Honestly I love this place. A good friend of mine started taking me here a few months ago to pamper ourselves and now Ive been back with her every two weeks. They are always able to get us in even if we forget to make an appointment. Their work is always amazing and theyre quick and diligent! The customer service is top notch for sure.

The lady kept hitting my skin with the drill and I would pull away and she would do it again. She rushed through it without trying to make them look smooth and uniform, I asked her to make them a little shorter and she cut them down below my finger tips, I wanted square round, some are and some arent, my daughter got her nails done also by a different lady with the same results. Ive gone here in the past and never had a problem, but I wont be going back.

Found out that they dont clean their tools after my pedicure, gave me a horrible nail infection which resulted in me going to the hospital and having a quarter of an inch of nail removed as well as the start of gangrene . DO NOT GO HERE!

We have had the same 2 people both times my friend and I went and I have been super pleased. They take time on my toes and being pre-diabetic I am trying to stay up on my feet... it does seem very crowded and there are no partitions between the people getting manicures or pedicures but they clean all the chairs and everything every time... I love the massage chairs and have left both times very happy with my service.

Been going to ivy nails for years. I come in with a picture of a design and they make it happen. Lots of staff, moderately priced.

Use to be my go to place. Went in recently to get a dip manicure for $55. When I asked for my cuticles to be soaked and cut he charged me another $5 like it wasnt part of a normal manicure. Wont be going back. What a rip off

Went in for a spur of the moment pedicure. Ask for some tulips on my big toe. They went WAY above my expecting of customer service and the ability to actually paint detailed nails. I will totally be going here from now on

The man that did my pedicure cut my toenails way too short and my big toes hurt so bad!! It hurts to walk and it has been 3 days. My skin is on my toes from I don’t even know what. I am praying I don’t get an infection and everything is ok!! I’ve never ever had a pedicure this horrible....never going back.

Yen at Ivy nails in Puyallup did an amazing job with my terrible nails. I HIGHLY recommend her. She was extremely gentle and very detailed. I have very sensitive/soft nailbeds so this was a big deal for me!

Its a good atmosphere, friendly staff, clean, decent prices. Not the greatest at nail designs, though. Ive only been 4 times making sure I gave it a fair shot but have only been satisfied with the design once. Also, today the nail tech made 4 toes bleed. Maybe a little rusty due to the Covid-19 stay-at-home orders. Will continue to look for my usual nail salon.

I had my nails done in this facility on Friday. 3 days ago. My nails are already lifting and the cuticle portion is so bumpy it is snagging in my hair and on my.clothing. I tried this place, but I will never go there again.

I asked if they would fix an awful acrylic job from the week before. Cleaning it up was a chore, I knew it was going to be painful, but it was pretty minimal. She was extra gentle, and I have very thin nails. After she fixed the shape I asked for special coloring, another girl brought me colors for over 30 minutes til she could match the pic on my phone. Then I asked for a special design. I was there for well over an hour, and they were so sweet the whole time, to all my demands.

Came as a walk-in and I couldnt be happier! Anne was amazing at creating my perfect nails for my engagement photo shoot! Definitely a good spot to get your nails done :)

I got my nails done today and although the woman who did my nails was VERY nice and sociable, the quality was mediocre at best. I asked for matte in the beginning and she forgot and had to redo the top layer. I asked for a sunflower painted on the pointer fingers and I’m not sure what flower this is. The worst part is, here it is less than 12 hours later and the gel polish is peeling off.

My nails were lumpy and I ask if I could just get the color I when in for they said no...then I simply wanted a longer set she tried to put powder on my regular short nails ?? I never been told it cant be done. I think they didnt wanna do it ombre because they dont know how!

I didn’t want to listen to the negative reviews, but I wish I would have. I got a new set today and a couple of them are going in weird directions, they are ALL different lengths, they are all different shapes, and they all have little bumps all over them. To make it worse, it felt like they simply didn’t care. First and last time coming here.

Been here a quite a few times over the years. Generally very friendly, great safety protocols in place post covid closure. Service and level of work can be inconsistent.

I have never been disappointed going here. They are all great.

Quality of work is not as good as most salons Ive been to. Had to get my dip nails touched up due to the very amateurish job. Lash extensions came out very quickly.

We’ve been to this salon several times and not had any issues however our last visit was terrible. I had a dip / manicure as well as a pedicure. She couldn’t find the color I picked for my nails and didn’t say anything until after she had already finished and set the color. The lady who did my pedicure cut my toe while trimming the nail when I said “ow!” And pulled back, she immediately said “oh you must have had cracked skin!” It bled where she cut it and My toe is now swollen red and Infected!We definitely will NOT be going back!!! Disgusting!

Ive tried several places and this is MY FAVORITE. Very talented artists and very nice people here. Today I came close to closing time thinking I might not have enough time. I was still sat and even though I was the last client my nails were not rushed and everyone there was still cheerful, talkative and very pleasant. My nails are beautiful and I could not be happier with their services.

This is a great place to get your nails done! Face it, theres a million places to get your nails done, for basically the same price, they all give a lotion hand massage. Same price, same service. So whats so special about this place? They have a free hot wax bag wrap for you hands after your manicure and lotion massage! This place rocks! No one speaks much English, everyone is kind & accomidating. Im not going there for psychotherapy; so I dont care if they dont speak much English. They are kind, & they do a great job! If English is a deal breaker for you, then dont go, & then complain about it.If youre like me, & its no big deal; be forewarned, this place is ALWAYS busy. Allow for 10-15min wait time, every time.

For nails and pedicures this place is fine. However, for lashes - DO NOT go here! My sister and I went there for about 6 months - we ended up going somewhere else and found out that she didnt know what she doing. Instead of putting one extension per lash - she was layering them on top of each other! It stunted the growth of our natural lashes and because she was clumping glue on top of glue - we had bacteria growing on our lashes and eyelids!! My niece was also going there and had to had her removed because she was gluing the extension to her eyelids!!! She ended up with an infection. She is not experienced and you will soon regret it. Pay the extra money and go to somebody with experience.

I go here so often the people know who i am. There very nice people and treat you very well its absolutely great!! My nails always look fabulous and they have amazing color choices!!

Pierce County got the green light 2 days ago for salons to open. I make an appointment via their Facebook page. Get to the appointment & they have no availability. Gentleman @ booth indicates 30mins. I okd.I get informed its my turn. I go to pick out the Pedicure of my choice & they have put black tape over the $30 & $35 pedicures. Which means cheapest option for your feet is now $40. I agreeWhen its time to get my nails done, I am informed a overlay with shellac polish will be $45, which normally is $26. I inform Ill take the regular paint. The woman doing my nails tried to persuade me & speak about how they are trying to get everyone in and out fast & by getting shellac it speeds up my dry time. I inform I will get the normal polish, she oks.When i get done, the gentleman at the counter asks me if I wanted a fan. At this moment I realized they didnt even have the dryers plugged up. I asked him why and he states to eliminate things in their waiting area.So because I chose to not spend more money for shellac, you no longer can fulfill my service? Which im sure includes drying. I understand recouping cost from the shutdown, but this was absolutely a terrible experience. I never had an issue with this location at prior visits.

Ann is the best. They are very friendly, kind, whenever I go get a pedicure they always ask is it to hot. They are really careful when they do you eyebrows and really good at eyelashes. I will always come back.

Ann gave me an acrylic fill with a gel polish, and she did a great job at a very decent price! She was quite thorough, verifying with me throughout the process to make sure they were fitting my preferences. And she was quite efficient! Will definitely be returning. ;)

Ive been going to ivy nail spa for 8 years now. They recently changed owners (great thing). Everybody does a wonderful job. I recently started getting my eye lashes done there by Ann. Nothing but great words for her. I get numerous compliments about how beautiful they are.

First visit was good. This visit. I arrived 10 minutes before opening. Open sign comes on. Two ladies rush the door. I end up being third in the door. Told to pick color and sit down. Lady 1&2 get nails started. Ladies 4&5 come in. Lady #5 gets her nails started. Then they started on Lady #4. That’s when this Lady got up and left. Sitting at Canyon Nails right now getting my nail done.

It was an ok experience the guy who did my nails was kinda rough and rude. Didnt have a sink to wash hands in and left acrylic all over my hands and fingers. Plus $50Bucks for a fill is outrageous definitely wont be going back here. Kayla nails only charges 25 bucks if she wasnt so busy I would have went there. 🙄

I came to the place because of its reviews and Im very disappointed. They gave me a spa pedicure without even asking me what I wanted. Im allergic to the Perifin wax. Second I got my nails done and they are all different shapes. Are they square or round? This was my first time here and I will not be going back. And they also charged me $61 for this! Its outrages. I very much regret it.

Love this place, they do great work and I never feel rushed and I am able to relax and my nails always last 3+ weeks before I need a fill again. Never had a nail fall off and I always walk out feeling like a million bucks :)

Went in to see Ann based upon a referral and had the literal worst experience I have ever had with my nails. I asked for ombre dip and was clear that if she wasnt confident in it that I could choose something else. She said no problem, then proceeded to put shellac over the top of my dipped nails. 😱😱 Not only do they look so bad, but she got shellac allllll over my hands... like all over. Horrendous job!! They are nothing like what I showed her.

Im super bummed this was my TO GO place. Went in today right at opening 9am to do dip. I showed 3 pictures that they couldn’t do (which really they weren’t anything spectacular) so I ended up just doing a white tip. I didn’t get out of there until 10:40am. And my nails weren’t horrible, but the shape and length was a little off but it looked like I had a new girl who was learning and I’m ok with that! We all have to start somewhere. I went to cash out and it was 55$ just for a white tip dip. No fake nails or gems or anything except a white tip. I couldn’t believe it but it was super busy and didn’t want to cause a scene. As I was driving to work I was looking at my nails she didn’t even clean the back of my nails and the shapes and length were quite different. I don’t think $55 was a fair price at all. The month before that I did a nude nail with blue ombré with lots of gems and it was $50 which was worth it to me the guy did a fantastic job on. After my experience today I will not be going back for basic work at a high roller price.

Im a frequent customer and Ive always and had pretty good service, with the exception of today. I dont know her name, but the lady that did my nails was extremely rough. I only had shellac, but she completely shaved my nails down trying to take the polish off, and my nails are already thin enough. She then proceeded to yank my hand forward and twist my arm in directions its not supposed to go, and then insisted that I needed to relax. She was extremely rough on my fingers. She was very sloppy when she went to polish, wiping the polish off a few times with a cloth, and only polishing two nails at a time and had me switching hands back and forth. She even cut me twice with her fingernails trying to scratch the polish off of the sides of my fingers. Overall Im VERY disappointed with the service I received today. I will still come back, but Ill make sure not to allow her to do my nails. My fingers will be sore for at least three days...

I made an appt for 4 people in advance. Each one of us had to wait longer than the first. We didnt even sit near eachother. And my nails were done horribly. The lady kept moving my hand harshly, i felt like it was going to sprain. And she painted them so fast. The nail polish and acrylic was VERY lumpy. I will not be returning.

Been twice and was very impressed that they seem to have enough staff to actually handle walk-ins which I was both times. Other salons say they take walk ins but you get a lot of can you come back in 1.5 hours the only surprise was I asked for shellac mani - she convinced me to do acrylic overlay on my nails-no tips-and then painted with shellac - said this way it should last two weeks - but I never got the mani part. Nails look great and am happy with result but was surprised with no mani????

Honestly I like this place, but like Kiana said, the last time I went I received service from a lady who kept telling me to relax.....She also cut open three of my fingers. She forgot to give me manicure too, even tho it should be included in the price I paid. I think I will have to make sure she doesnt do my nail whenever I go.
