Nice apartments, pretty big here. Pools super nice. Only wish they had washer n dryers inside the units instead of shared. Thats the only bummer but everything else is nice. Gym and lounge are opening soon and look super nice from outside. Gym is big and spacious and has alot of equipment in there. Theres also nice walking routes all around the complex

I’ve lived here for 6 months and have had such a great experience! They’re renovating a lot and the property has improved in the short time I’ve been here. The staff and maintenance take care of any issues I may have and respond within a reasonable amount of time. The pool, location, and views are beautiful. I literally have zero complaints. I’ve recommended for my other family members to move here too.

I have been at Capri for close to two years. The management is excellent. Tina, the manager who did my lease is so professional and fast, I think she is part machine. She stands behind me with any issue that comes up. Some residents bring in guests that are inconsiderate to other residents, but managements evicts anyone who won’t abide by their leases! The property is well maintained and I can’t even list all the improvements since I lived here! Great Job Capri!

Ive been here almost 3 years now and Im Updating my review because they have improved alot. as soon as I email the assistant manager- Tina, she takes care of the issue. She will send maintenance immediately for repairs and she has worked with us tremendously through the pandemic (as we were unable to work and behind on rent) she made payment arrangements with us for several months. I love the pool and hot tub. They are always clean and well maintained. the landscaping is beautiful and well taken care of. I will definitely renew my lease.

Plenty of issues, but there was one thing that was affecting my health, and they asked no questions. They believed me, and that really made me feel like they appreciated our business. The swimming pool is amazing. The location is great. And there is even a tennis court. Usually, in general, large apartment communities this size are either getting better or getting worse. With this one, its getting better

I Initially thought this apartment complex would be a nice & safe place to live. Shortly after moving in, I was quickly alarmed that it isn’t. The ladies in the office are extremely nice & gets back to you quickly if you have a question. As for the apartment itself, PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. It isn’t worth not knowing if it’s safe to walk into your own place. Random people can have ACCESS to every apartment building. You have homeless people walking sround, loud altercations outside, suspicious activity all throughout the lot. Please I highly recommend you listen to the reviews and their star ratio. It’s like that for a reason. Work orders are super slow if you do them online. And even if you call somebody in the office, it’s a possibility that it would take a week to actually get someone working on it. Mailbox have been broken into, I recently just had my laundry stolen. This area isn’t an ideal spot for any families or anyone independent. I witness almost two deadly crimes. The walls are SUPER THINNNN. You can literally hear someone peeing. Police are here almost every day. You have grown people, literally acting like child everyday. Please please please save your money. It isn’t worth the headache or your safety. I recommend a gated complex. As I mentioned, anyone can walk throughout the complex.

I lived here for six years, but the last year and a half was the worst.I have the records of emails and phone calls if needed but here is the summary. The temperature of your apartment is not a big deal, it could be 100 plus outside but inside your room it could be 80 plus and no care. Or it could be 50 outside and the room temp is 60 but you cant change it nor do they care.Reporting anything from garbage or trash in the hallway doesnt go anywhere.Wait there is more, I lived here for six years but in the final year, 2020, I was accused of a smell of Marijuana yet their maintenance was in my apartment at that time. I have that email/voicemail to prove it and once I question it they said they heard things about their maintenance...so where is the confidence??? Please know I was working from home and so was my mother at this time, so it didnt make sense...Here is my final say of this complex, I have been living as an adult (18) for the past fifteen years and the treatment I was given in the past year was the worst. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone new and my rating is because of my overall six year living there.

When I moved into the Capri I was kind of skeptical about it. The hallways roared with noise and I thought that that would be a problem inside of my apartment but it is not. In fact these apartments are so quiet you cant hear anything in them very often. I enjoy the gas fireplace that I have and that is something Ive never had in another place Ive lived in. There are easy payments here online and when you have a problem with something the office takes care of it immediately.

I am looking to move into a nice apartment on Camelback near where I do most of my business. I decided to go look at the options that Capri offers. They are updated pretty nicely. No carpet, thats nice. Fairly new appliances. Laundry on site.During the day, when they showed the apartment, everything seemed normal. I decided to stop by after dark to see how it would be at night. I saw people rummaging in the dumpsters, even a person sleeping on a sofa that was placed at the dumpster. Not good. I checked out the laundry area and spoke with a tenant that was doing their laundry and they said the laundry machines barely work most of the time. Sometimes they cant read the debit cards, and they dont accept coins or cash. Not good. And I heard at times the laundry cycles, like spin cycle, dont complete, leaving the clothes completely drenched, unable to be dried unless you use like 3 cycles in the dryer, thats 2and half hours. Not good.Loud music coming from the cars that I could hear inside the building. And not just for a minute. It lasted for nearly a half hour. I went outside to see where it was coming from, and I saw the person crawling under their car and inside under the hood. I guess trying to do maintenance on their car. No need to play music that loud. I need my rest and sleep. Not goodAs I was walking around the apartment buildings, I noticed that small rocks are used as a landscaping feature. Thats fine. Except in many places the rocks have been removed somehow and it leaves a very unsafe space where the sidewalk and curbs end and the rocks are supposed to begin. There are unsafe dropoffs along the sidewalk and since there is very limited nighttime lighting, it is very hard to see the drop-off and that caused me to step off into it and twist my ankle. Luckily I was able to prevent further harm but if someone else who might be disabled and using a cane or Walker comes across the drop-off they might fall and be harmed. Not goodSupposedly they have security monitor the premises, but I never saw anyone and asked other tenants if they ever saw anyone and they said they never do. Not goodIve been homeless before, so I would never put down homeless people. Life can be unexpected and rough. But I noticed at least a few homeless persons walking the premises. When I was homeless I never had a reason to be on any apartment premises. I asked another tenant if they noticed what I noticed and they said they do.If none of these things bothered me, I would for sure move here. And if these things happened at all other apartments then I would choose Capri. But most apartment places dont have these issues. So Ill move in one of those apartments

I wanted to start off this review by saying that Tina who works in the front office is absolutely amazing and wonderful at her job.I lived at Capri for just over 3 years and in 3 different apartments. It was nothing but problems and horrible customer service (minus Tina)I had an apartment that would constantly flood due to the laundry room and my attempts to get it resolved were completely ignored. I called and stopped into the office every single day and they would say we will fix it and never would. It was so bad I was walking through water in my bedroom and had to sleep in the living room for almost a week. I still have the videos to prove it.They also have a major cockroach problem. I would wake up to multiple cockroaches in my apartment on a daily basis and I kept my place very clean. They told me they were doing major renovations and convinced me to move into one of the renovated apartments. Once moved in, the walk through repairs were never fixed. My backdoor wouldn’t lock for weeks. They did not even have the list completed when I moved out a year later. I had cabinets that were falling apart and a toilet seat that was the wrong size plus many other issues they just never fixed even after putting in multiple requests after. They started to have a lot of suspicious activity happening (people coming up knocking on our door, looking into car windows, etc)We also never had warm water for the showers before 7am. While in my last apartment the electrical outlets started having issues and we did not have power to a portion of our apartment. That was not resolved for almost a week as many of my calls were simply not returned.Towards the end of our lease people were constantly pulling the fire alarms. One night, they could not figure how to turn it off for over 2 hours and we had to sit outside the entire time. Once we were allowed back in someone had vandalized the apartments with a sharpie and the residents stayed up for another hour to remove it.I finally moved out almost a year ago and thought my troubles were over. I accidentally had a perishable food delivery made to one of their new “lockers” and they refused to see if it was in there because it stated in their system it was not delivered even after I called the delivery company to verify and they confirmed it was delivered. Some places never change despite the renovations and I’m afraid Capri is no different.

When signing a legal document one must obtain a copy for their own protection. It was 3:20 pm & I said I’d wait. He said, “You’ve asked me 5 times now. My girlfriend has only lived here for 1 month, and there are cockroaches that come in through the front door, sinks, and drains. We have submitted 4 requests for vermin spraying over the last month, and no response.furthermore, she has talked to many residents in the same building, all of whom have the same problem. Apparently, if you contact the front office about the issue, they claim that the tenant must have brought them here. In reality, its probably because their trash service has tenants place their full trash outside of their door in the hallway, attracting bugs.Do not live here.

I moved in ignoring the reviews and regretted it so much. I signed a lease here because the renovations are nice and the location is great. HOWEVER within 2 weeks of me moving in, my apartment flooded TWO separate times. The first time management did absolutely nothing about my damages and dealing with my insurance and deductible. The second time I had to hire an attorney to figure out what my rights were with the situation. I ended up getting out of my lease completely after having to fight with management relentlessly. The regional manager was great, and was actually the only helpful one. Such a regret moving in here. It was nothing but a head ache in my short 2 weeks living here.

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever rented from. The AC unit never works properly and went down for weeks in the middle of summer. All that was offered to remedy the situation was free water. The small studio I have never gets lower than 80 degrees. The parking is unclear at the time of signing a lease and they will tow you WITHOUT warning and WITHOUT notification after towing. I had no idea my car had gotten towed and I was out of town for four days resulting in me having to pay extra for each day. If management had taken their time and cared about their residents, they would have let me know they had towed me and I would have had someone pick my car up.They will tell you security is available and an emergency line is available 24/7 to call, however they will not answer the phone and will not get back to you. There are missing doors into the residential buildings which does not feel safe. The hallways smell of trash and always have bugs in them. The single lock on the apartment doors are low quality and not secure. It only goes in 1/4 inch into the door frame resulting in the door being easily kicked open. The power outlets do not work half the time. My fridge will randomly not have power and food will go bad. They said they fixed it, and did not.The cabinets, drawers, toilet and shower are all low quality and gross. The toilet tank has moldy brown water and is all rusted out. No one deserves to sit on an old toilet in their home. It is $100 to replace a toilet which is STANDARD procedure after the old resident moves out since they take security deposits for that reason. The apartment was not clean when I moved in. The shower had yellow residue as did the toilet and bathroom/kitchen counter, and bathroom sink.I did not want to believe that this complex would be like this. I waited to months to see if it would get better and it has not.The Management is even worse and are not willing to take care of their residents. Do NOT rent from here.

Lived here for about 14 months. The staff switched from Greystar to pinnacle. Which meant a increase in price but less maintenance and repair. Pool was condemned for a few weeks.....then there was my apartment.I’m a clean individual and I lived in a small studio there. My room got roaches, tiny house roaches. I was upset because the price was high then I asked for them to be exterminated. They didn’t come after asking me to move all my belongings to the center of the room and clearing out everything. So I lived in a mess for a week and they sprayed. I was blamed for the roaches, yet if I can’t clean for two weeks there is going to be some mess. They took the plugs out the walls. You could see the walls were covered in roach eggs. Walls not near my kitchen. This place was no good and there was no saving it.They came again and at this point I found myself unhappy. The manager realized it and let me out of my lease early with no fees. She may have did this out of kindness or because they wanted to do a remodel. Selling the room for an extra $300 a month.Giving a 8/10 for management, a 1/10 for room, and a 5/10 for safety. The first day I got there and parked in the parking lot. Someone broke my car windows and tried to steel my car.....they have no cameras in the parking lot. So they can’t catch people who steel or live in the trash cans.Yeah homeless live in the trash. I took mine out even though I paid 25$ a month for trash service. I opened the can and eyes were looking at me. I was scared and ran.Overall you are better off going east 2 miles down the road to Scottsdale. Check out SCOTTSDALE 59. It’s bout the same price and healthier living.

Believe the comments!I just recently moved back to AZ and was trying to be closer to work. I heard from a friend about these apartments and I wanted to give it a try the photos look amazing. But sadly the comments are all true. I should’ve went somewhere else when they kept changing my rent, and security deposit back and fourth it was beyond stressful! They told me my rent was going to be 1170 a month no one told me i had to pay for utilities which now my rent is 1289 a month not once was that brought up to me. Then move day gets here my friends and I are excited we get here at 10am to be told the apartment isn’t ready and to come back at 12pm which wasn’t a big deal so they give us a 20 dollar gift card which that didn’t even work! Then we get a call around 11:30 saying the apartment still wasn’t ready and to get here at 3pm by now I’m a little frustrated but who knows maybe the place was a mess so we get to the apartment around 4:30 and the office tells us that the apartment is still not ready for us. I was beyond irritated at this point. They offered us a 50 dollars off my rent which I thought was a joke! So then they told us they could do 300 which was a little better. Then I just tell them I just wanna move into my apartment which they allow me to only to be greeted by the cleaners who told us that the apartment complex called them late so they lied to us again at this time I’m just over it it’s been nothing but stress here. It honestly just doesn’t even feel like a home. It’s just crazy how you have an employee telling residents one thing and then doing the opposite! If you do decide to move here have (Sarah, Anthony, or Ruben) help you they’re the only ones who seem to know what they’re doing at this complex.

This place is the only place that seems to have a hard time with that. We called several times at different times and never get an answer. Their website says they close at 5pm, we got there at 3:15 and they were already closed. We can never seem to get them on the phone and when we drop by theres never an employee. I am starting to wonder if they even have employees at this point. I wouldnt even bother leaving a bad review for this, but just the fact that their staff is consistently unavailable for a potential new tenant just got under my skin and shows a lot about how they must run their place.

Its unfortunate that I have to write a review like this but it honestly should be public knowledge before anyone signs a lease here. I am mostly frustrated because it is not May 2nd and this issue happened in February. There have been three found mice in my apartment. I have yet to see pest control. This apartment complex is such a terrible place to live. I have been uncomfortable since the moment I moved in.Aside from the mice issue the parking is a disaster and not monitored. My car was hit by someone in the parking lot. They thankfully left a note but it was valid why he did because the spaces are aligned terribly. The noise from neighbors is extremely loud. The halls smell of smoke and even in the elevator. Ive literally had to call the police and file a noise complaint.Last month they lost my rent check and before they even looked and double checked their records they already told me I was going to have to pay the difference and I have emails to prove thats what they said. The laundry machines are always broken - there are currently two working in all of building B. Not to mention Ive had to do my laundry elsewhere multiple times because the complex makes you use a laundry card that you have to load through a machine in the leasing office. Which has caused fraud on my card not once but twice. Also have records of that.Tina the manager can be helpful in some cases. However, only to her benefit. I waited to post about this because I tried to let them reconcile it but they never did.my rent right now is 1,035. So I guess I shouldnt expect much. However, they are raising the rent to my exact apartment to 1,400+!! And there are absolutely no changes. They set up glue traps for a clear and obvious infestation of mice. Both mice were found in the matter of 24 hours and no one has come to look at my apartment months later. I hear them in my walls. It is a disaster here. You can find another apartment for 1,400 with working utilities I would recommend PURE MIDTOWN. Amazing prices and brand new apartments with great management.DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you plan on spending all of 2-3 nights a week in your apartment. Because thats practically what I do to avoid the inconvenience and unhealthy living conditions.

I have only lived here for a little while but I can assure you that most of the negative comments have to be from people trying to lower the rating of this complex.First of all, the women who work in the leasing office are fantastic. Unlike other places where you will be lucky for someone to take your call, they are extremely helpful.Moving in: Melissa my leasing agent was a huge help with navigating their lease agreement and showing me around all the facilities and my apartment. They explain everything to you so there arent any surprises.Parking: Like most places you can pay for a garage or car port but they also have a LOT of free parking around the buildings. Late at night it may be hard to find a spot but considering the number of residents there is a LOT of parking.Location: Amazing. You are close to all kinds of shopping and grocery stores.Apartment: When I moved in my apartment we decently clean, all appliances and outlets worked.Maintenance: Great, polite, helpful guys. They fix problems within 48 hours, if something still isnt quite working to your standard they come back till it is.Grounds: Clean! Yes there is the occasional dog poop but they are super dog friendly, provide baggies, so that is the tenants problem to be looking after their pets. But even when there is a mess it is cleaned up fairly quickly.Pool: Clean and well gated.Only issues: You dont have much control over the thermostat because of the way it is set up but it is cold in the summer and that is all that matters. If you want it warmer they can always turn off the system for you. Also the garbage disposal system, you have to pay to have your garbage taken instead of taking it out yourself. I would rather take it myself than pay the $20 dollars but oh well, they dont have bed bugs, roaches, or scorpions so I can take this minor issue. Most negative comments I see are from people renewing their lease or after they leave. I havent had to experience this process yet so I cannot comment. But the people are great, if you treat them with respect they will go above and beyond for you. It is a great location and fair pricing. This is my first apartment and I am happy to be somewhere that is quiet, clean, and I feel safe.

The complex stays clean and quiet and the maintenance staff has always been quick to respond and I havent had any issues with insect infestations like at other complexes - rated 5/5.

I have lived here for 9 months and Im not renewing my lease. The rent they offered me for my renewal was increased from 680 to 796 and pet rent was increased from 22 to 35. This place is not worth that much money. Parking is limited, you cant control your ac or heat, there is constant noise because people always have their doors and window open to keep cool and the buildings are old and not kept up very well. Its not a terrible place to live, its just absolutely not worth the money.

Lived at Capri for 13 months, the only reason I left was because I bought a home. I would recommend this complex to anyone. Parking is an issue but is not that bad. The staff were always helpful and the maintenance staff were always prompt and did a great job. If you are physically active, this apt complex will be great for you - you can take long walks, do hill running, camelback mountain is close by if you enjoy hiking, and theres always the fitness room. Its a very safe area and place - my cars were never bothered with, I never worried about any type of crime and the place always felt safe. As for the apartment, it was very clean, no bugs, very quiet, and peaceful. I honestly enjoyed it and would have extended my lease had I not bought a home.

So, my nightmare is about to come to an end. My entire building is INFESTED with cockroaches. Management at Capri is unresponsive to maintenance requests. In addition, the exterminator left the apartments one, and only master copy of keys to my unit, hanging in the lock of my front door. I get home from work at 6 P.M. This means that anyone could have potentially come into my unit and taken my belongings. Thankfully, nothing was stolen. On top of that, when I reached out to Management, it became my problem to return the master keys. The police are here on an almost DAILY basis. Tenants leave trash out in the hall. It stinks. Please, do not live here.

Id like to take the time to talk about the staff who works at Camelback. I see a lot of negative comments on here about management & the apartments and I just find it so hard to believe. Every time Ive had an issue with my apartment the ladies in management have ALWAYS been so supportive & kind and thinking about my best interest. Theyve been more than corporative in any problem Ive had and have always helped out to the best of their abilities.I did have a few problems with my apartment, but nothing that wasnt fixed or handled (like every other apartment Ive been in.) The thing is that with apartment complexes there is always something that could go wrong, so having good management there to handle that is important & thats what I get when I lived at Capri!I also really loved the pool area (its massive) and the grills available as well! The rooms are super spacious & I believe that most of them are getting renovated so I would absolutely recommend looking into Capri! You cant always predict what will happen in an apartment or any type of rental, but having good management & maintenance is what defines a place. Thanks Capri!

Ive never written a bad review about ANYTHING before.. But honestly I dont want anyone else to make the mistake of moving in here. I will preface this with saying that Tina in the front office is absolutely the sweetest person on the planet, but the living conditions in this apartment has been absolutely deplorable. When I initially moved in, the apartment was probably the dirtiest apartment Ive ever been in. I had to steam clean the floors, scrub the shower about 3 times to feel safe showering in it, and the cabinets had what I initially thought was grey texture to them.. which I found out later was actually mass amounts of dust on them. I did not have hot water for the first two weeks of living here, I sent two requests to fix what was going on with the shower before Tina finally saw it and rectified it, and even then the spout is constantly leaking water. There was (is) a HORRENDOUS cockroach problem, which I again had to contact the office twice to fix, and the third time I saw the exterminator.. he had told me that the office said that it was a rat problem, so he only put out rat traps. I had to actually pay for, and treat the apartment on my own because the only way I could get rid of them was by spraying, bombing, setting hormone traps, and setting out poison every week, that I had to find a place to take my dog to because of how potent the poison was. After that, the A/C went out. I called about 14 days ago to ask if they could turn down the A/C because it was 80 in my apartment.. the reply I got was that it was a chiller system, and as cold as my apartment gets is as cold as its going to get. So I went out and got a portable air conditioner. A couple days after that, I get an email saying the chiller system has gone out.. and now.. with my portable air conditioner running.. it is 86 DEGREES in my apartment in the middle of July.. The hottest its gotten? 89 degrees.. and honestly, if that wasnt bad enough my brand new refrigerator went out and spoiled ALL of the food I had inside of it. Instead of just replacing the broken fridge.. they went and just put a SECOND one in my dining room, effectively blocking my pantry, knocking everything off my walls, and leaving it for close to a week at this point. Though the rent is very reasonable, I promise youll end up spending more money trying to maintain this place... and for the love of god.. if anyone knows of a good landlord tenant lawyer.. please let me know.

I am currently living at Capri on Camelback and to anyone considering living here, I would highly suggest you look else where. Upon applying I read numerous bad reviews about the apartment complex, but ignored them and decided to live here anyways. THIS WAS A HUGE MISTAKE.For starters, when signing the lease you are told that utilities will be a flat rate of $125. This is a lie. After paying my first few bills and realizing my utilities were well over $125, I called the front office. They told me that the $125 rate was an average and that they cannot do anything about it. Although this is not what I was told when signing the lease form. Also while signing the lease we were told that upon moving out I would be charged $50 for a carpet cleaning fee, and any additional fees to clean the apartment. Sounds reasonable, right? Well, once I got my keys and opened my apartment doors I realized my apartment WAS NOT EVEN CLEANED FROM THE PREVIOUSLY RENTERS THAT LIVE IN THE UNIT. The microwave and stove had stains on it, the bathroom sinks were gross, and carpet was not even vacuumed, and the walls and doors were even stained with gross yellow and brown marks. The balcony door was broken, the master bedroom was missing a screen from the window, the kitchen cabinets are cracked open and falling apart, and the guest bathroom had water leaking from the light socket in the ceiling. Now that I have been living here a few months I can easily say, hot water is a luxury here at Capri. This morning I waiting 10 minutes for the water to heat up, it never did. And I was forced to wash my hair in freezing cold water before running off to work. You also get NO control over your AC/Heating. Ive had my AC switched to off for two weeks and I can still hear it running all day and night. So much for saving money on utilities by not running your AC right? If you ever have a package delivered to your apartment unit, it is kept in the front office in a room with all other packages, which every single resident has access to that room and can come and go taking whatever they would like when they leave. My roommate has had her package stolen from the room and management does nothing about it.Then there are the pet owners that leave their dogs poop all over the complex which wouldnt be that big on a deal if I didnt have to plug my nose every time I am walking to and from my car.And of course you just have to love the rude ladies working in the front office. The last time I called up there having a question about when rent was due, she told me she was to busy to help me and hung up.Far to overpriced for the quality of the complex. If this review doesnt scare you away, I dont know what else will. The only positive feedback I can give to Capri is that Francisco who is part of the maintenance staff is helpful and very quick to respond to requests. He has fixed multiple things in my apartment and it is always a pleasure seeing him!!DO NOT LIVE AT CAPRI ON CAMELBACK.

Ive been living at Capri for a little while now. I probably should have found somewhere else to stay but its hard looking for a place thats convenient like here. Which is why I came back to Capri, its been over a year now. Once my lease is up I dont plan on staying here. They raise the rent each year, someone took my clothes out of the washer and left them on top of the machine (I know longer wash my clothes here), people steal laundry all the time, there is never anywhere to park (people park crazy) so its never any room, dog poop everywhere, and never any hot water (Ive called and complained on more than one occasion. The first time moving in I didnt really have this many issues but this time around it has gotten worse. I even had to call multiple times when my sink was leaking and about the water being cold. Capri is a little over priced for all the mishaps here. The front office has been nice except maybe once not sure who it was but other then that friendly ladies. I do plan on finding somewhere else to leave once my lease is up. Also that $25 for trash is crazy to me, I can take my own trash to the shoot. The hallways stink and it always bugs around. Who knows if any of my complaints were written down but Ive made them and I know my neighbors have as well but I dont think any thing was done. Maybe with the new owners things may change for the better.

My apartment’s bathroom has flooded 2 times now in the past month. The plumbing is over 50 years old here and they haven’t shown any inclination to update it. Each time it has taken hours to fix and then they do not send anybody to clean up the backed up plumbing water that soaks the floor and every surface in the bathroom. This leaves the whole apartment humid and smelling of gross plumbing water. We told them at 8am that this had happened and they did not send anybody til 6pm. Therefore we now are left to deal with gross smells and loud noises after we get home from a long day at work. Do not live here unless you want to deal with potential unlivable environment situations. They also do nothing about dogs barking loud every early morning and late night even after multiple noise complaints.

Capri on Camelback was the first apartment complex I visited. It was the day after Thanksgiving and there was definitely a feeling of Holiday Cheer in the air. Julie, who set a bar in service every other tour guide since failed to meet took me on my tour. Julie made an out-of-towner feel like he belonged. She was incredible. In fact, there wasnt even a close second at any other building I visited. Julie has gone above and beyond what any reasonable prospective resident could ever expect. Hence, the reason Im planning on moving into Capri on Camelback sometime this week.Although, the grounds are beautiful and the apartment I hope to move into is pristine having been newly renovated I think its the people you live with and amongst thats most important. There is a sense of community evident everywhere you turn. Its that love and those relationships we form that makes where you live a home. Capri on Camelback and Staff has set the standard in living!I was so impressed by the genuine concern of Julie on my behalf that I literally felt guilty touring other buildings. From someone in the service industry that is trusted daily with other peoples lives and well being I greatly appreciate any person who legitimately cares for another, above and beyond their own call of duty.PS I also had the pleasure of working with Lori (I hope Ive spelled it correctly) who inconvenienced herself as well on my behalf.I want to be sure that the powers that be know that their efforts in running a 5 star apartment complex have produced an uncommon result that I was unable to find anywhere else.

I have only been here 6 days so far and the community itself has not been too bad. However, please do not believe the leasing office when they tell you ac and heating are included in the rent...that statement may be true, however you get no control over the temperature of your apartment. It is always hot. When I called and asked for an explanation, I was told its a chiller system and the thermostat will never be able to go below 70 which might not so bad....if it would actually get to that. Had I known this, I would have gone somewhere else for the AC alone. As someone from out of state, I was under the impression that everyone in Arizona needed air conditioning. As I mentioned, i moved here from out of state and the leasing agent was less than helpful when we got here. We had traveled 22 hours and it was just my mom and I here to unpack my Uhaul. Mary Jo handed me my keys and packet of stuff and sent me on my way. The least we expected was to be shown where my apartment was since we had never actually seen it, but that was asking too much. My mom asked if there was a cart or a dolly of some sort to assist in my move to which Mary Jo promptly stated the cart was only for residents and their packages.....seriously?! Apparently the check I had just handed over didnt make me a real resident. My apartment was on the second floor, in a corner and there was no easy way for two women to move an entire uhaul in without passing out (which my mom did) due to limited parking and the high temps.Very dog friendly, convenient location, and the deli is awesome! Just wish the leasing office was a little more forthcoming and friendly. The high temp of my apartment doesnt make me look forward to coming home :(

I lived at this complex for a little over a year. This was the most disgusting apartment I have ever lived in. I read the reviews but was relocating from out of state and needed a place to live. However, I should have listened to my gut feeling. First off, these apartments were taken over by Pinnacle about halfway through my lease. When this happened, I noticed an abundance of rats, cockroaches and even lizards not only outside but inside the buildings. The biggest cockroach that I had ever seen actually crawled under my door into my apartment. The parking is horrible and my car was ruined by other tenants. My car was also keyed at one point but I was told by office staff that there are no cameras in the parking lot and there was nothing they could do. When moving out, I found out that building E (the building I was living in) had turned into the “low income building” or section 8 housing. This explained all of the drug addicts aimlessly wandering the property and children around age 7 out past 10 pm singing Colt 45 poolside. There was no where to park the UHaul and everywhere I tried to park it, tenants were screaming and cussing at me. At one point, some degenerate was in my uhaul looking through my possessions until I let my dog off of the leash to scare her away. I couldn’t get out fast enough. Luckily I had a German Shepherd who was able to protect me and scare away majority of criminals. This property does have prime location, but it’s not even worth the quality of life you will experience here.

Easy access to the best parts to town - Scottsdale, Temp, and Biltmore. For the apartment itself, it is clean and well kept. Best place for the price in this area. I do not understand the other reviews, been here 5 months and have no complaints. I did see a bug once in my apartment, but they will spray your place for free so thats all that mattered to me!Parking - it is not great, but you have to know where to park. I use the back lot to get shade and avoid cars. Never had any issues with damage or someone breaking in to it, they have security that ride around the place at night so that has never happened to me.Laundry - they have a few places: in my unit and one in the common area. You can use a credit card to load up their laundry card so that is pretty nice.Pool and spa are really nice, a great place to relax and even meet your neighbors.Overall a great place to live at an affordable price.

The location is great. At one time this place was probably fantastic. If I had to be honest, Greystar ran it into the ground. Pinnacle is just the management company and they arent bad, Tina is really good and fair. Greystar did a good job at putting band-aids on until they sold the property. So the new owner,s I believe were part of a bait and switch. Got in over their heads and the rest is history. The place has dramatically gone down hill. You have drug deals going down, car break ins, laundry stolen , rats running around the grounds and chewing through drywall. Drug raids, huge police presence (officers actually told me to move out as soon as possible and take my kids north. what does that tell you?), people walking around like zombies-stoned out of their minds. One of my favorites was finding the used condom in the rocks between C & D building (kids saw too-gross!), not to mention the random needles in the parking lot. Its become its own sanctuary city. Merchants across the street having to deal with shop lifting due to the new tenants at the Capri. I actually saw a man taking a bath in the hot tub. It is not safe for kids to play outside any longer. I had 4 floods in my apartment. The plumbing and electrical are old. None of the outlets are on the same voltage/wattage. Section 8 & Second Chance residents- look I believe everyone should have a roof over their head. Not all are bad but there is a stigma with section 8 and second chance people and from what I saw and experienced the dregs were moved in. Its like a total carni freak show there. There needs to be some standards as to who is placed and who is not. The only way to fix the place is to take a wrecking ball to it, level it and put high end homes or condos there. I wish they would. The rent charged here is NOT worth what you are given and what you have to deal with. If you dont care about aesthetics or safety or clean working amenities and you want your drug dealer close by, by all means move in. Otherwise steer clear. Im waiting for the PV homeowners and PCDS parents who live there to get wind and make a stink to end the madness. So when you read these reviews, the majority are telling you the same thing. The good reviews have been written by some past and current employees trying to cancel out the real truthful reviews.

If you inspect your rent bill, you will find 5 different types of fees that LITERALLY cannot be explained by the leasing staff because they do third party billing. I have not and did not live here but I applied to live here by paying the $50 management fee and the must pay $100 administration fee. Cheri was the staff member that contacted me via email and she was very standoffish and generally unfriendly. I was moving across country and applied for a lease that was open starting 1/29/2016 with a set rent of 880 a month. Then after explaining that I was not going to be able to be in town until the following saturday, they said that if that was my new date the new monthly rent was now $940 because of high demand. I find it quite ridiculous that waiting another week would cause my rent to be raised $60, after I had paid over $150 to apply. This $880 was also after the original rent was 776 when I had originally called. The management staff that I talked to was terrible, and were not understanding at all about my situation. It is very disappointing to me as I was basically dead set on moving in, even after reading reviews on other websites about the terrible management staff. Also, Cheri said she had talked to her assistant manager and that I was to make a decision that day whether I was moving in that date or not. Take your money elsewhere.

I will be honest.... your experience at Capri is going to be drastically impacted by whomever you end up living by (neighbors)..... and whatever you were used to in previous living situations.Initial Move In: Pretty standard. I got lucky because my unit was on the first floor, I was close to the parking lot, and the patio was open to the walkway so it was easy to get in and out.Maintenance: I have only ever called Maintenance for one thing, My dishwasher leaking. In about 1 month, they replaced it FOUR times, each time with another used dishwasher that started leaking after one wash... or maybe they just tried to fix it with Duct-tape.... in any case, after the fourth one I just stopped calling and using it. For the most part I take care of all of my own issues.... Its just easier that way.Amenities: The Pool is amazing!! Huge and beautiful. Plenty of grills available for grilling. They have a mailroom, but it feels kind of hit or miss if the delivery people choose to use it. The Gym looks pretty well stocked and large, but I have never used it. Their Business Center PC could really use an Upgrade (windows XP). The laundry room situation..... okay, so The washers need to be upgraded (which I think they are in the process of doing). Generally speaking the laundry rooms seem to be the dirtiest places in the complex. Dirt, lint, trash.... but I do use them simply out of convenience. Wherever I move to next will definitely have in unit washer and dryer.Ambiance: Okay, so.... this place has seriously pest issues, which is odd since pest control is one of the fees on your monthly bill. You can here Rats in the walls and in the ceiling crawling around... and I dont mean small rats.... big ones. I saw one in my kitchen once too. I see roaches from time to time but none in my unit. In the area where people take their dogs out between the buildings there can be a lot of flies which is most noticeable if youre on the first floor. Back to living on the first floor, the structure of the patios is kind of annoying. It was convenient for moving in and when I had better neighbors, but now it is just annoying. People are constantly walking in front of your patio, and on the first floor the patios between two units are right next to each other with no barrier so you do not get any privacy. It can also be very loud with the ground keeping that they do on a regular basis. At this point I try not to use my patio. They really should install a barrier between the 1st floor patios. Also, in the last 6 months their does seem to be more homeless people moving in.... I am not sure why....Price and Location: Location is amazing. Everything is walking distance. Great bars, restaurants, cigar lounges shopping, theaters... its all around. You almost dont even need a car!!! Pricing is the best deal you will get in the area. Mostly because they are very old, but also because they have an interesting way of rolling the utilities into the rent which is cool. Conclusion: If you can afford a little more, you might want to check a couple other places in the area. I dont hate this place, it has a pros and cons. The real tipping factor I think is just going to be what kind of neighbors you end up with.... which can change at any moment.

I would love it if there was a no star rating to write a review on this location. What started out to be a great place to live the first year ended up being a dump once the new management took over. I was living here for over 2 yrs.Bed bugs, rats and even crack/meth heads vacation here and live here. The week we began to move out. My next door neighbors apartment was raided. Police bagged up weapons (assault rifle and ammo), money and a large amount of meth. I was living right next door to a meth lab. I think if the place would have blown up we still would have been charge an early termination of contract fee. This place is bug infested! Residents get charged a monthly fee for having a company come out and spray the complex for bugs. To be honest I havent seen anyone since the first year I started living here. Probably never will either.Ever since the new management took over the pool has been a shady color of green. Which they now just recently cleaned. After hearing so many complaints they had to do something about it of course.Section 8 is now accepted here. Dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with it but once you start accepting nothing but crack/meth heads and folks that arent all the way there in the head. Then theres a problem. Management doesnt care because they are getting paid for accepting them. This group of people running the complex are no better than the company themselves. I get an email reminder that this Saturday is Margarita Bar at the pool. Who in there right mind would offer these people a drink. I guess the same people that offered them a place to live for a fraction of the price of what it costs non-crazy folks to live here.Laundry, community laundry room where you have to keep an eye out for your clothes unless you want them stolen. A lady and her husband from upstairs had 4 loads of laundry stolen from them. Its sad but true. I always kept a timer running while doing laundry. The only thing I will miss is having a convenient store on property. Great service, always a good conversation with the clerk and there was a deli to order food.I could keep going for a bit longer but whats the point. Im out that hell hole now. Hopefully if you read all the reviews, youll come to find out that this is not the place for you to live, its a place that youll go crazy in. Youll know its true because if you read the multiple negative reviews you find people saying the same thing over and over again. Good luck, youll need it!

Your car will get dented and scratched. The spots are entirely too small to fit any car into them. They need to redo their parking lots ASAP. They jacked the price up nearly $300 a month to renew - uh, no way! The appliances and finishes arent even upgraded and its just a basic apartment. I could rent a very nice apartment for the same price theyre charging for their standard. When I told them Im not renewing due to the outrageous price, they all of a sudden could make it a better deal. Sorry, shouldnt have been ultra greedy the first time to a current tenant. Their management is TERRIBLE. Be warned, you better take pictures of everything in the apartment before you move in and when youre turning your keys back in. You need proof of how it was when you got there and how you left it, otherwise they will try to cheat you out of your money. They tried to charge me $500 to replace the carpet when one week before I moved out, they inspected it and said it was perfectly fine. I was hardly in my apartment and didnt spill, tear, stain, etc the carpet at all. It was still new. So when I got my final bill and saw this, I of course asked them what their reasoning was, I showed them the pictures I took when I moved out (thank god!) to prove that they were spotless and pristine. They said there were holes in the carpet, but they didnt even have pictures, that someone is already moving into that same apartment, and they actually didnt even replace the carpet. They were charging me for new carpet when they didnt even buy new carpet. What crooks! She said she would revise it and see if they can give the full refund back - DUH! They ended up agreeing and when I went back to the office to confirm the amount Id be getting back and when, the same girl that told me they were charging me for the carpet because of holes said that no that wasnt the reason, but that its actually standard of them to automatically charge for brand new carpet replacement and then in a few weeks theyll go back in and take it off if they didnt replace the carpet. Yeah right. They will charge you and keep your money unless you pay attention and challenge them on their lies. It has been 3 more weeks past when I was suppose to receive my check from them and MORE excuses from that girl. Shes perfectly fine blaming others for not doing their job and saying its not her doing, but she didnt follow up and she clearly lied to me several times. She said they magically cut the check today, the day I called to complain, but if I dont receive it in the next few days, theyll be hearing from a lawyer. BE WARNED. You better watch what theyre charging you and dont stop bugging them until they make it right. What a shame because the apartment is nice and like I said, very quiet, but management makes this a place to steer clear of.

I have lived here for a little over a month now and I have had a very positive experience. The apartments themselves are nice on the inside, the grounds are kept up well and remains clean. Onsite convient store, really helps when you don’t feel like going out. The pool is huge and goes deep (which I love), and the pool area has huge palm trees and makes it have a resort kind of feel to it. The leasing agents were always helpful, any issue I had the mantienance fixed it the same day. I’m not sure about the other negative reviews on here because I honestly haven’t had any issues at all. Location is very good too. I really do enjoy living here!

I moved into Capri in October of 2017. No hot water in my shower unless I ran the water for at least 20 minutes. 90 days later after I got a lawyer, I could get hot water instantly. May of 2018 building D on the 4th floor started hearing rats in the walls. May 19th I saw one rat in my kitchen, ate through my snacks, next day May 20th, saw another one. Place is infested. I am not the only one who has seen or heard them. I know of at least 7 apartments that are empty today because of the issue.

If I could give zero stars I would my mother lives in these apartments at the moment she is experiencing water damage in her apartment and the apartment manager I think her name was Tina refuses to do anything about it other than charge her additional amounts to move into another unit why should she have to be charged to move out of the water damaged unit. The water damage has been going on for as long as she has lived here which is over a year they only patch up the outside and never repair the actual leak so the water continues to leak over the patch and it’s creating mold but they refuse to admit that there’s any mold in the building when we all know that there is.It takes the new management very long to reply or respond to any issues you’re having she submitted a request for a water leak in early August and it wasn’t looked at until September 7 once again patched over the wet paint .Then the kitchen started leaking water all over who knows what kind of water that is or where it’s coming from it could be dirty sink water . Submitted that complaint and they stated that they fix the leak in the apartment above so that She shouldn’t be getting any more water leaked in the kitchen .Next the bathroom starts leaking now this is horrendous She asked them to move me units they ask her for more money like it’s her fault really they should be doing this as a courtesy for the inconvenience that She has been going through and the health factors as well.Shes been a consistent tenant in a very good one at that paying her rent every month never missing a month so why should she have to go through with the stress. She is asking to move units because her apartment is uninhabitable and I don’t feel like her health is in a good environment I’m scared for her and feel really bad that she is in this situation.Tina asked why she stayed here for this long if she has been having issues as if to say she’s stupid for that, I took offense to that it should not be a concern to her, Tina should be concerned about renovating everyone’s units not trying to scam them for there money as long as possible. If my mother had not complained they would of never renovated her apartment they would of skipped right on over her.Not to mention There is rats all over and the pool stays filthy.Last but not least They couldn’t even give her the courtesy of letting her stay in a hotel room while they fix her ceiling like most rental management companies do instead they let her breath in the toxins and dust from them drilling. I pray that they let her out of her lease with no cancellation fees or move her into a new unit Before she gets sick from whatever is in that apartment.
