I moved into the apartment around December, it a great place for a first time apartment. Its very quite and has many small businesses in walking distance. The maintenance person Ariel, who take care of the grounds is very nice and easy to talk to when you need a situation to be look at. The manager itzel was such a nice landlady very soft spoken and is very responsive to situation that need attended too.

For starters, parking is an absolute *nightmare* if you have more than 1 vehicle. Front office also doesnt give you any warning about LOUD renovations going on next door. So if you work night shift like me, its hard to get sleep here. There seems to be something new added to the rent every month - no transparency regarding monthly utilities or common area maintenance costs. There is also an animal abuser living on site that the front office doesnt seem to care about. Sure, its quiet on good days and maintenance is responsive but this place is not transparent with monthly costs and the parking situation SUCKS.

I moved into Plaza 550 in October of 2020, the first couple of months, I had a few different problems with my unit, nothing major, but every-time something came up, Itzel, in management and Ariel, in maintenance, have responded and found solutions to everything - as any good “landlord” should. They both are responsive and tackle any issue I have had, with care. I like this community, the place is well kept, and everyone I’ve crossed paths with is quite friendly. I especially like the smart locks on the doors and the smart thermostat, the locks make me feel safer.

This is the first apartment Ive gotten on my own. This place is pretty cool. Brittany at the front office is super nice. Maintenance is always around to fix any problems. In fact, Ariel, the maintenance man is always professional and will attend to any problems you may have in your unit. He responds to late night emergency maintenance issues in a timely matter. Overall, Ive been enjoying my tenancy here.

If you’re like me you are checking out the reviews of every apartment complex that you’re considering and weeding through the authentic ones and potentially misleading negative ones.I moved in 2 days ago, so my review is solely based on my application process and the unit so far of moving in.Minda - the property manager - is fantastic. I walked in to the office to tour and was given 2 hours of time. I ask a ton of questions and can be pretty interrogative and Minda was patient enough to provide answers (and documentation) for all of my specific questions.Since moving in I have seen the maintenance team on numerous occasions. Ariel (sp) has been extremely friendly and has always greeted me in a friendly way and is always asking if everything was working as expected in the unit.I have seen him approximately 5 times, in the span of 2 days, and it is the same friendly experience each time. For the complex as a whole - it is extremely diverse, and I specifically seek that out with complexes that I rent. My unit is SO INCREDIBLY QUIET it’s almost unnerving. I have yet to see any pests and have had no issues with anything thus far.One last note: today the water had to be shut off at 10:45 for an emergency repair in another unit. I received an email at 10:52 that stated the water was shut off, had already been turned back on, with a notification that future shut offs for the incident would be sent days in advanced.I highly recommend checking this place out. Minda and Ariel are amazing - and so far the neighbors and community have been amazing as well!

At the time of this writing I am a current tenant, and I really like it here. The proximity to everything, highways included, is great. It’s a quiet area. The apartments are renovated. The property manager is great and responds to anything quickly and efficiently. The maintenance professional is very courteous and will schedule with you for any repairs to make sure you can be there if you choose. He does for me. I have found it to be more quiet than expected inside my unit. I have high end fixtures and beautiful countertops. I highly recommend living here.

I lived here from May 2018 to May 2020. From move in until around October 2019, things were pretty good. Unfortunately, around then management changed to a new company who were irresponsible and frankly negligent of current tenants. The very kind and helpful office manager and the responsive and awesome maintenance guy were both fired. The maintenance guy was never replaced, as I was informed by the horrendously rude new office manager who thought it was just fine to have a big set of apartments with no ability to get any maintenance at all. I called about a cricket infestation in my apartment and no one ever came. I also called because my fridge was leaking sticky black oil all over the floor and was told this wasnt an emergency and they werent going to fix it.There are PLENTY of apartments around that are as nice or nicer and as cheap or cheaper. Dont waste your time with these people.

I was a resident since 11/2009 when rent was $499 and yearly increase was $20 a year. I am moving out the end of July. This is the most honest review you will get. I have seen many tenants, management and maintenance come and go. Maintenance with every management company has been pretty great for the most part including Ariel Martin Del Cmapo. The property sold sgain for the 3rd or 4th time since I moved there back in October. As usual with no notice of any changes in ownership or management. I found out because my oven needed replacing and I had to wait for new owners to take over. Then without notice, If a outside company comes to inspect your apartment with no explanation, then assume they are selling the property. I later found out they were not going to be renewing current tenants leases when I asked upon getting an email they were going to be doing construction. I wanted to know what the construction was for and what it meant for current residents. Well, needless to say my base rent without mandatory renters insurance, water, trash, sewer and electric was going from under $800 to $1189 if I moved into a renovated apartment on the first floor and renewed. At first, I was told it would be $1160. But, then was told because I didnt lock in it would be $1189. I was never told I needed to lock in the rate. I have seen the renovated apartments and in my opinion not worth it. Basically, just a refresh of the apartment. Therefore, like many of the previously existing tenants, I probably would have finally moved anyway. But, its an example of the lack of communication I have recently experienced there. When I originally asked if there was a way for me to keep my current unit, it seemed like it was going to be so difficult a process. Of course, after being in the unit almost 12 years knowing how I maintained it without pets, bed bugs, major roach problems, and maintained maintenance, I wasnt trying to go into an unknown unit where some of the tenants had those issues and poorly maintained their units. I have seen some things. Then when new management took over all of a sudden without notice the office was no longer making copies for residents and sending faxes. I am not talking 100 page documents. I am talking a few pages. Not a big deal. Just go to UPS or Fedex store or buy an All-in-One. But, it goes to how things have changed. As a long-term resident, I felt my tenancy was not appreciated by management. I dont think they care about maintaining long-term tenants or not. Upon discussing my move out, the carpet in my apartment was mentioned. She did agree for me not to worry about it. But, it shouldnt have been brought up. It was there before me. So, basically 12 or more years old. I was under the impression that you could not be held responsible for a 12 year old carpet. They never wanted to upgrade my flooring except to vinyl wood and I would have had to pay an extra $70 a month or market rate for it. The only reason I got a new faucet was because the old one broke. The previous owners wanted to charge $50 a month for it. The late rent fees are out of this world. $75 for one day late on top of daily fees. Do not be late. With that said, for the most part, it is a quiet property only two buildings. They are building a huge high rise next door. I expect the property will change hands several times more. It seems like it cant keep an owner. I enjoyed my tenancy up until recent changes. You can probably go back and see my previous Google and Yelp reviews. Maintenance has always been pretty great as I previously stated. But, because of my recent experiences, my previous 5 star rating has been downgraded to a 3. Oh, if you dont like dogs, this isnt the property for you. It seems like almost everyone has one there now. If you do, then you will be happy.

Just recently toured the apartments and dealt with Management to get more information on renting. The place is nothing special… Very basic and you’re basically paying $1000 for a living kind of near downtown but it is close to work so I considered it. So thankful I had a friend that had been living there for a while because as I was about to sign and my friend showed me the mice infestation in his apartment. They were chewing through the wood in his closet. He is now terminating the lease because of the issue but Management hasn’t responded to the issue and it’s been over a week… I understand buildings that are old may go through this but this tells me the place is much dirtier then with the fresh coat of paint on the wall makes it seem… I would advise stay away... so disturbing!

My fiance and I just moved into plaza 550 and weve enjoyed it so far. The apartments are in close proximity to some great restaurants. David, the manager, has been great with answering questions and making the whole experience quick and painless. Apartments look great and have a good amount of space for the price and area.

These are great apartments close to Downtown Phoenix. Worth the price and very reasonable considering the area. My favorite thing is they are very quiet! When I come home late from work there is usually no one else out and Ive never been woken up by parties or anything loud. Maintenance is very fast and very helpful. The only reason I wouldnt give this place 5 stars is parking. There is not very much parking for guests, and if you get an assigned spot next to someone who cant park, the office isnt quick to fix it. Other than that I would definitely recommend these apartments.

I lived here for two years (2015-2017). If you are looking for somewhere cheap and just need a basic apartment this place is fine. They are cheaper than other one-bedrooms in the area. The complex was pretty quite. It is all one-bedroom units, so there arent any kids, except a one or two on weekends once in a while. I didnt have any issues with bugs or any problems with maintenance, although I didnt call them for anything. There isnt anything exciting or nice about these apartment but there isnt anything horrible either. The office hours were very limited, which made it hard to get packages.

Ive lived in this complex for a few months. At first it seemed okay, nothing very special, but a fair place to live. Within the first few weeks, my apartment was entered without permission and a mess left in the kitchen which looked like someone had cleaned out a paint tin but left some paint. I went to the office and they claimed they dont show it as entered. We changed the locks at that point. I had another instance of it being very obvious someone had entered my apartment with a similar mess left in the sink and by the bathtub while I was at work. Again I checked the office and they claimed nobody entered. I later found that when the lock was changed it was done so incorrectly and was essentially twirling in the door knob doing next to nothing. The pins to the lock essentially all fell out in the end.I have escalated my concern of safety to the office and asked how many times their records show my apartment had been entered. They said twice. I have spoken and confirmed with the complex at least four times granting them entry to my apartment, their records are not complete and makes me further uncertain as to their claims they did not enter my residence. Entering without permission is a violation of the lease agreement when an emergency isnt at place other residents have also stated they have had their apartment entered without permission. At that point I requested the complex escalate the issue and was told I would be contacted within a week. I waited over two weeks without being contacted. I reached out to ConAm directly with the concern and after not hearing back as the weeks pass by have sent a second message to them.If you want a complex who cares about the residents and especially in matters of safety and security, do not live here. The maintenance man himself is really cool, however the office and how they handle business is a complete joke. There are also next to no amenities, there is one pool, and the laundry rooms they offer has machines which rarely work and will eat your money.Trust me. You can find better.

Cheap apartments for the location. Im a grad student so I needed something relatively close to my school which is the only reason I chose this place. Apartments are okay but small and walls are very thin. However, my neighbors and noise level are the deciding factor in not renewing my lease.Ive lived here for almost 8 months and downstairs neighbors have been a constant problem. Very loud music, VERY loud bass, and very loud verbal arguments during all hours and it just makes it a nightmare to live here. Im constantly studying and need quiet and these neighbors just dont allow it. The guy is also very angry and aggressive when I try to ask him to turn it down, management has done nothing (there have also been 3 different managers during my time here which isnt exactly good). I cant wait for my lease to be up.----Update: Current management has reached out and offered support in dealing with the neighbors and Ive updated my review accordingly

My boyfriend and I have been living here for a year and just re signed our lease. We have had no problems with the management of the property. David did so much to accommodate our moving in date last year, despite some problems with the previous tenant of our unit. Our a/c went out in the summer, and David had maintenance come in within a couple of hours it was fixed. They recently put in new washers and dryers and renovated the laundry facilities, and are always making upgrades to the complex as a whole to make it better and nicer. We previously lived at a property managed my ConAm and loved it there. Unfortunately, it became too expensive for us to sign a new lease there, so we were very glad to see that this property was under ConAm management. The price is very reasonable for the location. Overall I am very happy here and happy to have re signed my lease for another year.
