The guys that work here are honest men. The last time I took my SUV in for repairs, I got a call saying the mechanic accidentally broke a piece of plastic on the radiator and so I was getting a new radiator for FREE! These are really good people to take your vehicle to and feel confident youre not getting charged for something you dont need.

Fast service at a reasonable price. They did exactly what needed to be done and pointed out that my brakes were almost metal on metal. Their pricing for the brake work was well within reason. This was my first visit to Kobars and I will bring my Honda Civic back in the future. They have earned enough of my trust to come back when I next need service.

It was odd. I wasn’t smelling what they were cooking. Don’t think they tried to smell what the Schott was cookin. But I embrace the odd and I understand this happens occasionally, so firmly in a neutral stance without negativity I’ll say......it was fine.

Me and my family have been going here for years. They are very nice and professional. Great people and honest and reliable. Not a typical car place where they just try and get your money as fast as they can. Would not go anywhere else!

John and Gene is very helpful and very friendly great mechanics working there.

Long story short: refused to meet even halfway on repair costs to a wheel bearing assembly that was damaged from a previous clutch repair in which they forgot to put a cotter pin back in, causing the axle to collapse on itself. They replaced the axle but there was significant warping on the wheel bearing assembly that they are now trying to say is normal wear and tear. The other wheel bearings that didnt have the axle collapse on them are fine of course. Please see photos or full explanation on Yelp since Google has character limit

Went in to see how much it was to put on a part I was going to buy, was told a great price so I dropped off my truck the next morning. Was ready at noon, but was told a price more then double of what I was told the day before...was taken by shock. Was told they would honor the quote I was given. Will def go back

My Moms air conditioning wasnt working & so she took it to be repaired. They added freon to it but it didnt hold because she needed a new manifold hose, so she went back for the repair $579. Not a day later it wasnt working & felt like a humid feeling in the truck. So she took it back & the owner knows my brother so, because he wanted to cushion the blow that she needed a condenser as well he called my brother to call her! WTH!!! Who does that???? Needless to say my Mom will get the condenser repaired at a different shop as this one clearly doesnt know how to conduct business professionally at all!!!!!!!!!

I have been taking our cars to Kobars for years and always feel that I have received honest, quality service.One time I had bought an older car for my daughter and brought it in right away for a check-up. I asked them to give it a look over and let me know if anything important needs attention.I suspect for a lot of repair shops, this is a blank check to find all sorts of problems. But not Kobars. They looked it over, said everything looked ok and had a few suggestions on what to watch for. Indeed, the car ran fine and turned out to be a good value.Thanks Kobars!

They have been honest and have done excellent work in all of my auto repairs/services. They’re not out to make money on unneeded repairs and will diagnose accurately and give you options.

My daughter mistakenly took her truck somewhere else in the same parking lot. It was an honest mistake. She thought she was at Kobars. She had noticed she was in the wrong place. Long story short the other shop wanted to charge us $712 for the rear brake shoes, drums, and hardware plus labor. I was able to take the truck to KOBARs and Im soooo glad we did!!! They looked at it and said there were no problems with the rear breaks etc...... I appreciate Kobars honesty!!!! We will return, and refer them on to my customers!!!! Thank you Kobar!!!!

We’ve been taking all our vehicles to Kobars since we moved to AZ in 2004. We’ve now moved out of Gilbert to Maricopa and still make the trip for all maintenance and repairs - Gene and John are exceptional people and they run an excellent business. True professionals and fair prices

Very impressed with the speed, accuracy of my estimate, and professionalism of the service I received! Would definitely recommend taking your vehicle to these guys. Instead of replacing my entire drivers side tire hub they replaced the individual studs and nuts, saving me $100 and a lot of time. I will be bringing my 2000 chevy malibu in for an alignment in the very near future.

If you have bought a Chrysler Sebring you are probably at the repair shop often. I have been going to these guys for about 3 years now for both my very old car and truck They are honest and the prices are great. Cheap fixes are...well cheap as they should be. Catastrophic fixes are very fair priced. Im about to try and trade my clunker in which means I wont be seeing them as often. I just want to thank Kobars for keeping my pile of crap running with out breaking my bank while I saved up for a newer car.
