They did an ok job. I felt a little cheated that the person getting a pedicure next to me was getting the works while I barely got any love. She was still getting scrubbed on meanwhile they finished my pedicure and dip manicure. They also did not soak of my old dip nails, but they just shoved a file under them to rip them off. Otherwise, my nails came out ok.

I came to this place yesterday after work , I paid for a 25$ regular pedicure & as I was drying my feet under the dryer the lady wanted me to pay , so to not get my feet messed up I gave her my card , she came back with a 25$ receipt I needed to sign , I signed it and when I was done I left and said thank you . I look on my transactions on my card a day later & for “ hip hop nails “ I have a charge for 30$. They took 5$ from me & left me in the negative. DO NOT GO TO HIPHOP NAILS . They will hear from me tomorrow.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend to go to hip hop nails . I literally had them on for a week and up until now they are continuously coming off , my frost nail broke nearly 2 days after I got them done and I just waited to see if any others would fall off and sure enough... very disappointed cause they where cute 🤦🏾‍♀️

Dont waste your money here! I went to get acrylics done and the guy was rushing the whole time... my nails ended up looking like they needed a re-fill and i had to finish cleaning my nails myself. He color them very poorly and i had glue all over my fingers. Never again!

I came in on my birthday and showed them a picture of how I wanted my nails. It was thirty minutes before closing and THEY made the decisions to take me in. We get to the part where I needed to pick a color. But the colors I wanted I couldnt get because they told me last minute that I needed gel nails to get the colors I wanted. So i decided to do a design for my nails since they lied about being able to do them like how I wanted in the picture. Btw the picture was VERY basic. Anyway, they decided to charge extra for the nail design. AND they complained about it even though they were still getting paid for it. They insulted me calling me picky. I wouldnt recommend going here.

Took my niece for acrylics to celebrate her birthday and the tech did a horrible job. It looked like she painted her nails at home. I had to bring her back the next day and wait 15 minutes for another tech to correct the job. The result was much better and my neice was very happy. Dont bring a little girl here to get nails. Not as much care is taken on their little hands.

Please dont waste your time and money. I paid for a manicure and pedicure and the young man was rushing through to get to the next person. I literally had take the cleaning tool and clean my toes properly. And when I told the young man to make corrections he was not responsive. I work too hard for poor service...Never again

I went here to get acrylics taken off and put back on. My salon where I like has colored acrylic powder. They looked at me like an alien when I asked for this. Getting my nails taken off was miserable. I am sure she was just laughing because she was uncomfortable, but when I winced she laughed. I opted just to get gel polish. They had great colors and the girl took her time but, to be honest, it just didnt look good. Also, people were eating fried chicken which (although not the salons fault) made it an unappealing manicure. I am giving two stars because it was cheap and the girl who did my nails was sweet. I wont be going back.

It was one of the better places to get your eyebrows arched and for only $8. But the last time I had them done, as you can see from the picture, the woman messed up and took way to much off the left brow. I never had a problem until this time, and if they want a better review, I suggest my next one be free!!

Went in today and got pampered! Henry hooked me up with a beautiful ombre full set me and my other half got pedis, his first and he loved it! And I also got my eyebrows waxed. Im so happy I finally found MY nail lab! Thank you guys!-Bri *TheWindsheildLady😁

I usually come here to get Eyelashes done and I guess its pretty hard to screw those up. Today I decided to try a pedicure. It was horrible. There was a lady there who had arrived before getting her pedicure done. The lady who did mine just rushed the whole thing. I was done long before someone who was there before me. I definitely wouldnt recommend this place for a relaxed pedicure. It was worth $25 and an absolute rip off. Very disappointed

Went in with someone who was getting her nails done with no intention of getting anything myself. I have never been to a nail salon before this nor had any sort of salon services, so I was rather ignorant. The employees continuously pressured me about getting my nails done and eventually stopped taking no for an answer. I was reassured that it would only be $30 while I was being rushed from one chair to another. Before I knew it, $30 turned into $38, with the final total being $42 with no explanation. I may not know much about nails, but it was very clear that she didnt glue my one thumb. She was so rushed and distracted talking to friends, other employees, on the phone, and getting up several times to handle other customers while I waited. She caused all of my fingers on my left hand to break open and bleed, as she kept slipping with the drill file and hitting the skin around my nails. When I pointed this out to her, she just responded with Oh? Yeah. and kept going. I left miserable with my fingers burning, aching. and bleeding.

So on Friday the 3rd I decided to go to a new nail place in Gainesville. Hip Hop Nails. I got a regular full set with coffin shape. First off, the nails are horrible looking. The acrylic isnt filed right, the shape is wrong on three nails and the Polish job is worse. I will never go back here. On top of the horrible nail job he charged me $50 no maam, if I could post these pictures I would!!

Overall great experience! The only issue I had was that the person doing my nails and I had to work extra hard to communicate! I would totally recommend this place.

This place is a TOTAL ripoff!!! I went there on a Thursday afternoon to get a full set, I was seated at station #5. Loved the way she did my nails up until Sunday when they started coming off!!! Went back Monday she redid four and told me anything after three days I would have to pay but she wasnt going to charge me anything.... The nails she redid has already popped off along with the others!!!

MY pedicure lady was very nice and did an ok Job.. The nail tech just wasnt nice or anything..She was trying to do my nails like she wanted to do..I left and didnt get my nails done

This is one of the best places in Gainesville, after trying several nail shops this is by far my favorite. I feel comfortable in. My mother loves it too.

Good place to go. Prices are average.Edit: Went again on Saturday 20th July - awful! My manicure was rushed and I couldnt make the girl understand exactly what I wanted. I had to have acrylic on one nail as it had broken the day before. It has rough edges on the sides that I had to file down myself without trying to ruin the varnish. She got the gel nail varnish on the sides of my fingers. Then to top it all their machine declined my card. Has taken me 2 days to sort my card out and the bank have just told me it is because Hip Hop Nails messed up on the machine their end my card was immediately blocked.

Wont be going to back again! Hurried job. Nail polish ridges at base of nail. They messed up using the card machine 😡, so my card was refused and I had to go get some money. Caused me issues for several days with my card until I had it cleared by the bank.

Absolutely nothing! They were 20 minutes late opening this morning 08/14/2015. The lady that did my pedicure did a rush job. My toenails were very uneven, the polish did not cover my nails, she did not buff my toenails, she messed up my nail design and did not use the hot towels. My eyebrows were sloppy, she did not put the alcohol or the oil on my eyebrows and did not make them even. She had the nerve to charge me $38.00. They are money hungry. They want quantity over quality! Terrible, terrible job today! When I told her that she messed up. She said she did good LOL! AS IF.

Staff is always accommodating and nice. Be warned it gets busy.

Went here for a fill and pedi ... the shop is runned down... with large visible rips in the leather pedicure chairs which looked as if it had not been cleaned in awhile... need I say bacteria.... and too top it all off they had other clients waiting for 40 minutes but guests were not being taken in order but at random... I decided for me this was not worth my money.... walk out ... I think so.....

I went to get my lashes dne on 5/16/16 aND a few hrs later my eyes was itching, burning, yellow thick cold started to come out the corners of my eyes I went to bed that night only to wake up Sunday morning with swollen, burning, itching eyes they was so painful so I took the lashes off it felt a Lil better but when I went to sleep that night I woke up on Monday morning eyes swollen, burning, itching, etc. Now I got Lil dry burns off skin on my eyelids almost lke carpet burn this never happen before I normally go to nail zone but went to hip hop instead these was strips she does them good but I refuse to go bck after my eyes got effected you can verify that on my fb pg shonnie Smith go look at the pics

My experience was very terrible. The lady I unfortunately had do my nails was very rude. I asked for an oval shape she failed to do so, I went to ask for another coat of glitter nail polish and she acted like it was a problem, she rolled her eyes and said later. After that she messedy thumb nail up and I didnt say anything because if she had given me another rude response I would have went off. So after a day or so the nails are already chipping so me and my sister called them and they said come in, so thats what we did & she sat there and tried telling me that I messed them up. So instead of cussing her out I just went to the waiting area then she said come back, she finally fixed them with an attitude because the owner told her too. Its just not worth going through the trouble.

I got my nails done and the gentlemen that work there named hung dinh,vo was really rude and when he.did my nails one day later while i was doing the dishes not one but three arylics popped off

The lady who did my nails was a nice lady but in less than a week my acrylics were already lifting up which is highly disappointing.
