Mr. Nickens was at a neighbors house that needs a new roof and I told him I might need to schedule an appointment with him because I thought I might need one also. I had a place on my roof that didnt look right. He came right over with his ladder and fixed the spot and told me I was still about 5 years away from needing a roof. He didnt charge anything for his time. He also could have said I needed a new roof right away but he was very honest with me. I would highly recommend this business just by the way they conduct themselves. I am very impressed

Matt and the whole team were great. They were efficient and professional. I asked for a quote and received one swiftly. Matt came out with the quote and presented me with samples of the materials they would use and why they like/use them. He answered all my questions and even gave me tips if we went with anyone else what to look out for. He was great! We asked for multiple quotes from different companies and storm guard had the best price. Even if they hadn’t been (I was impressed with Matt and with the company) I would have gone with them anyway. They came out in the morning removed the old roof, built the new one, cleaned up, and were gone by five. One day! Storm Guard did a great job installing our roof. We had multiple quotes and they were the best all around. They always answered all of our questions and our roof was installed quickly. Attempted to contact for gutter replacement quotes. Called initially and the receptionist said she would give our information to one of the technicians and call us back, never did. A week later I called to check on status of my initial call, the lady acted like she had no idea what happened to the initial inquiry. One of the technicians ended up calling and said he would swing by our house to look at the gutters and call back with a quote. Another week went by, no follow up call about quote. Called yesterday and the receptionist, again dumbfounded, acted like she had no idea what the status of this was and would call one of the guys to see if they knew. They called back today and they had never even came out to our house. We told them not to worry about. Not professional, terrible customer service, and would never receive services from a place like this.

Overall, a very good experience. Good people. Good price. Our house roof is very steep. They did a great job, even fixing 3 problem areas. I highly recommend them-- ask for Chris Gilliam. I especially appreciated his cheerful and hard working crew.

He was there for my insurance inspection and spoke on my behalf. When it came time to put the roof on the workers showed up promptly in the morning and went straight to work. They took two layers of shingles off and replaced 10 sheets of decking. The job was complete in a day and looked amazing! They left our yard the way it was before they showed up. This company asked the question May we look at your roofing for no cost? My wife told them yes, without thinking that they would put ladders up and actually step in the valleys and walk on the roof without our permission.No. That isnt the way to do good business and cause roofing problems. We know what problems that stepping in valleys would cause on an old roof.No excuse for this type of sales pitch. This year I noticed that they were climbing up my neighbors home front when the neighbor was out of town. This company is probably causing damage or should have the police called on them.Outrageous!

Said that putting tar over exposed nails in an amateur install was good enough to fix amateur install of roof with crooked rows with nails showing and shingles upraised to appease inspection report. Shady, would not deal with this company or except any inspection repair services from them.

Stopped by right after the wind storm and told me how he would be my advocate so the insurance wouldnt rip me off. My insurance wanted to repair my damaged roof. Storm gaurd would only quote an entire roof replacement. When the insurance would go for it they didnt want my business. Apparently they only replace roofs and do not repair and I had to find someone else. Of coarse a month went by with my roof damaged trying to deal with this company.

I worked with Dave throughout the process and he brought a family style atmosphere to business dealings He was very respectful, came in to our house and sat down with us and walked us through all options that were available. Myself, I am a bit over the top when it comes to exploring options and Dave never wavered in explaining each scenario I came up with or question I had. His team came out and completed a phenomenal job. Honestly, you would have never know they came aside from the differences in the roof, they left the area that clean and free of any marks showing a roof had been completely torn off and a new one put back on. Daves team also came in and replaced our gutters for us. Again, could not tell they were there aside from the fact our patio stayed a bit drier. All in all, Storm Guard completed my parents roof as well as my own with zero qualms from either residence. It is rare these days to find a company that when they shake your hand they mean it, these guys mean it.

The folks at Storm Guard Restoration in Evansville gave me one of the most consumer friendly experiences I have ever had.First, they offered to inspect my roof for damage which they did immediately, and what they found was serious hail damage that I was totally unaware had occurred. After I filed a claim with my insurance company, they met the companys adjuster and accompanied him to the roof making sure he saw every bit of the damage. From that point they worked closely with my companys claim division to get everything I needed to get the new roof built.Yesterday, they finished the job and I can tell you it was professionally done and I am thrilled. And to think, I would not have even known that I needed a new roof had they not been willing to do that first inspection.
