This is the 1st auto repair shop that Ive been to where I truly felt like I was being taken care of by genuinely honest people. I came in with my check engine light on & had already been to one mechanic that claimed to have fixed my car- only to have the check engine light come back on plus an additional issue pop up within 5min of picking my car up, so I was already super distrustful when I walked into Town & Country Auto Repair in Eldersburg. Fortunately, Bil, the Service Manager, immediately put my mind at ease with his professionalism & overall knowledge about cars. He kept me updated on the status of my car with text/ email alerts & then sent me a full detailed Car Health Inspection that included pictures & videos, (for those of us that have zero know-how when it comes to cars & need a little extra help😉). We were very happy with our first experience with Town & Country! They did a tire rotation with our oil change and were honest enough to tell us our air conditioning was fine when we asked them to check the noise level. Their use of technology for communication & to provide the overall report was helpful!

Car broke down and had it towed to Town and Country. Found out major issues and they contacted Kia to find out work would be under warranty before even calling to tell me. No charges to me. Had towed to Kia from there. Grateful for honesty and highly recommend Town and Country for auto needs.

Ive been to lots of mechanics for my horrific 2010 Nissian Versa that CarMax screwed me over with. Town and Country in Eldersburg was great! From the first phone call to schedule an appointment to drop offto pick up, they kept me in the loop on everything and I trust them. The report when your vehicle is down with photos and an easy break down of everything that is going on was amazing. I found my new mechanic. Couldnt be happier! Even though I only had an oil change I felt like I was treated just as well as someone who drove in with a more complicated problem. My POS Nissian Versa has never had it so good! I have such respect for this business and the folks I trust with my car. I knew I needed brakes but it wasnt urgent yet. Anyone else would have forced me into replacing them before I was ready but not Adam and Bill, Rob and the rest. They took their time addressing the status of my brakes each time I went in for regular service and when it was finally time I knew well advance so I could plan for that large repair. Im from out of state visiting family when my car was dead. So dead even my horn didnt work. My daughter called here and explained the situation. Mike and his crew fit me in and were working on it first thing in the morning. I was called at every step of the way with what they found, and their recommendations. In dealing with Town and Country, I believe they did a better job in diagnostic and repair than any shop I have dealt with in my area. They showed me the failing parts they replaced when I picked up my car later in the day got me on my way. I plan to have any work done here when I visit.

Adam is very professional but also knows how to engage in a conversation to make you feel comfortable. He does not talk above you. The work which was done was a radiator replacement (leaking), light bulb replacement, diagnostic check engine light to replace sensors. Done at quote price and within a reasonable time frame. 2nd vehicle done there. So far very pleased!

Easy to get an appointment and quick turn around time. After inspection, they send this web report with pictures, comments, and recommendations. Did not pressure to complete the recommended fixes on site. Had a very good experience. Will go again.

My 2nd time bringing my diesel truck in for routine maintenance. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was not able to drop my truck off at the agreed upon time, and they were still able to perform the maintenance on the same day. Their text/email updates are just what the doctor ordered to keep you informed of the progress of the maintenance, and all results of their vehicle inspection process. I will take all my vehicles to Town and Country for maintenance. This is an add on to my last review. I was scheduled several times to get some recommended maintenance, and due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to reschedule the appointment. T&C had no issues rescheduling, and accommodated my needs. They started to perform the needed maintenance, and ran into an issue, as the truck is 14 years old. They said I would need an additional part, and it would not be available until the next day. I said do what is necessary, and at that point not expecting my truck to be done until the next day. Adam, the service manager at T&C, called back later and said they were able to remedy the situation with the existing part, and the new part, which was around $506.00 would not be needed. They were able to get my truck done that day, and I drove away a satisfied customer. So, this was the 3rd time bring my truck to T&C, and I could not be more satisfied with the service, and professionalism and friendly attitude of the staff. I want to thank Adam especially, for the prompt updates and consideration. If you need auto service, take you vehicle to Town and Country, you will not be sorry.

The service I received was friendly, fast, and seems great! Bil helped me get my car taken care and was very attentive the whole time. Jud did the service and my van is running so much better now. When I came to pick up the van, Jay helped me and was super nice. I feel like everything was priced very fair. In fact, I received pictures of what was wrong with the car before they ever did any work and pictures after they completed the work to show it was done. I really appreciated that. Bil and Jay seemed to really love working there and I think that speaks volumes of the type of people that own the shop. I am new to the area and I have definitely found my go to mechanics! Ive had 3 different cars worked on at Town and Country. Every time I have walked in to the shop I have been greeted with a smile. Jay, Bill and the mechanics are the absolute best! I am about to move out of the area but will drive the 40 minutes back to Eldersburg to have them work on my cars!

I have never been to a more open and honest shop. Having pictures taken at every step of their inspection process is reassuring. All the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and seem to love what they do. They will tell you as much or little as you want to know about your vehicle, so if you want to get into the details theyre more than happy. Their prices are competitive and they back their work with a warranty. What more can I say? These guys are the real deal.

These are an honest, competent bunch of guys. They have bent over backwards to make sure I understand exactly what my car needs, and why, and Im a guy that can take some convincing sometimes.I have had to have a car towed to their shop(which means they know that Im over a barrel and kind of need to have the work done there, or pay for another tow) and they still gave me a great rate for job. I price check everything, and at no point have I been able to find someone else willing to put in the same quality of work for a lower price.Id like to highlight a man there named Bill especially. He knows his stuff, and is a stand up guy, worked with me on a few different occasions where I had gotten myself in deep water trying to do my own repairs.They do good work at a good price, glad theyre in the area.

I love that Town and Country give you a full page detailed inspection along with photos. They rate the repairs they see needed by what is urgent and what is not. The other day my car broke down and I was right by the shop--they were closed but the mechanic who was inside was gracious enough to come out and run a code on my car to diagnose it. Very thankful he did that as my car has been acting up for about 2 weeks but was not running any codes when being checked! Thanks Bill and Town and Country!

Very friendly staff, I love dealing with Bill when I come in. These guys got my new Jeep inspected a day ahead of schedule, and fixed what it failed on so I could be driving it ASAP! Communication is the best of any shop I have dealt with. They email and immediately follow up with a phone call . I cant say enough good things about this place. Oh, and their prices are good too! They know what they are talking about and want to be sure they have happy customers. You can trust these guys!

Town and Country Auto provided what is, without a doubt, one of the most painless car repair experiences Ive ever had. They are outstanding at explaining what is wrong with the car, what needs to be done to fix it, and how much everything will cost. I am very impressed by their text message updates and with all of the photos that they take to document both what is wrong with the car and what looks good. I would (and will) recommend them to anyone.

My van doors werent working and I had trouble starting my van. It turns out that I had my doors turned off. They work fine and no problem starting now. Rob couldve charged to fix my doors but he was honest. Thank you Town and Country for having honest service writers.

We started bringing our cars to Town and Country because of the convenient location and have continued to have our cars serviced there because they are honest, have reasonable pricing, and are accommodating with appointments. I think I changed my last service appointment 3 times or so and Bill at the service desk was kind and accommodating. Technician Rob did a thorough 60,000 mile inspection and service so I should be good to go for awhile.

People you can trust!I came in as a new customer needing an oil change and for my air bag warning light to be checked out. I worked with Bill, who was wonderful! The guys ran a safety inspection of my car with recommendations that I ACTUALLY needed. Bill walked me through their report and gave me a breakdown of costs. He wasn’t pushy on spending it all at once and genuinely cared. Bill even waived the diagnostics fee for the air bag. Even though the air bag problem was a bit of a headache with a lot of back and forth with the dealer and GM, he was patient and even offered to step in if needed. When I picked up my car today, you could tell a lot of care and attention went into the work they did. I highly recommend these guys and won’t take my car anywhere else!

What a hidden gem this business is! My husbands car ran into some (potentially serious) problems late Friday evening and thanks to Google we stumbled upon Town & Country, as a possible solution.I was able to drop the car off when they opened at 8 a.m. (Saturday), and they had diagnosed the issue AND repaired it! They called me at 1:30 to let me know all was fixed and ready to go. (The car had been overheating for some time and it turned out it was a bad thermostat). Additionally, I was given a thorough run down of all that was done to diagnose it and what all was uncovered in the process (merely as educational feedback, no pushy sales pitches). We had the car back same day. Furthermore, the cost was definitely reasonable, and, I was given a heads up of (anticipated) potential costs prior to any work being done.Working in customer service, I can confidently say, I highly recommend Town & Country. Theyre welcoming, knowledgeable, communicate effectively, and speed of service was certainly above expectations for my experience. Plus, added bonus, all the work that is done on your vehicle through Town & Country, is logged into car facts (great news for anyone who may be looking to sell their own car later in life).I plan to take my own car here for future maintenance and/or troubles.

I came to Eldersburg Town and Country as a first time customer for a second opinion on a repair that my dealer had told me needed to be done right away at my service appointment about a week ago. Not only did Bil inspect this and show me that it was an unnecessary repair to do at the time, but he caught a HUGE repair that needed to be done immediately that my dealer missed. Very thankful that I came in to Town and Country, if it wasn’t for this catch, I could have had some serious repairs in the future on my car that would have been much more expensive, not to mention, could have left me without a car. When I left, not only did I feel taken care of and safe in my car, but I felt like I finally found a shop I could trust with my car. I wouldnt think of taking my cars anywhere else. I recently needed a MD State inspection on my sons 2006 jeep with modifications. The staff explained everything I needed done in detail, a few times. I went in for the first time with a coupon for an oil change. They took their time, took photos, and showed/explained everything that I need to have done in the near future. There was no pressure to get those things done here and now, instead, they told me how I can do some of the things myself, told me where I can get the best prices on other services, and advised me on what I need to consider right away as opposed to things that can wait a bit. They were not greedy or pushy in any way! As a female that has been ripped of by garages before, I left feeling like this is now my shop that I will always bring my car to!

Once again an incredible job by the team. Technicians Jud and Bill diagnosed all issues with my vehicle and completed the repairs in a very timely manner. Final cost came in under the original estimate. Staff is very friendly and shuttled me back and forth from my home even though they were very busy. Had a big scare last night with my truck. I thought my transmission was shot and I called Town and Country and they had me scheduled the next day to look at it. Knowing that this would be a pricey repair, I was dreading hearing from them to tell me what the problem was. Fortunately, it was not the transmission and was an easy fix. They could have easily taken my money for a transmission fix but they were honest and professional. Town and Country is, by far, the best in the area for car repair and services. They have made me a life long customer and I am recommending them to everyone I know.
