I moved to this apartment complex in May 2020. The whole process was very smooth and not complicated at all, and everyone I spoke to and that got the process going were very friendly. Whenever there’s been a need for maintenance they’re quick to respond and get things taken care of. That goes for things within the apartment as well as any complex-wide problems like if a car covering needs repair or what have you.For me the location is great too. You have plenty of grocery stores to choose from, all kinds of restaurants, area seems pretty safe. Quick access to the 101, and the 202 over here are pretty close. Dobson and Ray themselves are widely used roads. I rarely hear anything outside or my neighbors unless there’s something very obvious like a motorcycle or someone jumping around. Very dog friendly! They originally had a basketball court (or maybe it was tennis court) but was rarely used so they converted it into a little dog park area. Being next to the little lake is nice too, which has a walkway connecting to the stores across it. There is access to the complex from Andersen Blvd too.Place is very well maintained with landscapers coming every Thursday, and trash pick up on a regular basis.

Ive lived here over a year and have transferred from a smaller apartment to a larger one. The apartments are well taken care of and they are in various stages of renovation so they feel current and not super dated. One of the most important things for me is that I cannot hear my neighbors. Ive been in a downstairs unit and am now in an upstairs unit and Im never disturbed by noise from above or below. My other favorite part is the location. So close to Sprouts, Coffee Rush and all the good places just a quick walk away. Ive made friends with many of the neighbors and its nice to have people to hang out with at the pool. And of course the staff, both office and maintenance, have been great and responsive.

Recently visited my daughter who lives here and spent many days at the pool. Nice view of the lake, clean and well taken care of. The team is wonderful, always friendly. My daughter loves living at these apartments.

Lakeside has the best management team I have ever seen. All issues are immediately resolved and the maintenance department is superior. Lakeside is a great location and a well maintained property.

I have been searching for a new apartment and have been calling a lot of places. I assume that no one is calling me back because they dont have anything to rent but a very nice lady from this complex called me back right away. I am so appreciative of her help.

Nice community with a beautiful lake to enjoy. Lots of improvements being made like patio railings and a huge dog park.

I visited a family member that lives at Lakeside and I had the best time! The gym and pool/jacuzzi are open all day! The pool is heated and you can see the lake! There’s a lot of grass and trees which made her apartment feel more like a home! The office staff (Bree and Dee Dee) who helped us were also very friendly and made us feel like family! I love coming to visit!

Beautiful property! But I have one or 2 complaints. Leasing office took over 1 week and a half to get application approved. Lacked proper industry standards of follow thru and personability. Definitely fealt that there were some adjustments that could be made for this property. I am a here to leave this review to enhance the professional experience not to bash. Wishing love and light. I moved here (Lakeside Village) roughly 1.5 years ago. I still remember my first visit with the office staff upon inquiring. I was more than pleasantly surprised by their sincere professionality, kindness and accommodation. Same said for maintenance and everyone else Ive come into contact with employed here. Really, theyre all a breath of fresh air! You couldnt find a better team!The property is always well kept, beautifully maintained and any concerns you may have are addressed and resolved quickly. My apartment was perfect, professionally cleaned etc. moving in. Ive also found my fellow residents all around me are respectful, kind and fun to chat with! (If you have dogs, theres no better place than here)Lastly, Ill say in confidence, if youre looking for a place to live where you may be looking for a sense of community, privacy, comfort and strive to truly trust office staff/management, maintenance etc. Lakeside Village is the place for you. It has been for me, not a single regret! Its really a good feeling to work a long day and come back feeling like Im HOME. Nothing like it!

Ive been staying here since June, and I can say this is one of the nicer apartments in the area. Having the lake with seating around it, is just the perfect place to relax and read a book in the morning. Everyone in the office are amazing. The manger DeDe and the rest of the ladies including inside the office are very professional and on top of any questions that I ask.Coryn is one of the best at getting answers and the information that I need fast.I would recommend these apartments for anyone looking for something in the Chandler area.

I travel for work often times on long term assignments. My assignment in Chandler fell somewhere in between short and long term. I was looking for an apartment complex that was willing to provide a short term (4 month) lease which is usually pretty difficult. Luckily I found Lakeside Apartments in Chandler. Everything about the process was fantastic, particularly given the pandemic situation.In particular, Bree, the Assistant Community Manager went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. It was a bit daunting to pull the trigger on an apartment, sight unseen, and coming from another state. Bree took the time to answer questions via several emails and phone calls always replying in a timely manner. Bree even went so far as to take pictures of the actual unit that was being offered.The move in was smooth and trouble free. While an older complex, the unit was clean and functioning from day one. Bree even took the time out to visit the unit later on the day I moved in to make sure everything was going well and address any concerns I may have had.Other than a couple of minor issues (window screen needed to be replaced and the sliding screen door latch needed attention) things were perfect. The maintenance staff was extremely responsive and neat. Other than the repairs being made I would have never known they were there.The complex is undergoing some extensive renovation (not that there was much wrong besides the usual signs of aging). It was easy to see how much the “facelift” is already improving the overall aesthetic of the facility. The complex has two pools and at least one hot tub which are clearly well maintained as evidenced by the relaxing leisure tone the common areas convey.Easily one of the most trouble free and pleasant experiences with an apartment rental I’ve experienced!

My first two months living here has been nothing but amazing. The area is nice and the apartment is close to pretty much everything you need. The 3 ladies in the office are incredible especially the manager Dee Dee. They are all willing to help with anything that is needed.Definitely 5 stars, and I would recommend to others.

I no longer live at Lakeside but if youre looking for a comfortable apartment thats close to local grocery stores, banks, nail salons, coffee shops, bars, etc. Dont hesitate to pick Lakeside. The Lakeside management team does their very best to keep the grounds looking as clean as can be, are quick with work orders, always communicate with you and are currently performing community renovations. Having an apartment at Lakeside will be so comfortable and cozy as long as you make it yours! :)

Weve been living here since December 2019 and its been great. The area is pretty quiet and calm and to have two grocery stores in walking distance is great. Management and maintenance are professional and always stay on top of everything. Anytime time I had a maintenance request it would usually be handled within the next 24-48 hrs. I never had any issues with neighbors here in regards to noise. Never once had an issue with roaches and I know thats a common problem in most apartments today. The apartment itself is great, however, my only complaint is that theres not a lot of storage space. Only reasons well be moving out will be because we desire a bigger space and some of the layouts here were a bit out of our price range. Other than that I definitely recommend living here. They make the move in process very easy.

I have lived at Lakeside for 4 years and it is a great location, but is going down hill! To begin the units are very dated. The cabinets fall apart and the paint they use comes off after a few months. There are bug issues which they offer to spray if you ask, but it does nothing to prevent the ants! The tennis court is cracked and the basket ball rim is missing and has not been replaced. The issues where over looked at the beginning because rent was $960. Each year I lived there rent was increased to the max. Now at over $1300. Its not worth the value. I just moved out and they charged me for a stove because it looked like water boiled over they said! When I moved in this stove had to be 10 years old! The AC runs in the summer and will not cool below 80! If you leave you Must have a 60 day notice or you will be charged 1775 a month or prorated my the day inside of 60 days! I liked the grounds and the maintenance guys are good! Just think they are struggling to rent their units and cut corners and put unnecessary cost on tenants.

Lived here for almost 3 years. Was my first place on my own and it was a pleasant experience. Office staff is friendly and willing to do what they can to help. Maintenance requests were worked on quickly. The grounds are kept clean and worked on weekly. The time I was there, I never had issues with my neighbors or loud noises. Staff even have events for residents and have food trucks on occasion. I definitely recommend Lakeside. Thanks Lakeside staff for making my first apartment experience a pleasant one.

Buzzing sound in room all night every night. Dont think this will happen to you? Think again. Every apartment building has an electrical unit on the building that likely also causes this. Loud buzzing 8pm-7am 365 days a year. Ive lived here 2 months and have relayed the info to the office multiple times. Nothing has been solved.

I’ve lived here for 3 years. Why do i renew my lease? The staff! DeeDee, Bree, James, Felix, Anthony, all amazing, genuine, caring people that treat you like family! Maintenance issues have always been addressed SAME DAY, the neighborhood is safe, quiet, and the location is prime. Very happy & thankful to be a part of this community!

You will not regret living here one bit! Everything is an A+ in my book- super friendly and helpful office staff, timely maintenance service, frequent community events, and nearly immaculate grounds. I’ve been very impressed since day 1!

This is the nicest apartment community I’ve ever been a part of! Bree, DeeDee and Dwayne are all AMAZING people with super warm and friendly personalities. Just fantastic and genuine people which results in great customer service. The community is very clean and well maintained, for the money you can’t find a better place to live in Chandler. 10/10!

Very nice location for the price of a one bedroom. Everything I needed is in the area close by. Quiet area, friendly neighbors and staff is very professional and helpful.

I’ve read reviews about apartment managers not being upfront about everything on the lease, cosmetic issues in apartments, hidden mold, etc - didn’t happen here at all. Apartments are clean, work orders are responded to pretty much immediately, and management is very personable and honest. I only had to get a work order for a light that was out and they fixed it in the next 24 hours. All management is great, but Bree helped us out most, so I really appreciate her efforts.My apartment is right next to the lake, so monsoon season has been awesome. No other apts in the valley beat a lake view with a good view of a lightning storm

Living at Lakeside Couldnt be better! The Lakeside staff is truly amazing and focuses on the tenants needs every time. I recommend Lakeside to anyone who enjoys a great lake view and a staff that is caring, responsible and focuses mainly on their tenants priorities!

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone. The only peaceful thing about this place is the lake. The front desk associates have not been very helpful since I’ve lived here. However, I’m not living here permanently, my lease is only short term. So if you are only looking for a short term, this is the place to go!

Ive had an excellent experience here during my year lease, only reason Ill be going elsewhere is because of needing to be close to my school; even then Im very hesitant to move! Would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apt.

The complex had a Murder Suicide on Memorial day 2018! The staff refused to let us know if we were in any danger and never notified us about this. The police tend to be in the complex an average of once a month or more.I heard from other neighbors they dont feel safe as the complex is wide open and people walking around the complex after dark. I have stopped people who seem to be looking onto our open patios. I have had 2 bikes stolen from my Patio! Each bike was locked and the chain cut by bolt cutters! Not a safe complex foe the amount of rent we pay.

I have lived at Lakeside for almost a year and a half, and we have no complaints at all. Since we have moved into Lakeside They have repainted the entire complex, remodeled and every week their landscapers do a great job. We moved from a larger complex that was very noisy and had children running around tearing things up. It is very quiet and peaceful, and most of the neighbors are friendly. We have only lived in Arizona for about nine years, and out of all the apartment complexes we have lived in, Lakeside is very economical for Chandler. After the Storm of the century hit Chandler on the 9/8/14, we were displaced, which for anyone can be very stressful. But manager, Traci, was very understanding to our needs, and help us through this terrible situation. If it wasnt for her we would probably be living in another community. Lakeside is a great community that we are proud to call our HOME.

Ive lived here for over a year. The price is good and the office is courteous and gets things done. The property is well maintained landscape-wise. The paint job is horrible. The appliances, bathroom fixtures and the doors are old, ugly and outdated. Not a horrible place to live if youre looking to save money but dont have high expectations.

This property is F***ing amazing! Seriously. First off, the location is fantastic. Its located right off a well maintained lake and jogging path and only a walk to the best coffee shop in Chandler, Coffee Rush! Theres also some other restaurants in the plaza and grocery shopping as well. Then, to top it off theres easy access to the 101 so you can get anywhere pretty quick.The apartments themselves are well done as well! Huuuuge patios, W/D in the unit, and ceiling fans which is a must in AZ. The maintenance staff does an extremely great job at responding to work orders! They are super friendly which is nice.In fact, the whole staff is extremely friendly!! Like easily some of the coolest staff Ive come across! At the time of writing this theres Didi (or dede ...? =/) as the property manager. She has done an amazing job of creating a friendly, relaxing, fun culture at this property. I dont know where she learned it though she knows how to run a property and lead a great team! The leasing staff right now is Dwayne and Bree and those two are always a delight to work with. Extremely helpful with anything though super down to earth and friendly. When you sign a lease for a year you want to make sure youre in great hands and have pleasant interactions with the staff. Youll definitely find that here. They care about their work and it shows through in their service. The gym is kinda small and the prices may be a bit higher than others though you just cant compete with this staff. Nothing but nice things to say about Didi, Dwayne, and Bree!

Front office/staff amazingly nice. Apartment has a few complications since moving in which they are attentive to.Not a very quiet place to live. Sitting in my bedroom and living room, I can hear neighbors from another building having sex, domestic disputes, etc. (no.. its not the ones directly next door). Thin walls to be able to hear them in my place with the windows closed etc.Neighbors have had domestic disputes and caused disruption of the peace and loud disturbances and odd hours of the night. If you have a family I would recommend looking elsewhere for the perfect environment. Cops have been here a few times as well.

Do not rent from these slumlords.I have contacted corporate 3 times about where the over 800$ of overpayments have gone and harassment from the staff. To have the complaints passed off to the local staff who is creating the problem in the first place. Mystery charges appear on your bill and rent is never the same and over payments are kept. Two weeks after move in we had water flording down the walls after complaining about mildew smell upon move in. They admitted to a washer upstairs flooding but sill wont repair any insulation. Any complaints are meet with retaliation in the form of mystery charges and other harrasment.

Dont move to this place! Office staff lies on a constant basis and randomly shows up looking in Windows and bushes by your rental space. This place WILL cheat you in every way they can lead by Deede and Bre. Bre will show up and act like she is not spying on you even when you have witnesses that have spotted her doing so. This place is not even worth a look at unless you like being stolen from lied to and like finding random bullet shells laying around the grounds. This place NEEDS a whole new management staff altogether!!

The apartments have a good location, they are quiet for the most part and the staff (Both maintanence and the office) are good people. But... These apartments are way, WAY over priced.

This appeared to be a nice place to live however after moving in I had problems with ants and the pipes leaking in the apartment and the management is awful. They have false advertisement on their website regarding free movies and paddleboats. I decided to move and gave two months notice. I turned in the keys to the office and provided my new address where I later received a bill for $2,121.72. They billed me for attorney fees, late fees, carpet cleaning, door replacements which two of them were already previously damaged when I moved in. They put drywall mud over them and painted them and now I have to pay for damaged doors when they were already that way. I did accept my responsibility for one of the doors that was damaged during our stay however cannot believe this place puts everything they possibly can on the tenant. Not to mention they tried to charge me for Keys & lock changes since they did not document I returned the keys. Finally they realized their error and removed that charge. They kept my deposit of $400.00 pIus I made a payment of $1,476.00 in March. I sent final payment today of $455.19 and was told I was sent to collections. I wish I would have had reviews to go by to avoid this unpleasant and costly experience with the rude management at Lakeside. Just beware hopefully you can avoid being overcharged for an outdated apartment nearby a pond filled with animal droppings and even worse dealing with so called management at Lakeside.

Edit: Owners reply below is a bit of a lie. Chandler police were here and did take the homeless man away.The staff is very nice but the rest of the complex is not worth the prices here. The complex isnt terrible but for the price you expect a lot more. 1000+Ive had countless small issues at this place. First, my apartment was on delayed move-in and wasnt notified until the day of, causing me to stay at a hotel with my whole house in a move-in truck.-ApartmentUpon move-in, the apartment was not ready. Blinds taped onto the existing fixtures, dirty appliances, mis-matching paint, patio deck boards had water damage and the bathroom and kitchen sink fittings were completely loose causing water to leak all over my stuff.A/C system leaked through my ceiling and had to have all new drywall put in. The Carpet is so worn down that the tack strips have broken through multiple times leading me to step on them and get stabbed in the feet. The dishwasher had mold in the filter causing my dishes to smell terrible. Cabinet hinge screws were installed poorly and are stripped. Cabinets also smell like someone sprayed a strong chemical in them causing a bad odor. Painted over on old appliances to make them look new. Screen door doesnt even fit the door properly. Windows are probably older than me and cause the A/C-Heat system to run frequently, also the door has terrible gaps.Even my internet had issues here. Cox wanted to install my new router setup but had so much trouble because one of the maintenance guys decided to fill the cable box with a spray insulator because of a previous whole in the wall.-LocationGood to have most things in proximity. If you have an apartment on the west side of the complex-closest to Dobson, you will have a lot of traffic noise coming into your house.Youre on the back side of sprouts- which is nice to shop there, but being on this side of the lake you will see the homeless that live behind there a lot.Sometimes the homeless people even come to apartment complex to hangout. I came home from work the other night and a drugged out homeless guy was sleeping in between 2 apartment doors.There is a nice bar on the other side of the lake, but youll probably get annoyed by drunk people singing Happy Bday every night.Very small gym with little equipment, kinda like hotel gym.Again the staff is really nice, Ive never had a problem with contacting them or getting small things fixed, but the most disappointing part is that there was no upkeep.Neighbors are nice and or keep to themselves but, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything.
