We were in the middle of a heat wave and every place I called was backed up for weeks, but somehow Tradewinds squeezed us in for service. I had received a quote from another company that came out for over $5k, but it was actually a small part that needed to be fixed that cost $250! Its been a few months since weve got our AC and new furnace installed and it has been working like a charm!We vetted a few AC companies prior to choosing Tradewinds. From the start Nicholas has been very helpful and answered all of my husbands millions of questions. They did have to come out twice for the initial walk through and second to do measurements of the house per my husbands request. The measurements helped better fit our system and I wish that was done in the initial walk through. However, Im happy all the proper calculations were done and completed accurately.The crew was very friendly! They were very respectful with keeping the doors closed, as we asked because of our 15 month old daughter. Finished everything in 2 days, right in time for the hot June weather!!Our furnace didnt work the first time we turned it on for the first September snow storm. Fred came out first thing in the morning and fixed it for us! He was so kind and compassionate about it and told us he wouldve been here the night before if he knew! Too kind :)Very happy overall with our AC! I cant live without it haha!Cons - sometimes communication was off. We wouldnt know what time the crew was set to arrive. Had to email Tradewinds regarding our first inspection.Crew also used one of our buckets in the basement and left some metal on it. A little frustrating but not a deal breaker.

I contacted TradeWinds several weeks ago after learning that my install wasn’t permitted or done correctly.I received a response yesterday:Hello, Ms WeinsteinHope your Day is well.Thanks for reaching out.Im sorry when we spoke the other day, I didnt remember you.I did find your records.Yes, I remember the 2018 A/C add on project, we also replaced the damaged flue vent piping, and added return air filter grills. From what I recall We all were satisfied. May I ask what changed?Hi Fred. When I originally hired you it was because of a referral. I was disappointed to learn that you had to come back a second time to create new vents because the access to my furnace was no longer available. I was frustrated, told you and spent an additional $900. You were apologetic and I liked you but as a real estate agent I chose not to refer you to clients in need. When I originally used the AC that you installed it leaked onto my floor. Fortunately my friend was home and was able to clean up the water prior to it getting worse. You then wired it, instead of installing an outlet and hiring an electrician, to the furnace. I recently discovered it is not to code and you didnt pull a permit. In order to update it to code I need a laundry list of items as well as have an outlet installed. Im beyond disappointed. These services are costing me over $1000. How do you want to proceed?Over a month later and no response. No call, no apology, no defense of why they did the work incorrectly. Not surprising. Their only response was that they did the work and it wasnt under warranty. Totally disappointing in this family business.

Usually when I contact tradewinds it’s due to a furnace malfunction. That means it’s pretty urgent that I want it repaired. Every time I have been in this situation tradewinds has been able to accommodate me within a couple of hours. I always feel that they have their customer well being in mind first and foremost.

I have worked with Tradewinds a number of times. Once, my furnace went out and I thought Id have to replace it, but they were able to repair it inexpensively and kept it going for a few more years. When I did replace my furnace, they gave me all the options, a really great price and installation was a breeze. Recently, my AC stopped working, and while we could have potentially had to buy a new one, Tradewinds gave us multiple options and we ended up able to fix it. I really appreciate how honest they are, and they are also always super friendly and professional. They are our go-to company.

Nicolas kept me calm over the phone, while patiently recording all pertinent information. After scheduling a diagnostic service within hours, he kept me up to speed on the status of the repair technician. This was very helpful to me, because I was trying to balance work and this service. Absolutely best experience Ive had with a technician/inspection of any sort. I had Tradewinds inspect my furnace and Michael took the time to explain every detail to me and was honest about good habits for taking care of my furnace in the future. He even took a little extra time to explain the winterization process I should go through on my swamp cooler and where to buy the parts to do it myself. Its great to have this level of quality in the neighborhood. :)

My furnace was not working on a 30 degree day in January. Wife was not happy. I called Tradewinds at 8 AM and they had a technician out to my house by 10 AM. Michael was very helpful. He explained to me what he was doing, and he got my furnace running again in about 5 minutes. The pricing was fair for a quick fix. I plan to have Tradewinds handle my annual HVAC maintenance going forward.

This company was willing to work with us even though we did not have the money to use the products they normally use. It is the Christmas season and we didnt know what to do. Moved into new home and furnace is not working... I called 3 HVAC contractors who said I needed a brand new furnace. One company quoted me $9K. My AC went out during a particularly hot stretch of summer and after exhausting my limited knowledge of HVAC I called Tradewinds in the morning and they had someone out by mid-afternoon. Our home boiler quit working Thursday night. I put in a call to our one hour heating service company. Finally at about 9:00 Friday AM we had an appointment for the following Monday. That afternoon, my daughter suggested I call Mr Pedroza. I did He responded almost immediately. We were up and running in minutes. Unfortunately, when it rains it pours and the boiler failed again on Saturday morning. I called Fred again and he was there by noon. Another defect, for which he gave us a work around until he could get a replacement part on Monday. We agreed to have him return Tuesday AM declining his offer to come at 6:00 PM Monday. I prefer GREAT service to one hour advertisers. Tradewinds is our new service provider.

That was the deciding factor for me to have your company do the trouble shooting with our furnace. After having Michael come out and put our furnace back in order, I totally agree with your other clients. It is nice to have a backup plan, if my husband is unable to fix the problem or he is out of town and the furnace has issues. My husband recently purchased an older Denver bungalow and noticed the furnace was making a strange buzzing sound when we turned it on. We knew that the furnace was nearly the end of its life, so after doing some research we called Tradewinds. My furnace went out Sunday and Fred was at my house within an hour. Friendly and eager to fix the problem. Great customer service and kind to my 3 children and overly protective dog.

I used Tradewinds based on a recommendation to help find the source of water damage in my ceiling. The service call charge of $75 somehow turned into $150 for a 30 min visit. Mind you, this is just to assess the situation, not to actually perform any work. When I called to ask why my bill was double, they said the invoice should detail the extra charges. There was no detail. So, they then said they would find out and call back. Upon calling me back there was still no detailed explanation but they assured me I would get a nice discount if I went forward with the work quoted. Ummm, no thank you.I should give Tradewinds a lower rating but I think they are good people. Although I am not sure why they felt the need to gouge me on a short visit to assess my AC and write up a quote.
