They claimed to be affordable housing/living for people who are low income. Yeah right, they are way over priced for their affordable housing. I recommend people look elsewhere, Cove East Apartments is more affordable for the Low income families.

Honestly I would give this place five stars if I was judging ONLY the apartments and my neighbors, judging the staff, theyre a freaking joke! The people who work the front are always rude and one of the maintenance guys is an even bigger joke. And their solution to everything is call resident relations, who doesnt ever answer answer phone or emails and never calls you back which makes it more pointless and a waste of time... this place would be perfect literally if theyd get the old staff back or get completely new ones

There website is never accurate, I asked like four times about different units that were shown available on their own website, but everytime they would respond saying its not available anymore, and the texts were pretty rude. Last time i checked they straight up said That unit is not available at this time Im unsure how your able to see that unit. I never lived in this apartment but the attitude of their staff is just very unprofessional and i would like to let everyone knows.

I applied here almost 40 days ago. I got denied because of almost no reason. They call it pay descripency, which is not correct. I provided all paystubs and they confirmed it with my manager. I belive the unit was not available, I got denied. Also, theie managers, specifically Smantha is very rude. She cannot explain things and will just say bye on the phone without listening to you. Dont waste your time here.

One of the best apartment complex Ive ever lived in people are very polite and respectful especially Angel, Blanca and Maurisha are always nice and friendly to me and always go above and beyond to assist me with all my questions and concerns Ive never lived in any apartment complex this clean and comfortable to live in and a very safe environment for your kids and family.

The officers hide in office all day playing Minecraft on their phones. They have no urgency to even help people. Their doors always close even when you do have an appointment. Katy was a good employee. Too bad she’s gone. She was the only one that helped me. Everyone else in there looks confuse or have an attitude. Neighbors are blasting their music, kids running in the hallway everyday of every minute and the office plays deaf to peoples concerns. The maintence are more friendlier and hard working more then zombies in the office.

I moved in 2 months ago.Since the first week Ive regretted giving up my other place to move here.The apartment is nice but you can hear EVERYTHING, from outside noise to your neighbors talking and walking.Ive made multiple complaints to both the staff and to courtesy patrol about these issues.The courtesy patrol are really good at keeping noise down at night which great for some of us who has to work in the morning.Residents here DO NOT watch their kids at all, you will see them outside playing in the parking lots and running into the streets. Watch your car closely.The employees are great but it seems they have a lot of work and arent able to give attention to residents needs or concerns. Need more employees, they never pick up the phone.I will not be renewing my lease next year...if you want to live comfortably and have some peace after work here is not the place to live.Just my opinion 😊

I hate the smell of weed and at this place people smoked it freely. People had smoked weed outside in the parking lot but all smell comes to the room I feel like someone had smoked it in my house it’s disgusting sometimes its even hard to breathe in that smell! They should work on it and make it weed-free property! Beside all that they are so nice to live a little costly but not bad at all.

Beautiful office and apartments. One star because I was visiting my sister with my kids today and we went swimming an hour into swimming I saw a roach crawling on the wall closer to the shower doors. We packed up and left real quick.

So far living here for 4 months now only if prom I have is my neighbors downstairs and across for me that are disrespectful I have called the police many times they do not come out for any loud noises Work for reasons that they shed when its after the time specified by the uptown square staff.

First off I do not live here so I cannot tell you about the apartments or management. I took my grand daughter to preschool there. That in itself is an amazing place. I did not like that one time I was picking her up and the police stopped us and told us someone in the apartment building directly beside the preschool had a gun. They rushed us out if the parking lot. I must say that was not a pleasent exoerience. My grand daughter was scared to death.

Save yourself a headache and stress, stay away from this place! Management is horrible, staff is dumb and careless, rude! They do not care about tenants all they care about is money. Rent went up twice in 2018 about $400! This is supposed to be Smoke free place.....BS people smoke weed on their balconies and parking lot, we reported several times, but yet nothing is done! Not enough parking for tenants, they will tow your guests car right away! Security comes on duty to just check parking lot, so he can call the towing company and get his commission! Their cameras never work or they tell you that it doesnt work, so they wont release any surveillance videos! If I could give 0 stars I would.

My partner and I moved to Uptown Square Apartments some time in June. We LOVE living here. Ill be honest, I dont understand all the bad reviews due to cars being towed. Ive yet to see that happen in person. Another thing -- you sign your contract stating that you are aware of the fact that you are allotted one car per unit, and that any guest vehicles must be registered online (super easy to do) and parked in the guest lot. As long as you follow the guidelines that you said you would when you signed your lease, you will be fine. We also love love love Maurisha for all her help when we were trying to rent! Maintenance is the best!

Dont know why people are bashing this complex. The complex is not low income, its income guideline . Of course you got kids running around in the complex during summer time. Great amenities gym, pool,basketball court, etc. Far as the staff they all are Great always have smile on their face.Maintence keeps the place clean ,on my end its very quite morning and night. Love the fact its has different culture living here and you have everything surrounding you meaning stores hospitals,police, bus line new library next door.. so please dont let nobody discourage you from moving here . So happy I moved too Uptown Square. Thank you guys for all the hard work you guys do.....

Basically our application was denied for being over income. They added an extra $9,000/yr to my child support. They calculated my significant others unemployment at twice what the state said they will pay for the year. Also initially, when there was a VERY OBVIOUS error on my gross earning - My employer clearly listed my earnings over a period of several YEARS****... and they took that sum and used it as my earnings for 2018 only. Apparently I have been rich all this time and didnt know it. Despite that... the woman repeatedly refused to consider the error, telling me over and over, you are missing the point. I later found out she made the same comments to my significant other. Its not that complicated... I mean, its a pretty BIG point to miss. I was truly irked to have someone attempting to assume she had the ability to talk over my head -not on your best day Miss.Anyhoo... Ill take my alleged $200K+ a year making self and go elsewhere. Totally not worth the hassle. Except.... Angel was wonderful. I will say that.Responding to property owner response. STRICT is one thing. Completely inflating a families gross earnings is another. My household with one person employed sees nowhere near $95K per year let alone $200K. Your compliance department was a joke - they glossed over the blatant errors and poor service. I offered to show W-2 to prove my earnings and was refused. We also brought the unemployment award letter that stated my significant other was only eligible for $14k in a 12 month period - but you double the amount. What more did you need?

UpdateI wish we have negative stars cause I would add -5. But, hope people read this. DONT COME HERE save your money! This is only month to month lease here! I was supposed to be a year lease but they broken my lease after a few months in when this place first open up! Trust me I am the first to move into this place. Maintenance dont repair anything right, there is meth addicts in these complex. There is content domestic abuse above the unit I was in. Loud neighbors after hours, trash in front of buildings. Trash trailing in parking lot. Again the lease here is only month to month they make it appear yearly by making you sign papers once a year. Oh yeah they CAN an WILL RAISE RENT whenever they feel like it.

To be honest here I do not like this place I live in front of the playground which is supposed to be a peaceful place its not!!!!! You hear screaming from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. its never Non-Stop so I would recommend this place for people who want the community to be loud and very noisy and the schools here are very bad you go to school here and theyll bully you for the whole year I wouldnt recommend this place at all because we signed up to be here and now theyre making us move outPS: - place reeks marijuana- litter in common areas left by residents/kids who are not well versed in cleanliness

This is low income property but their main concern is parking which is not the issue at all. They will tow your car costing you an estimated $400 to get out of impound instead of a courtesy note or call to allow for corrective action. They have cameras but I have got my car stolen and I have lived there for 3-months. Instead of improving or keeping up the maintenance of a brand new property there is food and garbage on the walls, and stairwells. Their are illegal smoking on a non-smoking property. The walls are so thin I can hear the neighbors use the bathroom.

I lived here for a year and it’s quite unfortunate to see this apartment complex recently lacking an integral factor - a professional team of management staff that exceeds in customer service. It seems that their staff members come and go...bad workplace maybe? I haven’t seen Morgan, Conjunique, nor Sabrin. These gals were great to talk to and really cared about the tenants. It’s not the same anymore. The new team members are quite disrespectful and always display an attitude when you ask for clarification. They have no patience.I also hate the marijuana smell lingering around the area.Maintenance staff have always executed their tasks well.Don’t expect your $400 deposit back, they’ll keep it AND charge you additional few hundreds. Many tenants don’t understand the rights they have and can never discern when a landlord is overstepping legal boundaries. Always document repair requests, etc. When all else fails, hire a tenant lawyer or take these greedy peeps to small claims. It frosts me when businesses can nickel-n-dime us for alleged charges and we are forced to pay up or risk a bang on our credit.

The place is great all together. they have a great rec center for the youth. also they have a great maintenance staff because the grounds are always pretty clean and maintained properly.

They will do nothing to help you but they are willing to have your car towed even if it is registered. And they will not notify you of the towed vehicle. Tried to transfer to another apartment unit with more rooms but they refused to let me transfer even though other units available saying that They werent doing transfers at this time. I do not recommend living here.

I really have nothing bad to say about the staff Alexis is cool she pretty much seems like shes learning still, no prob, I really love Morgan shes my fav, not even sure she still works there considering I havent seen her.. But other than that I NEVER see the manager and the assistant seems to always be hiding in her dark office every time I come in.. Kind of an awkward welcoming as well. If people are not on the premises its okay smoke weed, the smell does travel. I have yet to see anyone smoking weed here. There’s also town home behind the complex and it’s on 320th. You guys complaining about kids must not have any kids either unless you keeps your in the house on beautiful days which would be pretty sad. Love maintenance theyre so clean! & very quick with our service requests. Youre going to hear your neighbors, its an APARTMENT.

My car was illegally towed from Uptown Square Apartments parking lot.I was there as a guest.1. I was never given a notice from the residential manager/owners of a parked violation - it’s illegal. They should give me a notice first before towing from the privately-owned property.2. The Noffkes Towing Service did not provide me any confirmation that the property owner has authorized the tow company to remove the particular motor vehicle in accordance with RCW 46.55.080.3. I was illegally overcharged for private impound services:First hour of towing cost me $236.25 (Maximum allowable fee is $186.84 according to CPU-04-2015 Maximum Private Impound Fees).It seems that the managers of this apartment complex earn money together with the tow company.Im gonna start a case against them in Small Claims Court.

Terrible employees, it’s actually hilarious how incompetent they are. Not communicative at all whatsoever and blow off your complaints. They also lie about doing things or about helping with a problem only to forget about it. Nice apartments, but it’s not worth living here.

I tried to call back to speak with her about her unprofessionalism , and she put me ON HOLD FOR ALMOST 10 mins . At that time , I just gave up . Went in to ask about renting an apt since I have called and left messages everyday without a response. I was unwelcomed and witnessed complete unprofessionalism and lack of customer service first hand. I was also informed that tours are only conducted after you are approved and signed due to their lack of availbile units to view, which is great issue to have for business but who just signs an agreement before viewing the unit?The lady who helped me never even introduced herself nor did she welcome me. She came across as someone who hates her job and resents having to actually do what is required of her. As a manager of my own establishment I would terminate any employee who made any client feel unwelcome in the way she did.If they treat potential residents like this I could only imagine how they treat actual residents.Good riddance!

Nice place but horrible employees. They lie about what is required and do not communicate at all. Our family was forced to find another place because they lied and didnt communicate with us for 2month 2 weeks before moving date. What horrible people.

This apartment is not a good place to live in. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing (footsteps, talking, the washing machine, kids screaming, etc). People constantly smoke weed and/or cigarettes in their homes when the apartment is supposedly smoke-free and drug-free as well. Ive already complained 3 times within one month about the same neighbor smoking weed in their home.Kids left trash bags in the middle of the breezeways in front of peoples doors. Car alarms are always going off in the middle of the night. Garbage wrappers, bottles, and so on are littered around the complex.The community is just not that great here at this complex. Although the apartments look nice on the inside with new appliances and they offer good amenities such as an indoor pool and gym-- just having to deal with the noise, inconsiderate neighbors, and potheads makes it not worth it.

I applied there. No one said anything about my application i called and called dont know why they dont just kick up my phone and tell me straight up we gave your apartment to someone else. I ended up going to the office for about 5 or 7 times to just ask whats happening and i noticed their phone works (talking to other people). This whole application It was a waste of my time. They could have just tell me on the phone that we gave your apartment to someone else, they had me waste my time.

Worst place I ever lived because of the manager and manager assistant. The pregnant lady is the worst human being I ever seen I hope she gives a birth to a monkey.
