This is my favorite nail salon in the area. Every time I get my nails done they go out of their way to make sure I have an amazing visit. Fantastic experience! Warm, friendly nail techs and excellent service! I will be returning soon!

I have some very mixed feelings about this place…The good: VANXY!!! IF YOU EVER GET A SERVICE FROM HER. SHE PUTS SO MUCH CARE AND PERSONALITY TO HER SERVICE!!! SHE IS SO PLEASANT AND NICE TO BE AROUND :) I try to request her when I come here, however this salon takes as many people s they can, so sometimes she isn’t available.The not so good: I’ve been to salon a few times the past few years since it’s a block from where I live. As far as cleanliness, they have tried to update the wall paint, but the salon has super outdated and broken equipment. Ripped chairs. Broken arms rests, unkept nails stations, etc… you’ll see that they line some of their equipment with foil, and it’s very apparent the foil lining hasn’t been changed in years. Foil and work stations crusted with polish, acrylic dust, and so on.One concerning thing too is that they don’t seem to sanitize the chairs and mail stations after each customer. A quick sweep, no wipe down. Literally one customer after the other. They remote control for the chairs have layers of other people’s fingers and hand prints from the years.I don’t mind small talk with the ladies here, but if they do stay at the same mail stations, I stay away from the 2 ladies at nail station 3 and 4. The lady in station 4 is always very hasty, short, and snarky.The lady in station 4 did a pedicure for me, and was making little snarky comments and would use gestures to let me know what she wants me to do. If she wanted my feet up, instead of telling me “feet please”, she’s gesture to me like I was a dog. She would push my legs and feet in the water. And then while she was scrubbing my feet, instead of using complete sentences to tell me to lift my foot a certain way, she would just say “up” vaguely. When I couldn’t follow what she wanted she finally spoke a complete sentence but sarcastically. “How can I give you a pedicure if you’re not helping me?” She was even throwing her tools into the foot bath after using them. Not placing… not putting… not setting aside. THROWING. She was sighing and throwing a side eye.I don’t come to this salon often enough to say if I love it or if I hate it…. But I’ll come to this salon for Vanxy! I will tip Vanxy for always going above and beyond, but also coming in, I know that I would be my luck to usually end up with the lady from nail station 4. I suppose that’s what I get for not being consistent with the other salons I go to. I always feel like I’m downgrading myself when I come to this salon. And I just have to prepare mentally to be subtly disrespected when I come here. That’s what I get for “convenience”, I guess.

Very professional and nice. Theyre answers all my question . My nails very natural looks and the pedicure was extremely relaxing. They stayed 30 minutes after just to finish my pedicure. Highly recommend coming here!

As always, I am very satisfied with my results. My nails are amazing. We definitely felt pampered during our visit. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I wanted to book a quick appointment at nail salon, (as I had forgotten to make an appointment the day before), and they were very friendly even on the phone. I didnt have to wait to long, and my nails were done quickly and gently. The basic manicure even included a moisturizing wax dip and arm massage. The nail dryers werent the cleanest, but everything else was very nice.All in all, I received a lovely manicure for the cheap price of $18. My only complaint is that the top coat wasnt of the highest quality, as one or two of my nails have already started to chip at the tips at only 2-3 days old, also the top coat became a little scratched easily, but its not notifiable. Ive included photos, and the only thing Im really disappointed about is the chipped nail, but honestly, my experience with this salon was fantastic!!

My mom took me there for my first time getting acrylics we waited 1 hour then the sides and cuticles were in even they have ALL almost came off worst 50$ ever. Not to mention the cuticles didn’t get touched and they were orange for 2 weeks!! Disqousting do not recommend!🖕🏻🤮

I went for a pedicure with my daughter. It could use a cleaning. The person who did mine was rude. She wanted the chair really forward, but because of a serious injury to my ankle years ago it doesnt bend much. It was about what made her job easier, not how comfortable she made me. Wont go back.

While getting a new set of acrylic nails I got cut four times. No blood at least. The technician rushed and the nails were ok. Kinda crooked and kinda differing lengths. The gel paint work was alright. The price was reasonable. Overall a somewhat disappointing experience.Update: added a pic to show how close they got to grinding through my nail bed. Was painful for weeks. I have thin nails to begin with.

My first visit today and I was so relaxed at the end it felt like I was a new woman. Very well organized and staffed. The salon was quiet and relaxing! I got a great mani + pedi :) Ill be returning for sure!

They do not follow the health guidelines set for Covid-19, I never once saw them sanitize the tools they used, they charged more then the prices written on the wall, they do not do free gel even though its written on the wall and advertised outside, and then when we gave them a tip the lady said only this for 3 pedicures and was very rude about it. We will never be going there again.

I always go to New Nails. Friendly and prompt service. The basins are lined with a plastic sanitary liner and tools are clean. It is a busy shop with many chairs and lots of manicure stations. Usually 8 girls to do your walk in Pedicure or nail procedure. They have a vast array of almost every color O.P.I. lacquer nail color.. I always enjoy their company ..

This has been my main nail shop for months now! I have never had a broken nail, infection nothing. They do a great job. I have never had a wait and I dont make appointments with my schedule being so hectic. The ladies are very nice! They assist me when I ask for help. Great customer service. Do a great job on my eyebrows as well :)

Have been going here for a couple of years now and I get the best from Wednesday. She is my go to for my pedicure. Yes Im a guy and like my feet done to prevent torn sheets and ingrown toenail.

Always do I great job on my toe nails. Even though i wait too long and have the worst ingrown nails. All the ladies here do great.

Painted on the window on large lettering they say they give discounts to student and seniors. When I asked for the discount I was told no that only for fills. I had a pedi. Last time I was in I was told to bring in cash for a tip. No card. I wont go back

Was calling on this place for availability for my GF. Assumed I was getting it done and said that they dont do men and hung up LOL. Wow super unprofessional .

Went in for a pedicure and basically got a foot soak and a Polish. When I go in and pay money for a pedicure I expect a full pedicure. I will not be returning to this nail salon. I was however able to get right in and sit down but now Im sure I know why as they do not have very many returning clients.

Called in advance for a soak off & new set, went in, there were 2 women lounging around, told me I had to wait 20 minutes because they dont do fake nails🧐🧐🧐 soooo neither of you can get a bowl of acetone for me to put my hands in?? I walked 7 minutes to TK Top nails and was in a chair immediately! Dont waste your time unless youre white. Service is non-existent.

Just had my nails done dip manicure. The work is very bad. 62.00 with a pedicure and the ties are fine but the dip is horrible. They are so thick my nails look wide and not smooth. Looks like chewed gum on my fingernails. Ive been getting my nails done for over 20 years. I just moved to this area and so I visited this salon 1st and last time. The lighting in this place is bad too so you cant see the work until you have paid and walm outside, by that time I was so mad it would not of been a nice discussion.

My mom and I went to get pedicures and my mom got a really nice women who looked happy and energetic to be there caring for my mom. I however got an older lady who was very fast and acted as if I was bothering her, she slap my feet to have me guess to put them back in the water and she slapped my leg to get me to lift them higher. It was very odd. The lady doing my mom massage, massaged her legs good. My lady applied no pressure and was done before my moms girl who started the massage process first. I wont be back....

I am so thrilled with this place I personally do not go to this nail salon but my friend went there to have her pedicure repaired after getting an infection in Tacoma from Foxy Nails on 56th and M Street. She saw a gal named Dan and when she walked in she could barely walk in the door her feet hurt so bad her toenails were so infected and yucky and band did such a wonderful job repairing them and making them so that she could at least walk I say this is a miracle worker place and if you ever have a nail problem or need your nails done ask for band at New Nails in Puyallup on East Main love this place so grateful

Not clean,use old callous razors, I wont go back

The lady I had was nice told me I didn’t need a full set because my nails are beautiful and long as is and did a good job with the gel manicure I got I paid $25 surprisingly it’s the first nail salon that didn’t cut me BUT this is the only issue I can’t stand they re use the towels that’s on the manicure station it was gross makes me wonder what else they don’t change but other then that I liked this place

This place has gone down hill past couple years. Had brows waxed and more skin was taken off ttreatment. The bed cover was sailed, Floors are dirty, and not all customers given same trestment. Think will be last time here

I went in last Saturday and the lady rushed the whole time. Had her do a white tip which I paid extra for and it looked awful. Already had one of my nails fall off after one week. The fill was $40! I would have gave them zero stars if I could have! Don’t go here.

They are not good! The person gets mad at you for asking to do or not do certian things to your nails! They have almost no no colors to chose from! Theyre tools are not sanitized! You can see the filth from the person before you!

Awful! Not busy so I stopped in for a new set. I felt realived because the woman getting petties were chatting like they were regulars. Immediately I felt rushed and half -aased. Really rude telling me to wash my hands good. Noticed waiting for polish she didnt trim the underside. I go I pay and tip +20% hoping that at least the polish will look great. She thanks me...still half ass. Lady left me at the station to go chat with the ladies at the spas. Erg! 3 days later...nails lifting. Getting my fill done across the street.

Came here to get my acrylics off and the lady helping me took another nail tip and shoved them under my acrylics to rip them off. It hurt.

Great place for a good pedi. We drive 40 minutes past many other shops to come here.

They don’t try to engage with customers. Always seem in a hurry and mostly worried about their tip. My cuticles always peel and hurt after.

I went in here to have my acrylic nails taken off. The woman cut a small section off from each nail then shoved another fake nail under it and ripped my nails off. It was very painful. Halfway through a walk-in came in which made her hurry more accidentally stabbing me underneath my nail a few times. I kept saying it hurt, I knew this somehow was not the correct way to take off nails. I should of walked out but half my nails were already off. Your supposed to soak the nails to soften them... This was way rushed. My nails are so cracked and jagged and are still sore.

Yikes! Went for manicure ended up almost losing my finger to infection. Not sure if they used dirty equipment or if she dug at my cuticles and cut too short. Daily soaks, 2 trips to the doctor for draining and antibiotics. My doctor
