I really appreciated Tims professionalism and expertise in getting my stove fixed. Tim got all the information from me about the stove prior to arriving so that he was able to be familiar with some of the issues that could have been wrong with it. This was a difficult repair in that one of the burners was working sporadically and so initially it seemed like the stove needed a new control panel. Tim was up front about the costs involved allowing me to decide whether to go ahead with the repair or simply buy a new stove. I gave Tim the go ahead to instal the panel but the burner continued to misbehave and we had to call Tim out again. Tim was easy to get a hold of the second time and after some more testing found it was a bad relay. Sadly, the relay was pricier than the control panel but Tim only charged us the difference. He took extra time to ensure that was the problem. The stove is running like a champ and overall I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Steeles Appliance.

Was responsive and on time. However, two issues: he promised he would be able to get the parts for my washer model, and so for that reason I had him come. When he arrives, he tells me oops, actually he cant get the parts for me, and charged me the service fee, anyway. Two, he wont wear a mask, with the reason of having COPD, but he did not tell me this before taking my business. My mother has end stage COPD and will still wear a mask around other people. So, if in the time of Covid this is an important factor for you, I wouldnt hire him.

Tim was absolutely amazing. I called on a Wednesday with problems with my washer. He scheduled to come out Friday. He has on time, explained the problem and fixed it. I would highly recommend. I will also be using them from this point on. Thank you so much.

I couldnt be more pleased with Steeles Appliance! Tim responded quickly to my initial call and figured out what my oven needed to work properly again. He was able to get the parts to complete the repairs and installed them faster than I ever imagined possible. Called in after another company no- showed on a service call for my washer. I was up front that I had tried to fix the issue myself and had removed the top of my washer to try to take out the spin basket.Another company said they would come look at it, but may or may not fix it since I already took it apart, charging the $100 service trip fee first, of course.I spoke to Tim at Steeles, and explained the whole saga. He was AWESOME. He coached me through the fix, told me NOT to try to remove the spin basket, and saved me on the service call, as they were running 3-4 days out and my washer had already been out of commission for a week at that point.30 minutes later the washing machine was up and running after I removed the collar stay from the drain pump motor. Apparently you can access that from the underside of the washer without taking the whole top apart.If I ever need to service an appliance again, Ill be sure to call Steele first!

I called with hopes of scheduling a same-day washing machine installation, after Ecoplumbers had to cancel. At the end of the day, someone from Steele’s called me back and walked me through the set up on the phone. The call saved me over $100, and now I can use the machine over the weekend. I called Tim well after hours. He answered. In a few short questions, he had identified the brand of my dryer (I wasnt sure) and diagnosed the problem. It was a simple fix and he pointed me in the right direction over the phone. What great customer service and I wasnt even a customer yet. When I have an appliance fail in the future, he will be my first call.

It was easy to schedule a service call, and Tim came on time. Very nice guy, ran my washing machine through some diagnostic tests but couldnt find the problem. Washer ran fine while he was here. Came back a couple days later when the washer was acting up again. It turns out there is a pause in the cycle that I didnt know about. Problem solved.

Tim made my life easier! I was able to get an appointment within two days, and he fixed the problem with my clothes dryer in minutes. When I used the dryer again for the first time since the repair--maybe two weeks later, it made a noise, different from before the repair, but still not right, so I turned it off right away. I called Tim, and he came out the next day. Then, it worked fine for him! He explained that something from inside the dryer like a button may have gotten caught somewhere, which Id never known to happen before, but just my luck something weird happens after I have a repair done. He gave an estimate over the phone. Arrived right on time, very professional and clean (shoe covers before entering house).I thought the drum belt was broken but he quickly saw that the belt was fine; total cost ended up being lower than original estimate. Tim was very thorough, explained everything he was doing and offered tips to help prevent issues in the future. He left the dryer running better than new (corrected an issue caused by the original installer) and left the laundry area cleaner than it was when he arrived.I will not hesitate to call Tim for future repairs.

Tim was helpful and straight forward with diagnosing the problem with our cooktop. When the parts supplier supplied the wrong replacement switch, he was apologetic even though it was not his fault. And he was very flexible in rescheduling after the correct part came in. I repair most things around the house myself, but I will definitely call them again when I need a professional.

He not only fixed the problem with my washer, but explained how the washer worked, what I should be doing to maintain it (I had no idea), and performed the routine maintenance. Called on a Sunday and tim answered. From my own diagnostics he told me probably what the issue was and the exact charge amount it will be. Sure enough he came on Tuesday with the new part in hand and explained to me how to open up the dryer if I wanted to diagnostic on my own more in the future. I have called several times this week, never get an answer. I’ve called through the entire day. Not sure what their actual service is like because I can’t get ahold of them.

Gave a 9 am appointment. No mention of a window. Made several calls between 9:30-10 am to determine whereabouts, but calls were not returned. Tried to show up about 11 am, but by that time I had booked another service.
