The repairman that was sent was nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. He answered all my questions. He wore a mask letting me know he cared about keeping himself safe as well as me. He took his time to do the job right which means he wasted no time at all. I ended up signing up for the warranty because #1 I want to do business with this company again and #2 the value made it worth it since the warranty covers all my major appliances.

My LG refrigerator compressor went out (apparently a common issue). Fortunately we have it covered through Best Buy, unfortunately Best Buy uses A&E for the repair services. It only took one day to get the technician out to look at the fridge. We were told they didnt have one of the four parts needed, but that it would be ordered. Within the week the parts had arrived, so I called to schedule the follow up appointment as instructed. The soonest appointment time was 4 days later. The following day I received an automated voice message (get used to those if you use A&E) saying that my appointment was cancelled and that I needed to reschedule... with the soonest appointment being almost 3 weeks later. I called and followed the automated options until I spoke with a customer service representative, who went ahead and scheduled the appointment for 3 weeks later, but noted that he would monitor appointment times and try to get me an earlier slot. The next day (today) I called back to see if earlier time slots had been made available, to which I was informed that my appointment had never been scheduled and that it was now an additional week on top of the original 3 weeks, until I would be able to have a technician out.I would not recommend anyone use A&E, unless you want to deal with automated messages, what I assume are outsourced call centers, and constantly dealing with cancelled and postponed appointments.

Samsung refrigerator needed repair since all refrigerated items were freezing in May. Contacted Sears and the most positive experience was how quick it got diagnosed. Then it went downhill from there. Technician ordered two parts, a motherboard and door gasket. He pointed out to me why I needed a gasket. There was a hole and section missing.Technician scheduled a repair date about a month later to ensure parts get to my house in time. I got the two parts within a week and a half. I waited until the service date. Had to take day off work. Never came. I contacted Sears and was told they were waiting on parts to arrive at my house. I was looking at both parts. There was no phone call, email, or text to cancel the scheduled appointment. I requested someone to come out immediately as we were leaving for vacation for 3 weeks. I was rejected. I asked to put in parts myself, rejected. I asked for a date scheduled for when we were back from vacation, but rejected since they could not schedule that far out. I ended up having to schedule while we were gone then reschedule again. Nonsense.Repair Technician finally arrives. This time my wife has to take off work. We are in August now. Replaces parts with ease. I go home later to find the refrigerator still does not work and the wrong gasket was ordered/replaced. Phone call to Sears was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They kept saying they could not find our order for repairs. Eventually was found and could only offer a Technician to respond weeks later. We had enough and wanted a technician to come out immediately. We were rejected and a supervisor was requested. We were told all the managers were in a meeting. We left a phone number for one to call back when meeting was finished.Waited a few hours and a manager never called. Called them back and received a different person who told us they do not have managers and there was no meeting. Clearly the last person we talked to was trying to get rid of us. We were fed up at this point. $700 into this repair, we have been waiting well over 2.5 months to get it done, still not working, and now getting ran around all over the place. We were fed up and wanted a refund. They said they would put in a refund request as well as send out an email. This was two days ago. No email, no refund, not holding my breath. Next stop, attorney.

Called in for fixing my icemaker. All I got was a 5 minute advice for $180. Advice was to defrost the icemaker for hour or two. Even after what he suggested it is still not working as I expected. Thought sears had lg licensed technicians who knows what they are doing. Should have read the reviews before calling them. Wish I could give zero stars.

My refrigerator is still not working!!! I think the motor is broken/not working!!!!! The can not come back ot until the 16th!!!!! I think that is disgusting that I have to wait SO long!!!!!The gal who came on the 16th of Ssptember was GREAT. I told her about my terrible last experience as well as having had the prevvious appointment postponed because of worker illness. I also told her I thouught the problem was with the concenser or motor. She went right to work and was able to fix it .......finally. She was amazing and I would give her 5 stars!!!!!!

Its a shame you cant give zero or negative stars! 1 star rating is way above what Sears deserves.I purchased a 5 yr maintenance plan when I purchased my LG washer & dryer with Sears 3 years ago, when they were still in retail business. I have always had my appliances maintenanced on a regular basis. This year Sears service has been horrible from calling them, to scheduling, to getting someone to show up for a scheduled appointment. It took me over 10 phone calls to get the 1st appointment scheduled which NO ONE showed up for. I was told I wasnt on the schedule even though I received an email advised me of my upcoming appointment complete with time & the day! Then I rescheduled, I was advised I would get a call 15 mins prior to my 4 hour window...no call but I get a service report emailed to me saying no one was home. I called and rescheduled again. This time I got a call 15 mins advising service was on the way. 2 men showed up & was at my house a total of 15 mins. Ive had Sears maintenance plans on my appliances for over 30 yrs...it takes at least an hour to service both my washer & dryer every visit. What did these 2 men do? Literally look at my washer & dryer? Sears actually outsources service now..in my area its a company called Protec Repair. What a joke, a hassle, and complete waste of my time. I would NOT recommend Sears for any services or maintenance; which is sad theyve let such an icon name got down the tube!!!

Extended warranty is the most frustrating experience Ive had in a long while. Horrible horrible call center. Long waits, passed around, hung up on, etc. No communication whatsoever. 8 wks to get a washer fixed. Filed a complaint with the AG in my state, it was that bad. Never again.

A&E Factory Repair is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Worst service ever. They have been to my house 4 times over the past 3 and a half months to fix a LG refrigerator, it has not worked since their first visit.LG only uses them to repair their products in the Columbus market so we have been forced to use them. First visit they said we needed a new compressor, they replaced that but it did not fix the problem. Second visit tech said that the first tech needed to order additional parts. third visit said the hose was leaking, claims to have fixed that but still did not work. Fourth visit the tech said that the hose was clogged and he can not fix the issue. He called LG who told him how to fix it. We set up another visit on January 13th which they never showed but they sent us a conformation the day before. Please keep in mind that every visit is a 3 week wait period, they never have anything sooner. So I called on the 14th to see why nobody came out, they did not assign a technician to come out, isnt that the purpose of having an appointment. They never apologized or anything, told us we had to wait until early February to set up another appointment. Talked to Honey, their so called supervisor who did not care, she was rather useless to be honest. So this company has shown us invoices for each visit charging LG for every visit but they have done nothing to actually repair the refrigerator. Each visit is a new excuse. Absolutely worst service ever! LG has not been very good in this whole experience either but at least they apologize and have made an effort to fix the issue. A&E has horrible service and is very unprofessional, I would never recommend them to anyone. It has been a nightmare not having a refrigerator for almost 4 months, especially during the holidays. They specialize in appliance repair but can not fix it in 4 visits? Do not waste your time on them.

Kent--did a great job servicing our washer and dryer. He was very through in going over both pieces. He cleaned, lubricated, and checked our appliances to make sure they were in working order. Found a couple of minor hiccups but all and all we are in good shape for another year.

Routine service on my 2013 Craftsman garden tractor. Annual service has kept this piece of equipment trouble free for seven years. So easy when Sears comes to my home and gets the job done unlike local repair shops who pick up the mower and keep it for several weeks before returning it. Ugh!

It took 3 months and multiple rescheduling with “no show “ repairmen to get our refrigerator repaired which was still under warranty . Customer representatives were not able to help and there was extremely long waits when calling for information. The technician who finally repaired our refrigerator was knowledgeable and professional and wasn’t surprised by our delayed service. I will never buy any warranty from Sear or the company who owns the repair service, Performco.

Epic fail. This is the fifth trip. Waiting 18 days on the most recent part (altogether weve been waiting almost 4 weeks for repair). He shows up today without the proper tool to do the job. Says ordering that tool will be another 3-4 day wait. This is a long time to go without air...esp with breathing problems. He is still in the driveway pounding away like Fred Flintstone. What happened to Sears?

We are highly satisfied with the repair service we received for our dryer. Our repairman was Chris. He was on time, courteous,personable, and quickly diagnosed the problem. The part he ordered came on time. When Chris returned to install the part, he was again on time, did the installation, and left the work area as neat as he found it. I would use Sears again.

I am not one who takes out the time to write reviews but Ill make an exception for Sears Appliance Repair services. If you want to know what the definition of lack of customer service or poor service is, this is the business thatll define all that for you. Scheduled an appointment on August 18 for them to come out between 8am to 12 noon today with a request that I be the first appointment since I had to leave the house at 12.30pm at the latest.I confirmed my appointment and put in my phone number to be updated by text. I never got a call or text that thered been any change. At noon I called them to inform them that it was past my appointment time and no technician had shown up. They proceeded to call the technician who tells them he was running late after 12.10pm and yet he never bothered to call.The customer service agent then apologized to me and rescheduled me for 3.30pm today when Id be back from my appointment.I was home at 3.15pm waiting. At 4.30pm the technician hadnt showed up yet again and I called back to see what was going on. I spoke to a supervisor named Michelle and all she said is you have to reschedule and the earliest date I have is August 28th (today is 19th) and theres nothing I can do about it. Mind you theyre the ones who didnt show up for confirmed appointments twice in one day yet they cant do anything about it. I will definitely never use them again and Ill make sure no one I know ever uses them again. This is definitely a business that is not accountable or trustworthy so do yourself a favor and stay away from the . They dont deserve even half a star but 1 star is the lowest Google will allow me use.

I wish I could give them a 0/5 Star. The experience I have had with Sears Home Appliance Center has been the worse customer service I have ever experienced. We scheduled a service call for our fridge (which BTW was only 6 years old and one of many appliances and thousands of dollars we have spent at Sears over the years). Service Call #1: $381 fee- Took 1/2 day off work, Tech was 6 hours late, with no phone call. Misdiagnosis and fridge still does not work. Service Call #2: $438 fee for service and part they said we needed- Fridge still doesnt work. Service Call #3: Technician says fridge cannot be repaired and apologizes for the misdiagnosis of the other 2 techs and apologizes for the 2 months this process has taken and we have lived with no fridge. Service guy #3 calls his manager from my home and we are assured we will have all of our money refunded. It has been 2 months and about 7 hours on the phone with their customer support center in the Philippines and I have still not gotten back my money. I consider my $819 gone at this point because no one will help me. A local support number in the US is non existent. I will say that I called the local Polaris Pkwy. Store and the local appliance manager there tried to help, but he spent 3 hours on the phone with the Philippines as well and got no where. This is no way to treat customers. Since this experience I had to purchase a new fridge and the Home Depot got my business. Sears has lost me as a customer.

Below average like most other appliance repair services. From the non-English speakers at the call center that you cant understand, to inability to keep appointments within the scheduled window, wrong parts ordered, no note or voicemail left after arriving outside the requested time. But - work order closed! Job well done! Give me a break. Id rather just try fixing it myself...or spending hundreds of dollars to replace an appliance than have them be responsible for repairing.

I set my appointment on line over the weekend. I received a quick confirmation of my selected date and time for the service call. I was impressed by the flexibility to work with my schedule. Once set, there were several reminders as well as a call from the service tech letting me know he was on his way. Prompt, courteous and a successful resolution to my issue. Efficient process. Absolutely would utilize again and recommend to all my friends and acquaintances!

He did a good job of inspecting the dishwasher for the annual preventive maintenance check. He removed the bottom panel of the dishwasher to check for water leaks--there were none. Arrived with toolbox in hand, the sign of a good service tech!!!!! Checked all other dishwasher mechanisms, too.

I paid over 365 $ to fix my GE Dryer. The tech said he needed to replace the dryer dial. After 1 use of the dryer, it stopped working again. I had to wait another 4 days for them to come and fix it again. Hope it works this time.

I would like to give them zero stars. The technician came out and diagnosed my washer. He said that he would have to order parts, but would call me later that day to book repairs. He did not. I called him the next day (Tuesday). He said that he could come either Thursday between 5-7pm or Friday morning between 8 am and noon. He did not show up. After calling three times and being placed on hold for over a half hour I was finally told that there never was a Thursday appointment and he might show up Friday morning. I dont know if he will or not, but I made plans during that time. I am beyond frustrated. I just want a working washing machine. By the way, that one is only 2 years old.

When our new gas range was delivered, I was very pleased with the service. I didnt find out until after they left that the front burner would not light on its own. I called customer service and they said they would send the repair people back out, but they also gave me the number to call the service department. When I called the service department, they said it would be better to send a repairman instead of the delivery crew. The repairman arrived two days later and said that he would need to order parts that would be shipped to our home and he went ahead and set up another service call for the following week. The parts came within a couple of days and a different repairman arrived to install the new parts. When he opened the parts box, it was the wrong part. He still took the time to look at the burner and quickly realized that he could use part of what arrived to make the repair. And thats what he did. Both repairmen were very polite and professional. And I definitely appreciate that the second repairman didnt just tell me that he had the wrong part and leave. He took the time to look at the problem and was able to repair the stove that day.

I waited 5 weeks for a back order washer motor before I finally had to just buy a new washer as I had the family laundry piling up. Now Im finding it impossible to advise Sears of my change in plans and need refund as I keep getting calls to schedule my repair and get no where when trying to advise I need a refund, Long hold times and transfers to wrong depts.

I was very pleased that he had the new ice maker on his truck and when there was another part that was needed he left and purchased it and was able to complete the job. Happy customer! I had to reschedule my appointment twice. I was able to do it on the Sears site easily. My technician went above and beyond to make us happy! Before quoting me the repair fee, he directed me to their website for a discount coupon. He did not have the part we needed with him and didnt want us to wait. He called all the techs in the area, found one with the part, and ran to get it to install on the same day. He was fast, friendly and didnt leave a mess!

Cannot begin to describe how fantastic this service is! There is the ease of booking an appointment online which matches my work schedule, the email and text confirmation of the appointment and the reminders, the phone call from the technician giving me a more precise time so I can plan my day accordingly, and then a text when the technician is on his way complete with a GPS system which lets me know precisely how far away he/she is. Home alliance repair is no longer inconvenient. Our technician was fantastic, fixed our dryer in a short time, and the price was fair, especially given the ease of scheduling. This is the third time we have used Sears for alliance repair and will continue to do so. Many thanks!

The repairman was courteous and professional and fixed our microwave quickly. My only issue was that the people I spoke with on the phone had all the information needed to order the part beforehand and said they would order the part ahead of sending someone out. But they sent out someone anyway and he had to order the part then come back a week later to install the broken handle. It was all covered by warranty but was just not the most efficient way to handle it

IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE I WOULD. The serve tech was outstanding, HOWEVER our appointment was scheduled for a Monday. Took day off work since I travel for work and No one showed, called CUSTOMER SERVICE, they said the parts had not arrived. They were sitting on the kitchen table as they (Customer Service) was told that information on Saturday. CUSTOMER SERVICE advised that the appointment was scheduled for Tuesday. Tuesday comes and goes, no service tech. Call CUSTOMER SERVICE again...Oh, the appointment was made for Friday. Who made that appointment....nothing from CUSTOMER SERVICE, then they advised I made the appointment. So why would I make an appointment then sit at home all day and wait for them. CUSTOMER SERVICE is outsourced to Indian. When demanded for a service tech, they keep saying the appointment is for Friday. If I did not have a warranty I would have canceled.NEVER WILL I BUY ANOTHER APPLIANCE FROM SEARS. THEY SAVE A BUCK BY OUTSOURCING AND LOST A SALE. I WILL MADE SURE I TELL EVERYONE HOW GREAT SEARS CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TO DEAL WITH.

Service technician was prompt, courteous and professional. Took care not to scratch the floor when he pulled our refrigerator out to work on it. He troubleshot problem with my ice maker, ordered the part he needed to fix it, had it delivered, and replaced it. My ice maker is working again, and my wife is happy - Happy Wife, Happy Life.

The first tech called and gave me a much shorter window of arrival, which was much appreciated as I didnt have to sit home all day waiting for him to arrive. He was very friendly and knowledgeable - found the problem immediately, and ordered the part. The second tech also shortened the arrival window (thanks again), installed the replacement part, and noticed that the drain hose had been installed incorrectly by the installers, and he also fixed that. Washer is up and running perfectly - and draining better. Overall, a very positive experience.

Right now I am totally disappointed with Sears Repair and would give them zero stars if I could. I called on Sunday, July 24, for help with a broken heat pump. A repair person came promptly (I will them credit for a quick response) on Monday, installed a new capacitor and left. My house did not cool down; by Wednesday it was obvious that there was a bigger problem that had not been addressed when the service man was here on Monday. Both the outside unit and the unit in my basement were covered with ice and were not producing any cool air. I called again on Wednesday for a repairman. He came on Friday and told us he would try to locate some parts. Here it is Sunday afternoon, and we still have not heard if or when the parts will be available. The person who answers the 800 number looked up our case and said it would probably be August 11 before they know anything. She told me they have forty vendors and they have to check with each one. My goodness, cant they just enter the part number into the computer and find out if that part is available and where it is? My heat pump is covered under an extended Master Plan service agreement and has been for years. If the parts needed to fix it are not available, Sears should be out here installing a new one. If I sound grumpy, it is because I am living in an uncomfortably hot house and am tired of dealing with Sears customer representatives. I have a house full of Kenmore Elite appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer dryer, heat pump, humidifier), but right now, I would NOT recommend buying any appliance from Sears and would definitely not recommend spending the money for an extended service plan until they get more efficient in repairing or replacing what I already own.

I will never call Sears Appliance Repair again. They scheduled me for an appointment on Thursday only to email the next day and ask me to call to reschedule my appointment. When I called, I was told my appointment date was no longer available, and I would have to wait until next week. During the entire conversation they kept referring to the wrong date saying tomorrow (which would be Tuesday) and my appointment was scheduled for Thursday. Completely unprofessional! I even asked to speak to a manager and dont feel like I ever spoke to anyone in a supervising role. I would rather pay for a new dryer than give this company my business!

Service Technician was extremely knowledgeable about our LG Front-Loader Washing Machine. He quickly ran a complete diagnostics check and found the problem to be the Drain Pump. He replaced this part, then check all the other parts of the machine, to make sure everything was in proper working order. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the machine and how methodical/thorough he was in checking every component. It would be wonderful if all Service Technician could match his knowledge and skill!Bob Bien

My tech was great. He called ahead of time when he was on his way, he was on-time, he was nice and courteous. He gave me his honest opinion about the diagnosis.My issue was with the disconnect between the online chat team and the tech who came to the house. When I first contacted Sears via their online chat support, I was told that there was a $115 diagnostic fee (for the tech to come out). That fee would be waived if I went forwarded with scheduling a repair. However, when my tech called to say he was on his way, he specifically told me that if I proceeded with a repair, it would include three charges: the parts, the labor and the $115 diagnostic fee. He told me that he always tells this to customers on the phone when he is on the way to an appointment because some people dont want to pay the diagnostic fee if they are not certain they are going with Sears for repair. He said that he sometimes gets hung up on because of this policy (and then doesnt come out for the service call). I told him that the Sears rep on chat told me it would be waived if I proceeded with repair and he said htat was not the policy.I thought that maybe I misunderstood the first rep on chat, so I went back onto the Sears website and chatted with another rep who told me the SAME POLICY - that the fee would be waived if the customer proceeded with scheduling a repair.Apparently there is a huge disconnect or miscommunication going on internally. I was not trying to get out of paying the diagnostic fee as I had fully intended to use Sears for the repair, but they should NOT being telling potential customers that a large fee will be waived, if that is not actually the case...

I was not happy with the first technician who came out. The drier worked right away for him though it hadnt worked for me. He was not interested in my explanation of how it functioned before it stopped working and did not do any diagnostics. Instead he jumped to the conclusion that it needed a new circuit board, which was nearly $400 dollars. I did not feel good about that, since the drier was now working. Fortunately he is not the person who came back to install it several weeks later. I am rating our experience a 4 only because the woman who came to install the new board listened to me, agreed that if the drier had worked fine for two weeks it probably didnt need a new board. She did some diagnostics and assessed the area where the drier was set up and determined the problem was excess moisture from the damp basement. We have moved the drier farther from the wall, installed a solid vent, and do our best not to run it on rainy days. The technician returned the board and put in for a refund for us. I felt much better about the whole thing, and now I know how to keep our drier working well.

Scheduled an appointment last week for today. After taking off work to be home for the 4 hour window I received a call by Sears canceling the appointment and asking to reschedule the appointment in 7 days! Its my washing machine. I politely asked so you are telling me to cancel the appointment that I took time from work and reschedule it for another 7 days from today and pay your full price for a job well done....NO THANKS! never again will I call Sears.

We described the problem that we were having with our clothes washer. The repairman came out and said yes there is a problem and replaced a computer part for $300 +. I dont think that he diagnosed the part, only the codes that said the washer wasnt getting enough water, which wasnt true. He ordered and replaced the part. Immediately after the same problem occurred. He came out again and replaced another part, which directed the water. It turns out that that was the problem. This part was only about $35. + $80 for the service call. He did not charge for the part or the service call for the second call. My problem is that I do not think that the first part he replaced (the expensive part) was the first one he replaced, not looking further into the problem. He should have looked into the fact that the codes said that the water wasnt getting through, which the second part was for.

Worst experinace with customer service. Had an appointment for a rental. Tech shows up and demands money from renter after it is already paid. They use third part repair people. After called Sears and transfered 3 times tech speeds away and almost hits someone.

Our Samsung dishwasher has turned out to be a pretty bad investment. Nonetheless, your guy came out, replaced the faulty board and, as importantly, reinstalled the d/w back under the counter more solidly than it was installed before. This was all done efficiently and quickly as possible. The d/w might even be cleaning very dirty items more completely at this point. So call me a happy, satisfied customer.

After my daughter called back when I had waited 10 hrs for your tech to show up and without out a call was rescheduled for the following week, she talked to Matt a supervisor who promptly scheduled a technician to come the very next day.!!!!!! Repairman was quick and efficient. REpair is working great and I couldnt be happier with the work he did. Only negative was when I made the appointment the only said the repairman would arrive between 8-5. He called at 8:30 saying he would be there between 1-3 pm. Since I took the day off I was able to get some stuff done, but I wish they could have narrowed it down a bit for me before the day of service.

I had an initial diagnostic service call requiring ordering parts. I was pleasantly surprised that the repairman at this call was able to look up our warranty and get all parts covered. The parts were delivered to us for the actual repair. I was disappointed that the second service call was filled by a different repair agent. The problem was documented on our receipt by the first serviceman but at the second repair call the repairman diagnosed a completely different problem that required ordering parts that needed to be ordered again and another service call made. The only offered times were in the middle of the week or a month from this call, rather inconvenient especially with service windows ranging from 8a-5pm. At the 3rd service call we got the original repair man and he took great initiative in contacting the second repairman and found out that he never did diagnostics to accurately diagnose the problem he stated it was for the parts he ordered that were not under warranty. The first repairman put the parts into the machine that he ordered and also ran the appropriate diagnostics on the second repairmans service call--finding that there were no problems with this part. I wish that Sears would have approved the initial diagnostic serviceman to come back for the repair. We would have accommodated that scheduling but to wait a month for a repair that was poorly communicated between repair calls made it a really inconvenient service. I am curious if going with a smaller mom & pop type place if communication would be more streamlined or if wait times would be better communicated to the client.

Was VERY upset that the repair person did NOT wear a mask, did NOT wear foot protection, and since he already had gloves on, lord knows how long and how many homes he had these on for prior. The repairman for the dishwasher was great, fast and repaired it correctly ( but we did have to order parts and schedule a 2nd full day away from work).Two reasons for only 3 stars have to do with scheduling and communication with the call center. The first is the window of 8am to 5pm -- a full day away from work! On the day of service you are notified of a smaller window, but that is too late -- why not actually schedule those smaller windows the day before? Other service providers can do so, so why cant Sears?Second: I called the call center the evening before the appointment because something had come up at work so that I couldnt be home for the service call between 8am to 1030am. They told me, no problem, they would let the technician know to make my job later in the day -- instead of rescheduling to another day. The next morning I saw that the call was scheduled for the very 2 hours that I couldnt be there. I called the call center at 7:25am and sat on hold,waiting for the call to be picked up, until 8:05 when I had to leave without ever reaching anyone. Of course the technician came at 8:45. When I returned home, I called in and was told that I would have to reschedule (and stay home from work again) the following week. Three calls later I finally reached someone who would call the tech to see if he would come back that day, which he could and did. He completed the repair in 15 minutes!By the way, the confirmatory email states that appointments can be rescheduled via the website. They can NOT. You can only see when it is scheduled and must call to make any change.

Told no washer, a voucher for $ to go and buy another washer. Why not told this at once? I wont go into buying replacement washer here; it was a one star experience. Worst service company in a long while. I told a half day of vacation from work to meet them for repair. They cancelled last minute. I couldnt take my vacation time back. When I complained, they gave me a coupon for parts, but told me it would be ok for the service call upcoming that they rescheduled. When they arrived, they wouldnt honor it. Then told me the repair didnt need to be done there was nothing wrong. Paid $99. Now it still doesnt work. Simultaneously I ordered a replacement drawer for the fridge. First one arrived damaged as Sears didnt even pack it properly. I asked for the replacement to be sent and packed better. It did arrive, but had the same lack of packing. It was just fortuitous that it wasnt damaged again. Oh and that parts coupon? No...not for that either. Not customer focused.

I was having the annual maintenance done on 4 Kenmore Elite appliances. They sent me over a dozen emails and 3 phone calls reminding me of the upcoming appt, which I didnt need. But on the day of the appt, the tech shows up without letting me know he was on his way, which is what they said would happen and was the one contact I did need/want. Then after the appt I got at least a dozen more useless emails from them. On top of that it was very apparent the tech didnt like his job and he didnt do as good a job as other techs have done in the past. The whole experience was very frustrating. Sears use to be a name you could depend on for quality, it is sad to see it go down hill like this.

The only reason not a one star is due to experience when the repair techs came. They were pleasant and efficient. I scheduled online. The tech showed up and had to order a part for one problem other problem he fixed. Part needed supposed to be sent to me. I rescheduled for the next week. Part did not show up. I cxl the appt which took several calls because no part. A tech still tried to come and I talked to a supervisor again on why I cxl. I tried to reschedule but was told Sears could only reschedule to a certain date. Told all callers I would reschedule when I could. Got several calls to reschedule and explained to all I needed a later date. Got back in town still no part. Called Sears online who told me i had to coordinate with UPS to find out where the part was. Part was already paid for. UPS online even more fun than Sears online. Several calls later identified part had been returned to Sears. Aha moment - asked what address on delivery. UPS told me could not say due to security. I told them let me tell you my address and you can tell me if it matches. It did not. So after I figured out issue for both service companies, I let sears know right address to order and rescheduled. Got numerous calls and texts reminding me on the part shipment and appt. Part showed up. Tech showed up with no history and had to show him estimate i had signed and initial payment that had cleared the bank. Appliance fixed. Of note last time I had an appliance fixed before using Sears - I called, scheduled, one reminder, tech came and fixed w part from van. Recommend Sears try that. Sears mgt - do not call, email or text me with explanations as my 20+ interactions with you were enough.

The Sears Service representative arrived within the time window. He knew instantly what was wrong regarding the temperature of my refrigerator and was able to help me resolve the issue. He diagnosed the other problem with my ice maker and fixed that and then he replaced my water filter and also showed me how to replace the water filter. He even sold me an extra water filter. The Sears Rep. Was very friendly and very knowledgable.. I had a great experience with Sears.

This is the third time in three weeks to fix it. The repair guys that came said the first guy didnt know what he was talking about; which is what the second guy said. They have ordered three different parts. This is the fifth time I have had this washer fixed and there is a recall. I have three small children. I wish someone would just replace it!Update - another day, another repair. Its now eight times with the same washer. This time, I am still waiting on a part eleven days after the most recent repair. Still not fixed!

Scheduling is a nightmare. Two hour window can only be given day of and it changed three times over the course of the day. The technician was helpful and friendly. The problem is not personnel. Sears needs to realize that the customer should not be required to be flexible around the corporations schedule. No weekend or evenings appointments are available. Very disappointed.
