I have been a long time customer of Brakes Plus because of the GM Johnny Nguyen & Scott & Armando! My family has followed them from the Buckeye location to the Estrella location because we trust them and appreciate their attention to work/details/customer service! The Buckeye location has gone downhill since these 2 gentlemen are not there anymore! The quality and level of service is not the same in Buckeye! My entire family would rather take the drive to Estrella Parkway to have our vehicles worked on by Johnny & Scott and their great employees! This is the way to run a business! The others need to take note! These guys care about their customers and it shows!

When my car wouldnt start Armando came out to the parking lot to see if it was the battery. I had no idea I needed a new battery and he was able to replace it that day. It didnt take very long and Johnny talked to me about maintenance while Armando worked on my car. Both were highly professional, helpful and saved my day. I will take my car here for repairs and maintenance from now on.

This was probably the third time I took my car into this location. Last time they recommended work and I took it to the dealership since it was still under warranty. They did not hassle me to get it done they completely understood and agreed I should take it to save money. This time I took my car in last minute to get an alignment and oil change. Armando called and let me know the brakes did need to be done which I expected. I told him I would do it he said he get prices and call me back. I started looking up coupons. When he called me back he had found coupons for me to help lower the price. I was happy he did what he could to help lower the price. I asked about some thing else I thought I need and he assured me it wasn’t needed. I like that They do not try to do more work than is needed. I recommend this place! 10/10

I swear this place is amazing. Ive messed up my horn 2 time an had my oil change an my tires rotated. Ive had nothing but the best from these guys they talk an joke around like family. This location is the best. The Manager Johnny is the best and is the most caring, most professional. I had very bad experiences at the Buckeye location so I travel the extra 10 miles for the best service. They found EXACTLY what was wrong with my car and fixed it. The Buckeye location failed and management didnt care. Breaks Plus is a very good company, and the Estrella Parkway location in Goodyear, is the best.

This is the second time Ive had my 2018 Nissan Altima serviced here and they go above and beyond expectations - I will never take my vehicle anywhere else!! I bought a car in July, and days after I bought it the brakes started squeaking. Took it into the dealership and they said they couldn’t hear it, and said they checked them and they were fine.Fast forward to today... brakes are still very loud. My dad, who is also a patron of Brakes Plus and RAVES about them, told me to take it in. I am SO GLAD I DID! Long story short, my brakes weren’t fine. They fixed them and made them like new. Johnny explained everything to me about what had happened to them, and he explained it in a way that was very easy for me to understand. I’ve never had someone do that after they’ve worked on my car, and I was so appreciative! Everyone that helped me today was super friendly and professional. Their pricing is very reasonable! This review is so overdue at this point. I don’t write reviews but more people should have a place they can feel confident in and this is the place! I have lived in MANY places through the years (military) and this shop has been the absolute best, specifically Johnny, Armando, & Scott. I have had the pleasure of working with all 3 of them and everyone is courteous, honest, and reliable.I have had an unfortunate amount of troubles with my used car and they have helped me every time with fixing it and giving advice for the future so it doesn’t happen again. I had a great experience. I called, was seen the same day, and it did not take a long time at all. I originally came in for a diagnostic test and oil change. Johnny, the general manager , was very kind and explained to me what was going on with my vehicle. I will definitely be coming back here for further services in the future. You can’t beat the prices, kindness, or professionalism.

My car was on its last leg, I needed about $800 worth of work and couldnt get the $$ for two weeks, they repaired my brakes for my safety, I drive 180 miles to and from work. They got me the road until I could get them paid. These guys are great!!! I paid them what I could till I could get them the $$ they deserve. Customer service is outstanding

They got me in for a same day appointment for an alignment that my truck badly needed. Upon returning the Manager honored a discount promotion I had forgot to mention when dropping the truck off. They providedme with a print off showing the before and after results and everything was completed within a couple of hours from drop off. Highly recommend this location.

I have been coming here since this location has opened we bring our work vehicles in and the techs are always so friendly as well as having out vehicles done in a timely manner so we can get them back out on the road. The store manager Johnny and The other manager are always very friendly and explain the repairs if any are needed. They will not be do it if it doesn’t have to be done! I had my 2016 Toyota Tacoma serviced at this Brake Plus location multiple times and has not been disappointed with the the overall service provided and most importantly, the overall professionalism of everyone is great! All of the staff are friendly, always taking their time to explain every details of the problem and what is needed to correct it. Prices are very reasonable compared to the local auto shops and dealerships. The overall costumer service is next to none. I feel and believe that the superb customer service and the quality of work are due to the outstanding leadership and management of Johnny, General Manager. Great experience with the team here!Brought my 4runner in to have them check some weird feedback in the steering, they spent a whole day looking into the problem and then went over in detail with me everything they looked at and it all checked out. They helped me then find a tire shop where I could get my tires rebalanced in hopes of fixing the problem.All of this and they didnt charge me for anything. Would recommend them to anyone!

Estrella part brakes plus 10/10 amazing

Usually I do all my own work on my cars because its so hard to find a good honest shop. I ran into a problem with one of my vehicles that would take more time and tools than I had. I took it to Brakes Plus, hesitant at first because I hate looking for mechanics, but I do not regret a thing. Good prices, good service, and good work. If you have any problems with your vehicles I highly recommend this shop. I went to the one off Estrella Parkway in AZ and was helped by Johnny Nguyen.

I had 2 give these guys a shout-out 4 including SIX quarts of oil w/ their oil change specials! Which is exactly what my car uses, every other place I have taken it to still only includes up to 5 qts of oil & they end up charging me extra $ for that sixth quart plus my engine requires synthetic so of course its the most expensive oil but not these guys! Their prices cant be beat either, always friendly staff, you wont regret taking your vehicle here!!

It was my first time visiting and i went over to get my car alignment done. The staff were really professional in giving advice for my car and they were really hospitable as well. They offered water and made me feel nice n comfortable while waiting for my car. Would definitely go back again and i recommend this place to everyone.

Ive been multiple shops who give me the usual You need this plus 6 other things fixed today script. I dont get that here. I get an honest assessment of the work needed and what it cost to fix it. These guys have never let me down. Definitely recommend them.

My chevy traverse had an ABS light and a stabilatrak light on. Not certain what was going on i called Brakes Plus because I had service there some time ago to get my brakes done and I thought maybe it was somehow tied into the service? They told me to bring it right in and after taking a look at it Johnny was kind enough to break down what scanner was reading which had nothing to due with their previous service. Turns out it could be a small part that wasnt in shock but they could order it and get it in a couple of days. What really impressed me was that Johnny went into depth and now I have the option of buying the part online and saving myself some money. Johnny offered to do the work also but I was really impressed with all the info that was given to me. Hard to find honest shops that offer to save you some money. Thank you Armando and Johnny for your help and more so your honesty and integrity. I will be recommending your shop to anyone that needs help!

I had to get my emissions test. My check engine light was on. My tire pressure light was on. Armando Medina offered to check it out before he sent the car to a technician. He came back to say that when I had an oil change, no one reset the lights. There was no charge. Armando even did a quick check abd said I would easily pass the emissions test. My one day off this week is saved and I wont have to spend the day getting car repairs.All of my brake and oil changes will be at Brakes Plus.

Very friendly and great service! Came in for an oil change and some extra stuff and they did a great job. I’m not that knowledgeable on cars and they were very helpful and didn’t push me into getting extra things that I didn’t ask for. Would recommend!

Staff was awesome, very helpful and professional. I had some A/C issues on my car, they were able to let me know what needed to be done, and give me an accurate estimate of the cost. Got a call from them a few hours later with the exact cost and unfortunately some bad news that my fromt struts were going bad. Thankfully they also let me know they had a special going on that allowed me to buy 2 struts, get 2 free. Not a bad deal, so I decided to go for it. They got the work done and the job they did is amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service this morning. Johnny and his crew honored our early appointment and made sure our vehicle was in the bay for its oil change right away! We were informed on what our car needs and how Brakes Plus could help. The team also talked me through what specific products might work for our vehicle. There was an unfortunate technical error with their computer system and Johnny insisted this oil change was on the house so we didnt use up any more of our morning. With he computer errors and all the service took about 1 hour. Great work and excellent customer service.

Today I had a great experience at Brakes Plus on Estrella Parkway in Good year. My sedan had been vibrating and hard to stop for a while prior. When I got there I was greeted by Armando who was very kind courteous and knowledgeable about brake systems. My car was quickly brought in and diagnosed. They were honest and helpful telling me that my rotors had enough metal left to repair them. They also let me know that my bearings would eventually need to be changed and gave me a print out of the bearing system for my car. I highly recommend going to see Armando and Scott at the Brakes Plus Estrella Parkway location for your brake repair needs.

First off I have to start by saying that Armando is excellent! He made me very welcomed from the moment I walked in the door and worked with me to get the much needed work done to my Jeep. I had front and rear brake pads installed with a brake flush and resurfacing of the rotors. I am super happy with the quality of customer service and over all work that was done. I would highly recommend this location to any one that I know. Will definitely be bring all my vehicles here in the future!

My radiator cracked on my trip from L A. to Goodyear but luckily it happened when I arrived at my destination. Unluckily, it was Labor Day weekend and the shop was busy but they got me in Saturday and out Tuesday after the holiday. Easy process and no upsells!

Its always an awesome experience every time I come to this location. They carefully listen to you while you tell them whats going on with your vehicle then they diagnose it after. I went in for a brake job plus an alignment service. Upon inspection, they said I did not need new brakes so they just did the alignment service. Saved me $200+!! That is integrity. Great place with honest workers.

We took our vehicle in for a simple alignment. 1st alignment could not be done because some parts had to be replaced to get alignment done, So I work on my cars most the time replace the parts needed to be fixed or repaired and took back to get alignment redone. 2nd alignment Thetechnician who was going to realign had made a mistake and cross threaded a bolt for the alignment and told his manager that it was already messed before he Started working on it. Which was bogus because Im the only one that works on my vehicles. So I spoke to the manager Johnny Ngugen and he still said that we must have messed it up and again I explained that Im the only one that works on my cars, his tech must have done it and didnt admit to it. So the phone call didnt get anywhere. By the way this second part was around $20... So 3rd alignment attempt was finally successful. Im upset about the fact that they wouldnt own up to making a mistake and making it right. In this case customer wasnt right to them, so thats why this negative review is being posted, and for all you other customers be aware of these things going on with auto repair shops.. . They lost me as a customer...

I called Brakes Plus and spoke with Johnny as soon as they opened. I wanted to schedule an appointment to have my car looked at and he told me they had availability right then. I took my car over and the team was able to get my car fixed and running smoothly by the end of the day.Armando was especially helpful keeping me updated throughout the day and when I had issues with my debit card transaction he even drove me to the bank to pull out cash.These guys are seriously awesome and I will continue to have my car serviced here in the future! 10/10 recommend.

The staff was very friendly however I understood they were running behind which wasn’t a problem however the gentlemen checking me in didn’t ask what oil change package I wanted. Then my car was done alarmingly fast, normally I’d be okay with fast service but it was done almost too fast. Come to find out when I got home I noticed one side of my hood was raised up. I popped the hood to discover that my battery was not placed in all the way and the bolt that keeps it secure to the car wasn’t even tightened back on. This is the second time I’ve had a bad experience here. I wish they would have taken their time to make sure it was done correctly rather than rushing my car out. Will no longer be going to this location.

I was told at a different location that they wouldn’t be able to get me in for a few days and that my car was to low and might not be able to do it anyways. So I went to Goodyear and they were awesome. The person that checked me in was super cool. I appreciate him getting it all done for me on a walk in.
