I noticed that I was in need of an oil change. I pass by these Take 5 oil change all the time. I heard they were very quick. So on my way to work with about 15 extra minutes to spare I decided to pull in one in Dickinson, Tx on 517W. One car in front of me I asked how long would it take them. I was told 5-10 minutes. All be damned if it didnt take but 8 minutes. Super impressed on the speed of the oil change plus they were very informative and checked all the other fluids in the process. Even better is the fact I didnt have to get out of my car. One more surprise is that everyone gets a sticker. Ty the 2 men who helped me this morning. Very professional! I paid a little more than Im use to but it was worth the extra money. If this review helps you please give me a thumbs up.

I work here so I cant be unbiased but its a fantastic establishment. My team is fantastic and we do really high quality work here. Definitely come in by if youre in need of an oil change, a coolant flush, some wiper blades, engine or cabin air filters, a vehicle inspection, or even just a fluid top off and some air in your tires. Well always great ya with a smile and a nice cold water.

Take5 is awesome. I just needed a state inspection, jiffy lube took 45 min to tell me their OBD reader wasnt working and couldnt do inspection. Take5 got me out in 5-10 min being 2nd in line for inspection.

I absolutely love them. This is my new place to take my car to get my car serviced. They are so professional and knowledgeable and I get a different person each time I go. Any questions I have they answer and if they cant they find someone who can. To be in your car while you get the oil change is just a bonus. They are awesome!

I went for a State Inspection today. The kid who looked to be no more than 12 was rude and refused to serve me. I have health issues and so I wear a mask. None of the technicians were wearing masks. The arrogant kid stuck his face inches from mine, demanded that I remove my mask and refused to serve me because I wouldnt take off my mask. Apparently Take 5 doesnt care about the health and safety of their customers and will discriminate against those to try to protect their own health.I tried multiple times to call and speak a supervisor and they wouldnt answer the phone. My calls were transferred to an answering service who called the supervisor for me and the supervisor refused to take the call.

This was the BEST experience that I have ever had having my oil changed! These guys worked together flawlessly, just like a pit crew! It was a very cold day, and they were full of smiles & humor! They explained all of my choices with zero pressure to buy anything other than what I asked for. I will definitely go back for all of my cars needs!! I would give them 10 ☆ if I could!! My wife’s car needed an oil change and I have a buddy that lives close by so I pass by a lot. they say it’s a 10 min oil change.. I didn’t time them but there’s no way it was 10min, it took maybe 7min. The manager Jeff was professional and his crew(Paul and I forgot the other gentleman’s name) were awesome with communication, they literally called out every move they made so the other team members could hear.They gave me a cold water, checked my air filter and even went out of the way to check something that had nothing to do with my oil change(my brakes)all In 7 or so minutes. Seriously these guys were great and the price wasn’t to bad either

Well as it turns out the mechanic rounded off my oil filter cap the previous time. Devon (assistant mgr) and the other mechanic resolved the issue-one of the most efficient and nicest mechanics who has worked on my car. They took care of what needed to get done and for the first time, my oil was as clear as water. Definitely would want anyone to have a great experience like i did ! so visit this location for your next oil change or maintenance!

No safety procedures in place. No employees wearing masks and didnt stay 6 away when they approached my vehicle. Would leave no stars if I could. Not safe dont believe the claims on the website, obviously customer safety is not a priority. Wasted 40 minutes going to a place I thought would be safe only to find out it wasnt.

Friendly service, but took my Toyota 4Runner to the dealership a couple of days later, for some other service, and they told me that I was leaking oil...both from oil pan drain plug and the oil filter. I was told that neither was torqued properly, which was the cause of the leaks.

You sit in the car while they do their thing. They changed my oil, and checked all the other fluids and filters.

Have always had a good experience until today. Pulled in by 6:20pm behind another truck waiting. About 5 minutes later someone came out to tell us they were currently servicing their last two cars of the day. I thought maybe they closed at 6:30, but they show they are open until 7:00. It seemed like plenty of time to service the 4 vehicles there. Possibly need to change store info on Google. Very disappointing experience.

The crew working were very efficient and professional. I would recommend Take 5 oil change to my neighbors and I will take all my cars to them in the future!

Kevin was the main guy In my bay coupons are accepted I got a good grade of oil which other places has charged me close to 100 bucks. Quick and easy. The staff are friendly and professional. I normally change my own oil but it cost about the same to have them change it for me. In addition, I don’t have to worry about disposing of waste oil and the mess from doing it myself at home. I’ll definitely be bringing my vehicles back for regular service.

Quick and friendly service. I had no wait time, was provided a free cold bottle of water, washer fluid refilled, air filter checked and oil changed in a just a few minutes. I recommend this place to anyone. Bring your own oil and theyll change it for you at a fair price. They also offer a substantial military discount (I believe its 25% off) for those who are actively serving.

Went in for an oil change today because my usual spot is closed due to covid. I love the fact I didn’t have to get out of my car to keep exposure at bay and thankful that the employee (who ended up being the manager) who corresponded with us wore a mask the entire time. Even though there was a car ahead of me the wait time was still less than any other oil change I’ve had and I got a complimentary tire pressure check and windshield wash as well! The price is more expensive than I usually pay but with the coupon and the fact they are so accommodating it was definitely worth it! Especially since you don’t have to let anyone in your car with everything going on. The workers seemed to be enjoying each other’s presence and had a jovial manner about them. The manager was extremely kind and went out of his way to explain everything!

New to Galveston county, and not knowing the area, I went to Google to find a shop to get the annual emissions inspection on my car. Even though 2 other vehicles were waiting when I arrived, an employee greeted us at the car upon arrival. He was upfront and told me the price and wait time, and offered bottled water to both my daughter and myself. They were quick and finished faster than expected. Ill definitely be back.

Sat out front waiting to be greeted(multiple signs say to stay in vehicle) parking lot was a cluster due to no one directing people what to do. When someone finally did come out I was passed by 2 vehicles that should have been behind me. I had my oil changed in other vehicle last week and it took almost an hour. I wanted to give them another chance and support a local business. But after 2 visits and back to back terrible customer service and management. Ill take my 4 vehicles somewhere else

The crew at the FM 517 location really went above and beyond for us. Kelvin was our technician but the other guys also got in and helped to make it a fun experience. Now I never thought I’d call getting an oil change a “fun” experience but these guys made it happen. I was about to go on a bit of a road trip and they went out of their way to check the other fluids and refill as well as tire air pressure and even helped me with trying to locate my wiper fluid hose that is missing and offered to try and find something that might work in the meantime. If I hadn’t needed to get going I probably would have taken them up.I’d DEFINITELY recommend these guys and be back for my next oil change.

I spotted this place due to a promotional banner that read active duty and veterans recieve 25 percent discount, they used to have a first responder discount that is no longer available as I found out when I got there. They did offer the 25 percent though. I asked if that was for veterans and they stated no thats for everyone. So Im not sure why the banner would be promoting as it did if the discount applies to every client. Its a shame to lure veterans in that manner, since I had already pulled in I opted to stay. Its a high priced oil change so ask questions to figure out if this is a spot for you.

It was like an other regular oil change. This business was professional, however not speedy. It was convenient not getting out of the car, but not when it took 30 mins.

Jacobbassisted through my entire oil change, and even brought me bottles of water for me and my daughter because it was hot, the service was quick and they were so friendly and informative. He helped us decide on which type of oil we needed and educated us instead of making us feel like we got bamboozled into getting the highest one, which we decided as a team wasnt even the best fit for my car!

I got my oil change done on 7/6/2020. Mind you, this was the VERY FIRST TIME to receive services from any take 5 location. Chris(hood), alex(pit and tires) and paul(safety and svc writer) worked on my dodge charger. I got an oil change done, replaced the air filter and topped off the air in the tires. On 7/10/2010 i noticed some smoke coming from under the hood while driving home from work and it smelled like burning oil. It was not overheating so i proceeded to make it home. When i reached, i lifted the hood and let me tell you it looked as if someone had just sprayed oil ALL under the hood of my car!!! I checked my oil and the majority of what was put in by take 5 had been spewed out. Idk if they left the old Oring gasket on or if they didnt tighten the filter all the way, but something was clearly done incorrectly! One thing for sure though, i will be back up there FIRST thing in the morning to speak to the supervisor on duty in order to rectify this problem. Needless to say, i will NOT be a returning customer. Word of advice: check their work BEFORE you leave their parking lot. Paul (on safety) shouldve been more critical in the safety aspect of the final overview..smh
