I need a new capacitor plate and some gears replaced. They did a good job and gave me a 3 year warranty on the transmission. The great news they completed the work in 2 days. Extremely happy with the results.

I have dealt with this shop multiple times with multiple vehicles. They are honest, i used them as a 2nd opinion, they could have diagnosed my vehicle and charged me way more. Where do I start? If I could give this transmission shop 10 stars I would. The customer service is bar none the best Ive experienced. I had my transmission repaired here last year. After 10 months of driving it started to slip. Long story short I couldnt find my paperwork. But they remembered me. Needless to say they honored their word and kept their promise of fixing it for free without my paperwork. So Im going to keep my word and write an amazing review. Im just super grateful for super discount transmissions.

I was told that it would take a couple of days in labor to rebuild my manual transmission if I remove and deliver it. I dropped it off for an inspection and recomendation.. They said they will call in a couple days. They did not. I called a week later and they said they will talk to the mechanic and call back. They did not. I called 2 weeks later, the mechanic was not available so they will have to call back. I expect that nothing has been done and I will have to call back and cancel out of principal. I gave them 1 star for failing to communicate and wasting my time with false promises.

Had my old F100 transmission rebuilt for a fair price. Later had a leak and they quickly fixed it. They do honor their warranty!

Do not trust the positive reviews on this place, they are very suspect. This place is a total scam, I had my transmission repaired less than 2 years ago here and when It started acting up again I took it back and told me I didn’t have warranty so I dropped it off to be “diagnosed” and the owner told me it needed to be rebuilt again and it was going to be $1200, so decided to get a second opinion from aamco, when I went to pick it up the owner wasn’t there so one of the mechanics helped me out and when I told him which vehicle was mine he said “oh the one with the bad valve body” so I didn’t need a $1200 rebuild. Aamco diagnosed a bad valve body and charged me $400. This place knew the actual issue and tried to scam me. Don’t fall for it, take your vehicle to a professional shop with some credibility.

I took my Bronco to another shop, who said they could deal with my issue. After having my truck for two days they then called me to tell me they wouldn’t be working on my vehicle, with no explanation.So I called Super Discount and they said it wouldn’t be a problem and they would even tow my truck from the other shop and get it done. They went and picked up my truck from the other shop the same day. They quoted me a fair price and are currently working on my Bronco. They pulled the transmission and found the issue along with another critical issue (fairly quoted repair on the second issue). They did have to order some parts and we are now awaiting the parts to arrive.Thus far I am impressed with the communication that I have received from this business.**I will follow up with more information when I pick up my truck. But so far so good!**

The experience I had at the shop was beyond horrible due to the simple fact that I feel we were taken advantage of. Bottom line. Due to the simple fact that we were younger and flashy and also lacked knowledge about cars.Not only did he take a long time to repair the transmission but once we receive the car back the car began to run hot. That happened a day or two after getting it back. I would like to mention that the car was not running when he received it so I guess kudos to him on that part. But with the amount of money we paid and were willing to pay to get QUALITY THOROUGH WORK I am very disappointed and this along with a few other reasons i will list is why I am leaving this review.However, once we received the car back the second time we had issues with messages about coolant needing to be filled etc. When I attempted to contact them to make an appointment to ensure that everything was fixed the lack of communication was ridiculous. I came today Monday, March 15th to have him lift the hood of my car (as it appears it is stuck but did not want multiple people touching and working on the car) to check not only the coolant but ensure all the other work they did was in fact complete. He invited me to bring the car Monday morning, I attempted to call as I had ran late but go NO answer (called multiple times).When I did get there two men tried to open the hood (the same hood they had been working under but deemed it to be broken and said it wasnt their fault bc it was opening when they were working on it before...........ok) but could not and said they needed to get it in the air. I told him okay that is fine but I did not trust to leave the car with him any longer and will wait until he was able to service it (which he said should be a few hours). He did not attempt not even once to communicate or be professional to keep me updated on the progress as I had sat there waiting for about two to three hours!!!!!! Just for him to come out and give me a hand written receipt (late by the way had no intention giving it as he says they dont have a...FINISHED ON THEIR FACEBOOK REVIEWS PAGE. (Too long to fit in google)

A little pricey (100.00$) to install 2 u-joints on a driveline that is off of the truck and old u-joints already removed and I supplied the new u-joints. But nice guys and they got it done in just a few hours

They were very nice when they towed my car to the shop after getting it they told me it was going to be around $800 after having my car fo a whole month and arguing back and forth with Ahman who then began to be very rude..A 2002 Dodge Intrepid the price to get a suppose rebuilt trans the cost went up to $1800 dollars which the car isnt worth that much. Since they had already opened my trans it couldnt go to another shop of course I had no other choice than to pay him to get my car. Unbelievable a year later I still had the same issues with the car.Ahman says well the warranty was a year and wanted to charge me more money. I will never deal with those crooks again and definitely wouldnt refer anyone to them..Very disappointed with the entire service I received .After all of that Ahman ask for me to not give a bad review lol

It took too long and I was not able to use the warranty after I got a replacement transmission only after a month. They do not get it done when they say they would. Always saying its another two days. I spent 4 grand so far. Its not worth goin to.

Just want to say how awesome this place is. I took my Mercedes Benz to the dealer for repairs at Arrowhead where they only sell Mercedes Benz and they couldnt deal with 3rd party warranty company, after they said yes they work with 3rd party warranty company. I paid for the diagnostic and they took a whole month to tell me they dont want to deal the the warranty company. Luckily I found Super Discount Transmissions, Mike & Enron are the greatest. They took the time and effort with the 3rd party warranty and got my transmission repaired. Wow! The MB dealer couldnt do that, they gave up. I got my car back yesterday. After so many times of come back tomorrow or next two days or next whenever. My 2004 S40 Volvo did not get fixed. My car runs the same way it did when I brought it their. Check engine light still on, transmission still drags and hesitates; lots of thumping and lots noises. The same as before...super discount transmissions did not fix my car. A total RIP off and not honest business. This is a follow up to the review, which I posted three weeks ago from today, January 31, 2020. Since speaking to Imran face to face and venting my frustration to him, I am happy to say that he listened and promptly corrected my problem. My Volvo runs very well after getting it back from the shop. Thank you Super Discount Transmissions for correcting my issues and maintaining professionalism throughout the process.

Amazing place to get your transmission repaired, or replaced. They have very experienced techs, and they will work with you on your price range, and also offer financing options if needed. I needed my transmission repaired during the holiday and they were the only shop that took me in and said they would do the work immediately unlike other shops wanting me to wait 2-3weeks because of the holiday. Unlike the other shops this shop quickly offered complimentary towing if my vehicle was unable to move which it wasn’t so saved me on the tow bill. Staff is also knowledgeable for those who want to upgrade to performance parts while also trying to stay in your budget.

Two time customer. They just fixed my ford f250 super dutys transmission. Nothing but great service from the owner and the mechanics. I had gone to a Westside Transmission just a mile or so south from here and they told me it was not the tranny. Got it fixed since it clearly was the issue and no problems now. It tows like a champ. Dont waste ur time going anywhere else.

I was walking into a auto parts store and just about got ran over in the parking lot by one of there employees when I told the guy pedestrians have the right away in parking lots the guy starts trying to fight me telling me let’s go outside so I called the phone number on the truck to file a complaint . The truck he was in was a skydive buckeye company truck but when that company answered they were confused because there truck was in the transmission shop and they said this is the 3rd time this had happened where this shop has used there truck for personal use and caused them to get complaints against them. So I went to the transmission shop to talk to the manager and he said that guy does not even work for them so apparently they just let random people use customers vehicles. Then he back tracked and said he was just helping out for the day . Do not use this shop there customers are unprofessional and they will drive your vehicle for personal use while it’s in there possession .

I had my transmission repaired here. They said they replaced the transmission fluid and gasket. Little over one year latter the fluid is low burnt and leaking out of the gasket they said they replaced. Then they told me to bad so sad.

I can not say enough about this business it has taken me 7 years to find a great reputable honest transmission shop. I DO NOT KNOW how any one can rate this business under a 5 star they repaired my vehicle and had it up and running in only a couple days. They were also the most affordable by a long shot. They were so amazing I had them fix the clutch on my fathers truck and also fixed two of my coworkers vehicles! Everything from the price, turn around time, and the great customer service makes this my go to mechanic for life.

I took in my 2008 Honda Odyssey because the transmission just didn’t feel right. Al was great at communicating, they were quick to let me know the problem and gave me multiple solutions to fit my budget.I went with a used transmission, since my budget was quite small. They got my car back to me much faster than other shops that had done less work.I know I got a great deal and that the work was quality! I felt piece of mind knowing that they are ASE certified and masters in their field.My car shifts perfectly and I would recommend this shop to everyone from strangers to my grandma.

They dont play around they dont give you these dance story. they will tell you straight up what wrong with you vehicle and give you the price and they dont give you a call after you leave and give you another price.When you get your vehicle and its fixed and not this thing you come back later cause you might have same issues or similar.I recommend them to everyone.

They know what they are doing. Both shops. Goodyear and east Phoenix. I go to both! You can get a used transmission and even get help getting a loan. Then they warranty their work at least a year for my first transmission I believe in my VW Passat years ago. 🤗

Non stop excuses, 2 failed attempts to rebuild transmission (so far), vehicle has been in their shop for over 8 weeks, my vehicle was involved in a wreck during one of their attempted transmission repairs.Update: 10 weeks in their garage and another failed transmission overhaul. This time the vehicle did not even make it out of their parking lot. More excuses.

I had no idea what was wrong with my car, and no idea where to take it. A friend said she used this place so I had the car towed there. He did the diagnostic, gave me an estimate (reasonable) and about 3 hrs later it was done. Very friendly. Car runs great. It was a great experience. I woud highly recommend them.

Alright so iv already posted about how awesome these guys are and couldn’t figure out how to leave an additional review. I just wanna say that once again they have amazed me with how amazing the customer service here is. Every time I call the I believe manager (I can’t remember how to spell your name sorry) who is usually the one answering the phone knows exactly what’s going on with my car and has an update. They even have paid for an Uber for me when I have dropped my car off and didn’t have a ride multiple times now which is awesome. So far no one else iv ever gone to has done that for me. He went above and beyond for me and went out of his way to help with the cost and making sure I was properly taken care of. This place is awesome. I would highly recommend anyone to go here. I had my transmission on my car go out a couple of weeks ago. And not having anything on hand to pay for the cost. They went above and beyond helping me out in figuring a way that best fits my budget as a single mother. They even offered me to get transportation to work and home, but I was blessed during that time by a co-worker to help me out. And it turned out even cheaper the estimated price. God sent to me to the right location knowing what was my current status.

I wanna give my sincere appreciation to emran for helping me with my transmission and getting me back on the road. These guys are good and very helpful!!

This had been the second time I took my vehicle to them. They make you sign an open invoice and thats where problems can begin. This time I had been called in and given the great solution of payment options, (a mixture of cash, visa debit, paypal and financing) but when I asked about my transmission I was told by two different front office people, in two different offices, that the mechanic stated the transmission was in one of the worst conditions he had seen. Its suspect that their comment was essentially the same. I had driven my vehicle there with what I suspected as a shift solenoid issue. When I pressed to see my transmission, a totally different transmission was provided for my viewing and I expressed my doubts that it was the correct one. I was then told that it had been shipped out on a pallet with other transmissions. The cost for the junky looking, but working, transmission was $1400+. Shortly afterward I started having problems with the vehicle powering off and found that the ground cable to the battery had not been tightened, I also checked the ground connection at the starter and discovered a totally different starter than the Autozone one I had recently replaced and one of the starters solenoid connection posts was loosely attatched, afterward I developed a battery charging issue. Some have had good experiences, I have not.

This place is more of productivity. Trying fixing the transmission issues taking shortcuts. Always delaying saying when its done.

If possible I would give them no stars at all!! I took my 2002 Dodge Dakota for transmission repair. They said the repair would cost between $1100 and $1900 for a transmission rebuild. Later they called and said the cost would be $2200 because my mechanic had installed the wrong clutch. They said it would cost $1900 to rebuild my transmission. I checked with my mechanic and 2 other mechanics at different shops and determined the correct clutch had been installed. I then told the shop I wanted the transmission put back into my vehicle and I would come and get it. They said the vehicle could not be driven because 2nd and 3rd gear where completely out. I found this had to believe since I drove the vehicle there using all 5 gears. I then told them to put the transmission in the bed of my truck and I would send a tow truck. I also went to the shop to pay their $375 bill. When I arrived they showed me my clutch and continued to claim it was the wrong clutch. They also said the rebuild of my transmission would cost $2900 but they would save me $1000 by putting a used transmission into my vehicle.When my vehicle arrived at the new shop, they found a completely disassembled transmission in the bed of my truck. Super Discount also put my clutch in the box under transmission parts causing transmission oil to get onto the 1 month old clutch, resulting in the clutch having to be replaced. When the new clutch was to be installed into the new transmission it was discovered Super Discount had kept my clutch cover bolts. They did find the bolts and said they would be delivered to my mechanic within the hour; however, they did not deliver the bolts until 5 hours later. This caused another day delay in the finalization of my vehicle repairs.This was the worst vehicle repair experience. They told me many things I found to be untrue after conducting my own research and consulting other master mechanics. Do not trust them with your transmissions!

Very unhappy with this company. If I could give them zero stars I would. Having to take them to court to recover the damage to my classic vehicle. Have not been able to use my vehicle since they worked on it. They had it for 15 days. I have several photos I will post on YouTube. Not only is the transmission work horrible. The incorrect assembly of the Exhaust System resulted in Carbon Monoxide getting into the truck interior. Very deceptive people in my opinion. The owners are from New York. I did find one honest employee that told me the inside story of what happened with my vehicle , plus the owners course of conduct in this business. I would predict this company is not around much longer. They use several different names in doing business. Be very careful. Shop around. Believe the negative reviews of this company.

If I could give this place no stars I would. My husband dropped off a vehicle Saturday morning for diagnostic test and was told they were not able to get to it and will be looked at Sunday morning. Here it is Sunday afternoon. NO call from anyone. My husband decided to go over there and was there 20 minutes to closing and the doors were locked!!! Very bad business. My husband is not able to go to work tomorrow this vehicle we left for them to look at is his transportation. I hope the owner has a very good excuse for his poor communication!!!

The owner/manager of this place is a thief and a rip-off artist. Suckered me with a mostly reasonable estimate then rant the bill almost twice his estimate. Then when I complain about my bill and his thieving he wants me off property. When I tried to bring my truck back to get him to fix the same issues, he threatened to call cops. Yeah, great guy my rear-end.

These guys are honest. I brought in my 92 Honda civic for an evaluation because it needs other work which I am not willing to invest in if the transmission is giving out. They pointed out that the engine mounts are bad, which I already knew. The diagnostic is free and the service is pretty great.

I have a 93 white Ford Ranger that I dropped off to get my tranny done. When my truck broke down, I started to disassemble things myself only to realize there were 4 bolts that I couldnt remove so I decided to call Super Discount Transmission (SDT) as they were highly recommended by google.They were friendly, they even sent a tow to pick up my truck free of charge if I got the work done there. (otherwise I think it was like 50-75 dollars if you just have them diagnose it or something like that with no work)My repair took about one months time, and let me tell you, I would not have it any other way because they truly delivered a good quality service. Check this out...My transmission gears were shot, (which I was expecting anyways as Im fairly mechanical myself) Thereby my truck needed a new transmission. First they quoted me about $1200 dollars for a new one which is reasonable for a transmission....but when I only paid $700 for the entire truck, its hard for me to justify that big of an expense. I told them my concerns, and because they were willing to listen to my concerns and needs, they came back with a very reasonable price of 747 for a used transmission with decent miles on it...Sold. That’s a very good price.Well the first used transmission they got from their vendor had a crack in it at no fault of SDT’s. Therefore they sent it back to get another one. They installed the second one, the transmission wouldnt go into gears 3 and 4 and they said they didn’t feel comfortable releasing my truck under those conditions So they took the transmission back off and send it back to their vendor.They got another one and installed that one!!! :) I am now driving happy and my transmission shifts like butter. Now here’s the real kicker, because they are very dedicated to quality, they would like me to also come back just to check and make sure everything is looking good. What kind of a mechanic shop would do that? These guys are very dedicated to quality. If you want a good quality job done, and done right, go to super discount transmissions.I am sure there are other transmission shops out there that would not take that much labor, and dedication to to quality with putting in a used transmission. I’m willing to bet some transmission shops would say too bad, it’s a used transmission, deal with it. But not these guys. They want to earn your business and they definitely have with me. Remember folks, good quality work can take time. I’m sure if I would’ve had bought the $1200 transmission, I probably would’ve got my truck back within two days.But they were willing to listen to me, find me something that suited my needs and what I would like, and they took the time to deliver a quality products. definitely, definitely satisfied.

DONT GO HERE THEY LIE AND RIP YOU OFF! I took my f350 there for a drive train problem. they told me they knew exactly what the problem was so i trusted them because they said they had ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified techs. After 700 dollars later they said they fixed my issue and told me they test drove it and every thing was good. When I was driving home I noticed the same problem was occurring. Clearly these technician have no idea what they were doing. Bunch of idiots. Im going back tomorrow and getting my money back for a job they didnt even fix.

They did a good job fixing the transmission for my Dodge Ram 1500. It was a square deal all around. It works better than ever.Thank you, for taking care of that leaky front seal. I know it was not an easy fix.Clint

Imran and the boys came through big time! My California truck was stuck in Arizona with major tranny issues. Imran was fair and upfront with pricing. Took my 2004 Escalade in because it would not go faster than 20 mph. They told me I need a new transmission. So $2000 later and a new transmission I’m out the door truck runs good for little over three weeks And then Bam Escalade won’t go faster than 20 miles an hour again. I take it back and say somethings wrong with the transmission.They call me not even an hour later and say transmission is fine, your Throttlebody is bad. We could swap it out put a new one in for $700. So I’m thinking I never needed a new transmission in the first place all I need was a $200 throttlebody. Picked one up at AutoZone for $200 and put it in myself and now I’ve had no issues. Only reason why iam posting this is, you need to always get a second opinion and I totally feel like this place took avantage of me and sold me a transmission that I didn’t even need.

NO STARS. Get this... My tranny was rebuilt TWICE by these clowns in one year. But tranny blew out a THIRD time with 10 days left on the warranty, But over 2k miles.Emron Said he would do it, but was a being really rude.We got into it. He still accepts my vehicle. But yet we get into it again. This control maniac (over the phone) Says to me i need to verbally say im going to change my attitude. That NEVER happened. So he threatens to impounded my car within 2 hours if i dont pick it up. He never fixes my car.My transmission is destroyed a year later. after having it racked 4xs. My tranny broke down Every 4 months within a year.The Arrogance and Douchery that spews from the ownership is disgusting. My experience told a story of incompetence when it comes to Transmission’s and Relationships. I hope your experience was or will be better.

I’ve taken a vehicle here and they were transparent about what needed to be done and how how much they’d charge for parts. i’d def bring it back to them again if it needs work.

Wish i could rate them zero. Went to them because they offered free diagnostic, which i needed because i cant afford to much. When i finally went to pick up my car after it spending almost the whole day there they said it would be a $1200 fix. They never said what the problem was and when we asked they said the guy who worked on it has left for the day so they dont know , oh yeah because nobody writes anything down anymore, just got mad because i was not going to spend my money there escpecially when they did not want to give us any info. They are very shady company and are only out for your money. Do not go here. Look up other locations and reviews , everyone gets ripped off.
