Tony (spelling unsure) is AMAZING. So attentive to detail and takes his time to really make your nails perfect. I will ask for him every single time. He asked for Diana to help out with the design I asked for, and she did a wonderful job. I am so happy with my nails!!!

I love this place they always do go work for me. I go to John Justin’s he is the best one there front nail chair on your left. Go John you be doing your thing.

Inconsistent pricing. I came to this establishment one month ago and got a full set done (clear acrylic) nail shaped (Almond), and clear coat polish, and their service was $25. I came back today, a month later, to get the same service with a different color powder (pink acrylic) Almond shape, and again, clear polish, and I was charged $45! They claimed the upcharge was because I got my nail shaped, which was the same exact service I got last time. An up charge of $20 in 1 month. I wont be returning. I worked the same nail tech, and there was no reason for the excuses they gave. Their price sheet online quotes $25 and up for the service. I got no design, no colored polish, nothing. Very basic, and was charged 45 for a service I paid 25 for 4 weeks prior.

My guy always does an amazing job. Every time I go in there I get exactly what I ask for. I never have to wait long and he does my nails so quickly. My favorite place to go. I went and apparently they don’t add soap to the pedicure water(?) I saw a customer storm out because she was upset that they were giving her a pedicure with JUST water, which is reasonable in my opinion bc that doesn’t really feel as hygienic…I got a simple manicure but it wasn’t done with high quality, the nail polish didn’t reach the base of my nail (see picture), the manicurist was a bit rough (potentially my fault for not telling her to be gentler), and I got a cut on my thumb. Also other nail places give you lotion and maybe even a small hand massage if you get a manicure but as soon as my nails were dry the service here was over. I guess you get what you pay for (but technically you don’t because i checked the menu and i think it said you get lotion).The only good side is that it’s relatively cheap. Also the place doesn’t seem like it has great ventilation. Not very good vibes.

The front receptionist (she also was waxing eyebrows) had a terrible attitude and was extremely rude to me. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a nail salon I could consistently go to, but her actions turned me off completely. Would not go back because this place clearly does not value their customers. Also, they nickel and dime for every little thing (was charged over $10 to remove my previous service, even though I was getting a $60+ service that day - I’ve NEVER experienced that at any nail salon and I go regularly). Lastly, the guy doing my nails asked what shape I wanted (I have long natural nails), I told him square-round and he gave me coffin. Since it was on my natural nails, once it was done we couldn’t go back. Very disappointed in this place.

I came in twice recently, once to get a set taken off and I left with acrylic peeling off of my nails for days. The second time I was a walk in for a full set and practically the whole time my technician was doing my nails he was also looking at his phone. When he started with the electric driller I pulled my hand back so he would notice my discomfort with him not looking at my hand at all and he just ran the drill on his arm as if to say you’ll be fine if I get you. Long story short I left with the acrylic coming up well over my cuticles, spaces where you can see straight through the nail because the acrylic is so thin, half of the nails are crooked, some of the nails are lifting already and I only had the service done three days ago.

I’ve been coming to elegant nails for 2 years and they never disappoint! The prices are good and they can accommodate any nail design that you ask for . Friendly staff and clean equipment:)

I was able to get right in with a phone call. Tony was wonderful. He doesn’t say much but he cleaned my feet and hands very well. He is careful and makes sure he gets every little thing. Great job on applying gel polish. Only a little trouble with the regular nail polish. I recommend.

First time ever coming here and I was very satisfied! Although I was a walk-in, I was taken care of very quickly. Technician did my gel manicure (beautifully) and she was very sweet, nice and super funny! She was very detail oriented, gentle and very attentive. Overall, they have a good amount of colors to choose from and the place was very pretty and clean. Definitely coming here again! :)

This time wasnt all that great. I usually get John. But he was with another customer when I got there. The girl I got didnt really know how to make any designs. My nails are ok. But alittle basic. And the girl GAVE HERSELF A TIP when I opted to not give her one. Im not going to go back here again.

And their gel nails actually last almost 2 weeks which is how it should be !! Ive gone other places in the area where it chips the next day. Now I only go here. Amazing place! When I made my appointment yesterday, I was nervous because one of the managers seemed a little snooty but when I came in with my sisters and my mom, today, we were treated like celebrities.The ambiance was real swanky! Reminds me of the VIP section of an upscale lounge. They get booked up fast so an appointment is necessary. She did my pedicure. She was great and so sweet. Totally a pleasure. My first experience here was great! I came in hoping they could take me as walk-in but they were booked up for that day but the receptionist booked me a appointment for the next day around the same time. My Elegant Nail Salon and she was awesome, so sweet and easy to talk to. Most of the time when I get my nails done I spend the entire time on my phone but not with her, we talked the whole time. I got a basic pedicure and a gel manicure and both turned out looking good! The prices were decent too. They do offer drinks when you get seated and they have a nice selection to chose from. I absolutely love this place. The staff are great and very friendly. The place is clean and neat, and they have a wide range of methods and colours for you to choose from. I got an acrylic set with gel + chrome, as well as a chrome gel pedicure, and both lasted far longer than I expected - everything looked neat and pretty one month later. The price is also affordable.

I should of paid attention to the reviews before coming to this place. THE most horrible nails Ive ever gotten! All my nails are a different shape and size and I have residue from the acrylic everywhere! The polish is also lumpy. Im so sad, tried to make myself feel good with a new manicure but now feel worse!! DO NOT GO HERE! I also had to clean the excess polish around my own nails becau as e the tech didnt even attempt to do it.

Best nail salon Ive found in Gainesville! My technician did such a good job and paid so much attention to detail making sure they were even. Even with her being so careful to perfect them, it took only 45 minutes. They play great music too! Had a really great experience and definitely wont be going anywhere else.

Went in to this salon asking for a simple French manicure. I had to correct the technician for almost half of the nails that were either crooked or missed paint. The final product is already starting to chip off just hours after my visit. Go somewhere else to get your nails done.

They did such a great job with my nails the work and effort they put into my nails is amazing, I can say they will make sure you get what you want and make you feel comfortable, very friendly service! Ive been there to the salon two separate times now. The first time was an appointment for gel manicure and the 2nd was a walk in for a pedi. Both times were a nice experience and they were able to work me in almost immediately for the walk in. The gel polish has lasted on my nails for quite a while too

I just received one of the best pedicures Ive ever had. Technician was my nail tech and she was just what I needed. She was kind and made great conversation.My nails look great, but more importantly, I feel better as a whole. I cannot recommend her enough.

The service was always great and they never pushed other services on me. I would always get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. My gel nails would start to chip 2-3 weeks after getting them done. Was recommended to get my nails done here.

I love this place! Everyone is friendly! The hand and foot massages are like outer body experiences no matter who does it. Just the overall vibe in there is great! It is pricey, but its quality all the way around.

The staff are lovely, speak a few languages (including English and French), remember you and love to chat about their kids. Some of the younger staff members are in college studying tech, law enforcement and engineering. They are all Vietnamese and have very South East Asian manners. If you are rude, they will simply shut down. If you have a difficult time working with people who speak a different language, you will have to be patient. The worst thing about Elegant Nails is the customers. Every time I am there I see and hear outrageously rude behavior. Not only are the staff speaking a different language, they also communicate with customers with body language and subtle facial expressions. I have never gotten anything but high-quality services there, but I am polite and work on communication. Its one of those get what you give situations. People who throw fits in there know little to nothing about cultural understanding, tend to be hostile and rude and I am always amazed how the staff manage these situations with such grace. I highly recommend.

Id give this place more stars if I could!I went to Elegant Nails for the first time today, to try out a spot closer to home than I usually go. I came straight from the airport with 2 broken acrylics - the rest of my nails werent in great shape either. I also had my cat with me which was no problem for them at all!The place was very clean, everyone was so friendly, and there were more polish options than Ive ever seen. Even though I only booked an acrylic fill, they also carved time out for a pedicure!Words cant describe the service here - I had sparkles on my toes and they made sure I had the perfect distribution of the 2 types of sparkles from the polish using a tool to place the larger ones one by one. My acrylics were worse for wear and they took the time to take them off and fully & meticulously re-apply them - they look amazing.The most incredible part was when nail technician was finishing up and my cat was climbing out of his carrier. I tried to help him back in and his leg got caught and twisted in a strange way on the carrier strap. He was hissing, yowling, I almost thought Id have to take him to the vet. She helped me safely get him out, gave him water, cleaned my scratch from the process.... and stayed well after hours to make sure he was okay and finished my paint!Thank you so much and everyone from Elegant Nails.

I chose Elegant Nail Salon because the prices were good and they were able to give me an appointment the same day. Technician was awesome. She really tailored the work to my needs and worked my problem areas until I felt warmth and relief. I highly recommend her and wish I lived in Gainesville so I could visit her regularly. She did my manicure and pedicure and she was great. She was very thorough and they look great! Professional, yet stylish which is exactly what I was looking for. Im definitely going to ask for her again when I go back.

I am so in Love with my nails! I have finally found the one. I had gone to so many nail places, and they do a good job, but not nearly as perfect as Tuan at Elegant Nail Salon . I had chosen a color and he recommended the same color but a bit more pigmented so it would be a bit brighter. I took his advice and have found my favorite pink. I believe it was #94.Tuan did an amazing job fixing my nails from a previous gel fill they did. Highly recommend Tony. He is so sweet and on point.****

Got my nails done on a Thursday went out of the country. My two thumb nails were cracking and they eventually broke. Still out of the country at this point so not able to come get them fixed. Come in on a Saturday to get 3 nails fixed because 2 had broke and another was beginning to crack. The woman in the front told me they are only responsible for full sets and not fill ins so I would have to pay. I’m like okay whatever I just want them fixed. She starts taking them off with an attitude and is now hurting me. Didn’t seem to care that she was hurting me and had an attitude. I ended up leaving because your store messed up my nails I come to get them fixed willing to pay even though I feel like I shouldn’t have had to and then you have an attitude and start hurting me. I always leave good tips at this place but I will never go back!!!!!

Everyone is friendly but not intrusive, theyre fine with me reading my book to relax while the pedicure happens.The polish and everything lasted forever - I only went back after 3.5 weeks because my nails were growing and you could see the bottom of the nail. No chipping, nothing.Great quality, affordable price. Definitely coming back here often.

I walked in on a Saturday morning at 10am, and was unable to be seated until 11, but I was informed up front, put my name down, and came back an hour later, was seated immediately after picking my colors for a pedi which took about an hour, then did arcilics with a specific gel costing. At first I didnt like the size so the stylist worked with me to figure out exactly what I was looking for. I did not feel rushed, and throughout the appointment ensured everything was perfect, and if it wasnt it was adjusted right away. There were multiple long time customers in, and the environment was awesome. I am so happy with how my nails turned out, and I am confident they will last, and when the time does come I need a fill or replacement, I will for sure be coming back!

My manicure and pedicure were done perfectly. Im amazed and in love. I showed my manicurist a picture and she killed them. I sadly dont remember her name but she has tattoos and really surprised me. The below is what I showed her I wanted but in red and my nails look spot on. Place was clean and the music videos on the tv kept me occupied. I love this place.❤️

So I tried this place because of all good reviews! I finally found a new nail spot the customer service is beyond great. Seems its own by three ladies they tag team on the customers. All of these ladies did awesome work on my nails. The price are reasonable since the work is very detail and good. Im loving my gel mani and pedi Ill be coming here again and again!!! Im hoping they dont change there way of work as they grow more clients since all three of them are good at what they do. There thorough and often check in with you make sure you are liking there work!! Finally nail spot that really cares!! My gel nails still last a good two weeks. Highly recommend you give this place a try.

After working on my feet all weekend, they needed a bit of pampering. I walked in, no waiting, and asked for a pedicure. The attendant was so thorough. My feet feel soft and relaxed. I highly recommend this place!

Horrible service.The nail tech was upset I did not want a full set anymore and wanted a manicure instead. Did VERY mediocre on my nails and polish change.When asked for a refund, they claimed they don’t do those. I called my bank and had the transaction terminated.

Gel fell off 2 days after, nails are cracking. Will not return. The older lady rushed through the job and told me to clean off my own nails because the polish ran on my fingers and she got an attitude when I asked her to fix it. Will not be returning.

Elegant nails is trashy and classless. I asked them to fix my nails that they ruined and they denied me service, even though I was willing to pay. They said they knew how to do some specific style I wanted and completely ruined it. DO NOT GO THERE, THEY HAVE 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE- they pretended not to know how to speak English- and when I started to take pictures of their licenses, they miraculously knew how. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! This all happened the day before graduation.

My second time as a walk-in without an appointment & was able to get my nails done within a few mins ! They are friendly & they are efficient & keep the salon clean. I have recommended this nail salon to several friends & they were extremely pleased !🌺

When I left this salon today, 9 of my fingers were bleeding. My nail technician accidentally got dip polish on my finger tips. It had dried and instead of removing it with nail polish remover, she pulled it off my finger along with some of my skin, even after I told her that it hurt. When she was filing down my dip powder, she ended up cutting many of my cuticles and they still hurt (12 hours later). I told her that the electric file was hurting, but that didnt stop her. The salon was very messy and understaffed. My nail technician was helping 2-3 other people while she was working on my nails. My nails look good and it was relatively cheap, but I dont think the lower cost was worth the discomfort.

YESTERDAY I had just polish put on and a pedicure,My husband had a manicure and pedicure.He told them basic pedicure they gave himThe most expensive. THE BILL WAS OVER $100.00Ok, next time I will deal with someone who can speak English better.Until today....I’m fuming because my French manicure is cracking and peeling off! In just 24 hours!I will never go back. I feel they took advantage of us, claiming not to understand, and they use very cheap products.

The guy did a crappy job on my nails and Im not even picky. I had so much dried acrylic under my nails and around the edges and he had to paint them three times which ended up making them look like a small child just slopped the paint on. Two building inspectors came in to take pictures and 3 of their employees that definitely looked like they were underage quickly ran to the back rooms and hid then the rest of the people working there were talking fast back and forth freaking out. They had so many workers that I dont even think that had that many seats in there. Definitely something wrong with the whole operation. Shady.

Small, cramped salon. Pricing is the same as other nail shops in the area so there isnt anything special about this place. I went in because it was in a convenient location. Wasnt impressed with my mani/pedi.....much better stores in the area. Wont be returning.

At first was very pleased on my service ,until 2 days later all the Polish and design was gone not sure if bad product or not .but after paying $55 for basic pedi and Mani you surely would think it would last longer than 2 days. So not returning. But the young lady whom waxes had my sister brows together for $8 could not complain..

Came for a pedi, I was looking for a new shop.I first came because of all the beautiful nail pictures it I dont even get nails lol. I also loved the reviews. Well, got my pedi and my feet are sooo soft, the ladies are very welcoming and sweet. A younger lady did my nails but was very helpful with finding the color I really wanted for my nails.The employee working on the lady next to me appeared to have a great relationship with the customer which is always nice to see, at least for me. Lastly the west young lady that did my nails made nice small talk. I dont like to talk much so she had the perfect amount of chatter.#SatisfiedCustomer

All the girls here are so lovely and talented!!!! ive never been so happy leaving a nail salon. my natural nails are so thin, brittle, they just rip and break off. so im cautious about getting gel manicures, because even that doesnt hold up on me. however, employess of Elegant Nail Salon took attention to that and did several coats to ensure it lasted. almost a week later, and not one chip, scratch, or gem fell off! making an appointment is seamless, they can do literally any design you could think of, and this manicure is lasting longer than anything ever has on me. consider me a regular!

This establishment has poor management. The staff took over thirty minutes to take off my nails, and kept taking other customers before finishing the initial (seated) ones. I left the salon once I ran out of patience and my nails still look a mess.

My 15-year-old niece went here and got her nails done. They look horrible! There was a nail exposed on the sides past the acrylic, the sides has sharp edges all over the place, the paint was thin and rough like sandpaper. Hey tech by the name of Thoa is the one who did her nails. I spoke with her on a Saturday on the phone, and since they were closed on Sunday she said to come back on Monday. We did that, and she got really nasty and said that’s the way they’re supposed to work! She raised her voice at me I raised mine back! I ended up showing every customer and most of the other employees my nieces nails. People were saying and no they shouldn’t look that way, but Thoa remained very nasty. I will never step foot back in there! I would however like to know who the owner is? Does anyone know? Thank you

Needs to stop putting old ppl or lazy ppl who do not know how to do today’s style nails correctly. Was there for over two hours, was overcharged and my nails look horrible. They pick and choose who they want to do nice nails for and that’s unacceptable for business. Very disappointed and will not return. Terrible service.

Where is the no star rating! The guy who did my nails made it look like my 5 year old did it! He even cleaned them up TWICE. Never a word spoken...at least not to me and never in English... Came home and took it all off. Shame on them for employees who can do a simple manicure.

I wish I could give them even less than 1 starHorrible service, its basically a turn out service. They try to get you done in 10 minutes. I had wax spilled on my face for eyebrows, my nails are botched and uneven. Its even pricey for such crap serviceWhen going in, I would at least tell them I dont want to be rushed in and out.Good service = good tip.

Where shall I begin, everything about this salon is just 5 starts, the owner and staff are just perfection! The next thing top on my list is cleaniness of salon and tools are per individual.

Was rushed an Ive only had my nails on for a week now an there already lifting up. The nail tech I went to at first didnt know what she was doing. The same nail I complained about her putting a too large tip on is the one that actually came off. I asked about the diamonds that they put on the nail an he replied that they dont have any. Basiaclly my service was rushed. An over all Ive been to this place many of times. Everytime I was unsatisfied. An every time u go there they have someone who new an I really dont think they all be licensed to do the work that theyre doing. Will not request this nail salon to NO ONE 👎
