I made an appointment for a pedicure and manicure with gel. Kathy, the technician doing my nails left me waiting to go do another manicure. When she got back, she was rushing getting my manicure done. The gel polish was very sloppy, gel all over my skin. I asked her to clean it up, but still didnt look neat (photos taken are after my color was cleaned up). My toes were done by an older lady who seemed to be struggling, she had to remove the polish twice, and was very sloppy too. When I told them what was going on, I was only offered to pick another color, as if the color was the issue, not the technician. I still had to pay a full $70.

LOAN didn’t do a good job . She did my nails so bad first off she hurt me a lot of times , she didn’t do my nail shape right she didn’t polish my entire nail and she left such a mess on the back side of my nail anyways I didn’t like it one bit ! She was soo rough my finger nails are hurting 🙄 she kept on constantly hurting me wouldn’t stop after I asked her. IF YOU END UP GOING MAKE SURE NOT TO GO TO MIS GIRL . Don’t say I didn’t warn you

A kind younger man who works in the front, but I didn’t come here for the front guest workers... My nail tech was Peter and I was disappointed. He’s a little rough handed and when I was confused about how acrylic works and he had to get the front man over and he had a slightly rude tone with me. Disregarding, my nails look a mess. They have a lot of bubbles and pockets in them AND he chipped off my real nails with those buffer tools when I TOLD him I’m growing them out (underneath the acrylic, no tip). I wanted my nails to look professional...I got these acrylic to grow my nails and to look good, plus look at my cuticles??? Just slap on some oil ALL over my hands and let me go. I had to wash the greasiness off smh. Waste of $42 bucks.

Although my friend and I were seated quickly, I was left sitting beside her, not being waited on while my friends nails were nearly finished. People that came in after me were being waited on. The owner was there working alongside the staff but there was no apology or effort made to earn my business. Needless to say, I will not make a second attempt at giving them my business.

I had a great experience at City Nails and Spa! It was my first time here and it did not disappoint! I requested for Lee to do my SNS and design after reading great reviews about her.I got medium/long SNS nails with a free hand design and Lee replicated my reference photo perfectly! I am usually very picky but Lee made sure the shape and quality of my nails were immaculate.Kimberley did my gel pedicure and did an awesome job too. Both ladies were very sweet, and made sure my nails were executed perfectly. They also used a massage gun on my back after my nails were complete which was really nice too! 100% recommend both of these artists for anyone looking for great quality nail care and design!

Trish, and all the other nail technicians there, take their time to make sure your nails are exactly how you want them. I have been going for almost a year and am always happy when I leave.

It is often difficult to find a great salon. We finally found this one since moving g to the area. My wife and I will certainly be back thanks to Sandy and Loan.

Lee was the best! Even on an extremely busy day, everyone was on point! Several rude customers, but the workers continued to work their magic. I was so sad to see that there was a lack of compassion for the people performing a service were never seen taking a break or even slowing down, but were criticized for making people wait - whether they had an appointment or not. I still think they are the best in town. Lee’s high school son worked the front desk and remained professional despite the customers being mean to him.

No wait and service was nice. I have RA and the lady that did my nails was very gentle.

I drive over 45 minutes to get my nails done here because they take care of their customers like Queens and Kings. Environment is peaceful. Get your nails done you also get a 5-10 min massage. After working all day they make yourelax.... I recommend everyone to experience City Nails you wont be disappointed

So much to say... I went in to get previous SNS removed and a new set put on. He started cutting my nails without looking underneath to see where my skin was and he cut me pretty deep with the nail clipper. He ignored that it happened and went ahead and put a new nail right on top while he prepped the rest of the nails. Like I said I came in for SNS, but he decided to do acrylic for whatever reason. I always get coffin and I explained that I like them to be skinny and not really wide, my nails are so wide and at least half of them are crooked and because he did acrylic and gel I cant file them myself. Lastly, they were expensive and I gave a tip because I felt pressured from the sign they have about tipping, I shouldnt have tipped anyone for making me bleed. This was my third time here and it will be my last!

I was with another nail salon here in Gainesville for over 7 years. I didn’t feel like they cared about me anymore. They made a ton of money off me!!Well... I needed a new comfortable salon and I absolutely found it!! My niece drives an hour and a half for some girl time. She brought her daughter and the three of us were treated like princesses!!I’m here to stay! Thank you!!

First time I have ever used this business.. Leigh was very GREAT!! She took the time and made my nails look the best they have been in a long time!! Definitely worth the drive back down here!!

Went to have a full set with SNS put onNot only are two or three nails crooked, but hegouged me with the drill twice. I also asked for a sparkly top coat. Used several synonyms and never received it. Just fel t very rushed and didnt seem to care what he was doing. Will definitely not be coming back.

Great atmosphere...that’s it. Quality of work isnt equivalent for what they charge. They don’t pay close attention to details at all, my cuticles are not right and it’s kinda upsetting...definitely won’t be back.

Even as a male Ive never had such amazing treatment for nails and a pedicure. I always thought this was for females but this nail salon is amazing and very fairly priced. I will go there anytime!!!

Average SNS nails. However, my rating is based on their COVID procedures, or shall I say a lack of? This is the only nail salon that didn’t have me either sanitize my hands upon entering or sanitize immediately within stepping inside. My highest complaints was that two young women who worked here sat in the chairs with no mask. Why have your customers be required to wear a mask if your employees don’t? Do you think your employees don’t pose a risk, yet your customers do? For the money, there are far better nail salons. Also, this place only had a couple other customers at my time of service. I’ve never been in a nail salon on a busy weekend day completely dead. Obviously theres a reason.

Went to get a pedicure and full set today. The salon is pretty and clean but the quality of the service was terrible. It was the most painful full set experience I have ever had. Dan filed my real nails super thin to remove the existing SNS set. He also kept filing my skin with the drill. I complained 2 times but he kept doing it. My nails burned and hurt so bad from start to finish. I’m definitely never going back!

Fantastic service. My nails look great. I followed Angel from her previous salon and am so happy I did! My pedicure with Tianna was incredibly relaxing as well.

I took my 3 grand daughters to get a mani/pedi. Every one treated us like we were royalty. The girls had the best time ever and talked about it for days after. Thanks staff for treating me and my grands like queens and no one else mattered even tho they were just children. 💯👸

I came in with an idea for my nails and Dan, a fellow friendly worker came along and helped me find a design for my nail, and may I say it came out beautifully.

I went in to get a manicure and pedicure. The girl doing my pedicure cut my toenail so short on the sides I was bleeding and afterward I got a toe infection. Would not go back ever! Also my gel polish fell off after 4 days. But they were nice enough to put it back on no charge

My daughter and I went and her nails did not even last a week. When she went they charged he 8 to have them removed. Last time either Us go to this place. They overcharge as well
