We have been coming here since late 2016. They have always done quality work. Our car broke down unexpectedly yesterday and Litchfield Auto did an amazing job. We dropped the car off around 4:00pm yesterday. They were ready and waiting for us when the tow truck arrived. We had a diagnosis by 8am and our car back by 11am. I highly recommend them.

They went above and beyond to correct an issue that I was having with my starter upon receiving my car back it was making another noise they promptly took my car back in and corrected a minor tightening issue they are very courteous and respectful and I appreciate them for all their services I will definitely be back as they made me feel very comfortable in a situation that many find difficult in the first place especially after dealing with poor mechanics who take advantage of situations thank you guys for all that you had done- Alexandra

Fantastic service. It was quick and professional with people trying to help instead of trying to sell me stuff. I got my front and rear brakes, oil change (engine and brake fluid) and air filter in about two hours at a fair price. Ill definitely come back!

Paid $60 for them to look at my car, all I got are OBD2 codes. They wanted me to pay another $250 to look into the codes? What’s next? How much more do I need to pay to get any repair estimates?I have my own OBD2 scanner, costed me less then $60.I will not go back.

My Camry is 16yrs old, I had given it to my daughter for her first car and 40k miles later it was needing more repairs than I would like to admit at 144k. Mark had it looked over and was brutally honest that the repairs would be more than the car is worth possibly. We discussed the used car market and that despite all the repairs needed the engine and cosmetics were in great shape. knowing how good the shop is, I had them do all the repairs that they had found in diagnosis. I was wanting the car done before driving it back to Pennsylvania within a few days of dropping it off. Not only the final price was within 20bucks, the owner of litchfield did the work since they were short handed, and the car drives better than when I got it at 40k miles. Not sure how they have customers at all. I walked in and was immediately treated rudely by the manager. They have a table outside (for covid Im sure) but no one was there. So I went inside and was told to get out because he was coming outside. OK. So I go out. Told manager my OD light was flashing. I just moved to the area but my dad is a mechanic (out of state) and he knows what the issue is. Couldnt get that far. Manager said itd be $60-$140 just to put it on the OBDII reader. He said they would need to keep the car. I said I didnt have a ride. He snapped, well we dont give rides. I never asked them to. Just snappy and rude for no reason. Lost my business. First impressions are everything.

Unbelievable service. I was in the middle of a busy day and ran something over while driving in this neighborhood. My car was making a terrible sound and I was afraid to drive on the highway. I called 2 others shops in the area and explained my problem, that it could potentially be a quick fix. Both refused to look at my car until the next morning. I pulled into Litchfield auto repair and was immediately helped. My car was back to me in 5 minutes, and they were serving multiple other customers at the same time. Best mechanic out there. Brought my truck in with a huge oil leak. The truck was making sounds on acceleration and just lacking performance. He was so friendly, took the time to explain everything to me answered all my questions & being a female its hard to get good, quality, reliable, trustworthy automobile work done & not feel like theyre blowing smoke up your rear or totally taking advantage of you. Phil new exactly what he was talking about & saved me from purchasing a lemon. He even guided me on a few cars that are great cars & good on gas. Quick oil change for c7 corvette. They Charged $115 for and oil change!!! I hate that the dealer takes a long time but dealer charges $69.99 for 7 quarts of synthetic oil. Will go back to dealer.

AMAZING mechanic shop. Hands down the most honest place I’ve ever been too. They will show and back their work up. This is not one of those cheap hack mechanic shops. You pay to get true work done. You’ll never find another place like this, I promise. Solid 10/10.

Have not had the service but am not impressed by the driving. Saw this SUV around Thunderbird and the 101. He first turns left even though there was a pedestrian in the crosswalk, then swerves into the other lane (it was a double left turn), then swerves back into his own lane. When I got closer I saw the driver was on the phone, and he continued to be on the phone for as long as he was within my sights.

These guys and gals are the best! Took our vehicle in for AC repair and we choose not to put the money into it because it is not worth it! Their price was very fair but we plan to upgrade so will let someone else fix it if they want. They did not charge us a dime! Don’t find that just anywhere! Honesty goes a long way. Would recommend them all day everyday!

Honest mechanics are a rarity. I asked for an honest opinion and diagnosis on my daughter’s car. That’s exactly what I got. No BS, no up selling, no pressure tactics.It turned out that the work that I had done (incorrectly) on the car was the root cause of the continued issues with the car. The tech identified the issue, told me what they would charge to repair it.I should have taken it to them at the beginning.I will take any car issues to them in the future.Highly recommend!

I couldnt be happier with Phil and the way he conducts his business. We had extensive work done on the car. After looking at the car he called with the details and said he would like to have me come in to look at the car up on the lift so he could explain everything in detail. Wow, no shop had ever done that! Phil quoted the price for all repairs but gave an option to do some now and some later if I preferred. We did it all at once, easier this way! I also inquired about tires from Phil and he gave me a smoking deal on them, installed them and had an alignment done as well. When the car was finished I was very pleased with the price as it came in under his quote for the repairs and the tires also came in considerably less. Again, that has never happened to me before! This is a cant miss shop in my opinion. Phil has earned a customer and I will spread the word to everyone regarding his business etiquette and quality of work. And yes, the car runs like new again!

Very sincere staff and clean shop. They fixed my 15 dodge Journey and replaced what needed to be replaced instead of what the dealer told me just to make a ton of money on me. My vehicle runs amazing and I only paid a fraction of the price that the dealer gave me. They also work on Diesels as well so bring your vehicle on down if it needs fixing. Excellent, professional, personable, and HONEST service. The cost of the needed repairs to my vehicle proved to be more than the vehicle was worth. Rather than drag it out and milk me for multiple repairs and the cost of multiple detailed inspections, which they easily could have done, Litchfield Auto Repair told me up front that the situation was beyond repair and financially prohibitive. They even DID NOT CHARGE for the inspection once they saw everything that was wrong. ALL of the other firms contacted insisted on charging for each inspection. Litchfield Auto Repair has won my future business for their HONESTY and INTEGRITY!!! Great place!!!

My cars a/c went out and my husband & I took it in yesterday. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome, and they were very up front regarding potential issues & costs. We ended up needing to repair the blower motor, but the mechanic informed me of my front tire separating. Had he not noticed it, I wouldnt have and it probably wouldve popped on me. I appreciated him telling us this because I drive a lot for work, and on my way home I pick up my son. His due diligence allowed me to take proper measures to be safe. This shop will continue to have my business and I will recommend them to all my friends & family.

These folks are good, honest, and NOT pushy. I will go on to say that they communicate well and offer reasonably distanced rides when theyre working on your vehicle. But ultimately they are good, honest and NOT pushy! Which is what any car owner wants from a mechanic!The only thing I dont like is that when you walk in there is no reception desk... Just a waiting room so when you walk in for the first time it is confusing until someone pokes their head out of an office to greet you.

The team at Litchfield Auto Repair has worked on 2 of our vehicles. They offer top notch service, pick up and drop off, a generous veterans discount, and the best labor rate price in the area. I really appreciate that they fix what needs fixing and only offer additional related to the specific repair (a new hose, or fluid drain and replace, etc). This gets the job done and helps keep the costs manageable. Finally, they also offer the best battery service that I am aware of anywhere... with a good price, they do the work, and lifetime replacement on AC Delco batteries.

I took my 81 Corvette in for some maintenance (tail lights didnt engage, windshield wipers didnt work, radio antenna didnt retract) and they fixed everything!!!! Also took my 2001 Corvette in for a battery drain problem upon picking up the 81, the reason for the drain was quickly diagnosed and fixed in one day!!!!! Phil and his crew are GREAT!!!! First: I never had service at this location. I was quoted a slightly cheaper price at a different location. I am strictly rating my customer service experience.The people that I spoke with over the phone were incredibly personable. They were friendly and handled my questions with care. They worked me in and took excellent care of me and have every time Ive returned for my oil changes. They usually require an appointment due to their excellent and honest care. My Jeep has been battling an nagging problem with the rear axle assembly for more than a year. The axle assembly had been rebuilt within the last couple years by another shop before I bought the Jeep. Its failed several times due to premature bearing wear with less than 12k miles driven since being rebuilt by the other shop. This past week the Litchfield Auto Repair team resolved the mystery responsible for the bearing failure.They determined the axle assembly had been bent and was causing the premature bearing wear. The previous shop didnt take the time to figure this out. Phil showed me the bearing wear and explained how the bent axle was responsible for the bearing failure. Litchfield even sent the axle housing out for testing to confirm their conclusion.After resolving the axle housing mystery they also installed new front and rear springs and adjustable lower control arms. My Jeep rides like new now!I choose Litchfield Auto to care for my vehicles because they are competent, transparent and committed to being fair and honest.The team is friendly and they stand behind their work.Thank you Litchfield Auto for all you do!

I knew my 10-year old Buick, with 145,000 miles, needed some work if I was going to keep it for another year rather than trade it in. I like the Buick, I like its trunk size, and I especially like that it consistently gets 30-32 mpg. I knew, at the very least, it needed new front struts. I took it into the shop on 4/23 and Phil gave it a very thorough check and called me with both the needed and suggested repairs. He did it all for little more than two of the chain stores quoted me for the struts alone -- and I had the car back the next day -- and he insisted on showing me the parts hed removed and what was wrong with them. I am so happy to have found Litchfield Auto Repair and will not be going anywhere else!

I took my 1975 F250 here to have my motor rebuilt, suspension done and a lot of other small things that needed attending to. Shop is extremely honest and always kept me in the loop on whats going on next and what to expect. The price may seem a little high. But youre paying for the quality of the repair being done right the first time rather then having it done cheaply two, three, four times. Pay to have it done right the first time. I cant say enough about how awesome the work and staff are here.

Im so glad I came to Litchfield Auto Repair. Everyone was super friendly and honest. Repairs that were absolutely necessary, according to the other guys, were not needed. I got my oil changed and got the 100k service. The price was reasonable and I instantly accrued reward points! I set an appointment for 1pm and had my car there at 11:30am but it didnt get looked at till 4pm and because of that they couldnt get the parts they needed to fix the car till the next day. These parts and labor was quoted to me at around 800 which I agreed to out of good faith. When I got home and looked over the receipt I was charged 180 for labor when told it was gonna be 100 in labor because it was only going to take an hour tops to install everything and the rest parts which I looked up and found out they charged me 260 over what I would of costed me to by them myself. They have super knowledgeable mechanics there that I truly believe are the best around at what they do but I was ripped off and took 3 days off work one of which was unpaid because it needed to be fixed. Thanks for fixing my car but thats it.

This business is clean, the people are very friendly and helpful. I was able to get in without notice and my vehicle was repaired in a timely manner. Theyre really good about explaining the services theyre providing and making sure you feel comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone needing service.

Phil repaired my Lincoln LS on time and at a much lower cost than I expected. I highly recommend him. Finally, an honest repair shop. As a former Naval Engineering office I am familiar with most types of machinery.

We have lived in the SW valley for 13 years, and have been looking for a good, fair mechanic for about as long. My search has ended. Phil is personable, knowledgeable, and runs a business like it should be run. A clean shop tells me a lot. I had brake issues, every time I stepped on the brakes it was brake and shake. I knew it was unsafe and did not want my teenagers driving it. Phil and his team got the job done on time and on budget. I love working with a Mom and Pop business.

My experience was not great at all. I had 2 different error codes prior to going in there. They told me that they only saw 1 error code fixed that, turned off my check engine light and less than 24 hours later the engine light was back on. Also, the customer service was terrible. Never coming here again. My problem wasn’t fixed and another problem appeared and somehow they could find it the first time. Also, they offer you a discount if you give them a good review. Disappointing!

Tamara and crew at Litchfield Auto are amazing. The first time I used them they called around to a bunch of different places to get quotes on the parts I needed replaced. Not sure if this is common or not but I was amazed that she spent the time to find me a good deal on parts. I dropped my car off in the morning and by the afternoon they had replaced the entire AC system and I was ready to go. Could not believe how fast they fixed it. Took my other car in a couple weeks and again I was back in my car same day for another great price. These guys are fast, smart, honest and affordable. I feel that I was taken advantage due to price in fixing the 3 leaks in the engine that was over 5g they quoted me on... I should of went back to Toyota dealership with the same paperwork I showed them the problem they found and had them do it...due to the fact that Toyota dealership would fixed the problem and more. They can leave a long review to keep all there reviews seeming like they are loyal but sadly as time went on I have come to find morepeople being taken advantage by this company. Im just glad Im leaving my experience about them through google. I will not return or refer people to them. Its sad what people/companies do to get as much money as possible. I will steer and warn military spouses to stay from this company.

Just had a FABULOUS experience here. I was in a real bind, needing the AC fixed immediately so I could drive my babies across the desert to see their grandparents. My spouse was out of town and so they gave me a ride from and to the shop. They busted their hump to get it done the same day. I felt like they were fair and honest. I called here because my usual place was too busy, but this will be my first call from now on. Thank you so much!

Honest. Much lower prices than competitors. No ridiculous diagnostic fee just to look at your car (Im looking at you Gateway Chevrolet). Phil did not try to sell me any other services other than those I needed or would benefit from. Knowledge base and experience made the difference in Phil being able to tease out exactly what was wrong with my car with a minimal cost.

Good and honest mechanic work. I went here after the dealer tried to charge me over $1000 for repair work and only got a $100 bill here instead. What a savings! However my car must have been haunted and I had to come here for additional repairs afterwards but they performed the repairs at what I felt was a fair price. I will update if anything changes but if you are in need of an honest shop, this is the place to try. They also have no diagnostics fee as of my last visit while others (especially the dealers) charge upwards of $100 just to look at your vehicle. We need more places like this.

Ive been to this shop on three occasions and had excellent experiences each time. They checked over everything and helped me prioritize what my budget could handle now and what could wait a little longer. I really appreciate their willingness to answer questions, their fair pricing and fabulous customer service! A definite recommendation to family/ friends!
