This is the best place so far I’ve taken my car. They are all so friendly and welcoming!l was shown what was being done on my car before it was done. The pricing is fair for the amazing service. I never felt like I was being ripped off (like other places ive been to in the past)! I will definitely be coming back.

Looking at reviews, fortunately their service appears to be on a different plain than marketing. Note: Arizonians dont need the locations in Iowa, Nebraska, etc... listed. We need the phone numbers for the locations in AZ. If I end up going here, Ill update.

Wonderful experience! I called on a Friday afternoon worried about my brakes grinding and although they had a full Saturday morning schedule they helped fit me in right at 8 AM. Wonderful and thoughtful customer service done in a timely manner. I was told I could get my car back around 2:30 pm- 3 pm and they got it done wonderfully by 10 AM! Will definitely be a returning customer and suggesting this location to friends. (Matthews the bomb.com!!)

My power braking suddenly went out and this location of Brakes Plus was able to get me in ASAP! They ended up doing less labor than expected on it, so my total was less than the original quote and I’m happy they were honest and changed the price. My car was done just a few hours later; I am very happy with the service I received and will absolutely be back should my car give me any more trouble!

I have been going to the Chandler Heights and Higley location for 3 years now and they have always provided great communication and service.

I had both my rear calipers, rotors, and pads changed out. I was pleasantly surprised how professional and courteous their operation is ran. They will physically show you the condition of what they recommend to replace without being overbearing and trying to up sell you. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend you give them a shot if you haven’t already.

They diagnosed the caliper was bad which was under warranty at the dealer. So I took the truck there. However been driving for a week no caliper problems dealer replace the brakes. However overall I still really enjoy the shop they are honest and I think made an honest mistake would still recommend them.

My truck was experiencing electronic throttle issues. Everything the techs tried to fix per diagnostics just didnt seem to fix the issue. With persistence and calling in additional help, they discovered a bad wire in the engine wiring harness. Issue is fixed!!! Thank you for not giving up and getting the job done! And, keeping a great sense of humor over the whole ordeal.

My brake pad check light kicked on. Ronnie helped me to check for free and diagnosed it’s not due to the brake wear but because the sensor was not set correctly. He’s very professional, patient and helpful! When I do need a brake pad change, I’ll definitely come back!

Went in because my brakes were locking up with normal breaking. They said the back axle seal was broken and leaking oil into the brakes, also the back drum breaks were too large for my truck. I had them do all recommended services as well as change a front head light and when I got it back, the brakes were sticking. I called them back right away and told them what was happening. They took it back and tried to find out what was going on and determined it was a bad linkage in the foot petal. Waited for parts to come in and they installed them. When I picked it up, the brakes still stuck. I called again and I brought it back to do a ride along so they could hear what I was hearing. After the ride along. The manager said the noise and popping I was hearing was totally normal and was due to the break pressure building up and releasing. When I let him know the truck has never done that before, he said he would have the other manager call me back. A call I have yet to receive. Also, I noticed today after changing my oil that they broke my windshield washer reservoir putting in my headlight and tried to glue it back on. All in all I paid 1200.00 for brakes that don’t work properly and a broken reservoir. Not happy.*update: company did not return my email to resolve issue.

Took my car here in February to get brakes done. They told me my front brakes were fine but that my back ones were at 1mm. They said my rotors were turnable and replaced my brake pads. While they had my car they noticed a coolant hose leaking so I told them to go ahead and replace it. About a week later I was leaving old Chicago and my car was pouring coolant all over the parking lot. Looked as though the hose they replaced broke. I called and they towed my car to their shop and upon inspection they notcied that the hose didnt actually break but that they had put it on too tight and it had actually broke my radiator. They replaced my radiator and paid the cost for it so everything was good. Fast forward to yesterday. I have been noticing some shaking when I brake for a couple weeks now and finally took my car to firestone for an inspection. They found that my back rotors were not surfaced correctly and are now warped and need replacing. Also they notcied that when brakes plus installed my radiator they did not mount it correctly and it is very loose. I will be going back to talk to them about remounting my radiator and see what they can do for my rotors but after that I will not be doing business with this company again.

I brought my car in for a few things that needed to be repaired and the employees at Brakes Plus made it a very easy and pleasant experience. They explained everything to me very well and didn’t try to make me get anything I didn’t need. I will definitely be coming back the next time I need my car looked at.

This place is awesome. Matthew helped us figure out the damage that was done to our car by a tire we hit on the freeway on our drive to Flagstaff. He stay after hours to help us, gave us a quick solution and filled our tires for free. We live in Tucson but if we lived here, this would be the place we’d go for car service!

They are wonderful here. If there is a problem this is the place I go. My Honda Pilot was taken to the dealership and they wanted to do a few thousand in repairs. Took it here and they fixed everything for a much more reasonable price. Everyone that works here is so nice! Now I have started taking my husbands car in as well.

We literally drove from New Mexico to have Matthew take care of our Toyota Forerunner. Wed taken it to the dealer to see about new shocks, (we have extended warranty) , and the guy at the dealership said he called the warranty company and they told him they couldnt do it- it would have cost us $4k. Matthew called the warranty place and he got it taken care of for us for SO MUCH LESS! It was done in a day and he personally delivered it to our hotel. Thank you so much! Talk about INTEGRITY and WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I came in to have my front brakes and rotors replaced, along with a brake fluid flush. Not only did they save me a ton of money by applying coupons, but I thought they did a fantastic job! The very next day, which was yesterday, I went to the dealership to get my oil changed. The service member at the dealership told me that my brake fluid was green due to contamination. The day before my brake fluid was flushed and refilled at brakes plus. The service member at the dealership then told me that the brake fluid had been overfilled. They also told me at the dealership that my rear brakes needed to be replaced because there was only 1 mm of brake left, yet this was never discussed the day before at brakes plus, in fact they told me the rear brakes would be fine for another year or so. Upon hearing this I called brakes plus to ask them why my brake fluid was contaminated when they had flushed and replaced it the day before, why it was overfilled and why my rear brakes needing to be replaced was never brought up the day before. I could tell the brakes plus employee that was talking to me was surprised, but he told me that he was positive that none of that was true, since he himself had done the work the day before. I was then told by the brakes plus employee that if I brought my car in he would walk through all of the problems with me. Sure enough he was right, the people at the dealership LIED to me. The manager at brakes plus walked through all of the problems with me: he showed me the brake fluid which was clear and definitely not green, it looked like canola oil and was brand new, he even did a contamination strip test in front of me and it was clean, the brake fluid was also definitely not too full, as for my rear brakes they showed me that I actually had 4mm and was completely fine. The manager walked through all of this in front of me, and I am so thankful that they did this. If you want a good deal on great auto repairs, done by honest, ethical and skilled people then come here. I will definitely be coming back, they earned a customer for life.

Made an appointment online for a 4 wheel alignment which is very convenient. Very impressed from when I first walked in because they greeted me with a smile and were professional. They explained and showed me what needed to be corrected by adjusting the camber and caster. The price was definitely fair for what they did. Will be back when I need an alignment! Myself and my Dad (Tom) have been coming to Brakes Plus for about 4 years and truly appreciate the thorough expertise provided by the staff, especially Matt and Barry. They both are consistently honest, nice and trustworthy when it comes to all types of repairs (not just brakes) and maintenance on our cars. Brakes Plus on Chandler Heights may not be the cheapest place to fix your car, but I never feel like Im being sold things I dont need. Very refreshing to go to an auto repair shop that is straight forward with you. I highly recommend them.

Took my car in for a oil change and break check (thought I had break dust on my tires) apparently it was just black dirt 🤣 so grateful for trustworthy technicians who are honest and dont try to push services that arent needed. Great customer service from start to finish, from phone call to make appointment to check out! 100% recommend and will be back!

I went in to get an oil change and after they did it I had this big oil leak happened. I am not happy with it and after going back and forth with them for about a month they refused to repair it. I will not be going back and I am warning people to be careful with them. They do shady work. I have contacted you the corporate office and you still have refused to help me.

The jury is out on this one. The old saying trust but verify....its now time to verify on this very expensive repair. Stay tuned for the results.I did not like how this repair went down, as the Lexus dealer could have perform all the work for the same price with no surprises. Im still investigating why the front end is sitting so low.The thing I can say for sure is they got grease on the drivers side seat cover, and the exterior of the car is covered with greasy finger prints. This is usually one of the basic things that good shops avoid doing.

As a young woman (18) who knows next to nothing about cars, they did a really good job explaining to me what was wrong with my car and getting it fixed overnight!Super friendly too

The guys working at this shop were straightforward and honest. I gave the symptoms and these professionals were able to diagnose and find the problem quickly. They machined my drums and replaced damaged components. Id give 11 out of 10 if I could and will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

I went in to get my oil changed and they laid my transmission oil stick on its side and didnt tell me about it and they refused to repair it. I also heard other customers complaining about other repairs they did. I am not going back and from I know they do unhonest work. Take your car to another place or you will have nothing but problems with it.

Con job watch out for the leaky hose con. Spray water and oh my God you gave a leak. We can fix it for a few hundred dollars. We went to our Honda dealer and guess what no leak!

Great group of guys. Got me in quickly for a busted heater hose. Gave me rides back home and picked me up when my car was ready. Price was comparable and I was able to use a coupon. This is the third time I’ve used them and I am always happy with the service.

I live in the neighborhood and would recommend this place time and time again. I had the dealer quote me $7000 for a repair and they did it for $169!! I have taken multiple vehicles here and they never try to oversell, they just do what is needed. First of all, I found this Brakes Plus location by doing research (looking at reviews), and this place is off the charts with great reviews! Now, I truly understand why. I needed a wheel alignment. Matthew was incredibly accommodating during the appointment scheduling process. He was very friendly and definitely customer-service oriented. I had to reschedule my appointment, and he was so understanding. Barry, the loud and deaf guy, greeted me at 8:00a.m. this morning). He was so funny and really made me feel at home in their shop. I presented him with an online coupon ($59 for a wheel alignment which was normally $67). Saving money made me happy too! The appointment lasted just under one hour. Mark gave me a bottle of water while I waited. No hassles whatsoever. No upselling. Just honest to goodness great customer service! Im looking forward to going there for all my car needs (oil changes, etc.) because I TRUST these folks!

They have a great rating for a reason! I brought my car in because my brakes were squeaking and thought I was about to get some bad news but turns out my breaks are fine but just had a lot of dirt in them! Didn’t pressure me to do any work and gave me an estimate for when the breaks need to be changed and showed me what would need to be done so I could start saving up in advance. Excellent, HONEST men.

Brake plus is so helpfully for my car service. Today they got my car done on time because I would’ve stayed there all day because I couldn’t get a ride home. They got to do my car earlier Than later! That’s was very nice from them to do that for me!

I would highly recommend this location for honest reliable work on your vehicle. I brought in my 2015 chevy cruz for major oil leaks. Upon inspection they believed it was caused from a pvc failure. I had a warranty letter regarding this from GM was told that it would need to brought to the dealer for this issue so it would be covered. After the dealership said they did not agree do to not having the correct engine code they told me my extended warranty would have to cover it. I pulled my car from the dealership and brought it back to brakes plus and they did confirm the PCV was part of my issues and should have been taken care of by the dealership but happy to take of the issue for me since my extended warranty covered most repairs I trusted them to fix it right and save money on a part not covered under my warranty. They addressed every issue including finding work done incorrectly from before I bought my car used. Matthew Closson was very helpful, friendly and patient with all my questions since this turned into a major repair. I thank them for helping me get my car fixed right and finding the sources of what created the oil leaks in the first place. I will continue bringing my car here for their great customer service and honesty.

Despite high numbers of automotive repair shops in the area, it is hard to pick the right one to fix your car issues and do quality work. I originally heard about Brakes Plus from a friend who recommended their shop. At this time, I had already had another completely different company work on my car, and the other company had done quite the opposite of fixing it, it was a real mess. Upon bringing the car to Brakes Plus they did a complete inspection, and took the time to actually show me what was really going on with the brakes, the lower control arm, shocks and struts. Moving forward with Brakes Plus doing the repairs, the car has been much better ever since, and with no surprises. I am very pleased with their quality of work, and high customer service levels. If you are looking for a auto shop with honest reviews and honest work, look no further, this would be the one. Also, whoever is in charge of hiring is doing a great job, all the front counter employees are very nice for a great overall experience. We will be back for any repairs needed in the future, but hopefully not too soon :)

I wish I wouldve know this place did more than just brakes a long time ago. I was looking for another oil change place since I can never get a quick, last minute oil change at sun devil auto. I called and asked since it does say brakes plus and they told me to come on in! They took my car back right away, they were quick, efficient and super friendly. Team has been very flexible accommodating my immediate need for alignment and were very thorough explaining the process, they said theyll take the car for a drive, lift it up and check if alignment is needed, showed me where the wheels were out of alignment and printed me a report for before and after, excellent service, will always use their help for alignment any day.

My dad always comes to this location and when I found myself needing my brake pads replaced he recommended this location. I made an appointment for Saturday morning and when I asked if I could bring it in Friday evening they told me to come in and had me out of the store within about an hour! 4/3/17. I give 5 stars when a place deserves it, and these guys do! I have a 2011 C6 Corvette and needed to have my brakes inspected and my oil changed... They have a free inspection, and Matthew, the fantastic Manager, fit me in today on my only day off. Wow, such fantastic customer service! The Management and Technicians (especially Tech 15050) there are extremely knowledgeable, they are quick, but extremely thorough, at getting your car finished because they know how valuable your time is.
