Amazing community and location! There is very high accessibility to Target, Costco, and the Chandler Mall.I had rented here for almost 1+ years and have nothing but positive reviews about this place. Also, the maintenance team is super quick in resolving the issues in no time.Only Con I found: Its about the flooring/ceiling because of which you can hear loud stomping noise from the tenants above.

Amazing place to live if you are looking for a luxury apartment complex. I have been here since May of 2019 and just resigned another year and a half lease. Management team is stellar. Anytime I need anything Kait is always able to help me. Maintenance requests are always completed quickly and they are flexible with my schedule. The amenities are gorgeous and community is overall quiet with no issues. Would absolutely recommend.

Great place to live! Rented a top floor studio. Really close to lots of restaurants, shopping, and the freeways. The leasing process was easy from start to finish and enjoyed the amenities. Staff is great and maintenance was quick to respond with any issues that came up. Right before leaving they hosted a fun Cinco de Mayo party. Was nice to meet other residents who also were enjoying living there. Highly recommend if you are looking for an apartment in Chandler.

This is solely on the apartments parking amenities for its residents! Ultimately did not lease here because of it.Avant looks great! However, when I asked about parking, the complex has options where the garage is attached to 2/3 bedrooms. From my understanding, it only suits one car for their 2 bedroom plan. The other cars would have to be parked in uncovered parking. This was a dealbreaker for us.Other complexes on Frye/nearby areas offer covered parking, or 2 car garage parking for 2 bedrooms units. With the Arizona heat, thats surely to do damage on cars (even with luxury leather and paint). Something to think about!

Moved to Avant in April from California and was so excited for resort style living. From the outside, this place is a 5 star, but when you’re on the inside you quickly find things are not maintained to the standard you expect for the price. The complex is quick to address issues inside the units, but the common areas are another story. The TV cabanas are an incredible amenity, but half of the TVs don’t turn on. It is getting darker earlier now, and more than 100 light bulbs on the property don’t work, which is a major safety concern. There is also a homeless community on the other side of the fence, and on more than one occasion they have been either inside the complex or sleeping in the community hammocks. The pool heaters have also been an issue. The hot tub and the pool are currently ice cold, making it nearly impossible to use the amenities we pay for. The complex has great potential to be one of the best in the area, but only if the staff continue to upkeep it.

Horrible access to the building. Its a nightmare to get friends and deliveries here. Once my lease is up Im moving across the street so I dont have to deal with this constant headache. Also, parking is a joke here, you wont find any, even the garages are stacked with cars behind them, this place was not made well. The office staff is friendly though, the one star is for the building access and the parking, which is enough to ruin the entire experience. Im definitely moving for those reasons.

Very modern and trendy community with a very professional and courteous staff. The location is very close to a major mall and also department/grocery stores. There are also elevators conveniently located which makes moving items or bringing in groceries a lot easier. Big fan of the pool and the very spacious fitness center! This property is located right by the intersection of the 202 and 101 which cuts down on commute times quite a bit.

Simply put dont even think about living here. None of the issues that were brought up with management have been solved, nor do they show that they even care. That includes packages getting lost, issues with paying rent, repair requests taking for ever, garage door being blocked repeatedly, dirty hallways, poorly constructed units, and the list goes on. Very disappointing for a supposedly luxury apartment were I pay $2000 in rent

This place is great! But I have to give two stars to the staff. I’ve lived here about 4 months and from the very beginning I’ve had issues. First being when I moved in my lock didn’t work, I was planning on moving my things from out of state and was catching a flight that night so I didn’t have time to wait for a new key to be made. The leasing office then confirmed with me in person that they would leave it on my counter, and they confirmed this to me a day later over the phone; which didn’t make any sense to leave an apartment unlocked but regardless, I was told that I would have access into the apartment. The day I got back into town, after driving a U-haul for two days, my apartment was locked and I was unable to enter. I had to call maintenance and send emails until someone could come unlock it for me, which took over an hour.Fast forward 4 months later, I called the leasing office because I’d like to transfer to a two bedroom, my boyfriend applies for the apartment only to then find out someone had snatched it from us seconds before. Completely understandable but didn’t make any sense to us because I was the one looking to transfer and It had been expressed that I wanted to move forward so, why wasnt the tenant taken care of first? Furthermore, I emailed the leasing office letting them know if anything else popped up to please let me know, I received 1 email back but then no other communication after that.Lastly, I pay money to use the common areas but then you have staff who are constantly bringing her friends around, then sends out community emails stating only two guests are allowed with you in the pool but tends to bring more than two, even though shes a staff member and a resident, It’s still her tenant obligation to comply with the rules.

Very happy with my lease here. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained, finishes in the apartment are nicely appointed and clean upon move in. Great price, considering we get a large garage!Main complaints:* Didnt realize I did not have a upstairs neighbor until last week. Somebody moved in and it sounds like a baby giant learning to walk -- I guess there is no sound insulation between floors.* Management just implemented Valet Waste. $35/month for somebody to pick trash up from outside your door. I have no interest in this service (my first apt complex had it and I swore to never move into another complex with it again). So far, the hallways dont smell, but I do not like being charged $35/month for a service I will not use. Luckily, I am not being charged until my lease is up for renewal and I will be arguing to have this charge reversed once I renew.* People dont clean up after their dogs. It shouldnt be the property owners responsibility to clean up after residents dogs. IF YOU OWN A DOG, ACCEPT ALL RESPONSIBILITY OF IT, INCLUDING PICKING UP ITS POOP.All in all, a great complex to live in. Location is fantastic as well. Hoping that management sees that Valet Waste is a scam.

In early spring, I was helping my boyfriend with apartment shopping and we found Avant apartments. We fell in love with the location, and how unique it was. After touring, my boyfriend decided to make the decision to move here. He received a really good rate but, months later he had a lot of issues here. Since he works full time and is barely home, he gets unnessary complaints of noise (being loud). Remind you, he works 50 plus hours and never has company over to make noise. Whenever I come to visit, I have to go up the elevator to get to his apartment and I hear noise from other units as I walk into his unit. Noise like music, voices, etc. I am writing this review because if you are a person who is looking for quiet hours do not move here because they will blame you for the noise when its not coming from your unit it can be the units around you.. He has been targeted for the past two months over noise and its frustrating because it is not him and he has been charged for it! I think this is totally unfair and should not be treated this way.. Avant was built with very cheap walls and you can hear every single thing! I would choose wisely before signing your lease.

The Avant apartments have excellent staff who do a great job for their residents. Front office associate Kait in particular is very professional at all times. She has excellent communication skills, a peoples-person, nice, respectful, listens to me as a resident and addresses any questions, requests, or concerns. She is 5 star employee and represents Mark Taylor to the highest standard by providing the best living experience possible.Maintenance does a great job whenever anything is needes as well. The reason for the 4 star rating of Avant is because of Mark Taylors decision to require residents to pay avalet waste monthly trash fee of $35 to pick up my trash at my front door. The hallways now have tenants trash cans which projects a poor image for tenants and guests. It also promotes smells, bugs, and is a waste of tenant money. When I lived here when it was under Alliance and called Broadstone, no trash fee existed. I hope Mark Taylor eliminates such a junk fee and trash environment within the luxary building! I can take out my own trash! Also Broadstone had people cleaning the property and hallways of apartment. Since Mark Taylor took over, I rarely see people vacumming and cleaning. So Mark Taylor cuts back on cleaning people, implements required trash fee. Nice money grab Mark Taylor!Overall I recommend this community.

I understand living in an apartment building comes with noise and neighbors, however out of all the apartments Ive lived in, I have NEVER experienced the level of noise I am subjected to listen to on a daily basis until I moved into this apartment. There is absolutely no sound barrier between floors in my apartment building. I do not have a noise problem with my neighbors to the right and left of me, only above me. If I didnt know any better, I would think elephants were living above me. They are what it sounds like running laps and jumping around their apartment and this is even with my tv volume turned up all the way to try to buffer the what sounds like a stampede of noise above me. It is to the point that my when my glass of water is sitting on my table you can see the water shake. There is nothing more frustrating than having to deal with this noise and there being absolutely nothing that can be done about it.Besides the noise problem, I LOVE MY APARTMENT!! I do not have anything else bad to say about the complex. I would continue to live here after my lease is up, however because of the noise I am not even considering it as an option.

Review №37

I will try to be as non-biased as possible, but will leave an honest review from someone who first moved into Broadstone Fashion in late 2016, shortly after the complex opened. This has been my experience.First, whenever you have a complex with 170+ units, issues are bound to occur. I think this is irregardless and almost somewhat expected of wherever you rent. If you are a person looking for complete solitude, then you would own a house with no neighbors. However, with all that being said, I have seen a slow and downward spiral in the quality of the site and the staff that represent Broadstone. I was originally drawn to Broadstone because of the professional staff and attention to detail of the property. Within the last six months, pretty much where you have seen the lackluster ratings appear is when most of the following has occurred.Let start with general upkeep of the property. The buildings routinely look like a college dorm hall, milkshake on the floor for three+ weeks, even though staff walks right past the mess and show perspective renters the property. The pool door(s)on two entrances and exits were out of service for several weeks. The dog park consistently has poop all over the place because owners are far too lazy to pickup it up. While on the topic of pets, come one come all. If you have a 150lb Bernese Mountain dog bring him or her to Broadstone. Concerned about their pet policy? Don’t be! All you need is to fake it, and abuse the “service dog clause”. I am a dog owner, my dog IS NOT a service dog,I pay the fee and cleanup after my dog. Other than the handful of people, and I can probably count them on one hand that legitimately need a service dog, you should be ashamed of yourself; evidence to the saying “this is why we can’t have nice things”.The maintenance team other than one older gentleman suck, period. Routine maintenance takes forever or is simply never completed. The cleaning person, yes one person for multiple buildings is overworked and a sweetheart. In regards to the front staff, I knew everyone in the office when Broadstone first opened. Now,I have given up getting to know them because it’s a revolving door with lesser and lesser quality people being employed. The general manager, nice guy, but clearly cannot manage and seems to be in over his head. Trust me the reviews are no mistake, my favorite pastime is once a week checking them to see what the latest 1-star review entails. Most of them are pretty on point. My question to management is, why do you keep giving the same overused canned response? Get out of your chair and go walk the property, talk to the residents, or just accept that the property will continue it’s slide and you will attract less and less quality renters. If you do decide to rent here, do everything by email. Because even then, the staff will not honor “concessions” that were made by one of the many previous managers. Overall, it is just piss poorly managed; shame on the regional manager that is allowing this to occur. In terms of pricing, for what the property has become, I feel it’s overpriced. Management just rolled out their most recent scam. “Valet trash”, for those that are too lazy to walk to the dumpster. For $35.00 a month/ $420 yearly, you too can have stinky trash buckets that are overflowing onto carpeted hallways. No one was asked if this service was wanted, or frankly even needed. If you can’t be bothered to walk to the dumpster and want your house to stink that is your prerogative, but now everyone gets to experience your mess!Broadstone fashion is conveniently located for someone who works nearby, or someone that recently moved to AZ and wants all the amenities within walking distance. But once you have lived there, you’ll soon find out there actually isn’t much to do that doesn’t either require an Uber or for you to drive a considerable distance.Take all this for what it is worth, but the 2.3 stars is certainly a rating Broadstone did not just earn overnight.*Clearly the most recent reviews are fake in an effort to boost ratings

It’s like playing hopscotch because everywhere you walk you have to watch your step. The apartments looks nice at a first glance but if you actually look closer, the quality of the building materials leaves a lot to be desired. Looks are deceiving, don’t let decor fool you, the inner workings of this place is a MESS!Staircases and hallways are so-so filthy!Front office staff. It’s clear that the primary goal isn’t to keep tenants happy so expect the bare minimum. I’m writing this review because I’m not only frustrated and extremely disappointed and there’s no other outlet to express it where we’d receive help.If you love having Airbnb renters here, it’s the place for you because apparently anyone can rent Airbnb room at this apartment complex.Think twice before you move in.We are not happy about current policy changes. The few perks that you get from living here are heavily outweighed by all the negative factors I found out after moving in. Ill start with the perks because it is worth noting that they seem very enticing. For starters the location is amazing. 5 minute walk at most to the mall and youre right next door to a Costco. Second are the amenities. Gym and pool are great excluding that you can only use the pool until 10pm.When I heard that Mark Taylor was taking over I was excited to hear this but they were just as bad if not worse than Alliance. The negatives fall into actually living there. Once I moved in the lighting in the apartment was outrageous. I had to go spend at least $100 on new lighting. Along with the lighting they have installed the worlds cheapest $40 ceiling fans from home depot, at what they market as luxury apartments. If Im paying $2,000 a month for an apartment this shouldnt fly. The next issue is very common in a lot of apartments, which is the lack of insulation between each unit. Definitely understandable when Im living at a place that is not considered luxury apartments. Theres an issue when I can hear the tenant above me snoring.I wasnt going to leave a review because I work in property management and understand there are things that are out of their control, but the final issue I had did it in for me. During my last month, we were told auto pay would only deduct the partial months rent, but of course it took out the entire months rent. We ended up losing the majority of it anyways because of maintenance and repairs that were needed. I was aware of a few items that would need repair and was definitely understanding of that, but to lose nearly $1,500 to repairs is egregious. Being in this industry, there is no way the repairs cost this much. Waiting nearly six weeks for for our refund was very unprofessional and to have to go drive thirty minutes one way to pick it up just added to the issue.I hope this is corrected for future residents, but seeing that they have a great location it is unlikely.

From the beginning this place claimed luxury living, the price fit but not the service(see yelp review for more). On move in day our downstairs neighbor (floor 3, we are floor 4, the top) comes up stairs in a not so friendly way, wondering what all the commotion was. In this moment myself & family helping us move just brushed it off as a not so friendly neighbor. Unfortunately as I have come to learn over the next 10 months, although our first neighbors personality was a little sharp she had good reason to be upset. The appearance of our beautiful home was nice, but the apartments have nothing insulating them. Two downstairs neighbors later, same complaints & you now have a floor 3 neighbor that is uncomfortable in her own home because she can hear everything, everything. Now I’m anxious in my own home, there is nothing I can do. I don’t wear shoes in the house, I’m a petite 5’ woman with a 22lb dog, & I can’t walk through my apartment, close a drawer, close a cabinet, cook, watch tv, listen to music, play with my dog without having to evaluate if I could do it quieter or not at all. These next events are the reason I would encourage anyone looking to move into Broadstone Fashion Center to look else where. Living in a brand new apartment I never imagined that this would be a story I would tell. After one of our first Arizona monsoon storms, a leak became apparent in our apartment buildings room. It showed in the sagging table between our drywall on the ceiling, & many water marks following along the tape. We immediately put in a request for it to be resolved. They came to look at the ceiling, but that was all. Another storm came, it started to drip. We waited, weeks later what we are left with is a supposed roof repair & a plaster over the sagging tape & leaking areas. Nothing was removed, nothing was repaired, simply patched over. Scary, disappointing, & unacceptable. Here in July you expect to be turning up the AC a, I have lived here for my whole life & I expect that. Well here’s two things that I haven’t expected; spending as much on my 1Bed1Bath apt SRP bill as someone with a 2000+ sqft house would. I guess it’s just the poor insulation, & there’s nothing I can do but pay it, oh well. But then the day came when I returned home from work, with my unit set at 77 all day, I walked into an 84 degree apartment. It was uncomfortable to say the least & it went from form uncomfortable to disappointing. It took 4 days for them to repair my broken AC unit, in the middle of July in Arizona. I don’t know how cheap they have to buy their AC units for them to break after a year, but they did it.The saga ends here, this is the day I decided I couldn’t live here for another day. I moved in with family because I couldn’t spend any more time here, it made me anxious & upset just walking into this place I was supposed to call home. A rainstorm came again, this time not only did the roof show damage in its existing damaged(& half patched) spots, but now new spots appeared. The majority of my living space was now showing signs of water damage. I don’t know what scared me more, the idea that more than just plaster might fall on me, my dog or my belongings? Or the fact that there has to be mold living in one of the 4 falls that I live in from the lack of proper repairs. I was hopeful I could break my lease, find somewhere else to live before the holiday season begins, but they say they can’t help. They say I am welcome to live in the apartment & they will come patch the ceiling, or I am welcome to return my keys early but still pay the rent. I don’t know how they find those options satisfactory, but they do. So instead I have imposed myself on family for the time being, & the only thing I can do is just warn anyone looking to live here. It isn’t worth the price, not worth the anxiety, & not worth my health living with mold. Don’t move here, & especially if you move into apartment 458, don’t move in till you’ve thoroughly inspected the ceiling, seen work orders for proper repairs & had someone test for mold

I’m a new resident and so far not impressed!! My living room windows have so much moisture in them I literally cannot see out of them. I’ve called for service twice. Daily I have someone blocking my garage or in my additional parking spot that I pay for! Yesterday I had to call a friend to pick me up for an obligation because someone blocked my garage for over an hour and I could not get out!! So far I am regretting my decision to move here! I wish I would have done my due diligence in reading these reviews before moving in. Please read these reviews. There are so many 1 stars with legitimate issues/concerns.

The neighbors are loud blasting music when reported multiple times to stop and the office did not do anything. There was also a fake fire but it was dust and it triggered the alarms. Also, when there is a postal truck putting mail away it blocks the path of the drive thru. Lastly, on the lease it says no smoking and the neighbor does it anyway. Those are the major things about this place so i dont have to make it too long.

I have had structural and ceiling issues noted in the apartment when I first moved in that have still not been resolved 7 months post. Part of my ceiling fell last week and still nothing has been done. Disappointed.
