I have lived here now going into my second year. After the death of my son I was a lost soul. I had to fine a new place to live and was shocked over the increase rental prices in avondale as I had not lived in an apartment in over 20 yrs. But I can honestly say the office staff put my mind at ease from the start they where very kind. Made my apartment rental experience stress free. I have never stop by leasing office with an issue that was not resolved the same day. And the staff and property teams work diligently daily to keep things clean and nice on this property! Thanks so much for all you do!! You are appreciated 👏

Horrible place look elsewhere. Roach infestation I had to purchase my own chemicals to kill roaches. No parkings EVER try not to get kidnapped while parking outside the apartment complex. I had to pay to get the carpet cleaned once I first moved in I mentioned to the staff never got reimbursed. And still paid again to have carpets cleaned. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

Its absurd. I have at least 5 numbers for this complex, and none of them are correct. I get different information about the complex depending on what number I call. The maintenance and leasing staff Ive physically spoken with only have a passing familiarity with the English language, and the roach situation is unreal. Ive had to take it upon myself to buy those electronic pest repellents and get my own spray bottle of roach spray. The only good thing about this complex is the rates and honestly, I can see now why its so cheap.

They never answer the phone, and when they do, they all give you different information and nothing is consistent. I moved out 2 months ago and I thought I didnt have to deal with them anymore but I still have to call about final fees and such. I try to call to resolve an issue but it takes so many calls before they pick up....

This place is horrible they always close the gates to early and open to late . no parking spots I have to park my car all the way around behind the apartments It’s ridiculous I have to park my car in the middle of the street at the Sidewalk. I almost get kidnapped cuz of walking alone at night after work

My family have been a resident of their apartment for three years now. Everything is good, the surroundings, the amenities and even the price, its much cheeper. But when it somes to their staff or employees, I would definitely agree to everyone whos saying they are rude and they will not treat you nice. Just today I went to their office to confirm the notice of intent to terminate that we received. Stating that we havent paid our rental fee yet for the month, which I definitely did using my personal check and they even deducted it already in my personal check, and take note this is not the first time it happens to us but this is the third. So i went to the office to clarrify their mistakes and just to experience the rudeness of their employees. They told me to pay the late charges and that is already on their system, they just want me to be back on the next business day to deal with my problem. They should have dealt with their problem or mistakes in a professional manner. They should have said sorry and will do something about it, but instead I was treated with disrespect, I wasnt expecting that. If you want to be respected make sure you show respect to your residents complaining about your own mistakes. I guess this is going to be our last contract staying in this apartment base from what we have experienced. Not to mention, if you are a resident of this apartment, your phone call to the office will never be answered even though it says they are busy which is not, based from my experiences. Hopefully no one will experience the wrong treatment of their staff to anyone anymore.

Have had problems with the office staff since the very beginning of renting. They will never answer the phone during business hours but when they do, they are always rude when talking to you & will repeatedly cut you off, then hang up on you before you can even get a word in. Even when you walk into the office they will act the same way with you.

I wish I could give zero stars. Worst staff ever. Never have I had to encounter such unprofessional staff that are no help. Always have an attitude and making assumptions before even asking for your name to open your account. Oh and they neverrrrr answer that office phone, always have to go hunt them down. With this complex be sure to keep everything they give you on file. Every notice everything you sign. I would never recommend. Whatever you do, DO NOT lease with them or the Heers Management complex. The worst!!

I was just fina rent here until I seen all these post ughHow can y’all continue to apologize to your tenants but haven’t did anything to fix the problem???i have seen every tenant speak horribly about y’all representatives so it has to be some truth to it & I can clearly see why you guys are not even a 3 on your rating! I am a tenant at Del Mar Terrace apartment. This place is the worst place to rent from. Nothing is updated they have issues with roaches.But the worse thing is having to deal with some of the disrespectful employees that work in the office. I was told one-thing by one of the girls and than accuses of lying by 3 others that they were verbally abusive. They stated if I was not happy to leave. They will find ways to not honor offers for lease renewal. Save your money and find somewhere that will value you as a tenant.Everything about this place sucks starting with the dummies that work at the office..

Called them about this twice now , 1st time they NEVER came to fix it. Now I have to live like this everytime it rains? Dont come rent here there not fixing this.

I have been renting at Del Mar Terrace for about 7 months now and I love it! This is actually my first apartment that I have rented and I could say the office staff is very friendly & helpful with explaining everything to me from the start. I have my own full size washer & dryer in my apt PLUS I love that they have a store on the property, definitely very convenient! So far I havent had any issues I can say I live peacefully here especially given the beautiful green grass they have all throughout the property, as long as it remains the same I do plan on renewing another year once my lease is up.

Everything is so bad theres no good service I lived there for 1 year and it was the worst the office did not do nothing about what I complained the machines they give to you dont even work properly and its so dirty outside the maintenance dont even keep clean outside they are just talking outside of the office honestly dont recommend leaving there also when they gave me the apartment it was so gross they didnt not clean it not painted it good. Also forgot to add but they charge you a lot for water I was the only one living in my apartment and I almost paid 100 come on how

While i was being processed to move in here i came online to see the review and saw plenty about how rude the office ladies were. I thought to myself how everyone was over exaggerating only because the lady who was helping me process my paperwork was so nice to me. But now only living here for barely 3 weeks, when I’ve been up to the office a couple of times they’ve been so rude, talk with attitude and act like they are more superior than you. They make me regret moving here.I dont understand why there are so many complaints about them and yet they are still there. Who do i got to talk to in high management to get new offices ladies?0 stars

I wanted to share my experience with this apartment complex. My husband moved here in 2018, at apt 2197, then I took over the apartment. At that time, I realize it was a reasonable rates because of the area. I started seeing a lot of roaches and dog poop on the sidewalk leading up to the apartment, the bushes was always high. The complex brought in professional pest control and I didn’t see any roaches anymore. I tolerated the dog poop and high bushes in bldg 17 until June 2020 when I contacted the corporate office. I seen a change for a small period of time.My plans was to move out of this complex when my lease was ended. I signed a letter to vacate. I couldn’t find any apartment with move in on June 30 of last month. The apartments that were available at a later date was very high in price. I contacted the rental office and asked if my apartment had been rented. I was told it was. A few days later, I contacted the Property Manager, Laura and ask if there was anything available. She informed me that there was nothing available at that time, but if something came available she would contact me. She did contact me and told me that she had a renovated 2 bedroom available. I told her that I would like to take it. My family begged me not to take it. They told me I don’t deserve to live in this bad area. I took it anyway. I moved in on Monday, June 28. At that time, I seen a cat on the patio. I went back to the rental office to speak with Property Manager, Laura I informed her I am highly allergic to cats and scared of them. At that time, she acted so concerned and pulled my neighbor’s rental file to see if there was a pet agreement on file, and there was none. She realize that my neighbor was moving out on June 30 and assured me everything would be fine.When I arrived home on June 30, I noticed 2 cats at the 1st level of my apartment building 14, my neighbor on the 1st floor walked me upstairs to my apartment . I then realized that my neighbor who moved out left her windows up to her apartment.At 4:45 am on July 1, I heard loud scratching noises. I realize it was the cat from the day before scratching the screen on the neighbor’s vacant apartment. I called the maintenance hotline and left a voicemail. I was walking out of my apartment and realized the cat had tore the screen open and was in the apartment. I called the maintenance hotline at 6:20 am and was able to speak to a maintenance worker. I told him about the incident. When the rental office opened, I called and spoke to Property Manager, Laura and told her what happened. She informed me that she would talk to the General Manager and see what could be done. I never heard back from her, so at 1:15 pm I called her back and she told me that there was nothing she could do. I then asked did the maintenance worker tell her about the screen being tore. She said she was too busy to check on that. I then told her about a company called All Animals Rescue & Transportation LLC that I had seen online and asked if she could call to have the cat picked up. She told me that residents should call. I was so shocked at her nonchalant behavior, because when she wanted me to get the apartment and I gave her my deposit and 1st months rent she acted so caring and now she was acting like she didn’t care.I got home tonight at 8:40 pm. The screen wasn’t fixed on the vacant apartment and 2 cats was in apartment, I was so scared I went to pick my son up to go with me in my house. It’s so sad that I just paid $1650 and is very uncomfortable in my own apartment. I would like to point out that when I lived in building 17 #2197 I always paid my rent, apartment was clean with no holes in walls, I never had no complaints on me. I am up late and very unhappy and mad and even though I am a Christian and I pray to GOD daily and nightly. I literally dislike the Property Manager, Laura. Please be careful when moving here they don’t care about tenants.If you decide to move here, DO NOT TAKE APARTMENT 2235 in building 14. There are cats in the apartment right now. I hear them now!!! I can’t sleep!!

The landscape is amazing. The ladies in the office are courteous and helpful. The maintenance team helped us with our a/c and were very prompt.

If you want BED BUGS this is the place to be. This is my first time living in apartments and I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. They’re rude and block your calls just to not deal with you. Save your time and money DON’T LIVE HERE.

If i could 0 stars, I will gladly give them. If you see any positive review about this place, it is probably from people that were paid to write them. Trust the negative reviews; there are valid reasons for them. I did not get to live there; just the application process made me stop and re-think my options. This might be long to read but please do so before you decide to apply so you dont go blind and lose money with the application fee.The first time I was shown the apartments, the associate had no enthusiasm at all; normally apartments are looking for new tenants and want to show the future tenants the bright side of the place; well that definitely did not happen. She barely said a word. I let it go and tried again another day. That second time was better as well as all the other times I spoke to her, and we decided to start the application process which was the worst decision ever.One if the requirements was us having to give our current apartment a 30 days notice; dont get me wrong, I know they need to verify we are good tenants and pay on time. But how could someone possible give their 30 notice without knowing if the other apartment is going to approve you or a manager has at least review the application? Like a least let me know: hey the credit score, payments is good, just waiting for verification from your current apartments? No other apartment has requested that notice before letting me know if everything in the application is good to go; I have never heard such a thing in my life and it is ridiculous.I politely requested to please speak to the manager in charge to see if she could at least tell me if everything else was good before sending the 30 notice to my current apartment (I only wanted someone who could help me).Well, I must say she is the worse manager and person I have ever encounter myself with and thats saying a lot since I have worked in customer service for over 6 years. Her name is Christi, and when she picked up the phone, she started talking without even saying hello; without even allowing me to say my name or not a single word, no pause from her. She started saying she was aware of what was going on and that was the policy and if I was not happy, then pretty much that was not her problem; she was not going to even review the rest of the application without the 30 days notice. I literally just said: excuse me because I needed to ask her a question and she was not even giving me a chance to speak. Without even saying anything else, she said rudely: I cannot not understand you and I am going to transfer you. Really??? I only said excuse me, what is there to understand? I kept saying excuse me so she could at least stop talking and give me a chance to try to say something, but that never happened. Christi just kept talking, interrupting me and instead of transferring, she hanged up on me.Saying that she was the worst manager and person I have ever talked to is definitely an understatement; those are kind words to describe her lack professionalism, ethics, manners and many other things.If the owner of the company reads this, please evaluate more careful those reviews regarding the lack of customer service skills from other customers; it really needs an improvement and definitely a new manager.

I had the worst experience at these apartments I wanted torent like a month or two ago and one of the employees I think it was the manager told me that I can’t just because she said and I went again with my mom a week later she almost screamed at us and kick us out I would never return to those apartments again

Been here since January and the front end looks nice while the back of the parking lot has been tore up for 2 months you are better off parking on the street but it’s sad u have to carry kids groceries etc from one side of the complex to the other the staff really don’t care because they get paid and they don’t live here I also had to get rid of roaches that I didn’t bring they were there when I got into my place water is off several times a month yet you still have to pay the same for it also having to deal with dope addicts sleeping on your steps can’t wait to move

Horrible staff, attitudes are horrible and the requirements change when they want them to. The only thing they did that was good was give me my admin fee back. This was my first encounter with applying for an apartment in AZ and if all of the processes are like theirs I’ll gladly pass! BTW the managers are just as rude and don’t give af so requesting them won’t even matter!

Del Mar Terrace Apartments they are a horrible place to live. There are roaches that come out of the sink and outlets. We had to put down our own chemicals to try and get rid of the majority because there pest control sucks. When we first moved in they did not clean the apartment there were the previous occupants prescription drugs still in the cabinets and dishes. It looked like they cleaned the carpets but there were roaches in the carpet dead/alive. If you get the apartments where you have to park your car near the soccer field you take a chance of getting your windshield smashed in. The soccer players always kick it over the fence and hits everyone’s cars due to the fence not being high enough. Management will not do anything about your broken windshield we were told it’s not their problem even though this is their property. They will tow you even though you pay for your own parking space. The water that you pay for never stays hot long enough to take a bath/shower. The front office ladies are completely unhelpful they will talk to you as if you are beneath them. I highly recommend looking for somewhere else to rent than to rent from Del Mar Terrace Apartments my family and I highly regret it.

Okay place if you need cheap rent, we had bugs and leaks and strong odors, most recently our ac has been out for 5 days and when we called for maintenance he knocked on the door, didn’t even come inside to our apartment and handed me a paper that said it had been fixed. Two days later and an additional call it’s midnight and 87 degrees inside our apartment, maintenance was supposed to show up yesterday. Like I said good for cheap rent but know what you’re getting into

If you want to live with mold, scorpions, termites and roaches, this is a great place for you!

My 80 year old Aunt lives here absolutely despicable!!! Roaches and more roaches, Termites gates never work shady people all hours of the night!! WORST MANAGEMENT STAFF AND MAINTENANCE AND STAFF EVER!! Sad when the manager even says This is a horrible place to live Stir very clear if these apartments!!!

Im happy to say that for the 3 years i lived there i experienced great customer service and felt very safe knowing their security staff was patrolling the complex day after day specially in Maryvale.. I recommend Delmar Terrace 100%..also gotta mention the staff is super friendly and have plenty consideration thru rough times

FOR THE PRICE THEY ARE GREAT.at first i hated it, but it really grew to be my home!i would recommend anyone moving in to ask to get your apartment Exterminated(with the bomb) before you moved any of your stuff in, clean it, spray it yourself and put the gel all over the kitchen and bathroom because if you dont do this cockroaches will come, our apartment is always clean but i noticed if i didnt spray it after a few months they would start to appear from the drains!so KEEP CLEAN AND SPRAY EVERY FEW MONTHS!it was a problem but something you can control!

Del Mar Terrace is a beautiful apartment home. The grounds are well kept by the landscaping maintenance crew 7 days a week. The management is professional and friendly. If you have any bug issues it isnt due to any negligence of the staff at all. Some people are cleaner than others and that makes it bad for all. A lot of people who complain arent very good house keepers themselves. Ive been here about 5 years and Ive not had any problems with any bugs at besides the ones outside of my apartment. Come in for a tour yourselves and see what these apartment homes have to offer. Its beautiful and the people are friendly as far as staff goes. Kinda goes back to if you see a problem fix it dont make it worse. Piece of cake.

The apartments are very affordable, spacious, and centrally located. When I initially moved here I had several issues. Yes, there were roaches but they were eliminated after being sprayed. The girls (young ladies) in the office are doing much better at being hospitable and they are also developing better communication skills. The grounds are always well kept and the fact that each apartment has its own washer and dryer is a plus. I am very comfortable here. My neighbors are friendly and people do look out for others. Its a good community to live in especially if you are looking for a budget thats not too strenuous on the pockets.

When I went to tour the apartment the staff was very friendly. They were knowledgeable about everything and didnt just tell me what I wanted to hear. The prices are great and are in your budget. They are also opening a store on premises. I would recommend these apartments.

Save your money, This place is trash. I don’t have one good thing to say about it, the whole place needs to be condemned, demolished, burned down, etcRoaches, bed bugs, and termites it’s like an all in one special, I had my own exterminator come in and inspect my apartment and this was the outcome. I paid $600 out of pocket to have the bed bugs treated and that’s about as far as I’ll take it. There’s water damage in my ceiling, it leaks when it rains. The water YOU pay for stays hot for your nice long 5 minute shower, if you’re lucky.. my kitchen sits at an angle, like meaning you could set a ball in the middle of the floor and it will roll down the hill.. why is there a hill in my kitchen first off? Neighbors are loud and inconsiderate, it totally helps the walls are about an inch thick probably less now that the termites are feasting on it. Currently waiting on the ceiling to cave in any day now. There’s absolutely no lights in these apartments. Half the wall outlets don’t work. The office staff is unprofessional, a bunch of jokes.Dogs run loose everywhere unleashed, dog poop all over the property.There’s no parking.The parking lot has been under construction for like 8 months now, they said it would be finished by october 2018... it’s March ... and it still isn’t finished, no sign of it getting finished anytime soon either. I could go on and on. READ. THE. REVIEWS. They are here for a reason, save yourself, save your money and spend it elsewhere. Don’t make the same mistake as I did and sign a lease else where.

The office ladies are the rudest and most unprofessional people Ive ever dealt with. They act nice and friendly when they work with you to get an apartment but once youre a resident there they stop caring. They shut you down and dont listen to what you got to say and have attitude. Gaby is by far the worst, every time I call or deal with her she gives me the most disgusting attitude. Dont even bother asking for the manager because they will give you the run around and not let you speak to her at all if you ask. They make me so upset cause they dont care were just supposed to deal with it cause we live here. They also have roaches everywhere, even outside just waiting to get inside your home. It is repulsive. When I first walked into the apartment there was a roach running across the living room. The floor was/is lifted from the ground and the roaches come from the cracks on the flooring. In the cabinets check the space in the very back of them, theyre full of roaches. The walls are very thin you can hear everything in your neighbors apartment, might as well join their conversation. No one cleaned this place before I moved in, there was stains on the wall and hair in the back of the toilet. The parking is also ridiculous so just know you wont have parking by your apartment if you have two cars youre screwed unless you like taking a long walk before you get to where you wanna go. Im so glad my lease is up and Im out of here this month!!! Thank you Heers Management youve been a great Im never coming back here.

I recently moved into the Del Mar Terrace apartments. I encountered a few issues on the day I moved in due to a mistake the apartment made, however, after reaching out to the Heers management, they were incredibly professional and went above and beyond to make up for their mistake. Overall I have been very impressed with the management and maintenance at the apartment complex!

They are making lies up to get me out of the apartments . I went up there and the said the maintenance man told them I had traffic but the maintenance were just smoking weed in the back of the apartments . I hate living here , before I put my couches in there were roaches Crawling down walls , the girls in the office are horrible and make you feel less then them , they try to tow my car and turn off the water every other day and NOBODY IS DOING anything to fix this ... I feel stuck , because my credit will get destroyed if I move out early, but living here is so awful. Don’t waist no money on them , keep looking I wish I would’ve seen all the reviews before buying

The ladies at the front were so nice and helpful with us during the whole process. We moved from out of state so obtaining rental references took a while, but they stuck with us. Ive seen so many reviews about roaches, but Ive never seen any! Only downside is a lot of our outlets in our apartment are loose. Other than that our neighbors are very pleasant; they say hello and they always let us know in advanced if they plan to have visitors for a small get together and knock on our door if they plan on playing music. We got very luck! As far as the crime goes we didnt know much about the area before we moved here, but its honestly not too bad. Crime doesnt have an address. They have a convenient store on site too which is awesome, if we ever forget to purchase something while shopping we can walk across the parking lot. Only negative is my husband & I inquired about renting another parking space but there are none available which was really upsetting since we get off work late and have to walk a long way from where we park.

The office staff are some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of interacting with in my apartment search. Not only are the grounds well kept, but there is a new convenient market for residence that is open until 9pm! Everything about Del Mar Terrace makes getting out on your own a pleasant experience!

The absolute worst place to live! Maintenance takes a minimum of 3 days to fix any issue. The staff is completely unprofessional and rude! They NEVER answer the phones.... Ive called while standing in front of them and they look at the call but let it ring on low tone.. they have roaches and water leaks that never get fixed. Your fam/ friends, any visitor will never be able to find available parking after 6pm

If i could give 0 stars I would, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! I have been here for over 1 year and I was planning to move out when I was here for 1 year but I couldnt afford to so I signed a 6 month lease and they are charging me 850$ for a 2 bedroom that is INFESTED WITH ROACHES. The walls are falling apart, when I first moved in there was a huge crack in the bath tub and they never did anything about it. The people here are disgusting, always leaving trash outside. The office staff is TERRIBLE. Theyre nice to you when trying to get you to move in, but once youre in they are RUDE. They wont let you have 2 cars because if one is parked in a spot for longer than a few days, despite being up to date with tags, they will call the towing company. Parking is TERRIBLE. There is always someone digging through your trash. NOT TO MENTION: the worst thing that happened to me is one day I came home and went to open the door and THE HANDLE FELL OFF. THE FRONT DOOR HANDLE CAME OFF. Security is terrible here I always feel like someone is going to rob me when I am walking alone. The office staff is just terrible. They are so rude. Not to mention their prices always change & no matter how much you pay them in rent, you will ALWAYS be treated terribly. I am always early paying my rent and one month I was late and they wouldnt work with me. IF YOU LOVE YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!

Absolutely terrible. The complex is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. There are ROACHES. When we called the leasing office, we were told it was our problem and the complex was only responsible for the outside. BS. We used fumigator cans and that worked for about a week. They live in the walls, they’ll never truly be gone.We signed an agreement that there wouldnt be weed smoked anywhere in the complex. For the last several weeks our apartment has smelled like weed on and off. It must come from the vents, as we do not partake.There are constantly gunshots to he heard as soon as the sun goes down.DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE.We have a countdown going until our lease is up.

I applied to stay here for 8 month while I go to GCU and work part time. I was told my credit score was good, my income was 3 times the rent, and I even paid $315 just in pure fees alone.It literally took two whole weeks, with me emailing and calling them constantly to remind them to look at my application, just for them to tell me no because my application wasn’t strong enough, even though they said that I qualified when I was applying.The people in the office are forgetful, ignorant, lazy, and when you’re not on hold for an hour, they usually just hang up on you. Worst experience in leasing an apartment ever.

Ive hurd wonderful things about these apartments. I was referred by my father so I decided to look my self. The girl in the front welcomes me with a smile before I even walked through the front door. There very beautiful complexes and have a lot of great extras for the community of people that live there and the Prices are affordable.

NEVER FELT LIKE HOME!!.. Came here for the Low-priced monthly rent.. And CHEAP it is! Unethical Office staff.. They never pick up the phone. Worst place Ive ever lived at. I guess its true you get what you pay for. False advertisement on their web page.. Loud music at night, Loud neighbors, gun shots in the area almost every other night, small parking, old appliances, etc etc..... Extremely HAPPY Im OUT paying more but its well worth it!!! Never trying the cheap route again..

Very nice apartments for a great price! Love the environment and the entertainment rooms they have available like the GYM, SOCCER field and event room... Its a great & safe place for your family.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! this place not worth the hassle let alone the entire Heers Management. moving into their apartment I noticed a major pest issue and the management told me it could came from the neighbor. but after talking to the neighbors they told me the old tenant that used to live there passed away and the grand-kids came in and left food and dirty dishes behind which created the original pest problem. from start to finish this property sucked and the customer needs major improvement. the people that works would lie to your face just to get commission or their unit rented

Im a tenant here and absolutely hate this complex.if it wasnt for economics i would have left already.the office staff in my opinion needs a complete attitude adjustment.their pest control is a joke.there is never any parking.i have an issue with bees and i was told to wait until pest control can come out,followed by an Uh soooooo sorry... even though Im deathly allergic to bees..they completely could care less.they work on the landscaping more than on the inside of the apartments to fool anyone into thinking its a worthy place to move in.I wont renew my lease when it ends.I also dont feel in good faith i can recommend this place to anyone.

Currently live here. Honestly cant wait to move out. Its really annoying to have to be on top of the office girls about putting in work orders. On the day we first moved in, the refrigerator wasnt working. I went to the office the next day to have them take care of that and they said they would put a work order in, about 3 days later, they still didnt fix it. I went in again to tell them and finally they sent somebody. my ac stopped working and they were really quick with that fix. They were at my apartment within 5 minutes. What is really disappointing though is that 3-4 weeks ago, I called to have a work order put in to fix my leaking washing machine. It leaked onto half of the kitchen. The lady on the phone said she would put in the work order and still today, my washing machine has NOT been fixed. They should have things like this done in a matter of days not weeks.

The only good thing about this apartment complex is the affordability. Aside from good prices, I have nothing good to say about it. The gym is only open during office hours which makes it impossible to work out if you work during normal business hours. The pool is randomly closed and you have to purchase a pool key (its only $5 but still is very irritating since they only accept money orders). The office staff rarely picks up the phone and arent very reliable when you request for maintenance. It took them one month to respond to a leaky AC because they failed to enter the report three times in a row. Our AC leaked half a gallon a day which left our floors completely soaked. There is a lot of crime in the area. Our car has been broken into before and it always smells like pot during the weekends and there was a shooting within the first 6 months of living here. They claim that its a gated and monitored community but sadly thats not the case. I have heard our neighbors complain about stolen items, keyed cars and car break ins and they seen to never be resolved. The parking is HORRIBLE, people always park in our spot so we are forced to park a far distance from our complex. I wouldnt usually post such a negative review but its very irritating to live here. I wouldnt recommend this apartment to anyone. If you can afford it, go somewhere else!

Roaches, roaches, roaches! So disgusted I have two little ones the first day we started moving stuff three roaches in the kitchen two in one bedroom. Another two coming in from my childrens bedroom window literally seen them squish through! Tried fumigation two days as I did not want to move my kids in until they were gone. Every time me and my husband go back to the apartment the roaches seem to be bigger and bigger! Weve had to waste well over $40 to try to exterminate ourselves since it seems they never have time to have someone come do it! Our stove dryer and washer also did not work they came to fix it but one of our burners still does not work. My husband called to have them spray that also hasnt happened! Carpet was filthy stained everywhere in the living room and both bedrooms. Walls stained, freezer and oven dirty bathroom sink cracked floors and kitchen drawers uneven. Paint on kitchen and living room floor. How can you even think those are conditions to move somebody in? I cannot wait for our lease to be over this is going to be the worst place weve ever lived! Can the 13 months go by really fast! I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!

Good management and price. My washer and water broke down last year but those issues were resolved the next day. Parking is an issue yes, but only because the complex is pretty much fully occupied. I do plan on signing a third lease. I do encounter a roach every now and then; however, no mice or bed bugs, which is more important. My toilet had been clogging up every now and then lately and the minor bug issue are my olny complaints. The staff are always friendly and helpful with my problems. Anybody looking for an above average apartment at an affordable price should look at these apartments.

I normally do not complain about places but Im not loving Del Mar Terrace. Ive lived here for about 2 years now. When I first moved into my apartment the dryer was not working. I told the ladies at the front desk. It was then after the third time that I mentioned the dryer wasnt working that the work order was put in. Dryer was not fixed until 2 months later. When I inspected the apartment I had a page of things that needed to be done, including the temperature knobs on my oven. Within the first 6 months of moving here, ROACH CITY! It only got worse over time! So I then mentioned there were too many roaches in the apartment and they offered to spray my apartment. After a few times, it was sprayed it got worse! There were more live roaches than dead ones. So once my lease was up, I decided to give this place another chance, but I made it clear to the front office ladies that I was not happy. I mentioned the temperature knobs that were no longer visible and the outlets in my kitchen that were black. It was then that they were putting in the work order and getting it done. But they offered free carpet cleaning and 25 dollars off my rent since I renewed, which is nothing. After living there for a year they FINALLY fixed the temp. knobs on my oven. I also had my air condition leak in my apartment so I called 24 hour maintenance because it was important. THEY DID NOT COME FOR A WEEK! So for a week I had to empty buckets of water until they fixed it. Im currently living here and there were still roaches!! They finally fumigated the entire building, which should have been done a long time ago. I havent seen any since, thank god. I will admit, the ladies in the front office are very nice and act like they do care, but I cant deal with the fact that I had a page of things written down to get fixed in my apartment and nothing has been done. For the price that Im paying, things should be fixed immediately. When my lease is up in September, I will not be renewing.

Wow all these bad reviews about roaches!! So far none in our apartment.. first the ladies in the front office are so nice and helpful thank you for helping us out. But for the $2000+ that we paid to move in we where a little bombed to see that all the cabinets super old models and just a big thick of paint and gloss that’s it. All the walls and doors also not even nicely patched just a big thick coat of paint to kinda cover the cracked door that we can still see, the light fixture are coming off they got loose the washer wasn’t working ( until we noticed the hoses where not placed propertly ) the sliding door are swing doors, the kitchen sink is not sealed around so it lifts, ac does read the temperature right lower than 75 and the ac will be on all day and night and it won’t go down the bathroom is missing the lid for the vent , the vent in the kitchen doesn’t even suck it just barely makes any noice and only one speed works , so the janitor missed a lot of details on the plus we have brand new carpet all new appliances 😇we have let the office know and I will keep an update on how things worked out, overall we are very thankful that we have a place to call home. And we are not mad at the ladies in the front office is the janitor of this place that needs to pay more attention.

I love the affordability and the beauty of this place, however even before we had moved in, we had to kill 3 roaches in the apartment. Also we had chewed gum that had started to dry inside of a drawer. Other than that, the location is great, we got a lovely location. I just wish there were no bugs and no nasty stuff on the furniture.Update: after moving out and living in another complex, I honestly didnt have it that bad at Del Mar. staff was friendly for the most part and handled our situations professionally. The other place we moved to had a bigger roach problem and even scorpions. Del Mar is not the safest place to live and cops would be there daily. Also when it rains, it floods really bad. But I can say there worse apartments than these.

My sister lives in this apartment complex and was told they are changing her locks after she paid her rent. My sister has a young daughter and was told she was getting putting out. We took her to get a print out of her receipt and took it to the office. My sister was in tears and very upset. The manager Bollow didn’t express compassion. We was told we was getting put out of the office. Also Bollow blamed it on another manager. She never once said it was a mistake or apologetic. My sister is calling cooperate on a Monday. Make sure you keep all receipt because the workers don’t know what they are doing. That’s a big mistake and for them to be upset with her because they made a big mistake is Ludacris! Very unprofessional and unorganized. Straight careless.

I just move into the apartment with my kids and husband and first day I moved in the ac wasn’t working and my apartment was at 97 degrees and it went up to 100 degrees the maintenance took forever to come and fix it the apartment was hot all night until the next day and my kids were red of how hot it was . The next day we didn’t have hot water for two days and we didn’t know why and maintenance didn’t do nothing about it and now the sinks don’t work this is by far my worst apartment experience because they don’t take care of you and they don’t care what your gonna go through

They deserve 0 stars.. The front office staff is so bad with ppl who live here. Ive seen it first hand. They are rude and bad at there job. maybe if upper management got rid of them then this place would be decent

Stay away if ur looking to live with roaches everywhere this is were u want to live Disgusted and fed up and when u call to have them come spray be prepared to deal with rude attitude from office staff all the women in there act as if the tentants are the 1s who woke them up fed them a bowl of s**t and made them get a job here. They diffently were NOT trained in customer service very sad these apts have alot of potential but with rude office staff and not taken care of roaches makes for a not so happy living environment for any1 especially families....

Honestly the place to live isnt that bad. Only that the apartment maybe is a little old and u have to call about 3 times before you get anything fixed. Secondly the pools are gonna be closed about half of the time. There is no real playground for your kids to play at. Just a tiny little quarter of unsafe park. No basketball court just a soccer field. Thats it. Not a great place for kids Ill tell u that. Last but definitely not least the office staff Is extremely unprofessional. The girls in the front are OK but the assistant manager is the rudest person you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. She will immediately dismiss whatever you are saying and tell you its her way or to get out of her face. Not 1 time has she smiled or even tried to appear nice and if you ever need to talk to a manager please go over her head because she will only enrage you with her attitude and condescending ways. Avoid this complex if you can but if your here already demand to Speak to the real manager. Because this assistant wont even try to hear or help you with anything.

The place is roach cityI currently live here now and they say the spray every Thursday but I dont believe them cause I seen bugs the next day. I have been thinking about breaking my lease cause its so bad. Its embarrassing to think if I have company over and see a roach crawling around. I am not a dirty person and this place makes me feel disgusting. Im gonna try to stick it out until my lease is up but I dont know if I can and the sad part about it is that Ive only been here for 3 months. And the parking is terrible so you can forget inviting people over to your place. If it was up to me I would give this place 0 stars cause giving them one is being nice. I definitely wouldnt not recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Roaches everywhere!!!! You can clean and clean and clean but they just keep coming, now with the maintenance they show up weeks after you went into the office to have them go out and check it but trust me you one day late with rent they will be at your door next day. Its a horrible super over priced apartments stay away!!! The staff in the front office is horrible especially the lady that chews like a dam horse, no one really cares what you are asking all they say ok ok bye and never send anyone to fix it.

There is not enough parking. My sister had her tires off her car stolen and people egged her car multiple times. There is always cockroaches even though we tell the office about it. It just seems like they never do anything about it. Furthermore, I think the apartment complex should have UPS or FED-EX deliver packages to the front office when the tenant isnt home. Ive had packages stolen when I was not home.

I just moved into these apartments this week. I already signed my lease and moved in and I get a call saying there was a mistake and I owe $200 worth of rent the next day after I just paid them the previous day. I talked to three different leasing agents and no one told me anything until I already moved in. Big mess up, I dont know who to talk to about this.

I have to edit my previous review. So If youre looking for a good apartment complex this is not the one. On the surface its fine. Good looking community and friendly staff. However, the roach problem is real. They can spray all they want but its literally a complex wide issue. Many reviews suggested roaches but I moved in anyway and that was my first mistake because I have them. But thats not all. Parking is horrible. You get one space assignment and if you have roommates, prepare to park on the street cuz they wont find any parking unless they also pay an additional fee for a parking spot of their own.... that will be nowhere near your actual unit. Water bill is the same every month regardless of how much you use or dont use. Its just under 60 bucks a month whether you use or not. Also, dont be late on rent cuz the late fee changes apparently. I was late one month and was charged an extra 50 bucks. Thats a bit excessive in my opinion but whatever. I was. Late again a different month and the late fee was 75 bucks that time. I asked why it changed and they said servicing fee...... just do yourself a favor and find somewhere else actually worth the money. Oh and not to mention children. EVERYWHERE. not that I hate kids but these are kids that are up all night walking in the streets, wont move out of your way when you drive in, and making noise all night. Lastly, if you decide to move in, be mindful of your uhaul or your car. If youre not in a parking space, every curb is painted red. And the tow truck will take your vehicle. On my first day here I was unloading my car by the curb. Ran up stairs to take some boxes and the next thing I know the tow truck was hooking up to my car. I had to explain I had just moved in that second and they tried to get me to give them 50 bucks or whatever I had on me for them to drop my car.

If youre looking forward to swimming in the pools dont because they are always closed for maintenance. If some miracle happens and one pool is actually open its completely full of kids. When they are supposedly working on the pools there is no maintenance there all day my window looks out on the pool. Just an empty pool. And most of the girls in the office are rude and get an attitude with you just for asking them a question. Theres been 3 times where Ive asked them to have maintenance open the pools and they said no and then I went to the maintenance shed and asked myself and they had no problem taking the lock off. Soo happy I didnt renew my lease

My car was keyed 3 times within 3 weeks and my apartment was broken into on March 25 2019. They stole a lot of stuff over 1,000.00 in jewelry also whoever broke in my apartment dripped blood every where. Also the police told me that this is 1 of the worst apartment complex here in the Maryvale District. They informed me that the people in the office dont care which they dont I went to the office 3 times with both of my police reports and they asked me if I want to get out of my lease I said yes but now they said that I have to give them a 30 day notice or if I move immediately they will keep my deposit this is crazy bcuz Im not safe here and cant have my children, Nieces or Nephews to come here to visit bcuz of there safety and this is sad. bcuz they dont care about people here also the manager told me not to tell anyone to keep it on a hush. But Im not they wanted to offer me to move next door which I know is even worse. but if your thinking about moving to Del Mar Terrace please dont its not worth your safety or your life its just npt safe at all.npw I have to make sure that my gun is always on me the crazy thing is that I moved here October 2018 and having these problems. also u see glass everywhere where cars have been broken into that they will not tell you about. I talked to a few police since this incident the police told me that when u see a off duty cop patrolling in an apartment. they told me that should of been my 1st sign not to move there. So Im giving u all the information that was told to me so please never move in the Del Mar Terrace apartments they will screw you over by any means which is just not cool and keep your deposit or any money that they can.

I have lived here for 12 years. Luckily I never had much trouble (Im usually indoors). You can hear shots every other night but there should be no trouble if you stay away from those people. There have ALWAYS been roaches. No matter how much fumigation we get, they always come back. I learned to ignore it, they usually come out at night but I just rinse my silverware before I use it. Neighbors are annoying (loud music or arguments) but again, I learned to ignore it. You can find nice people every no and then. Im hoping to move out in a Month. If you plan to live here, I would get a top floor apartment since its safer. Dont leave anything you care about outside, it WILL get stolen. Also, they dont have recycling bins.

Theres a lot of cockroachs and alot of crackheads the police are aways here because of something. Not a good place to live.

Just signed my lease today and I was so excited to come home from work until I got there..... My boyfriend saw 2 small roaches (the filth bugs not water bugs) running across the wall and another coming out of the outlet. Turned my phone light on to make the gruesome discovery of multiple (at least 15)dead roaches on the carpet. At this point Im completely disgusted and just want to leave. My boyfriend talked me into staying to eat our food and then leaving after. I walk into the kitchen turn on the lights and see 5 roaches on the counter. They came out to play within 10 minutes of the lights being off!!! We grabbed our keys and bag of food (that was left on top of the stove) to find 2 roaches inside. Within an hour of being there Ive had enough. This place seems to be infested with them. I dont think its fair to be paying rent already when Im sleeping over a friends house because Im scared of the possibility of roaches crawling all over me as soon as the lights shut off. I wish I would have read the reviews before. Has ANYONE had any luck getting rid of them with the pest control they provide? Or is all hope lost for me? Is there any way to get out of the lease if their spraying doesnt work?!!

In all honesty, I think I would have been better off living in my car.

Worst Place to live at !! Only reason I moved in was for the low rent and decent looking apartments! But dont let that fool you! The Crime here is too much! My car has gotten broken into 2 times !! And obviously the staff didnt care when I told them about it! Their is literally cops here everyday!! Its crazy how much crime goes on here !! Also their is roaches everywhere ! Doesnt matter how clean I have my apartment the roaches still come !! And maintenance only sprays the outside of the apartment not the inside! So you pretty much have to either deal with it or fix the problem on your own! Thank god my lease is almost up! Never again will I move back here.

Unacceptable way to treat renters. At first is amazing, but once you are in the contracts they are rude. The people from the office. Maintenance team are great folks. Just the office people.

The staff at Del Mar Terrace has been great and very helpful, especially Alicia. I also like the spacious living space and the ability to move in within a short period of time.

I moved in about 4-5 months ago. Always payed rent on time literally 2 weeks ahead of time. I had to make one late payment this month. And they wouldnt accept it. So now Im getting evicted. She didnt even try to hear why I was late or anything. Not to mention my neighbors just brought roaches into my apt. For 5 months I was Roach free up until this month. And my apt stays clean just for that reason. This place has the worst management Ive ever had at a apt. I wish I never moved here. People get shot right in front of My apt. I was a good Tennant always had rent on time. I am human things happen. And they could care less.

Well Im excited about renting here and received good service at the time of applying and looking etc. BUT yesterday I did get bad service I just had some quick questions and the girl who answered my phone call was completely cutting me off and interrupting my question plus attitude so Im quite disappointed but I mean maybe she was having a bad day idk

These apartment complex dont deserve any stars horrible!!!!!lived there for 13 months with my husband and 3 kids couldnt not wait for my lease to be up not safe always police, ambulance, helicopteres there people where getting shot, BROKEN IN THERE APARTMENT SMELLING LIKE WEED EVERY NIGHT and they wouldnt notify the people who lived there WHEN THE RENT WOULD CHANGE OR FEES. when we needed maintance on the apartment took them longer then 2 weeks to fix it and thats only cause i would call and complain or it would take longer when it came to the rent on being 1 day late they were real good charging late fees the staff is so rude and disrespectful lots of bugs also. DONT RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO RENT AT THIS PLACE especially if you have kids !!!!

This apartment is so horrible! its not even funny my washer flooded and they told me it could take up to two days to fix it so I have kids and if my apartment has black mold than what?? the women and the wemon in the office are so rude. Im so over these apartments cant wait to move. Only thing good that it is affordable and people mind there own.

Been Here Since Around January And This Place Is The Worst. When We First Moved In, Our Counter Tops, Floors, Walls And Doors Had Mold, Paint Coming Off, Holes, Paint All Over The Floors And A Bad Smell From The Kitchen. The Lady’s In the Office Are All Unprofessional. The Lady That Was Getting Our Paperwork Ready Was Just On her Phone Not Answering Our Questions, Laughing And Just Being Very Rude. Also Our Washer Wasn’t Working, Our Oven And Stove Burned Every Pot And Pan We Had, Our Air Conditioning Wasn’t Working And Our Hot Water Wasn’t either. Took About 5 Times Of Complaining For A few Issues To Be Done. Till This Day after So Much Complaining Our Stove Still Doesn’t Work, And The Sink Has The really Bad Smell Since We Moved In. Also, The Assistant Manager Is very, Very Rude. I Went To Turn In My Rent Money And The Lady Was Being So Rude, Basically Telling Me To Hurry Up And Get Out Of Her Face! If Your Trying To Move Here, Don’t! Very, Very Bad Apartments.

I wish I never moved in here, a week before we were supposed to move in they gave me a call saying that they didn’t want to move someone out (the apartment that was supposed to be ours) and that we would have to pay full price for a two bedroom because that’s all they had left. *we applied for a one bedroom* Certain staff are rude and VERY unprofessional! New staff DEFINITELY needs to be hired. They close and lock all gates at night so there’s only one way in and out. Roach infested!!! Even when they come to spray ROACHES WILL COME BACK. Carpets was discusting when we moved in. stray cats everywhere. Crime always happening The only service you’ll receive that is good is from one man in the maintenance crew! Horrible apartments I should’ve listened when people told me not to move in ! You could find something waaaaaaaaay better for the prices that they offer better neighborhood and way better staff ! Their super overpriced to be this raggedy and unprofessional They’ll hit you over the head for late fees, and will up your rent when it’s tome for you lease to be up Trust me DONT move here .

Very rude office staff. They are unprofessional and need to hire better staff to work with tenants. Serious roach problem. Just a nasty place with the nasty staff to match. There are people who literally get inside the dumpster bins digging through it daily. Make sure u shred your documents. Worst management ever, that treat tenants like they are an annoyance and will literally argue with you if you tell them about it
