First time going here, and might not go back. Got my nails done on Monday, and theyre already chipping/ have chipped. And Im not doing anything different with my nails than I normally do. Also the black polish on my left hand is one coat vs the polish on my right which is two coats. Ive gone to other places for the same price and have had the polish last longer and better than this place...

I am new to puyallup and decided to try this place. The place is clean hence one star . I got a pedicure and as soon as she wasdone she rushed me out and said don’t touch nails on anything. I have been getting my pedicures from another place for years but now they are too far for me. Of course, the nails were still wet. So wet that as I drove when I got home the polish moved. The polish slid down for gravity. And their prices are higher. I get the whole bang at one place for the same price as here for half the bang.Go somewhere else

I’ve been going here for about a year now, I always ask for Nancy. She is very gentle, and asks every step of the way if I like them. Even though she knows exactly how I like them lol. She always leaves me and the people I recommend to her , happy. She takes the time to get to know me and I love her for that! I won’t stop going here as long as she’s working !

My first time, walk in. it was okay. only couple technicians. Only one coat of color. No option to dry u der UV light. Just had an over all feeling of inexpierence. Clientel seemed older mom types. i may just travel next time to get what i want to Tacoma.

Love this place. They always use clean, sanitized tools for their customers, unlike many nail salons. Wide variety of colors, and they offer so many things. The gals there are always so friendly. Love that its right by a Starbucks too!

If you go to this place toward the end of the day they will rush your nails. I went an hour before closing and they rushed to do my full set, it has been 2 days and my nails are already lifting. I had shellac nail polish done and the lady just left me sitting there I had to get up and ask are they going to spray alcohol and wipe them. I’ve been here a handful of times, and when I go in the morning my nails don’t seem rushed and look great.

I have been coming to Jc Nails for 5 years and they were always the very best. Now, with that said, for the past year that I have been coming to them I have gotten the complete opposite service. I keep telling myself every time I go in every 2 weeks to a month that it will he better. Nope. Today was the worst experience I have ever had with them. They left so much nasty stuff in my nails and when I told her she rolled her eyes and said it will come off when I wash my hands. Washed my hands and still not coming off. They have stamped my card in the same place 3 times and never wanted to fix it. Then she said it was going to be 35 dollars and that didnt make any sense because I know their prices. They gave me shellac and I didnt want shellac today and I did not ask for it. Their nails have been lifting after a week and a half and the shellac has not been making a difference so I did not want it. They are great for pedicures but I think I will be looking for another nail salon for my nails. Its sad that it has come to this, but I think its time I take my business and money elsewhere.☹

So when i first went in I asked for dip powder and had expressed in detail how allergic I am to acrylic and told the that even a top coat that as been used on acrylic nails is used on me I will have a serious reaction I also said I can even go buy a top coat or any thing if you dont have one I can use and they reassured me I will be fine and that it hasnt touched acrylic nails. Well they lied the very next day as Im half asleep itching like crazy I took off the nails in pain and blisters from the nails its over a week later and my fingers are still in pain and skin is missing so I go in to get a refund for thenails I only had on for a day and payed 60$ for any they told me to bad they dont do refunds and I said where does it say that it legally needs to say that some where and she said I dont know. And it wasnt posted any where she just was not gonna give me my money back and just wanted me to leave lady who did my nails started arguing with me and blaming me so please dont go here also my nails where crooked but over all ok also tools not very clean.

Generally fast and efficient nail care. Not really a spa setting as clients are not afforded the opportunity to set and relax. They get you in and get you out as quickly as they can. Staff are generally friendly.

I use to love JC nails until they got super busy. Which I know it isn’t they’re faults because everyone likes to go there. But when you try to go on a random week day at an early time and they still go way to fast on you nails and you have three nails break by a week and a half that’s not good. That’s not all of it and they look like they’re half way coming off too.. I pay $30 to have them done and a really good tip too. That’s way to much to pay to only have them for one and half weeks. I’m sorry but I think I’ll use my $10 off comp and that’s all. Make sure they treat you right too. There’s one lady who yelled at my mom because her hands where to stiff. Didn’t even ask her nicely to loosen up a bit. It’s abojt respect too.

I’ve been coming here for 9 months every 2 weeks. I spend about $200 a month here. My family and friends go here as well. Today I had the worst experience. I got the dip powder done and picked a nice pretty blue. It began to darken to a dark green/blue within minutes. I let the gal know that I did not like it at all and wanted to pick a different color. She grew upset and was being very rude. Not to mention she fought with me on the color and she kept getting mad at me becuase I had stiff hands. While this is all going on, they’re rushing faster and faster. I paid $55 for a nice manicure just to have them skip the cuticle treatment as well as the hand and arm massage. I am not pleased with the service I got today. Will likely not be returning after that event. The staff that worked with me was very very rude.

I went to JC Nails for the first time today. I got a full set and against my better judgment eyelash extensions. My nails turned out fantastic however my eyelashes are DESTROYED. I dont even think they are licensed to be able to do lash extensions. It burned my eyes while she was putting them on and when I said something she said oh its just because its your first time. When she was finished I looked in the mirror and instead of going along the shape of my eyelid they were in a straight line. It looked terrible. I said that they werent on my lash line so she had me lie back down and fixed them she did nothing but add a few more. Within a few hours they were falling out. They were ripping out my eye lashes. Please whatever you do, DO NOT get eyelash extensions from them!!

Barely any glue was put on when my tips were applied causing the corners to stick up, I asked for thin natural looking acrylics and she put on huge lumps and they didnt blend to my cuticle there is a visible line between the acrylic and cuticle looking like I already need a fill, the paint job was not straight there is wavy lines at the bottom of my nail she was trying to clean up her mess from getting polish not on my nail and some of my acrylics are crooked

I think this is the best nail salon ever. theyre very nice everything is clean and they do a good job on manicures and pedicures I would highly recommend this for anybody who theres nails done.

Went to JCs yesterday to get my nails done for a Wedding. Loved the place. The lady that did my nails did a Beautiful job. I got number 33 Cat Eye. I found my new Nail Salon, and the price is right too.

I went there a couple days ago and I had the WRORST experience ever. I go in to get my nails filled now 1 of my nails was broken and the acrylic had popped off of 2 others. No big deal. The woman who did my nails did such a bad job shaping my nails some of them were significantly shorter that the rest. I go to wash my hands and I almost start crying it’s so bad. Normally I wouldn’t have spoken up but it was so bad I had to. So I ask the woman if she can fix them. She gets mad and calls another woman over to fix my nails. She was rude as well and was irritated that she had to fix my nails. She filed the acrylic so far over that you can see my real nail on the sides. She also filed hard she split my thumb open. I wasn’t bleeding so that’s good but I did have to cut the skin away. The 2nd woman gets done fixing them and the 1st woman comes back to paint them. When she finishes I go dry and pay. To get your nails filled is $15 they charged me 8 extra dollars to add a fake nail to my pinky and to put the acrylic on 2 other nails where it had chipped off. At this point I was so frustrated that I just wanted to leave so I just paid the money and left with my nails still wet because I didn’t want to stay any longer than I had to. Unless you enjoy a terrible nail experience then don’t go here.

My fiancé went to JC Nails to get a manicure before our wedding. He didnt want anything special, just a basic trim, but his nails look absolutely terrible. The manicurist trimmed them so that they are extremely uneven and actually cut them down to the quick in places, even though he grew them out before the appointment so that there would be lots of nail to work with. She didnt buff his nails at all, nor are they shaped properly. Do NOT go here!!! As someone who has tried a wide variety of salons, this is the worst manicure Ive ever seen.

Ive never had a Mani or pedi before so my SIL decided we needed to go! Foot soak, scrub, hot stone massage, and more. It was so relaxing. Got to sit in a massage chair as well.I got regular polish on my toes and gel on my nails, theyve never looked so good. The lady cleaned my cuticles up amazingly, they were dry, brittle and horrendous. Its been over a week of helping my SIL pack and move, rearranging my house, doing dishes, showering, being a mom etc and my nails still look amazing like I just got them done. (other than growing out) I heard this was one of the better places to go to and I dont think I could go anywhere else.They were out of towels next to the cabinet but had a clean basket near by, and I had a hard time understanding them. Im not up on nail lingo so I wasnt really sure about the questions, and their mouths were usually covered by masks, my SIL did take me so she helped. I feel like thats more my problem but as someone who doesnt always do this its always been intimidating to try. 🙈 Also, this place was packed, we waited 10-15 minutes and people never stopped crowding the entry.

Im going to tell you Im still traumatized from my 21/2 hrs.spent in this joint yesterday.Treated my 14 yr.old to her first set of acrylic nails..she was excited.I requested a simple spa mani/pedi.Was supposed to be 30.Now 35....but the kicker is.I was told to go now put your feet in water.No salts were added n when I put my feet in the water scalded my 59yr.old feet.Just retired from nursing so my feet are sore.I screamed out took my feet out n yes they were red.No one came to adjust the water no one said are yoh alright!Nadda attempt to care.Then an older lady came out from a napp n came over no greeting m lifted my feet and emerged them Again in the water.I said dont thhis water is hot! Im burnt.I need cold water.She didnt add water she just stared at me.I said do you understand English Not response! I then asked the other girl to translate. So what she decided to do is just skip the soak n trim my nails..I said dont cut down the sides,She DidAnd cut me! I said Ouch!!She n other girl Laughed!Omg how cruel!! I should of left butmy 14yr.old was with me.Now she just files on my skin bed not my nail hurting me again.I told her to skip that.So now she goes on to put callous gel on my legs not my heels n she scrubs.Causing pain from the salts n abrasives in it.I told her to give me a wet towel and I d take it off.She could not read the label on the bottles and didnt kniw where to put the product.Untrained staff and didnt Care What si ever.And then another lady offered the parrifin to bottoms of feet.yes that sounded good. I asked to make sure its cooled first,but No..she emerged my whole foit in the badmg n squished the hot wax over my burnt footAgain.Thats it!I flipped out n yelled YOUR burning me again.I insisted on cold water immediately to avoid 2 burns...you know cold water as first aide?? I begging ar this point n customers are watching this all take place.Ive been coming here for 9 yrs.and Im Done and Im telling anyone who will listen to Not subject yourself to this blatant abuse.All they care about is getting your money.Oh then sheWanted to charge me for the Luxury spa pedi$45.00.They got alot of nerve and I stood mu ground.I said no I asked for tge reg.mani pedi NOT that one.She got rude pointing at the price menu n insisted on the $$.I gave her $35. Gave 43.for my nieces full set and we existed. AND Of Course No flippin tip.WorstTrip to a nail salon Ever...Please find a salon that treats you with kindness respect and gives you good safe service.Worst Salon Ever!! Calling BBB too!

The staff at JC are very courteous and skilled. While there are other salons closer to my house, I have returned to JC for several months. The leg mesdage I had last time with my pedicure was the best Ive ever had. The shellac application lasts a long time. The only reason I wouldnt recommend them would be to not make the salon more crowded! But these folj3a are a great find.
