Love them a lot I got back any time

I went here a number of times and with the exception of the first cut , the hair cuts were disappointing. The last was the worst. I will not be returning. In addition to the bad haircut, I was waiting 15 minutes beyond my scheduled time. They were not busy at the time I came in. No explanation.

Great customer service! Very good job on my hair!

I came in with a photo of what I wanted, the girl barely looked at it. Cut my hair to short in the front, the sides are not even, and did not use conditioner with the wash. Sat there pulling my hair for 20 minutes complaining that my hair tangled.

Manicures and pedicures well done and come with bonus hand and foot massage. Niiice! $57 for two hours of great work, what a steal!

This last Thursday, the day of love, was my second visit at Ivy’s Hair Salon and the second time I left feeling amazing! This trip was a last minute scramble to be presentable; which required a hair cut, style, and eyebrow wax. I’ve now had my hair cut by two stylists there now; Kim and I believe the second stylists name was Bea but I regrettably did not pay good enough attention but we chatted so much!I also want to point out that these women were quick and efficient but did not rush, they made sure that I was happy with all my services before moving on.And same as the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the rates charged at their establishment; its nice not paying an arm and a leg to look gorgeous last minute.

I have very fine, thin hair and when I find a stylist I stick with them. I had been with one gal for 9 years and she moved....I went to 2 or 3 salons, and it seem nobody knew how to deal with fine, thin hair. When I called the salon Kim was working in at the time, I told the gal, I need someone who can work with thin, fine hair....she told me she was scheduling me with Kim. I was ecstatic from my first cut with her. She did exactly as I asked her to and a few months later introduced me to a new style, which is hard to do with short, thin, fine hair. Ive been seeing Kim faithfully for 6+ years and have no plans of ever going to anyone else. She is not only very good, she listens to you, very personable and is adorable. Ive introduced my mother and a few of her friends who all love Kim and continue to come see her.Her new salon is bright and clean and has a very comfortable feel to it. If youre looking for a great stylist who listens and carries only the best products and has top notch employees, Ivys Hair Salon is your place! Trust me you wont be disappointed! I love her service.. One time she fixed my eyebrow and didnt charge me..;)Also, I had a manicure and pedicure about a month ago and it was great.. Really feel pampered here.. I love the hand and foot massage.. My manicure and pedicure last a lot longer than after going to other places so its well worth the price.. One of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time! Granted, my hair is fairly fine, straight and manageable. I mostly just get a simple layer with full bangs. Though it’s hard to mess up layering, there’s still a finesse to it. Anh did an AMAZING job. She fit me in as a walk-in and really took her time. I’ve never had someone later my bangs the way she did and it makes all the difference in how they lay. Excellent. Thank you!

This is the only place my picky teenage son will go because the ladies are nice, professional, and cut hair very good. And I love the good prices they have. I believe the mens hair cuts are $17.00 and childs hair cut is cheaper.

Being new to Washington state from the east coast I did not know of any salons, so I went online to check out some reviews. After being impressed with Ivys Salon feed back, I immediately made an appointment with Kim the salon owner. Kim was very attentive to my concerns, being the first time I ever went short in my life I was a little nervous. In the end I could not have made a better choice. Kim gave me exactly what I asked for and I LOVE it!!! Shes very talented at what she does and truly deserves every positive review on here. Needless to say I found my girl! Kim provides top quality hair services at a reasonable price. She is very skilled at working with hair color. When she gives me a 2 color hair foil, the results are always stunning and completely natural looking. It can be hard to find a really good hair stylist. Look no further . . . I love going here the staff are always welcoming and greet me with a smile. I have been going to Ivys hair salon for many years now and I believe that their service is best in class. Kim has been doing my hair regularly for almost 10 years to my great satisfaction. She gives a good cut, styles it so it stays well, and is extremely reliable. I simply never have to fuss with my hair because Kim keeps me is good shape. I highly recommend her work.

Absolutely amazing! I will never trust my hair with anyone else. Kim did my hair last year and I loved it. I made the mistake of going to another salon that destroyed my hair. I came in and Kim fixed it. And Im going back next to have her fix the color. Never again will I go anywhere else!

Kim always does the best job with my fades. Ive always used different people to cut my hair in the past searching for some place or someone that can deliver consistently. I come in every 2 weeks now to have Kim cut my hair, and I dont see that changing anytime soon...even if I move far away.

Ive switched to Ivys Hair Salon after a stylist at Great Clips messed up my cut. Been going here ever since. Never a problem and always get a spot for quick cut. Best place around for a quick hair cut. They take kids too.

Great price and great results! From the outside and size of the place i had not the highest expectations honestly but walked out so happy with everything ! Me and my gf went she wanted me to get my hair cut and bleached. So thats what i did haircut bleaching and everything then my gf got her eyebrows done and asked me to do mine too so i figured why not im in it this far so i got my eyebrows waxed as well. They gelled my hair and after all was said and done i had been there a couple hours atleast maybe closer to 3 or 4 not sure but all that work and services and i didnt even spend 100$ for the both of us was so happy i gave a 30% tip the ladies there are amazing i cannot recommend highly enough! They deserve more than 5 stars i recommend to my family and theyre really close to my apartment im going back in a couple weeks to get my roots done and recut aswell aand i have no worries that it will be a bad experience despite having many bad experience with hairdressers in the greater Seattle area since moving from north hollywood ca 2 years agoThank you to The lovely staff im the super tall guy who almost died when you waxed my eyebrows for the first time thank you guys for being so great!Tl;dr GREAT PRICES GREAT SERVICES 10 OUT OF 5 STARS 150% WOULD RECOMMEND

It wasnt terrible, but it wasnt great. Overall I guess Im satisfied, but I wouldve preferred the shampoo BEFORE the cut.

The reviews are true! Kim was patient relaxed and friendly. Explains everything and the reasons why she does it a certain way before going further so youre included. Unlike other stylists that just do what they want and maybe you get kind of what you asked for. She walked me through my cut cos I do get very nervous asking for what I want. Best affordable non fancy salon Ive been to and will def come back. Thank you Kim I love my hair now

Walked in with a picture and everything for a mohawk. Walked out with a...regular generic haircut thats almost oddly shaped? It couldve been worse but itll grow out weird. Also paid $17 for something I didnt want, if thats worth anything to you. Im not going back.

I have really thick hair and lots of it. The lady nailed my hair first time was very sweet and gave me a neck message and washed my hair better then I do. When all said and done the hair cut was only 17 bucks outa of this world for this type of service and professionalism. I am never going any where again. My wife also loves this place also and she has very thick long hair. I highly recommend this place with outa doubt

Bad experience. My first time here and I told them that but they set me up with probably one of their worst hair stylist. She cut my hair way too much as she didnt speak English and when I said I want more hair left in the front she thought I wanted more of it cut. Screwed up badly and wouldnt let me take my glasses to see how I look until she was done. Place smelled like cigarettes badly too gave me a headache. Definitely not going back.

Whoever answered the phone when I called was very rude. I messed up the name saying Lily instead of Ivy. I had thought I had the wrong number, but I checked again and called once more. I apologized for the mix up and her reply was Thats okay. Thanks a lot. Before hanging up on me.
