This is my first time using Majors Classic Car for my 1966 mustang. We had a fairly long list of repairs and updates to do from the engine bay, clutch, and rear end. The process was straight forward once we reviewed and agreed on what to have done. Some minor delays in getting started but nothing that would be a deal breaker. A nice thing to know is they do not leave your vehicle outside for long periods of time which is important here in the desert. Since I just picked the car up, Ill take a few weeks (a bit too hot outside to drive) and post a follow-up as to the work and overall quality. Im going with 5 stars to start as the overall experience was good so far. UPDATE: 8/27/2021 After initial review their were a few things that needed to be corrected but overall it doesnt lower my rating, they corrected the problem. Dont stray too far from what you agreed upon for work though, the hourly rate can add up.

Look no further to find the best possible shop to service your classic car! In my 40+ years of driving, I have never encountered a shop like Majors. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is over the top professional, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They took my 65 Shelby Cobra in, and within a week, it was purring like a tiger. The owner (Rick) have me a tour of his shop, and let me tell you, you can eat off the floors there, it’s so clean. They kept me updated on the repairs as they went along so I knew exactly what was going on at all times. The work was top of the line in terms of quality. I will never take my classic cars anywhere else. Well done, Majors!

Took the mustang here for some electrical bugs. Major had it all figured out in no time, very satisfied with the service and the price of the job was more than fair. Ill be back if I need more work!If you want it done right, you gotta go see Major.

Ive been doing business with Majors for over two years and they have restored or repaired four classic cars that I own. They have always provided great service at a reasonable price. They are have always been up front with me, kept me informed about the progress of the restoration, and have given me options to address the work I need done. In addition, they listen to what I want to have done and dont try to persuade me to do something that they would do on their cars. Ryan is a meticulous mechanic and I always felt that he treated my cars like they were his own. Its hard to find a quality shop with people you can trust to care for your car and give you reliable service and a fair price. I will be going back to Majors for years to come.

It has taken me several years to finally find a shop I trust with my family heirloom ‘74 Bronco. So far, I have a great deal of confidence in the Major’s team and am excited to see the results! I also had Major’s do some suspension work on my ‘71 Vette - so far, so good! Work was efficiently handled and the car rides much better now. They identified some critical rust areas, which were repaired, saving me from a potentially hazardous situation.

If you don’t want to live your worst nightmare, do not even get closed to this shop. Ive never seen a shop so incompetent and so dishonest. These clowns completely destroyed my engine beyond repair and took no responsibility for it. I brought my beautiful and spectacular 66 Belvedere to put new gaskets and to put a new oil pump and a new oil pan. Before I took the car, it was running great, strong with 140 compression in all cylinders and I had driven it everywhere and had it for quite some time. First I spent $2500 on that job + parts (which anyone else would’ve charged me a fraction of that). Then, as soon as I drove my car out of their shop (literally 2 minutes driving), the car starts smelling like oil and then my engine throws a rod. The engine was destroyed beyond repair and it was the original engine with matching numbers. First, they took no responsibility for it and made all kinds of ridiculous excuses of why the engine could’ve done that, none having to do with the work they just did. Then they got their 20 years long friend at the machine shop to back them up. But the proof is in the pudding and as everyone can see in the picture the bearings were starving for oil. I spoke to 8 different mechanics (including an independent machine shop) and they all concluded that the only way this could’ve happened is because the shop really messed up. But Rick Brennan (the owner) still says that this would’ve happened anyway and it was just a big coincidence that it happened right outside their shop. But really? If they had done a good job, the engine would actually be less likely to fail since it has a new oil pump and new fresh oil, considering that the engine was running really well before I took it. Now I have to spend over $4000 in a new engine and another $2500 to install it and I don’t even want to think about the loss of value in thousands for no longer having the original engine. So these clowns made me lose tens of thousands and caused me to live the worst nightmare. They won’t even let me get my money back even after I disputed it with my bank. And on top of that, my car has been out of commission for months. I will say that if I bought a new engine, that they would install it at partial cost or no cost, but would you trust them?. They could screw up the second engine after I spend an additional $4000+, and then what. Anyway, I’m just trying to protect any other poor soul that might want to think about taking their baby there. These folks should not even be in business. Oh! and I almost forgot, they charged my card the day before the car was supposed to be ready and before I had a chance to see the work they did or test my car, with the excuse that they needed the money to “pay for the rent”. A real shame!

We had our newly purchased 68 RS Camaro serviced by Majors Classic Cars. We bought the car off of ebay and prior to shipping, attempted to have it inspected to determine its safety for driving. The first mechanic shop did not want to touch it related to inexperience with this year of vehicle. Second shop did a cursory inspection and said it was at a minimum, street worthy. Once here in Arizona, we took it to a local corner mechanic shop who changed the oil, and looked into the braking system, leaving us with a list of parts to order. Feeling the need to find a specialized place for this car, we googled classic car shops and called one nearby. The mechanic/owner provided an estimate over the phone without seeing the car and did not follow-up with promised emails with more details. Then, we couldnt reach them on the phone. We next tried Majors. My husband spoke with the owner, Rick, and immediately felt at ease. He appreciated the approach Rick suggested we take in fixing the car to make it safe to drive, and spend our money wisely. Our car was in the shop for about 10 days. We received regular updates with what was discovered and suggested fixes. At the time of pick up, Rick reviewed a very detailed report of what was done, and where he saved us money, knowing our budget. The car runs much smoother now, and the breaks work much better! The car was filled with gas and washed too! We will definitely return to Majors for the rest of the work needed on this car. Rick is very understanding of the need to stay within a budget and we appreciate that. He has a vast knowledge of muscle cars and how not only they should run, but feel as well.

Majors did a great job for me. I have a 1951 Chevy Belair I was trying to get ready for a car show. A week before the show I had an issue with the brakes on the car and I was out of time to work on her. I found Majors online and took the car there to check out the shop. The shop is very clean and stocked with top notch mechanics. They were able to get all the work done, to factory spec as this is an all original car, in time for me to get to the show. They did a very good job with my car and my safety was their number one priority. I am greatful for the work they did and would highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs a classic repaired or restored. Thank you.
