest parking.Shout out to the new office people.Stacy, Erika, Brandi, Ryan, Cody, Adan ( I really miss Cheyenne)

I lived here almost 10 years, it was nice, affordable and they took care of things. Im off to Florida for a new adventure but this place definitely felt like home while I stayed. Avenue5 Management took very good care of me and would recommend this place. Who knows you might even get my apartment and it has a nice view of the pool area

The Commons Apartments are a great place to live! They are spacious, close to freeways and central shopping and they have an amazing staff! Stacey, Erika, Katie, Adan, Shaun and Cody are an amazing team.

Have lived here over two years now. The staff has always been helpful and attentive. Work orders have been attended to quickly by very qualified maintenance workers, especially Cody as he is the one that comes the must and resolves everything getting it fixed.Its a good place to live. Are there problems? Sure there are. Each time Ive brought it up, the response regarding it is quick as can be with satisfied results most of the time.Its important to clarify questions you may have so there are no surprises like some have written in their negative posts. They didnt clarify or reach out to the staff and got results they didnt like due to lack of communicating. For me, phone calls are answered or returned after leaving a message. Emails are responded to promptly when their office is open.The only wish I have is that the dryers were capable of higher wattage so the dryer could dry the clothes faster. This community was built long ago I believe in the early 80s so the fuse box load is smaller than it currently is with code requirements where the wiring is if youre using a microwave and toaster at the same time on the same fuse line, the fuse will lock up requiring a fuse reset then starting the cooking again. And the dryer fuse is used on a regular plug so it will not be able to use high heat as youre used to and take much longer to dry the clothes.Overall the place is nice. The environment is nice. Nice to have walking places nearby. Rent prices seem reasonable. Pets are everywhere so it is definitely a pet friendly place as long as the dogs are on leashes!Is everything perfect? No, thats not always possible. But for the type of place it is, the area, environment...its worth considering as a place to live.Just make sure you know what is expected of you when moving in and ask the staff what happens when you plan to move out so it is a smooth one without surprises.

8/25/21 Update: We have been living here for almost 1 month now. The maintenance crew (Adan, Cody, and Shawn) and property managers (Erika, Stacy, and Katie) have been so helpful in answering questions I have and I appreciate them greatly. Every time I have an issue, no matter how small, they are willing to help me out. No matter if its a phone call or going in person to the office, I feel comfortable asking my millions of questions. Submitting maintenance requests are super easy and the crew is very flexible on when or how you want them to enter.No matter how many words I write, I cant fully express how grateful I am to have these people provide me with information and a helping hand.=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Original Review Below=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Disclaimer: We have only toured here so far and put in an application. In the future Ill look to update this if we move in.So there we are, my girlfriend and I, having four tours scheduled for one day. Our first one is The Commons Apartments. Beforehand I made a very in-depth list of questions to ask as we werent very questioning in our other apartment tours.Our tour guide was Erika Brown and she showed us a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit. The unit was great. The only potential issue we saw was some wood splintering above the balcony. However, the unit we toured wasnt the one we chose to apply to. As this was the only issue we saw through the entire unit, we felt very good about this complex.I then started firing off my questions on Erika. I was worried that whoever we toured with would find it awkward answering so many questions but that was not the case with Erika. She was very confident and the speed she answered was not too quick, nor too slow. I think this showed they were honest answers and I really appreciate that.If our application is accepted and we move in, I hope honesty and open communication continues at that same level.This was the first tour of the day, and the second one we were not impressed with. We cancelled the next two tours and submitted our application for here later that night. I try to be a very well-informed consumer and take my time before making large financial decisions. So for me to be willing to submit the application right away speaks volumes to how well the tour went.Thank you and were looking forward to what the future holds!

So far the experience has been pretty good! I love the community, its very quiet, and most of the office staff are very accommodating and helpful. Erika in particular has been extremely helpful, friendly, professional, and caring. Every issue thats popped up has been taken care of promptly and with professionalism. There has been some minor issues but nothing that can’t be overlooked and most of those issues typically comes with apartment life in general. Overall, very good experience so far!

I have lived in this complex for a few months on the recommendation of my sister. Since day one the management team have been very responsive with every question and every request I have. I walk my dog everyday and somedays I do see someone from their team cleaning the common areas. The team we have managing this complex have shown that they care about the property and the people who reside here.

Ive been here since 2018 ... I personally love the space for a 1bed room... washer & dryer in apartment & thats extremely important for me... I have good neighbors... the management has been extremely helpful & Ericka is great not only does she help she goes beyond... In my experience, The Commons Apartments complex makes for a very nice community to live in. The people that I have met here are very nice, and are good neighbors to have. The staff is also very nice including Stacy, Erika, Brandi, Ryan, Cody and Adan. When there is an issue with maintenance, they are all very helpful, and it is resolved very soon. Have lived at the Commons Apartments for more than 8+ years. The apartment is nice and spacious. The neighborhood is quiet with a walking path nearby (BPA trail). There is valet trash so you only simply put your trash outside and someone picks it up which is a great perk! The walls are thick so you really do not hear your neighbors which I appreciate. The apartment is a bit older so they dont have all the nice bells and whistles in some other complexes but everything works, and maintenance is able to fix any issues that arise. I have not have much interaction with the office staff but when I do, all of them are nice, friendly and willing to help. Thank you to the wonderful staff! Been here for about two years and has been great so far. The staff here: Katie, Erica, Stacy, Brandi, Cody and Adan have been very helpful when problems come up and are friendly and courteous always. Neighborhood is very quiet, love the space available for their one bedroom apts and having washers and dryers in the apt is a plus for me.

Kudos to The Management Team, Ericka, Stacy and Katie. They are very helpful and resourceful. When you need to go in the office for anything, they are nice and maintain a professional demeanor and exchange. For the length of time Ive lived here, any maintenance needed has always been done in a quick turnaround, most often less than 24 hours.

The apartments were absolutely wonderful, the property was beautiful and the their upkeep is great. The staff were nothing but welcoming and helpful with any questions you might have. I have been a resident of the commons apartments for almost 3 years now. Upon moving in the office people were very kind and courteous. Always informative and willing to help out in any way. Dealt with disturbing complaints and even went the extra mile to intervene when some people decided to be unpleasant and disrespectful. Totally admire the effort of them being proactive in building a good community within the complex. Way to go guys.

The commons is my home I moved here with my husband a year ago and I have peace because my car is safe and the parkings are spacious and clean all time and the house is enough and with clean appliances the other thing it’s security I work till late night when I come home always meet the security guard at work moving around the homes, that makes me fill more secure the place is clean and it’s very rare to see any garbage , the office staff is the other important thing ,at commons never a single day have I ever not been attended with gladness , and they help me get directions to what to do especially when I was moving in , I still prefer to be here as long as I haven’t moved to my own house in future . The community is quiet and keeps mostly to themselves, but when they do meet they’ve all been so nice! At least most of the time, of course. The staff are friendly and helpful and i’ve loved living here over the years!

Been with this property since 2019! Love it here. Only way I could possibly leave is when I buy a house ;) Stacy is the absolute best at communicating via email as we both have the same schedule so it’s not always easy for me to call!
