I am going to start by saying that the management team at this apartment is EXCELLENT. Julian will go above and beyond for you. I ended up not living here because the apartments are extremely out dated and in a bad location. I am aware of the renovations happening next year but if youre planning on living here make sure to tour the place first

Maria is phenomenal at her job. All of our concerns were met with straightforward answers and our paperwork wasexplained flawlessly. It made the entire process pain free and very reassuring. Unfortunalty we did not move in due to personal reasons but, I highly recomend this apartment complex. I wokr for the HUD department out in Texas and never in my many years in this industry have i seen such amazing professional young Gal like Maria.Thank you,Scott Jullian.

I’ll start this by saying I moved here last minute sight unseen because I needed an apartment ASAP, and the leasing office was very accommodating of that and had pretty good communication. With that said I wish I would have seen it before signing. This complex is kinda like bleeding out by 1,000 paper cuts. Little things start to stack up over time and by the end of the lease I was ready to get out of dodge. After I was moved in thats kind of where communications got a litte tougher with the leasing office. Showers with extremely low water pressure, tub linings that peel and rip apart, a toilet that’s constantly flushing and cycling water (juicing the utilities), and a faulty A/C that you never knew if it would hold up or not. BUT no roaches so a star for that. The complex also operates on this weird socialist style utility system where they take the overall usage of the complex and divide it by the number of residents. So essentially no matter my usage in a studio apartment I was splitting the bill with families in the one and two bedrooms. The laundry facilities were kinda shotty sometimes the washers would be full of water and unusable. The plumbing was iffy as the sink would hold water for about 10min before being emptied. The worst of it was when my toilet overflowed while I was at work and due to the constant running of the toilet there was standing water in my bathroom that made its way to the carpet. The other residents are cool for the most part, but you get some noisy people as all complexes do. Due to the location of the apartments and not being a gated community the occasional homeless man would wander around the parking lot. A few cars in our parking lot had windows and windshields smashed out so the complex brought on third party security. Without DJ and the awesome maintenance people this place would be far worse off. All in all it was an ok at best place, but a short lease term made it somewhat bearable. I’d advise you to really look for other options before settling on this apartment complex.

I lived here for three years (when it was called Falling Waters a much better name IMHO) and was generally happy. I loved this apartment and its location! I really want to give a higher rating, but cant. This was an inexpensive place to live in an expensive area. The maintenance staff (D.J and Norris) work very hard to keep up an aging older property and do a fantastic job despite what appears to be a non existent budget.Im not sure if branding this as mid century is accurate or even truthful. The complex has a pleasant Spanish feel to it and looks to be built in the mid 1970s (mid decade...perhaps?).As apartment complexes go it is unique. It feels more like an extended stay resort. I hope new management/ownership keeps it like it is (with some much needed renovations, but not altering its unique Spanish ambience). That is part of its funky charm and style.I lived in the Tower. These units are mostly Jr. One bedroom/studios. They remind me of suite hotel accommodations. I had an incredible view of South mountain, Camelback, and Central city from the tiny balcony. Utilities were included as well as basic cable. My neighbors were friendly and there were only a few issues. I did sadly have clothes and linens stolen out of the laundry area and it could get noisy. Sometimes homeless people would park their shopping carts in front of the building and ride the elevator all night long until it was broken. This was ended when some new no nonsense management was hired by the previous company. They cleaned house quickly and efficiently of these issues. At the beginning of 2020 the property was sold to new owners. This is where things went downhill for me. I was interested in renting one of the two bedroom units on a courtyard. I was told that one would be held for me until I was ready to move (in a month). I would just have to pay a nominal relocation fee. I planned on doing this on the following Monday (I talked to her on Friday). At the time of opening I went in, was ready to put down the money and get the paperwork started. The rude new apartment manager said someone had already committed to it even though at that time the office was closed on the weekend! I was also told that should another apartment come available I would have to pay an additional fee on top or the original one! She treated me like scum during the conversation even though I had always paid rent on time and was considered a good and clean tenant by the previous owners/management. I tried back several times to see if there were vacancies on the two bedrooms. I was told in the same bored monotone voice No, even though there were in fact vacant apartments that had not been rented! This went on for two months. Vacant apartments, no tenants. Finally Id had enough and looked elsewhere. This new manager assumed that because I was not a new renter I was trouble. I guess I didnt fit in with their new perceived hip look and the clientele they wanted to attract. Even though I make more than enough to cover the rent....Hmmmm. It is my hope that this manager has been discharged for questionable and borderline discrimatory rental practices. You would think they would want a long term on time rental payment tenant? I guess not. Ultimately I get the distinct feeling that this company wants to clear out the remaining tenants so they can do renovations. So be it, but just be honest about your intentions, close the place down, and take the loss of income. Dont lie to your long term residents or promise what you cant or wont deliver. Not impressed and until someone else purchases this property and actually puts some money into it (I heard so many times how they were going to do this and then...nothing), I would not recommend living here. And for God sake why did you have to change the name to something that sounds so fake and pretentious? Echelon of....what?
