Things have improved after last manager Peggy what’s-her-name left. But it’s still not worth the ridiculously high rent. The rooms are small too. They penalize pet owners with “pet rent” ,as if pets have their own income ??? It’s just another method of sucking money out of you and it’s anti-pet. The pet deposit is really all they need. Makes it more difficult to adopt pets who need homes. Disgusting.

Was initially put on the waiting list for a garage months ago, there was 2 people in line, in front of me. Never got the call to say your garage is now available. Come to find out, I was never on the list. Finally after confirming there was a list and that I was on it, I waited. Finally they told me, my garage would be ready on the 12th. The 12th came around, now it wont be ready till 16th. The 16th comes around, it wont be ready till the 18th or 19th. I finally get my garage key on the 19th, the remote does NOT work, return remote to office to swap, uhh the lead tech is not in till next week. What an experience!

Love my place. My cat enjoys the hummingbirds and the beautiful lush yard. I appreciate how well maintained it is. Well managed property means you always have your parking spot and the grounds are manicured. I love the nightly valet for trash. It is a friendly property yet tenants have good boundaries. I made a good choice that was not easy moving from a house to an apartment.

Resort style luxury living at its best! I have been here for almost a year and I absolutely love this community. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The pool is huge and actually I believe its the largest apt pool in Chandler! It truly makes you feel like you are on a vacation resort! The office staff is wonderful, especially Liz! And the maintenance staff is great too. They are always very polite & professional and always take care of anything needed. I plan on staying here for quite a while.

Excellent apartment complex. Great management and timely responses to maintenance requests. Community portal makes payment and communication with neighbors a breeze. Amazing pool and weight room--both open 24 hours. Love it here!

Ive lived here a long time and have never seen the grounds looking as bad as they do now. Depressing.Huge sections of the property are way overgrown. I understand the landscapers rotate their work in sections. But this is ridiculous. Many areas look as if they havent been taken care of in months. Plants way overgrown. Many plants half-dead. Nasty ! Like I cant remember the grounds ever looking so pathetic.San Palacio has defintely gone downhill. Residents pay a lot to live here, and this is how it goes ?

Very nice and helpful staff. Nice neighborhood. Beautiful apartment complex. Close to everything from gas station to pharmacy to great restaurants. But....But....the building structure and the roofing are terrible. Every noise made by the neighbours can be heard below. The walls / building shake frequently. It is impossible to live here peacefully unless maybe if you are on the top floor. I wake up frequently early in the morning due to non-stop and super loud stomping on the floor from people upstairs.

Mark Taylor decided no one gets maintenance service unless its an emergency.You pay a lot for your apartment and keep Mark Taylor in the money but not get any service for the money, they say due to Covid. Despite the fact that many businesses alll over the state are operating and doing their jobs with the public, Mark Taylor wont do theirs. They could have renters wait outside their apartments during maintenance. They could require masks and to distance 6 feet or more too. But nah, theyll just deny you service altogether.Until some undetermined time in the future.Meanwhile air quality in your apartment will be unhealthy unless you can manage the difficult job yourself of swapping out AC filters that are located up in the ceiling and deal with heavy ceiling doors that open down toward your head and are difficult to re-fasten shut.Plus any other problems you have will go unattended, as they have been, unless theyre on the short emergency list. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Residents shouldnt have to listen to hours of landscaping noise on the weekend.

Landscapers noise going on for a few days in a row. 5:00 PM now and and still hasnt stopped for the day.

I lived here for two years, and have never had a single complaint. The common grounds are clean, the neighbors are all super sweet, and the front office staff goes above and beyond to build a sense of community with everyone. The resident events are top notch, and the amenities can’t be beat. Best community I’ve lived in in the past 10 years of renting, hands down.

We love this apartment. The people in the office are so wonderful, and the apartments are so lovely and well maintained.The gym is quiet and very clean, but our favorite amenity is the pool area. It is nicer than most 4 star hotels in town.Our grandsons love it and so do we.

These apartments are awesome. I love having all the amenities on site but my favorite is probably the massive pool, plenty of space so it never feels too crowded! Everyone in the office is so friendly and helpful, it is a great place to call home!

I cannot understand some of these bad reviews. This place is awesome! My husband and I moved here a month ago after selling our home and we are in the process of building a new one so we need a place to live for 6 to 7 months. Everyone in the office is very nice and professional. Anytime weve had a question, they always have an answer and never pass you around. Staff is very well trained in all aspects of their job. The community is clean and everyone is very friendly. I think that some people expect everything handed to them and when they have to actually do some of the errands to close a contract or open one with an apartment community they feel like the staff is unprofessional. This is so wrong. It is a joint effort between you as a tenant and the office staff. As long as the staff provides all the tools you need to get things done, which this staff does then you should have no complains. We are very happy we chose San Palacio and will make sure to tell any of my friends that need to find a good place to live

I have lived at San Palacio for 7 years and love it here! The staff is extremely attentive, the grounds are beautiful, and the amenities are enjoyable! The pool has a resort style feel and is open 24 hours. Ive lived in Arizona for almost 17 years and this has by far been my favorite place to call home!

I stayed here while I was moving into a new place and had a great stay! The rental 2 bedroom had everything I needed to stay there for the week. The team really thought of everything. We will most likely be using this property for our out of town guests in the future since we live a block away and gives our guests privacy with more comfortability than a hotel.

Theyll drive you up a wall on weekends with noise from leaf blowers and so on. Ignorant.

What I enjoyed most about MT was the atmosphere, and being able to live (actually LIVE) amongst people of all sorts of backgrounds. The apartments definitely have a luxury feel to them, youre certainly getting what you pay for. The staff is very nice (we were on a first name basis within a month). I toured with Sandi, she helped me pick and choose which floor plan was suited best for me. Id recommend any MT apartment, and I hope your experience is as good as mine or better!Peace

We lived here for 3 months and this was our 1st experience of AZ/Phoenix since we moved from Seattle. Taryn was very helpful and thorough, even as we planned things remotely before the move. We happened to get a great ground floor unit that was close to everything. Taryn, Mary, & all the staff we encountered were very attentive & professional. Upon move-in we did have an issue with the toilet that was running on its own, and it took a few calls from maintenance, but they remedied it, eventually they just replaced the whole thing. The move-out/deposit was zero issue. Sometimes rental places are a racket in terms of trying to keep as much as the deposit, but they were pretty easy-going. Maybe it helped that the fixtures were a little dirty on move-in (just hard water deposits), and we left them in better shape than when we moved in, but I dont think so-I think they were just normal and professional about move-out. They had a couple events for the kids when we were there, which was nice as well. A very pleasurable 1st experience living in AZ! Thank you San Palacio!

My first exposure to San Palacio was through my partner about 7 months ago when she moved in. I was wowed! I couldnt believe all the great amenities and her great apartment for such a reasonable price for the area. I have since moved in as well and it is awesome. The staff is SO friendly, the dog park is a great bonus, the pool is awesome, the kids park is great. Its like living at a resort!

Great place! Clean and very well maintained. They offer wood floor upgrades and granite counter tops, which we love. The apartments are very well insulated, we never hear noise from outside (unless windows are open). Its a large place but actually very quiet. I think most residents are professionals, which is a real bonus. The staff is fantastic and responds immediatley. Parking is easy, with plenty of extra spots.

Pricey and the getting worse customer care! My girlfriend has been here since 2016 and has got huge rate hikes Everytime she reviews the lease. The facilities and the ground are well maintained. There is no garage near to every block. And yeah the management isnt helpful. The manager does not care about feedback and only works to please the future residents.

I must say my living experience** here has been nothing short of excellent. Putting in a word for the office staff they have been extremely friendly, patient, helpful, and understanding of issues brought to their attention time and time again. They put a personal stake in issues to make sure my living situation is the best it can be. Really grateful for my time here.The apartments themselves are some of the nicest I’ve personally lived in. Pretty spacious and well kept. For the size and amenities provide there are definitely more expensive places you could live that would not provide the same level of service. The grounds and maintenance crews are efficient and responsive. There is almost daily trash pickup from right outside your door, both for trash and recycling. And of course there is a beautiful clubhouse with a gym, steam room, and even delivery boxes strictly for Amazon. The pool is of particular mention, looks like something right out of a Caribbean beach: Two hot tubs, several lounge chairs- and even lounge beds-, 4 TVs that are always on that you can control yourself, and a few drink machines. And don’t forget the sand volleyball courts. There are multiple playhouses for kids and grills all over the complex open for free use, as well as plenty of well kept grass so it’s great for pets.Seriously, its great. Highly recommend it.**-While I’m sure these processes are smooth, I will note for fairness sake that my review is based solely on the experience of living here. I was here through a company that took care of all payment, application, etc, except for utilities. I can’t say anything about the process of signing up to live here or the check in/check out process, as these were covered by the company I was with.

I loved living here. No issues whatsoever. Maintenance team is great. I had a hot water heater go out at 10am on a Saturday and it was replaced and operational at 3pm the same day. Front desk and administrative staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

I seriously cant give a higher review for this place. They helped me find a new apartment in the same complex after a sudden break up, have been nothing but accommodating in all of my requests, and have helped me with insect emergencies and other concerns. The apartment is nice, quiet, and just right for me-- no issues with loud neighbors near me.

Went for a tour. Absolutely unprofessional, unwelcoming leasing consultant ( I will edit the review with her name). This was the first of the Mark Taylor properties I toured in my list of apartments to look for. The agent literally explained nothing and I had to ask all the questions myself. It was like I was touring her, lol. Very bad experience, would definitely share the experience with my friends who are moving to Chandler too.

Lets just say I got caught up in a really bad roommate situation which caused me to leave very short of notice due to the other tenant. The wonderful staff at San Palacio helped a homie out. Im looking at you Liz! Talk about working for the public. Thank you guys so much! I love you.

Beautiful property and amazing grounds. The location is ideal to be close to everything but also be a little bit off the beaten path. Really great place to call home!

Update on my original review about Mark-Taylor only having one maintenance man here on weekends - recently found out from now on well be having two maintenance men on duty during weekends, which is wonderful. Thanks to Peggy {new manager} and anyone/everyone else who approved it.

Nice place, close to amenities. looks like the community is diverse. quite as well. Office also has a water dispenser. overall a good community and a nice place to live.

Over $1300/month for a 1 bedroom old worn out space with constant bug surprises. Cant wait for this lease to end. Save your money.

My wife and I will be moving to San Palacio in August 2015. On our visit there, we were very impressed with the layout of the apartment, the complex itself, and all the amenities. We spoke with tenants, maintenance personnel, the front desk employees, and all seem to be in complete agreement. Everyone is treated well, items needing attention get seen to as fast as possible, and San Palacio is almost like a resort. We look forward to living there in the very near future!!

My husband and I have been here for 6 months and we absolutely love it. Its clean, maintenance is on top of it, and all the staff weve encountered have been polite and professional. Its a little expensive but its worth it for what you get. The amenities are amazing, the community is safe, and I dont have to worry about parties going on all night or loud noise. The apartments are very well insulated. Ive seen other reviews complain about noise and it might be louder if you live by the pool. If you happen to find a scorpion (which is likely as they are native to AZ), just call the office and pest control will spray at no cost to you. Its also near everything and located in a newer area in Chandler. Its a great community and we will be here until we buy a home.

Rude front office, not even offering seat for customers. The number of vacant units shows how people are willing to move in. I would skip just for the management, the leasing consultant and the manager.

Extreme loud noise from yard crew landscapers at 7:30 a.m. No regard for residents peace in the early morning no regard for sleep. Horrible management. Its a regular issue here. No respect.

Everything is pretty much 5 stars. Nonetheless, two main problems related to sleep disturbances are making me give two stars.1. (Resolved) Water meter. It is so loud that in bedroom 1, it sounds like someone is tapping on a wooden desk with drumsticks at night. You can hear neighbors water meter as well, even tho it is slightly softer. I was told that the brand dont make the model anymore and they cant replace it. Think about the inconvenience caused when in need to use the bathroom or kitchen when someone is trying to sleep in bedroom 1.2. Electrical buzzing sound. It comes from the wall between bedroom 2 and the living room. I realized there is some kind of powerbox hanging on the exact location outside the walls. When I requested a checkup, all I was told was that they could not hear it. Yet the sound isnt there all the time. It is usually more noticeable at night but present during the day occasionally. One time I was up all night and it settled down around 4-5am. I was guessing it depends on the eletricity usage by the neighbors. I dont know what the exact deal is, but it is loud enough to prevent me from falling asleep for quite a while when it is present.

Horrible noise, leaf blowers and so on, very early in the morning. Maybe 7:00 a.m. or so. Ive lived in other apartment complexes where out of respect for residents this sort of noise was never begun until 9:00 a.m. Needed my sleep, didnt get it !

This is an EXCELLENT place to live, PRIMARILY due to Tarin Feinstein (the manager) and awesome office staff. They are extremely attentive to the needs of the residents, they are caring, and they go above and beyond the call-of-duty day in and day out -- elevating the Mark Taylor brand which already sits superior to all other management companies. Furthermore, their maintenance team is Top Notch as they often times tend to requests the same day they are submitted.The pool is unbelievable and is supreme over several 5-star hotel. The grounds are beautiful, and clean, ALWAYS. Its a gated and very safe community--you feel at ease letting your kids play at the park without your attendance. Pricing is fair for what you get... they have concierge trash service (your trash bags get picked up from your doorstep so you dont have to walk it to the dumpster on those 110 degree days. I could keep going but the main point is YOU WILL STRUGGLE TO FIND A BETTER APARTMENT HOME COMMUNITY TO LIVE IN ANYWHERE IN ARIZONA...

I lived at San Palacio for about a year, unfortunately my experience was horrible, first thing if you work second shift be prepared to be disturbed with a lot noise for the constant landscape and blowers. The leasing office staff don’t take the actions to make your living better, I had so many issues and they can be so rude with you too, about the services we need to pay about 30.00 per month for the trash ( be picked up from your door) but the 3rd party service it’s sooo horrible and they rarely came, and you need to take your trash to the closest bin available. The pool you can just use during the summer because the whole thing about being heated it’s a lie during the fall/winter it’s completely freezing the water. Don’t trust about the inspection before you move out, they sent a guy to do the inspection, the guy check everything and said it was fine, and then after you move out they send you an bill. The gate sometimes is always open. The FedEx Service doesn’t work too, they forgot to send an package then after an week the person asked about the package we found out the package was still there which made me pay more than $100 dollar for an overnight delivery. There’s a lot of better places to live than San Palacio. If you care about your money don’t move in.

Nothing luxurious about this place except the pool and the price. The initial price quoted will not include a multitude of add-ons, which will make your rent higher than most mortgages.

Run away - The application and approval process is the WORST. The get you to go on-line and put in the application fee, and THEN they tell you all the steps for the Credit and the additional FEEs. I was VERY VERY disappointed.
