First time coming here and I’m impressed. Very neat and clean. I didn’t have an appointment or anything and got right in. My last set I had on was a mess different lengths and shapes so I asked for a new set. They were so happy to help me! They asked if I wanted a drink, made sure that whole taking them off it wasn’t hurting, and overall it was a good experience. I was going to do just black and white, but the tech, Ray I believe, said I should add flowers to make it more fun. I said sure do whatever you like!! And he did these!! It was a little more expensive than I payed at the other place, but they look so much better and I will definitely be coming back!!:)

Pioneer Nail Bar is the best nail salon I’ve ever been too. The professionalism and cleanliness is outstanding. The staff makes you feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. You’re greeted with a smile and will be attended too at the soonest convenience if you don’t schedule an appointment. They provide drink services and genuinely want to know how you are doing! They’re pricing is very reasonable and services are phenomenal. I’ve been going to Pioneer Nail Bar for 6 months now for gel manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow waxing and have never had anything less than an amazing experience. I am always excited to see the staff and owner, Jimmy!All in all, I HIGHLY suggest you go to them!

When this nail salon first opened, it had amazing service. The owner is wonderful and my acrylics always turned out how I wanted them to. Unfortunately, my most recent visits have been disappointing. I always call for an appointment to make sure they have time, but I was rushed through with my nails because they were busy… and it showed. My middle nail popped off after a week, even though I don’t use my hands much. I figured this might be a fluke since I usually get such great service here, so I went back. This time my nails were done to a better degree, but the technician doing my nails was way too rough and cut open my cuticles on multiple fingers. I was bleeding and it hurt for days afterwards; now it has scabbed over and looks pretty bad ):

The nail tech was kind but attentive! The polish looks unprofessionally applied. I am taking it off and doing it myself. Will not return. I would say opt for another nail shop.

I started out really loving this place and although the people are great my nails have gotten so expensive I can only go once every couple of months. My fill and pedicure today cost me $150 before tip and I gotta say Im not loving the way they came out.

I was so excited to try out this new beautiful salon! Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. I appreciate that they got me in quickly however the services were so rushed she cut me in several places. With the high prices I was expecting a gorgeous new set and relaxing pedicure. I got a barely 15 minute seat in the pedicure chair, no calluses removed. My nails were a 5/10. Just meh. She seemed to have a hard time getting my shape correct, which was a basic coffin shape....and 3 days later they already look grown out and have a stain from the top coat. At least its beautiful inside and they serve mimosas🤷🏽‍♀️

I wanted to try this place because it’s close to my work…..NEVER again l. I will continue goingto my regular place. A fill and plain white polish no design cost $45 my normal place is $30 & does a way better job. The technician didn’t cut them shorter like I asked and the polish is super sloppy! My coworker went with and hers was even worse!

Beautiful! Got a manicure with three friends. It was very busy and we were four walk-ins, they had us in chairs with manicures started in under twenty minutes. Its been almost a week and my nail polish still looks good!

I went to get a mani pedi today, In the past I have had great technicians, however, that was not the case today. My pedi was ok, my manicure was awful. I have dipped nails and the technician, ray, (at least he said his name was ray, he had an apple airpod in his left ear, 30 ish, overweight and breathed heavily behind his mask, not the owner.) this guy tore my fingers up. I made it apparent he was hurting me and asked if he could be gentler but he did not. Used the Dremel til my fingers burned through my old nail, filed aggressively and very hard. He could tell I was displeased and asked very condescendingly if I was mad, he said, “you look mad.” I said “no I’m in pain, You are hurting me.” And he still continued. Also, forgot to mention he decided to clip his own nails while waiting for my old dip to dissolve, and the nail clipping flew across the station and hit me. I was literally in disbelief at the lack of professionalism I literally ran out of there. Very disappointed. Will not go back.

The nail salon is beautiful, very clean. Their service is great. You are greeted the minute you walk through the door and are ushered to a spot and catered to. Several og their techs are INCREDIBLE!! They are gentle, have paid very close attention to details and are talented with design. If something is NOT right they will fix it! So far I and my daughter will continue coming back.

Great salon. Very new and pretty. Great customer service. Very clean and hygienic. Had a pedicure done and it was AMAZING. It was very relaxing. Nothing fancy but because they are still new you get a discount for first timers. If you pay in cash there is a discount. Got a Mani/Pedi bundle on my Birthday and got a discount for going in day of. They always treat me AMAZINGLY.

Its a very nice looking studio...very modern setup and equipment. Staff is friendly and the host offers a drink while u wait. Price was 10 dollars more than the other nail bars Ive been too and provided less service than those doing pedicures for 25 bucks. I wont likely go back.

I was referred by my co-worker and wanted to try this place for a while. I got a fullset of acrylic and a pedicure. Staffs are very friendly and the owner (jimmy) is super nice and professional. I would definitely be coming back. This will be my to go place

This salon was very clean and pretty, however the day after my mani/pedi my polish was already coming off. My daughters was off half of her nails as well. They were very pricy and when I didnt tip as large as they wanted, they were rude to me. I will not return to this salon.

Had a fantastic experience here. Esthetically pleasing environment, and very well staffed. The free drinks are a game changer. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I went with a friend for a pedi, when we walked in we werent greeted for about 5 minutes. When we sat down we were asked what we wanted to drink, I asked for water and my friend asked for Sprite which she received but I never received my water. I got shellac polish, which I noticed that they didnt use the UV light like other places usually use...and the calluses on the big toes were not even touched. I have never gotten a pedicure and this not be done, the rest of my foot looks great, she even took her time to work on my cuticles.

BEWARE🛑Do not be fooled by the salons beautiful ambiance and complimentary drinks (that were never offered to me and my friend btw!).The most stressful and worst pedicure ($45) I ever received with a nail technician, Linda, who was having a “tough day” (as the owner explained it to me) when I reported my unpleasant experience. Felt like I was a dollar sign and quantity over quality (had an appointment FYI ) and not a human being trying to relax and receive the service that I would be paying for. Never received a timed 8 minute foot massage, it was more like a 30 second leg application with a scrub exfoliation (owner argued with me that I did in fact receive it but it was just interrupted twice because she had to leave to look for nail color which they did not have btw, nail polish quality is also cheap). My nail technician was gone throughout most of my pedicure session, was rough and unprofessional.My first experience at the salon was pleasant with a nail technician, Tammie, and that is why I came back for the second time with my friend.However, they have lost my business forever after my last experience and will not be referring any family or friends ever again.The owner did give me $5 off and a 20% discount for a next visit (because I did not want to pay $45 for a service I did not receive in the first place ) but I will not be coming back!At the end of the day, the owners should try to remember that its not about the number of customers you get in and out of the chairs or the money you will make today, Its about bringing a comfortable and high quality service to your customers who will continue coming back to you each time long term and bringing their loved ones with them to receive not only a pedicure and manicure but also the attention, time and pleasurable service that they deserve. Everybody wins.

Pioneer nail bar was clean, professional and timely! Aesthetically pleasing too! Tammy took care of my nails and was gentle and paid attention to details! And the hand massage was great! Will definitely be coming back!EDIT: I have continued to come here since my original review several months ago, but since then the quality of service has rapidly declined and this is no longer a salon I would recommend to anyone.

I went to this place when they first opened and had great service. I went back for a manicure and pedicure and they were so packed I waited for a hour to get in. I was cut pretty badly on my toe by my technician. I then had the owner Tammy do my manicure and again was cute like I have never been cut before on both hands. Blood all over the place. She said my cuticles were too soft. I will never be going to this place again. I have never paid 55 dollars for a pedicure and 45 for a manicure and been cut like this in 20 years. These people need to learn how to be gentle and slow down!

Me and my sister came here to get our nails done before her wedding I really wanted to like my nails the ladies who did our nails were absolutely amazing but the nails it’s self looks like I did them on my own which is an a good thing I’m not happy that I was charged $45 for splotchy nails. I’m not a confrontational person so I didn’t want to ask her to have them re-done or for a refund but I will not be coming back

This location is great ! I recommend Vi! She did a wonderful pedicure for my mother in law and despite it being very busy, she gave a the full deal non rushed experience. I will go back. :)

I tried this place a few times and had a great experience when they first opened but it seems that they have hired on someInexperienced staff that rush through their manicures and pedicures and don’t do a thorough job. Messily painting nails and rushing through services. What annoyed me the most was listening to one of their staffers tip hustle for cash tips instead of credit tips and also being badly cut by one of their techs and still bleeding hours later.

I got a manicure and asked for french tips they are un even and just awful. I got my wedding nails and now have to pay more money at a di fferent salon

Over priced, timed their employees and if not working fast enough they move them and bring some one else to finish. Three separate people worked on my nails. Mediocre nails. Seemed polite and welcoming but owners really did not seem interested in customers except to get them in and out as fast as possible. Won’t be returning.

Lovely little studio, however I was quite unimpressed with the customer service and quality of my nail services. My polish ended up bubbling and I had to ask to have a couple nails redid. Several of their colors were also out of stock so I had to pick other colors. I felt rushed throughout the entire process and wasnt able to relax fully (yes, I had an appointment). I also noticed they didnt clean the tables between customers. 😬 Overall, it was overpriced for the quality of services recieved. I will not be going back.

I paid extra for callus removal and they did nothing. That night my feet still felt rough against my sheets. My toenails were not cut evenly, and this was the most expensive place I have gone for a pedicure. It was beautiful inside and the staff was nice, but I will not return.

I felt more like a dollar sign then a customer. I didnt have an appointment they told me it would be a few minutes. Got sat down and over heard a conversation she doesnt have an appointment we will get to her in a little but. They could have just told me it would have been a little longer but didnt. One of the ladies turned on my water and left it on and walk off... it almost over flowed good thing I figured out how to turn it off before it ended up on the floor. Sat there for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement. After I was done getting my toes done went to pay... waited another 10 to 15 minutes to pay with no acknowledgement. Even when multiple employees came to the front desk. Acknowledging a customer goes long way even if you are busy. Wont be go back here so unorganized even if you make an appointment.

Jimmy and Demi are the best! This place is beautiful and has a very well thought out design of their space. All of the chairs are brand new and have beautiful bowls and awesome back massagers. Tons of options for colors including dip, regular, and vegan. Our appointment was on time and lasted an hour. Definitely make an appointment though because these guys are going to be busy! We are planning a girls night here too for mani/pedi with wine and snacks! Super accommodating and am happy to welcome them to the neighborhood.

Horrible. The lady was so rough with my hands and constantly getting angry with me because my hands wouldn’t relax more but I couldn’t help it.. she also kept doing them horribly and I had to ask her so many times to fix it. I’ve never had someone do them so fast. Then when I went to pay it was $40 for a fill and they didn’t accept cash tips so I had to use their atm which charged me $3 fee for taking money out. Will never go here again!

Worst pedicure ever—don’t waste your money: $35 for classic which was a dip in water, a light scrub that didn’t reach my feet and I can’t even call it a massage. Cuticles weren’t trimmed just pushed back. Went through the motions in less than 30 minutes.There was debris on floor by my seat including nail clippings. New place but horrible…I do not recommend.

For the base pedicure and a drink the service I received was great! Nice massage, my pedicure looks good. No complaints, will be coming back for sure.

Love this place, I had an issue when I was there last time and they made it right and treated me extremely well after I threw a fit! They have a beautiful place and great staff! They do amazing nails too!

I took my son here for a luxury fun experience and was VERY disappointed! I paid for the TOP packages they offer for pedi & gel manis and was shocked how disappointing it ended up being. 1) they forgot our complimentary drinks until my sons pedi was done. And I had to ask. 2) the mani & pedi massages were supposed to be 15 & 20 mins each, but the mani was barely 5 minutes. And the pedi massage was definitely no massage but more applying lotion. 3) the seaweed wrap is no seaweed wrap. its seaweed gunk smeared all over and then youre wrapped in ace bandages. 😬🙄 4) the color selection is terrible for polishes, and theyre very unorganized. 5) I got my gel mani Saturday night and its now Weds night and more than 1/2 the nail polish is gone on my fingernails. 😡 6) the massage chairs suck, horribly.I am shocked I paid over $200 (not including tip) for these services! I do not recommend this place at all.I gave it 2 stars vs 1 because the staff was very nice.

First time going was for a relatives wedding and was not impressed. My pedicure chipped within 4 days and after a week the manicure started lifting and peeling. For the same price I’ve had manicures last two to three weeks.

I went here to get my nails and eyebrows done on 05-16-2021. I usually go to a place in Renton but I was in a rush and they were closer. Plus, the reviews gave me hope that I would receive amazing service. Unfortunately, I was completely wrong and this establishment proved why I dont like going places Im not familiar with. The man doing my nails kept talking about how he can do any style I want just choose something. I showed him what I wanted done which, for some odd reason, prompted him to ask my age. I asked him why and he said usually people that are younger want these type of nails. I dont know if he was just over confident in his abilities or he just simply didnt care about the service he provided me (probably a combination of both) but the end result was terrible especially considering I usually pay less than what they were charging. I told him I wanted my nails eyebrows and he said I would have to wait, which is fine. But after 15 minutes he comes and tells me he forgot about me but the lady is ready to do my eyebrows. Later that night, the polish peeled off my nails. I called the salon and left two voicemails seeing if someone could squeeze me in to fix it before I left for my vacation. I never received a call back and no one answered the phone. I went on my trip and the polish peeled off another nail. This wasnt even a week later. Then when I came back home I closed my door but didnt realize I wasnt close enough to use my fingers and instead my nails pushed the door and MY NAIL CAME OFF. THIS WAS ONLY 13 DAYS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The guy I was dealing with was very unprofessional and doesnt truly care about his work in my opinion.

The place is clean and relaxing. I chose an OPI nail color and they charged me for a Shallac pedicure. I asked for $35. And they charged $50. Didnt trim nails just did what they wanted and the polish is already coming off.. Hasnt been on 36 hours yet! Will NEVER go back

My friend brought me here for the experience shes use to. Of course with everything opening up and everyone going out for the first time in a year. Busy. But ok. 13 manicure chairs. 14 pedi chairs. Enough attentive staff to keep it moving. No jet foot bath. MY OCD was going mad. But after my long frustrated morning, a Mimosa and Pedi was much needed. Thanks friend and staff.

Do not waste your time or money. I even tried to point out the poor quality and was brushed off. I now have to pay to have my manicure and pedicure redone by an actual nail salon.

Just tried to call for an appointment, because well Covid, trying to be courteous. The man that answered the phone was yelling in a foreign language, didn’t even mention the business name and then all he said was “hello, what do you want” when I asked for an appointment he said they could get a full set “quickly” done In 20 minutes.... ummm nope! Maybe try answering the phone with a business like greeting, and not yelling. Really wanted to like this place!

Have been going here since they opened! Loved it so much brought my friends. We kept coming back , great pedicures, Don is my favorite nail tech. Today we are very disappointed that when checking out the price was way higher than last time and it was the same service. Asked why i was charged for a new set ... I never asked for a new set especially since you just put them on 2 weeks ago .... we paid and left. Called and asked how much a fill was and guess what it was$10 cheaper then I paid. Consistency is key to running any business. Back to my previous salon !

I have had the best experience at Pioneer Nail Bar. They have a very modern and elegant salon. It is immaculately clean and the staff are the nicest people with amazing customer service. I would recommend coming here to anyone. You spend good money on services. Go somewhere that treats you well when you come to their establishment. That place is Pioneer Nail Bar. Five stars!!

Just got my nails done for the third time today. I absolutely love that I can go 3-4 weeks with no lifting what so ever. Im very hard on my nails and have always had problems with lifting from other nail salons. Im very impressed with these guys and will suggest them when ever Im asked. The cost is a little high but well worth it.

My mom, 2 daughters and I tried this place Sat Aug 28th. We had made appointments to guarentee we could all get in at the same time. When we got there we were taken care of right away. The promptness was great but I also felt really rushed. It was not a relaxing experience at all. We had my 2 granddaughters with us also. The staff were all friendly. The pricing sheet claims to offer wine with a combo and all 4 of us got a combo but none of us were offered anything.My youngest daughter picked a color for her nails from the sample nail swatch but the gal doing her nails for some reason could not get the correct color she finally ended up telling the nail gal fine just do whatever after 4 attempts to explain which color she wanted including pointing directly to the sample nail.Prices are also on the high end. We will not be returning.Update: after just 7 days my daughters gel polish is peeling. Usually lasts at least 3 weeks.

Second time I have scheduled an appointment only to be told I had to wait 15 more minutes, last time I had an appointment I ended up waiting an extra 20 minutes I am done!

My mom and I tried this new nail place yesterday and had the most wonderful experience. Jimmy, the owner, was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. He is such a wonderful host that you feel like youre being entertained in his home. All of his staff are lovely. They introduced themselves and were always checking in to make sure we were happy. Best nail experience Ive ever had.

Went to Pioneer Nail Bar for a dip manicure after hearing some good reviews, as my regular nail salon was closed for the day. Appointment was timely and the staff were nice but that is about the only positive things I have to say. They definitely dont have much experience with dip- either removing it or putting it on. It took my tech an hour to remove my old dip, he did not know how to properly file nails, new dip was applied way too thin and when he attempted to do ombre glitter it looked so bad I made him take it off. I settled for rhinestones but even they look bad, as the instrument he used to apply them removed the gold color off the rhinestones so they are partially see through. They use a quick dry top Coat instead of a gel top and it so not as shiny and mine smudged right away. Not good value- quite expensive for the service and poor quality- definitely will not come here again and I dont recommend you do either.Highly recommend Pure Harmony nails /spa if you are wanting a dip mani. I have been going there since they opened and they do an amazing job.Edit: as I feared, three days later my thumb and index nails broke with minimal impact because the dip was applied so thin. I wish I could figure out how to Include a photo here. The rhinestones also lost all their color within a few days and were then colorless. I have since gone back to my regular salon and gotten my nails redone. What a waste of 60 bucks.

I was so excited to see a cute new nail salon opening so close to home. I went to get a pedicure on their first day and had a wonderful experience. The owner did my pedicure and my toes turned out great. The massage was amazing and an actual deep massage, not just a quick one. Will definitely be back! Welcome to the neighborhood!

I have now visited twice, in two days. I’m beyond thrilled with my experience for a gel fill and gel pedi, but it goes beyond that. Jimmy and his wife are the pros at the front door, so gracious and accommodating. The two different gals that took care of me (Julie and Linda) were sooooo tender and gentle, never made me feel rushed and each job was painless (you know some are unpleasant...) I truly, thoroughly enjoy this place, the atmosphere and customer service is fantastic!! I also love not being “up sold” and if you’d like a mimosa or glass of vino while you get spoiled, here’s your place!! Thank you Jimmy, you earned my business!

This place is super clean, and the staff seemed nice. Lots of color selections, and every type of manicure you can imagine is offered here. My issue is how they removed my gel pedicure. My technician used the power nail buffer, fine I thought she’ll probably soak my toes in nail polish afterwards once she buffs my nails. Nope, she used the power buffer to remove all of my polish. Not only is this bad for my nails, but it is also painful. I said ow a few times, but there was very clearly a language barrier as she thought I was just ticklish and not in pain. I know they just opened so I granted my technician some grace and went on with my service. I would encourage their management to seek more training, especially in gel removal techniques.

No gel clear coat on my dip nails = chipping within one day. Lax mask enforcement & fruit flies were also annoying. The nail tech & owner were really nice & professional - but with so many other options out there, Ill go somewhere else (actually I had to 2 days later to fix my nails)

Went in today for first time here due to it being located not even ten min from my house. I got acrylic with gel and pedi with gel. First off I will say my nails look very good and they did exactly what I asked. HOWEVER the color selection for nails is bare minimum (no joke) My pedi from start to finish was not even 20 min long and I paid for the “better” pedi. It felt very rushed and was not a relaxing time what so ever. Not to mention the cost was 115 dollars!!! The two places I go to that do a way better job and actually take time for you to enjoy your pedi cost 80 dollars. Also they have spa like prices but the other place I do go to looks more like a spa than this place. Kinda disappointed because I really did like the quality of the nail work and honestly would go back but not now after price and a rushed pedi job. But if you make over 7 figures feel free to drop in.

One of the best nail salons in Puyallup by far and I have been to A LOT of nail salons in Puyallup. They are incredibly friendly and professional. Definitely more pricey than other places but WORTH IT because the quality is better than other places as well. The woman who did my manicure even went back to fix a little mistake that was barely noticeable. They offer complimentary drinks, I had a lovely mimosa while my friend had white wine. The owner remembers his customers. I will keep coming back to this place for sure.

I was a walk in and let me say I was very impressed. The facility is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The staff was engaging enough but also respectful of those who wish to just relax, read, or just zone out. They use one time use sanitation products and clean multiuse tools between customers. The technician I had was very gentle and kind. They also offer beverages including white wine and champagne. They show you a menu of thier different service options, making it easy to choose something in your budget and with your preferences. They offer an array of polishes including vegan options. Would definitely recommend.

This is the third time I have gone and they are just wonderful. I have been able to go 3-4 weeks before getting a fill with minimal lifting. Thats with me being really hard on them and I have a history of having bad lifting.

They opened 5 days ago and its such a blessing! IM THRILLED to find a great nail salon, and look forward to my next visit. They are walk in, although I did an appointment. They have vegan nail polish and the colors are stunning & unique. The staff and owner are very friendly. If you are in the area, definitely give it a try.. It does take time and the pedi is definitely worth it. Your hands and feet will thank you.

I called to make an appointment for a mani/pedi, they were able to get me in quickly and I was seated and got the best foot massage ever. The salon is beautiful and so relaxing, I forgot about all the craziness going on right now. It was an amazing escape from it all. If I had come in later in the day, I would have indulged it a glass of wine 🤣. I will be making another trip when I need an escape. It was AMAZING.

Staff is rude. Went to make an appointment and all of the staff ignored us when we walked in then told us to make an appointment but walked away. Over hyped because they serve alcohol

Oh my god, this makes me want to cry. my friend took me here to get a fill, i normally go to a place up south. tony absolutely butchered my nails, i specifically got them done two days before my birthday and tony completely ruined them. they’re so lumpy, mishaped and uneven. he didn’t even ask me what shape i wanted or if i wanted them trimmed? it’s not letting me attach photos. never coming back, seriously upsetting.

This salon is awesome! Very nice and genuinely happy to have you as a customer. Very clean and efficient, clean as they go and detail oriented. I will be back for sure!

I am not happy at all I paid 65 dollars for chrome with acrylic I got no tips put on they are not shaped right or even I will never go back here again. They didnt even clean underneath my nails at all there is acrylic everywhere
