I called American Auto Recycling to see if they had a gearbox for my silverado before arriving & they did. J.R was cool enough to set it aside for me. 2 hours later I stop by to purchase and sure enough they had it ready to go! Upon arrival you can tell all the men & women working there are busy since its a auto parts type of environment, so if you want to be helped out speaking up with a firm voice is how youll get assistance quicker than usual. The part I bought was obviously used. It came with 1 year warranty and Advanced Auto parts and Autozone wanted more than 3X the amount for a remanufactured one. I went with American and now my Chevy is back on the road! Thanks AAR you all saved my wallets health and my truck🤙

Friendly staff. They were very concerned about the part I was picking up. Wanted to make sure it was up to my standards. Supper nice. They must have a great inventory system. They walked me out to where my part was at. Great place!

Prices are ridiculous for a Ford Fusion trunk I was told the price was 550, I asked if that was used or new because the price was extremely high. Used trunk for the price of 550. I was able to find the exact same one for 50 dollars someone else. I recommend you take your business someone else!

Very professional well organized and was able to get me exactly what I needed. This is definitely an option for the do it yourself person wanting to save a little money. Needed a new alternator and the Auto parts stores wanted $500 and was able to get one here for $50. All around great experience!

Spoke to Joe about a Power Steering pump. He gave me a price and I tried to order it. After ordering he calls back and says there is a core fee and upped the price on me. So I tried ordering it and then 2 days later he lies to me and says its no longer available. Sold to a local shop. Funny because its now relisted for twice the price and they have a few available. I called him out on it and he hangs up on me. Low life LYING scum working here. Ive been in the used auto parts industry for 30 years and this is not cool. HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING BUSINESS HERE WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS!!!!

EXTREMELY RUDE. Rude on the phone twice, canceled the Order because of it. Parts may possibly be good, but the parts aren’t worth it when you have to deal with a totally disrespectful attitude and treatment just when you’re trying to order them.

These guys are Awesome. I bought an engine from Joe for my 2014 Taurus and it was exactly as he described. Very clean and after we installed it, it fired right up first turn of the key. I highly recommend American Auto Recycling and will definitely use them again!

One of the premier yard in Arizona. The service is prompt and excellent. All parts are clean, checked and ready to install. I am very happy, with my recent purchase. I purchased a Dodge 4.7 engine, that was shipped out of state. The engine, ended up up having a different crank/cam tone wheel. Once i got a hold of American auto about the situation, Steve was prompt with a solution.

They had the part I needed, now lets see if it works.

Takes 5 days+ to check a part. Waste my time. Dealt with Joe. The guy doesn’t check his voicemail. Says he will call you back in 10 minutes and you dont hear from him multiple times daily. Get your sh*t together guys.

I had to wait in the lobby for 25 minutes for salesman to come and show me my parts it the end they couldnt locate one of my part and I drove 45 minutes to go there not happy at all

Customer service was friendly and professional, the warehouse was very organized and clean. I purchased a transmission for my truck, they had the lowest price and the part was clean and in great condition.On the downside, I was not informed that there was a $50 core on the transmission, so I had to return the old part to get my $50 back.Overall great experience and I will return again in the future

Not awesome. Bought an evaporator for my jeep for $80. It had leaks, I had it tested only to find out it was bad. I was able to buy a NEW one for 75$ from the same shop that tested. So... I wanted to return the bad one. They wouldnt take it back. Said it was not theirs.. Said they spray paint all of their parts before they leave the yard. I picked up the part, nothing was spray painted. They said they could not determine it was their part and they couldnt do anything for me. Buyer Beware.

Werent very helpful at all. I called and they told me they didnt have the part and that was that. I mean, at least humor me. I had other junk yards referring me to other junk yards when they dont have it. I understand there isnt much for them to do about not having it. But they could have addressed it differently.

I called this place looking for a relay for the DRL. After explaining what i needed the salesman put me on hold quickly without notice. I then asked about the part and the guy said he doesnt know anything about that rather then checking and put me on hold again without notice. I asked about the part and he said the car had already been stripped and they dont have relays. Now this part is worth $150+ new. Before i could explain this he hung up on me. Worst customer service i have ever received.

Needed a rear hatch glass for 2004 Suburban. They had one in stock and it came with the linkage. They were close and it was a good experience. Will use them again in the future for auto parts!

Joe has always been great with everything we need.

I needed a water pump for my 2001 Honda Civic LX as mine started to leak and they gave me one with less than 60,000 miles on it and it has been working for months now with no issues.I like the fact that 1) they are really responsive 2) they warranty the parts for 12 months and 3) you dont have to pick up the parts, they do it for you.Also some mechanics can do some side jobs to install your parts after hours if you need it, what else do you want?Ill go back again if I am in need for parts for my car.

Not avia the option of being stars. They have a very bad attitude after you return some parts to them until it seems that they write your name so as not to sell you again. Also in alma impors they do the same. It is extremely unpleasant that they do that. If the company does not support this policy hopefully and do something about it
