This company has taken care of every HVAC thing Ive needed since 2018. Installed central air, checks my system every spring and fall, and now I had a whole house humidifier added.Chris got everything installed today, and up and running. Great work, professional team. I have every confidence that they keep my house nice and comfy for us!

They said they came out to do a free estimate on my home. I need some duct work done. I called 3 times to ask about my estimate. They came out on a Friday and by the following Friday I never got a response, so apparently they did not care about getting the job. I ended up going with a different company. They came out and I had an estimate in about an hour. I will never recommend Fry to anyone. Ive never gotten completely ignored by a company that is suppose to be professional. Again never will I recommend them to anyone.

Larry was openly friendly and very knowledgeable about his job. He arrived on time and immediately started his task. I highly recommend Larry for any and all furnace and/or a.c. work needed.

I needed to replace two systems (A/C and Furnace) and knowing this was going to be an expensive investment to our home, reached out to the major heating and cooling companies in the Toledo area; six to be exact. In addition, I did research to understand the pros/cons of each brand as well as the try to get my mind around the infinite system configuration options available (e.g. single stage, two stage, multi-stage, etc.).It goes without saying Dan (the owner) was more responsive and accommodating to my plethora of questions and concerns. He was by far the most attentive to our needs (e.g., budget, humidity control, etc.). When it came to money, Dan didnt try to take us to the cleaners. I received some quotes that were $10,000 more than their closest competitor.If anyone does any work to their home, they know the crew that shows up to work is what really matters. This is why I give Frys five starts. Austin (lead tech) was on-time, explained the installation process, and most importantly, made sure clean-up was to my wifes standard. I cant even do that.Austin was flanked by Jonathan on day one and two. Jonathan was also courteous and professional. If he needed to put something on the floor, he made sure it was on a protective blanket (we have floors that scratch just by looking at them). Later on day two and for all of day three, Frys sent Cameron. Cameron like Austin, was fantastic. He set up our thermostats, primed our main A/C (York 21 SEER, 5 Ton - guys, you gotta get one, super cool A/C system and it makes no noise) and helped get the Hx3 app on my iPhone.Another important thing to mention was what Frys did as a result of shipping damaged caused to my main A/C unit. Rather than say, you have to wait weeks for a new one (and be without A/C), Dan (the owner), made an executive decision to have a 21 SEER unit installed at the price of my 19 SEER unit.Back to Austin. We replaced our Nest thermostats and when I went to take it off, one of them peeled a ton of paint off the wall. I explained to Austin what happened and despite knowing everyone is on a tight schedule, he said, Dont worry about it, the stat can be installed later. He also offered to bring a portable A/C from their shop so my kids could be comfortable at night. Again, this was my mistake, not it theirs.At the end of the project, Dan (the owner) arrived to see if everything was done to my liking. Hardly anyone does that these days.Super pleased with our York system (pulled down our humidity from 68% to 50% in one day). Very happy that we went with Fry Heating & Cooling.

We were provided excellent service by Cameron, Douglas and Jennifer. Our 6 year-old tankless water heater was consistently having an error code. We contacted three companies to have them look at our water heater. Fry was the only company that took the time to consider that it could be repaired instead of replacing it. Douglas the sales rep was amazing to work with. While discussing our problem he suggested that he thought it could be repaired instead of replaced, and even better that it might still be under warranty. Cameron the service technician was off that day, but he still answered questions that Douglas sent his way since Cameron was more familiar with our type of water heater. Jennifer stayed in contact with us while we waited for the replacement part to come in since we had no hot water. On the day of the repair Cameron was knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to make sure the job was done properly.Needless to say we were ecstatic to go from what we thought was going to cost us over $5000 to repairing the unit with a part that was under warranty still that resulted in a bill of a little over $500.Fry is an honest and dependable company!

Fry Heating and Air was absolutely amazing from the first call we made to them! My 78 year old mom lost her AC on her 38 year old AC unit. They came right out and gave us a quote on a Friday and by Tuesday the following week they were able to replace her AC, furnace, hot water tank, humidifier at a very reasonable price! Austin came early (and within a few hours since calling which is awesome!) and was super fast, he saw what the problem was immediately and put a new part in to make sure the air would work and he was right! Had a good experience with FRY when switching from propane to natural gas. Had them go through and change everything over and go over the unit. Great service. So when AC went out today, called to schedule and appointment for this afternoon, had me back up and running in under 20 mins. Just needed to replace a small part in the outdoor unit. When something else goes out I wont hesitate to call.

My water heater was damaged by a recent flood in my basement. My insurance agent referred me to a local business (Monroe) for repair. I explained my situation with needing it replaced asap due to having a very sick spouse who is battling cancer at home. The local company left me hanging for days with unreturned phone calls. Douglas, one of their representative, came to our home and gave us a quote right there on the spot. Not only was the price where I expected it but Fry offered better products than other dealers we spoke to. Freya heating and cooling was suggested to us by several people on Facebook because they are reliable and they don’t push services that you don’t need. We gave them a call and Cameron came out right away and quickly diagnosed the problem. They ordered the part and it was fixed within a week. Unlike other companies, both times Cameron showed up at the start of the “time window” so I wasn’t sitting around waiting for him. I also very much love that they sent me a picture of the technician and gave me tracking information so I knew exactly who is coming to my home and when. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services.

We have used Fry for many years for routine maintenance on our ac and heater. They replaced the condensing unit several years ago and modified the air intake as well. Let me Tell you that Fry heating is the the place I will always do business with they are honest and straight forward. I had called them to service my furnace since it was having an issue with starting. I talked to Amber who was so nice and setup the appointment. The tech came out and found the issue quickly. Austin pointed out the problem and tried to locate a part but was coming up empty. My 25 year old furnace needed a part before Thanksgiving but they needed to order it. Austin said if it came in after the holiday he would come out and install it but With the holidays and age of the furnace there was going to be a longer wait for the part so Fry suggested that do to the age of the furnace and the possibility of parts being harder to find maybe it was time to think new. They owner came out and quoted a price and wee had a discussion about the install and within 2 days we had a new furnace installed. I also cannot say enough for there technician Jesse and his supervisor. They were top notch and stayed till the job was done. This was not a easy install either but they got it done. I would recommend Fry to anyone looking for a honest and professional place to install or service there furnace and air.

Going to try to keep this short and sweet. Furnace decides it doesnt want to work anymore on a Saturday night, avg. 24 degree days, so a call a certain company to come out and see what they can do. It is determined my system is completely shot charges me $380 and says it gonna cost me over $5900 for a new system. Leaves me with no heat and $380 in the whole. Fast forward to Monday and Frys was one of my many estimate appointments that day. Doug comes in takes thorough look in and around the house telling me what has to be done and what will be updated to code. It was sounding really pricey when he was mentioning all the things they would have to do, but when it came down to the table meeting his offer didnt seem real (good kind). Got the green light from my boss and called up their finance guy Dan. Worked with me about payment options that were available and promised a crew would be there Wednesday. Wednesday hits Austin and Jesse get to the house at 8:30am the exact time he said he would arrive. I was on my way to work so Austin gave me his personal number for any problems they might hit or any questions I will have for this project. The instillation day goes smoothly on my end with no calls stating we hit a problem it is done before I get home. Really clean and looks great! This is already getting long so I cant tell you how much those two did. IT WAS A LOT. Cant thank Austin and Jesse enough for what he did. Austin even came back the next day to check the instillation to make sure everything was working properly and to check every screw and knob. If there is anyone else I am forgetting about this team I deeply apologize everyone was very quick to respond back to me and make sure everything was to my liking. Hands down the best HVAC service team I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

They came out and did the job to service our firnace quickly but... than they proceeded to charge us 230$ for the 10 minutes they were here. That is absolutely ridiculous. I will be taking my business else where.Update: it didnt seem to fix the problem we were having in the first place. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I called to get clean and check on my furnace that Fry installed years ago. I was told it was a $109 fee out the door. The gentleman charged me $79 to come out and $109 for the cleaning. He gave me me another option of getting the VIP package which is a great value but still charged a trip charge of $79. I called the company after the fact and they said that its just $109 for the clean and check and no additional trip charge. I feel swindled but appreciate the work they did.

I called at 9:05am due to where furnace would turn on then shut off. By 10am Amber called me back to tell me a Austin, technician will be coming out. When Austin arrived he was professional and explained what was going on.Our programmable thermostat is not working. His tester said it’s 72 degrees and our said it’s 66 degrees in here. Out of vents it’s 97 degrees. It was also talking a long time 10mins and 66 degrees did not change on thermostat. He said it’s time for new one. (The thermostat we had on our wall he said they don’t make it anymore)Austin put a new one in and now it’s working great! He gave me his card so if I had any questions about thermostat I could call the office and he can help. I definitely recommend Fry heating and cooling! Thanks for all the help!

I used Fry Heating, not based on price, but how they responded and actually cared about my family, yes I did call other companies, but Fry was the ONLY company who offered the use of portable heaters if they were unable to restore heat to my house( they did by the way) ! the service rep, Chris was very polite and explained the problem in a way that was understandable. we had the whole system replaced, the crew showed up on time and went right to work, heat was on that same day !we will certainly call them again, for whatever we need !

I would highly recommend fry heating. We recently had our hot water tank replaced. Dan came and gave us a quote and was able to set up a replacement in a few days. Nick our installer was professional and answered all my questions. He also cleaned up before he left. We had called them as they had replaced our furnace and air conditioner a few years ago. The new units have saved us on heating and cooling bills ever since. Give them a call.

I worked with Fry Heating and Cooling in November of last year and had a great experience. The tech who came by to inspect our furnace was knowledgeable and helpful. I was planning on calling them back this year. But unfortunately, I am reconsidering that now. Today I received a bill in the mail from them for a service I never requested. The bill was dated November 10th, 2020 and claimed to be charging me for a renewal service. I never signed any contract for any such renewal, nor did I see or hear from anyone on November 10th, the alleged date of service.Please see the companys reply below. They responded in a professional manner, as you can see. Im changing the review to 4 stars, rather than the 3 I originally had listed because of the way they responded to an issue like this. I believe 4 stars reflects the quality of the service I experienced last year, while also acknowledging that there certainly are some communication issues surrounding their billing policies.

Furnace went out and tech #1 couldnt figure it out. Tech #2 figured it out quickly and I was told needed a new furnace and was quoted 2 models. Agreed to purchase one and was told to expect a call from office next day to schedule. Still waiting 2 weeks later for the call. Called another company and they installed a 96% effeciency for same price as Frys 80%.

Austin came out for our hot water tank and got our water heater running until we replace it tomorrow with Austin was professional and kind and will rely on fry from now on

If I could I would give zero stars. We had a service contract with Fry for two years since moving into our home. They never arrive on time and never admit their faults. They’ve come and argued that a filter replacement was not included in our contract and every time I have to talk to someone in office who then ultimately verified it is included. They’ve come and serviced units incompletely or incorrectly. It’s never simple, always have to fight for correct service as they seem to cut corners. Zero customer service. Will never use their service again.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Prompt service. On the higher end of price, but absolutely worth it. I didnt even know we had a warranty, the technician did all the leg work to find out & apply the warranty from another company. Have earned my loyalty.
