I always want to make sure i give credit where credit is due. Susie and Daisy in the front office is an absolute pleasure. They do whatever they can to help and understand ALL situations. I can’t say the same about anyone else in that office.maintenance needs a 360 in staff and people they send into your home. the importance of some request should be top of the line. but they treat NOTHING as if it is important. I stayed here for 2 years, i placed at least 10 request to have the same thing replaced. they would come, put a bandaid on it and leave. the scorpions need to be controlled. my stove caught on fire two times and they REFUSED to replace it! CVG property put on my credit that i owe $4072 to the company after i moved out AFTER i gave an approved 30 day noticed, signed by Caesar who was at the time the property manager. I moved out 2 weeks before my lease was up, so that was a bit much being that my rent was only $1,415. Management needs to do better and CVG should be sued.

My husband and I just moved in but we love it here! Its simple, no frills, but also has everything you would need and even some extra things that you simply want. Very clean, quiet, safe place. Buildings are only 2 stories which is nice. Weve had no trouble parking, the leasing staff is SO kind, and any problems weve had get fixed very quickly. They have pest control available to come every Friday which is convenient, but we only needed the initial spray on move in. The biggest perk is the area! Its so nice and convenient. We love living here!

An amazing experience staying at Stonebridge. We stayed at the apartments for 3 years and now it seems those were really amazing. Entire staff at the office and servicing are genuinely helpful. At Stonebridge, there are so many good things.I would like to start with the Service and Maintenance. These guys are too good. Never had my complaints got unresolved and were serviced the very next day or at many times same day itself. Yes, big items took a few days but were fixed appropriately.I have spoken to many friends and have been to many other apartments too, and oh boy this is class apart. Many nearby apartments, have a waiting period of 7 days before they look at your complaint but not here at Stonebridge. At the office, always had a pleasant experience.Ceaser is a very great guy and tries as best as he can to help resolve your problems although we didnt had many.James is extremely polite and understanding. Never had a dull moment talking with him.Wish such good location and great service, I definitely recommend this.

Sharing for my mom I have lived at Stonebridge under several managements for 20 years now. Present company was okay when they first took over property. The last two years have declined. I only ask for something if something breaks. I can count on one hand what Ive asked for in my 20 years. Apartment hasnt been painted, carpet is 15 years old, flooring same, cigarette burns in counters and I dont say anything. My dryer just broke and they did replace it with an even older dryer. My patio railing is falling apart and dangerous. I have spoken face to face with manager Cesar four times in the last couple of years. When outside was painted they even painted over this railing that needs replacing. He keeps telling me it will be fixed when it fits into the budget. Seems in two years it should be replaced. I could do it myself in about 4 hours. The pool which was the reason I took this apartment, was heated when I moved in but once the heater broke they never replaced it. Then a couple years ago they hired a crew to resurface the pool and they botched it. Whatever they used started peeling off a week later. I have repeatedly brought this to the attention of everyone in the office and was always ignored. Now theyve had issues with operation of the pool forcing closure most of the summer. Told them Im sure its the stuff coming off the pool. Again ignored. Pool closed most of July. Got 3 different answers from people in the office. One they had accepted a bid on work and it would be done last Thursday and pool would be resurfaced when it got cooler. Two the girl had been off for 3 days and didnt know anything. Three from Suzie the owner finally approved a bid and it will be fixed but they will be resurfacing now in August with temps up to 117. After 2 years they couldnt wait 2 more months when fewer people use the pool? No they decide to do it mid summer. And the answer I get is there are 3 other pools. I am 69 years old and disabled. I take my grandson out and Im not tracking across a hot parking lot to another pool in 117 degree weather. And when I have asked to talk to Cesar I was told he had been out for the past 8 days so I guess hes on vacation. In an office of maybe 4 people she didnt know whether or not her boss was on vacation. If youre looking for an apartment walk away from here.

I have read all the reviews, and here is my take. I have lived here for one year, and I’m about to sign up for my second. If you could not get immediately approved, check your finances. If you have an insect problem, clean your apartment. This is a no frills apartment complex, with a very respectful front office staff, and a maintenance department that does their job in an outstanding fashion. There are no resort style pools, cabanas, and movie theaters. If you want that, go pay $800 a month more and select a different community. I will stay right here on Thunderbird Road, the best East/ West St. to live on in north Phoenix, with no traffic. It’s safe, it’s well-maintained, and my neighbors have been phenomenal.

I have lived here since last December 2018. The front office staff and Daisy are amazing! The maintenance staff and David are top notch as well. During the recent heat wave in August, our AC stopped blowing cold air after and APS power outage. That was a Sunday evening. I called Daisy in the front office Monday morning and she sent David over immediately, he found the compressor had broken. They immediately ordered us a new AC unit and it was installed before I got home from work Tuesday. Within 1 day our AC was fixed.Ive heard horror stories from friends about apartment management companies taking forever to fix AC units in the summer in AZ. Stonebridge Apartments is an excellent community and has an amazing professional staff. I would reccomend living here, affordable, great area, and great staff.

(1) I want to first start by stating the leasing office representatives are exceptional at what they do. They will work and engage with you on finding a prompt solution to any request. Members of leasing staff are upstanding principled people and for that I say Thank You.(2) This review under no circumstance is inscribed to the leasing staff. However it is intended for CVG properties, Stonebridge management, and COX communications.(3) I received a letter on my door stating; COX will be conducting an installation on June 11, 2019. When set date rolled around COX surfaced at my place of residence and installed a new coaxial line. The pictures attached below are the reason for this review.(4) Instead of doing the job correctly section (2) decided to lay the coaxial cable over the dry wall then put a plastic rod over as if it helps with the aesthetics. In addition there is now a giant hole in my wall. It pains me to pay upwards of $1,000 for an apartment that looks like this.(5) There was no strategic plan or any preparation for this installation besides saving money. This gives great insight on the CVGs leadership team. I hope people can grasp a better understanding on section (2) companies mission & values.(6) If section (2) wants to rectify this complication they can go through the proper channels within their organization to contact me.

We caught them and I took them to the office first thing and I was very upset and showed the jar of scorpions and the manager blamed me saying I was lying! Wouldnt let me out of my lease. They called Burns exterminator co. And they found babies and told me they have been trying to get rid of the infestation for ten years with no luck. They told me that particular apartment unit was built on a hot spot for scorpions. So the management knew that it was an issue. Nice place until you need anything and you wont get it. Thumbs down for this apartment community. Enter at your own risk.

Had black mold coming through my bedroom wall and didnt notice it until I had to repeatedly go to the VA because my breathing was getting progressively worse, when I found the mold I told the manager about it, they pretty much told me that they werent going to do anything about it until I paid rent, which I was 1 day late on because of my pay schedule. Also they are now trying to charge me 5700 dollars for damages when I moved out. When there was Literally nothing wrong with the apartment.

They replaced it with an old, filthy unit. They didnt even bother to wipe it down never mind remove the years of dirt and grease. When I complained to the office I was told I should be happy if it works. Supposedly someone is supposed to come and look at it tomorrow to see what Im upset about. Called and left a message (because no one ever answers the phone) and said I want the manager to come too my apartment when Im here so she can see whats upsetting me. Im at the end of a year-long lease here, and overall, its a pretty nice place. Very friendly, personable staff, grounds are always neat and clean, and maintenance/repair requests are always answered within 48 hours, and the units themselves are spacious and nice. Staff is always happy to help when you have an issue. My criticisms: parking situation is not great. Each resident gets one assigned parking spot under shade, but no one parks where they are supposed to. A lot of residents park in the uncovered guest parking because its closer to their units, and Ive had my own reserved space parked in a few times. Moderate inconvenience. Also, the gate that is supposed to be closed at night hardly ever works, so its always open, and that poses a mild safety concern. Another thing is the price. Rent and other services (like pet rent, application fee, and deposit) are very expensive are very expensive compared to other apartment complexes Ive seen. My base rent is $945/month for my two-bedroom unit. Personally, I feel like its overpriced. Youll want to make sure this is really in your price range before moving in here. But, if it is, this is really not a bad place to live! Id renew if I could afford it better!

I used to live in subsidized housing (so, the projects) and I didnt have as many problems there as I did here. There was never any available parking, and on multiple occasions I would have to park outside of leasing office for the night. The security gate was broken for about 80% of the time we lived here. The upgraded apartments feature linoleum flooring instead of carpet, the cheap cabinets are just painted a different color, and the appliances are stainless steel. Those three things are the only difference, its not worth the added rent cost. Our neighbors upstairs would throw trash down onto our porch all the time and the office did nothing about this. Anytime I had a question or something to report I was dismissed by whomever was in the office at the time. In addition to this, during our last month of living here our apartment was broken into multiple times and we were essentially told that it was our problem and the office manager was dismissive, unsympathetic, and incredibly rude. I would sooner recommend the Section 8 housing I lived in than this apartment complex.

Being our first apartment we were attracted by the low prices and friendly staff. As we were figuring out which apartment we would be in we were given our apartment number and move in date. A week later we received a call and were told that the apartment chosen would not be ready by said time. Graciously the team offered us another apartment with new carpets and a fireplace (exciting) for the same price. Being very pleased with the service provided, even with the lease experience being very uneducated. We felt comfortable going to the office with any problem we faced. However their thoroughness is lacking when it comes to details such as APS. BUT, the area is nice and conveniently placed, when you do move in however, make sure to read the fine print.

I lived at this complex for 6 years. Let me preface this by saying that I never encountered any major issues while living there. If I ever had a maintenance issue it was normally resolved in about 48 hours and the front office would generally work with me if I had any issues. Unfortunately, I felt that the complex was just in general taking a turn for the worse. The tenants that were moving in seemed questionable at best and regular upkeep of the units did not occur. The location is great and the rent use to be very reasonable but has periodically escalated above what one would consider to be comparable in the market. It served its purpose while I lived there but I am quite thankful I dont have to call it home anymore.

Such a shame this apartment complex went downhill once it changed management. Its laughable that they are raising peoples rent over $100 a month with new leases. Lantha the property manager will talk down to you and be very condescending if you come to her with a problem the she doesnt deem a big deal. Also with the gates being open from basically 8am to 8pm, I dont feel safe in this apartment complex. Anyone can enter.Such loud neighbors too and seeing how other reviews say the same thing, it seems like the general attitude in the front office when it comes to noise is deal with it. Well, no, I wont deal with it. Ill just move to a nicer and quieter place.

When I moved here last year, I was really excited. The unit I have is small, but perfect for myself. I didnt have too many issues at first but they have slowly, but surely, proven to be more of a problem complex than I originally thought. When I first moved in, I was not made aware there was another unit that had the same number as mine, so had issues setting up utilities. It was eventually resolved somewhat, but was still charged a fee that I was specifically told I would not be charged. I was irritated but just signed the lease so what can I do, and I moved on. Then, my front door would not lock. The latch would not go and still does not shut. I have been told by maintenance they would be back to replace the door frame, never happened it also took hours for them to come by, I had to call the office and ask them to send someone over so I could go to work. My garbage disposal has broken, my sinks have both broken, microwave caught fire, front door still does not close. I put in a request because the light outside my door doesnt turn on and was told it was electrical and they would be back to fix it, it has been a month and still no light. I reached out, for some reason, to renew my lease because honestly, moving is a pain and I dont want to do it. Cesar directed me to the website to select my renewal (would have been nice to get a notice that it was coming up like literally every other complex Ive lived in has done)... but okay. Selected my lease and signed my paperwork. Went to log onto the portal today and see my rent is over $1,000 when my renewal was only supposed to go up $50. I inquired why this was and have not yet heard back, I assume it is because my father needs to sign the paperwork but why would they not have also sent him an email with the lease ready to sign? I was the only one to receive this info? And then over this whole month nobody thought to call me or email me and let me know something needed fixing before billing me? I am so shocked and how thoughtless this complex is. They only care if you pay your rent on time and I have NEVER had an issue with paying my rent. I have never had such a difficult time communicating with an apartment complex before and am really regretting my decision to live here.Edit: It is now December and although Cesar and his staff have ensured me multiple times that there would be no issue with my rent on my portal, it still continues. After I confronted them the first time about my incorrect rent because I was not paying month to month and that I had proof showing I signed the lease for the next year, they fixed my rent on the portal and said it wouldnt happen again. In November, I went to pay my rent and AGAIN they were trying to charge me month to month. I again told them the rent portal was incorrect and that we already went over this, that I have signed the lease and all forms were correct so my rent should not be as high as it was. It took 3 days but they finally resolved it and promised me this would not happen again. It is now DECEMBER. The portal now shows my last leases rent PLUS my new leases rent. The staff at this complex are completely incompetent and you cannot take their word for anything. 3x now they have told me my rental portal would be fixed and 3x now they have shown me they cannot do this simple task! I there is absolutely no way I will be renewing my lease here and I strongly suggest anyone looking at this property take a good long think about what they will be signing up for.

To whom this may concernMy fiancé and I had a very unfortunate experience at your apartment complex starting April 26th. To sum up a long story we were in desperate need of a place to live. Apartment and home solutions was helping us find a place fast, that led us to your facility and Suzie in your leasing office. We finally felt at home with the unit that was available and with your leasing staff (Suzie). We admittedly did our application and paid our fees ($278), with promises we could move in that Saturday (April 28th). So instead of spending our weekend that we both had off, taking our time looking at other places we rented a truck and got all our affairs ready to move in on Saturday. To make a long story short why we were in such desperate state for a place to live was because we were supposed to move into Vaseo Apartments the 26th and the unit we leased was no where near livable. So we took our money and ran, & we are due to have a baby at the end of this month.Saturday the day we were told we could come get the keys to the unit we applied for at your facility comes and I called first thing in the morning and was told our application was still pending and they would call me at the end of the day to let me know what the hold up was.I received no call Saturday and waited until almost 2pm on Sunday still nothing. I called around 230pm on Sunday because I knew Suzie said she worked, she answered the phone and was extremely rude. Not the Suzie that talked us into choosing your complex as home. Our conversation went as such “I am to busy to talk to you and explain to you the process right now, I will have to get back to you...” she hung up the phone after that. No goodbye no I’ll call you back, just straight up rude.I don’t know if you could understand my frustration at this point, we were promised we could get our keys on Saturday, we forked over near $300. We could have spent the weekend we had off taking our time looking at all our options. But due to the convenience of Suzie promising we could move in that weekend, and we really did like what your complex had to offer we jumped at the first thing.Monday comes no call.Tuesday comes no call.Wednesday morning Suzie calls my fiancé “you guys can move in today!” He told her that wasn’t going to work for us, we both had work all week and weekend. My fiancé’s parents took us in for the time being, so he told her we could plan a day the following week to take off so we could rent a truck (again) and get settled in. She responded “that will not work for me, we can’t hold it that long” He then told her he would discuss further with me and get back to her.At this point we were over staying at Stonebridge due to the service we were receiving. So we had been spending the Sunday-Wednesday apartment shopping, while waiting for our phone call back from Stonebridge. We found something that suit us better. So after discussing our options on Wednesday after Suzie finally called us, we decided we would rather call somewhere else home.First thing Thursday morning we went into Stonebridge to discuss our frustration with the manager, and to get our wasted $278 dollars back. We were told because we did not cancel the application within 48 hours there was no way to refund the money. I am sorry but $278 dollars is a lot to us, and we did not even hear back from your leasing staff for over 48 hours. So why would we cancel within 48hours? Or how would we even of canceled. He offered to credit our move in $200 extra dollars due to the inconvenience and customer service issues we received. We denied, and left.I feel this is not fair what so ever. Now that we are settled into our new place and finally have time to take out of our day to write this letter of concern we are hoping you will see how awful this situation is and offer some sort of compensation. My name is Kallie Braun and my fiancé is Timothy Johnson

I am a current resident of this property formerly known as Villa Encanto. I am also currently finishing out my 11 year tenure. Up until New Management took over this property, I have lived comfortably and without complaint. The last Office Management team when paying the office a visit, was very open, personable, professional, and willing to assist. I transferred from one unit to another unit two years ago, and they went above and beyond to make the transition smooth, affordable, and to show appreciation that I continued to stay as a resident instead of moving out altogether. I have never caused a problem and always paid my rent on time. Looking back on two years ago, if I could have foreseen the changes that have now occurred with the property under our new management, I would have definitely moved out altogether. First off. I have never seen a more BOTHERED or put out individual than our current leasing Manager Lantha. When approached with anything! I also never see another member of office staff more than once every two months. Rotation is terrible. So there is no opportunity at all to build any type of long lasting professional relationship with anyone. Last week I had a situation in the leasing office that became such an unpleasant experience, I no longer feel comfortable even going in there to simply pay my own rent. My rent has gone up a 100 dollars with the last Lease Renewal. Which is a first in 10 years. I am not quite sure what I am exactly paying extra for. My carpet is filthy as they no longer offer a shampooing with an annual renewal. Appliances outdated and look nothing like the ones shown on the virtual tour, and now on top of it all we have a cockroach infestation in the building which mind you is yet another first in 11 years. Needless to say, I do not at this time anticipate renewing my lease for a 12 yr. tenure unless Customer Care changes substantially.

Worse decision ever. My lease application was approved, and I was told to send in payment for move in costs. Less than a month before my move in date, I was told that my rent would be $60 higher than previously mentioned due to a computer glitch. One week before my move in date, I was told the apartment I was supposed to move in to was actually not available. Oops. They gave me a significantly more expensive option with a smaller square footage and were not willing to help me out in any way regarding price, even though a week before I am supposed to move I now have no apartment. DO NOT LIVE HEREI lived here for 2 years. While it was Villa Encanto, I never had any problems; office staff was friendly, greeted you, etc. The apartment itself wasnt as nice/updated as I would have liked, but I was on a budget and strict time constraint to move so it wasnt bad. I felt fine walking through the complex at night by myself.Imagine my surprise to walk into the office one day in 2014 and realize that ALL of the office staff were gone and replaced with incompetent idiots. A few were nice in the beginning, but every few months, the entire staff would rotate and there would be a new group of people who felt completely bothered that you had the audacity to come in the door. Ok rude. The front gate stopped working, random/unsavory people hanging out in the parking lots, and people constantly moving in and out of the same apartment. Then...the bugs moved in. Im not convinced that MEB actually sprayed for bugs. Roaches were coming in the front door, found dead ones in my cupboard, and there were bugs COMING OUT OF THE SHOWER DRAIN. The last month and a half of living there, I was so freaked out I had to put a shampoo bottle over the drain when i wasnt showering.Lets not forget to mention the office manager, Lantha, and her minions. Firstly, they didnt communicate that the website would change when MEB took over and youd have to set up your login again. When I tried to pay rent, I couldnt log in, so I called the office 4 times and no one answered. I raced home to cut a live check and there are 2 people just sitting in the office ignoring the phones. Seriously? Then they raised my rent $60...because there were upgrades to units. I didnt get upgrades, why am I paying for it?When I had finally dealt with enough of their crap, I moved out. A few weeks before, I placed a maintenance order to repair the blinds in the bedroom that had drooped because they werent installed properly. Get a bill after move-out saying I owe for the blinds that were removed from the property...um, yall neglected the maintenance requests (but came in and fixed the garbage disposal) and the blinds were still in the apartment. Sent them a letter back with proof of the request and that the final bill needed to be amended. Get a call (not Lantha herself) saying my due date for final payment was the next day. I explained that I sent a letter requesting an amended bill, and they said but you still didnt pay the other fees. Why would I pay you any portion if my bill isnt correct????? Well Lantha said shed take off the charge if you bring the rest of the money today because its month end and we need this paid. Not my problem. Mind you its already 3pm and I live in Chandler. So let me rush to finish work downtown, race to Chandler and then to PV in rush hour traffic to give you a check because you dont know how to properly handle business or your finances. In this whole debacle, Lantha refused to speak directly with me.These people suck...as do the apartments.

Your website is very deceiving. The apartments do not look like that. Maybe just the renovated ones but the majority dont.

I recently finally moved out of here. If you want to deal with an incompetent staff that does absolutely nothing to have the backs of their tenants then this is the place for you. Roach infested with a weekly spray of bug cleaner aka water so they can cover their butts. They wanted to charge me (after living there for 4 1/2 yrs and only 6 mo left on my lease) $500/mo to have my sis 2 tiny dogs at my place maybe 1-2x/wk. I mean they knew I didnt own a pet and had seen the 2 dogs before and was never an issue. When I went to management about the roaches they literally blamed me for it. I had roaches in my shower, in my vanity next to my toothbrush, ALL inside my dishwasher (which cleans nothing btw)n inside my blender in my cupboards and dead laying in a spoon all over my sink (I am not a messy person mind you) walls. Even once I was a lunch at a local sandwich place and opened my wallet and one crawled out!!! Like are you kidding me??? Yet they did nothing but blame me for it yet my prior 2 neighbors were some tweekers kids and another girl who per the bug guy said found the same plates of food on her floor in her room week after week. Clearly the issue, NOT ME. They then decided to raise the rent by $100 approx up to over $700/mo. I wouldnt live there for free. Their reasoning was to accommodate to the area of Paradise Valley. Um you cant put a dumpster in the middle of PV and charge people $700 to rent it. Insane. Then they remodeled the gym and changed the locks and charged all us $10 to get a new key. Uh not our idea to change locks. The timeliness of the maintenance staff is absurd. They are friendly but slow. 4th of July weekend I my toilet clogged and Monday when I called FIRST thing when they opened at 8am to have it fixed they A) told me I could have called some after hours emergency # I had never been told about and B) they didnt come to fix my toilet til 11am! 3 hours later!!! Incompetent. Do not get me started on the head management person Lantha. She needs to NOT have her position. She needs to take customer service classes or something. Anyone who has good things to say about obviously either never had to come to her with an issue or only saw her in passing. She to my face verbally blamed me for the roaches and told me word for word I dont care what you think. Wow, and this is my home??? Man I love coming home, not! Nothing was ever her or their fault. I would NOT move here simply because she and MEB runs it. I even emailed her boss about the dog issue and she said in a one word email Yes when I asked her if I would be fined $500 if my siss 2 tiny dogs were seen at my place. Again, I had them once MAYBE 2x a week for a few hours, They NEVER once peed or pooped inside, never cause on issue. They told me well if we let you not pay the pet rent then others will think its ok. Um I dont think the other 900 units care if I watch my sisters dogs for a few hours nor will they claim its unfair. Lastly, before I moved out, I had my place spotless, better than when I moved in minus obviosuly a good carpet clean as normal. Anyone who went through what I did in this hell hole would have and probably should have left as is....youre welcome Lantha ;)

Management is awful, truly awful. They will try and weasel out of paying for things they promised you in the lease, or try and charge you for things you already paid for. My advice if you want to live here because the buildings are alright and the prices are low for the area is to read your lease and know your rights. Most tenants who have been here for years are leaving because of this new management.

This place is the nastiest thing ever that I have paid to live in, roaches all up in the fridge, dishwasher and cupboards, do not move here if you like good living conditions and then they will screw you over by agreeing to wait for your last months payment and then you have an eviction order and then they will get their next victim to move in. FYI I’m giving 1 star only because I can’t give zero stars👎👎👎
