ACE is amazing! They were able to schedule us in at 9:30, and were done by 11am. They’re always so courteous and professional. I have never felt like they’re out to just “get my money” as some mechanics can be.We just moved from out of state and this place was recommended. It was the best recommendation and I will never take my car anywhere else!

This place came highly recommended to me. I posted an inquiry for a reliable and honest mechanic that works on Audi’s in Gilbert region and SO many people recommended this place, the consensus was overwhelming. Shawn (owner - sorry if I spelled wrong) and Ray were amazing to work with, customer service you can’t find anymore. They said it would only take 2 days to fix (water pump and battery) and followed through. Best of all, they saved us $800 compared to what the dealership wanted for the same job. Very happy ! Will return for all future mechanic needs.

4 stars…Pros:Excellent customer service! The guys at the front desk were quick to assist me. I walked in with a wheel that had a damaged tire and a brand new tire to replace it. I had the damaged tire taken off and the brand new tire installed.Cons:it wasn’t until after I got home to install the wheel on my car that I noticed chips on the inside of the wheel, very small pieces of the inside of the wheel wall were damaged. There are 4 markings (chips) on the inside each perfectly spaced 90 degrees from each other (ie. From the machine that grips the wheel when the tire is removed).I’m not too upset about it, but I won’t be going back.

Once again ace didn’t disappoint!!! I got an alignment on my car and it was done within an hour ! I don’t think I could ever take my cars anywhere else ! Ray is always so helpful and friendly and prices are always reasonable ! I took my daughters car in when I picked mine up because it had a slow leak and found out there were 2 giant nails in it ! The fix was free due to rewards points I had earned !!! ❤️ Job well done as always !!! Thanks for taking such great care of us !!!

Brought in my 2013 Buick LaCrosse and Ace came in with a much better price than my dealership, plus they even found some things the dealership hadn’t. Wow...I always went to Audi for my A3, but their recent quote after my 55k service was insane. I was looking for a decent and honest mechanic and after some research found Ace Performance Automotive. Making an appointment was easy and Ray was super nice. After my car was checked, Ray called me back and told me what they found.He did not try to pressure me into anything, which I totally loved. Actually, they added some dye to evaluate in a couple of weeks if my leak is even still current since I never had any leakage in my garage. The biggest shock was that they didn’t even charge me anything for the inspection!!! I am very satisfied with their service and will definitely be back.

If you are searching for a honest, reasonable and very respectful Auto repair shop, look no further. I, as a young woman, often times have a hard time going into auto shops because I often feel like I get cheated or upsold on services I don’t need. I was pleasantly surprised that Sean and his crew were not the case. They treated me like I was their own daughter; they had great communication, had my car done in a timely manner and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the repairs in ENGLISH! I walked out knowing exactly what was done to my car and why. This place is fantastic, look no further.

I went here yesterday to get my 10 year old car checked out. I knew it needed the motor mounts fixed and they were able to order the parts needed and finish the work by noon today. After they did the check up they e-mailed me an itemized list of detailing what they checked. It had green, yellow, and red check marks clearly showing me what was in great condition, what they were going to keep an eye on at my next oil change, and what they recommended fixed soon. They included pictures of anything that they wanted to keep an eye on or that needed to be repaired soon. I had told them that my husband can fix some of the things and they didn’t once try to upswell me on anything he could fix. The person helping me did his own car work on his car so he was completely respectful and talked with my husband about different work they’d done. Usually I find that mechanics try to make it sound harder to do or convince me to have them fix it when my husband knows how to fix certain things very well. This place was recommended to me as being, “female friendly” and it was completely that. When I mentioned what I had heard from people who had recommended them I could tell that customer feedback was important to them. I will definitely be back and I’m so happy I found a mechanic that I love that is locally owned. I’m proud to support them!

Midas was trying to charge me $1600 for a fuel pump and Ace Performance found nothing wrong. They fixed everything for under $200. Very honest and nice. Would definitely recommend.

They charged me $400 to plug in there analyzer and put a new battery in my car. Which I could’ve done. They thought this fixed the issue of not shifting, but that didn’t fix. They refuse to give me my car back and demanded me to pay for my car which had the same issue I brought it in with. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Save yourself a headache and avoid these uneducated people from taking your money.Followup: Sorry owner, I have verified this is the correct shop and I have receipts from Ace, so thinking I left this for the wrong shop is a pretty bad excuse.

These guys worked really hard to figure out what was wrong with my Jeep. I took it to the dealership and also a mechanic that is a friend of mine and replaced several things, but none of the things I fixed solved the problem with my Jeep. I was tired of spending money replacing things that didn’t fix my stalling issue. Many tests were done and they finally figured out what was wrong with my Jeep after others couldn’t figure it out. They were fair, determined, communicative and solved my issue. I highly recommend Ace.

I brought my jeep in that has been experiencing the death wobble. I upgraded some components myself and took it to ACE for the wheel alignment. I picked it up today and the drive home was solid. I was given some knowledge of what they think could be the problem which is great because so far I been at a loss with all of the wobble problems.

We have a 2017 Toyota Tundra that had a control arm shatter out of nowhere. I posted on a Facebook group asking for advise and the number of people who recommended Ace was pretty outstanding. The owner actually reached out to me on the weekend even though the shop was closed to make sure I was taken care of and answered all my questions. Was able to get it towed to the shop on a Monday (which was a holiday) and it was available for pickup by Thursday. It was all straight forward, no hassle, no sales, just fixed what we needed and a few extra parts. When picking up the truck the two gentlemen in the shop were awesome at explaining everything and even made us aware of issues we should take up with the dealer (still under warranty) to get taken care of. Every phone call, text, and in person communication was great. We will honestly be back when we need some other things done and even just an overall upkeep. Thank you guys! Much appreciated and we are happy to have our big blue beauty back on the road again!

I had a great experience with Ace Performance Automotive. When the water pump went out on my Volkswagen, my usual shop did not have a tech that felt comfortable doing such an involved repair on a VW, and I found APA when looking for a shop that could work on European vehicles. They didn’t hesitate to take on the repair, were able to source OEM parts, and worked seamlessly with my warranty company. My car has been running great since getting it back. Ray was very helpful the whole way through and was always happy to answer the many questions I called him with, and never tried to upsell me on anything. I’ll definitely be a return customer.

Only thing they found was a few minor leaks too include the oil filter housing. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Ace Performance! After working with the owner Sean and his staff for a couple of weeks on completing my vehicle I was completely satisfied. They kept me informed through the entirety of the process (which was more difficult then it had to be due to Covid and shipping delays that had nothing to do with Ace). They completely upgraded my car exactly the way I envisioned it! Ace Performance Automotive is top notch and I will only be taking my car to Ace from here on out!

Ive had issues with this business that, while not exactly devastating, have been far from stellar so far. We brought in one of our vehicles for an oxygen sensor error code three different times.The first time was to replace a catalytic converter...and a week later the check engine light came on.The second time was to have the firmware in the onboard computer updated because, apparently, that was also needed...and a week or so later we had the check engine light come on again.The third time was just to find out that the firmware update was either the wrong one, not the most recent one, or that something is just not working the way it should...so Id have to wait for APA to call me back for a time I could get this corrected. A week went by and I had to call them to ask what the hell the deal was. I was then informed that they would need our vehicle overnight so the onboard computer issue (whatever it may be) could be corrected by the dealership and have our airbag system replaced as there was a recall for that.Did I say three times? The fourth time was to actually drop off the vehicle for the previously mentioned issues, with the idea theyd have someone available to drive me home, as they now had our primary vehicle. I still had to wait 30+ minutes, due to some staffing issues.Im wondering how the fifth time will be. Current track record seems to indicate well have a Check Engine light in our near future, but time will tell. Ill still continue to be a customer, for now, but my expectations are wavering between Thats plausible, I guess. and low.Update 1: In the meantime, I was informed that the catalytic converter they purchased was defective in some fashion and a genuine GM replacement was needed. The part in question is more expensive, they said, but I was informed the cost difference would not be passed onto me yet...wed still have to wait another day for us to get our vehicle back. This provided a reason for me to walk 6 miles, so I could make it to my dental appointment and back.Update 2: After speaking with an employee, the situation has changed somewhat. Apparently, the original catalytic converter APA purchased was defective and the retailer knew about it but didnt say anything when they sold it. The firmware that the dealership swore up-and-down was incorrect (and that the guy who input it in shouldnt have access to) WAS correct but required a specific GM-brand part number, which APA now has. Also, the dealership fried the airbag module that was part of the recall, so we have to wait an additional day to get our vehicle back.It sounds like APA has been at the mercy of one of their parts suppliers and the dealership, and were forced to pass this SNAFU onto us. So...yay... In theory we will get our vehicle back THREE days after we dropped it off. Then again, the next day was followed up by the same response two more times...Final update: over a month has passed since this whole fiasco and the vehicle has continued to function without the check engine light coming on. So, as I said to the owner directly, since time has passed without any further issues, I am bumping this back up to 4-stars. I CANT give it five, due to all the aggravation and frustration we experienced, but they did right by us...eventually.

Made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. I usually have tires rotated at every oil change ~6k miles. Craig (?) went out to get car info and came back inside. He told me I didnt need rotation and tires looked good and felt good. He told me how to run your hand along the inside of each tire, front to back then back to front. If you have some friction back to front, youre OK. Told me they can wait until next oil change. You cant put a price on honesty. I will skip Walmart going forward and have all maintenence done by APA.

Not good got ripped off.Had 2 brand new tires mounted and road forced balanced and was charged $90.00 . I brought the tires with me.And on top of that tech told me Left rear wheel was bad and would not balance Excessive run out he said and I have a viberation in rear of truck. If wheel is bad why did nt he use spare tire wheel to balance the new tire? . Should of known after seeing No Credit check needed sign plastered all over customer Lobby.

This was my first car service. Starting from the entrance, the waiting room was very clean and pleasant. Rob at the front desk made me feel very comfortable about my first service and he even shared briefly about how the Ace Automotive works.I came for the oil change and wiper replacement. I got 21 point inspections of my vehicle for free and even he sent a copy of report to me and got to know that everything was in perfect condition except one cabin air filter which Rob recommended to change. But he didn’t force me to do instead left it up to me to decide. The price was very reasonable and I was in and out with all the service done in about an hour. I took my 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe here for several things to be fixed! I was working with Rob and asked for a overall assessment of maintenance needed as I bought this used and was not sure of previous care. Rob was very honest with me and checked everything I asked. He stayed in contact with me if the estimate changed due to items I asked to be done.
