Captain Bobby took me and my two daughters out last week on a shark fishing trip. I gotta say that he knows his stuff. We had an awesome time!! He put us out over several reefs. We hooked 4 sharks in total. 3 got off but that wasnt his fault. The 4th time was the charm. I hooked an 8 foot Caribbean reef shark and the thrill of battling such a fish was amazing!! I finally got it in and we took lots of pictures. I definitely recommend taking his charter out for a good time and the fight of your life!!!

Captain Bobby is the real deal! Made our trip one for the books! We wanted to catch a shark; he gave us 3!!! We wanted action, he gave us non-stop fish catching and laughs. Captain Bobby is one of the most down to earth people you’ll ever meet. He makes you feel like more of a friend than a client. This isn’t your standard fishing charter, it’s like having a friend taking you out fishing for the day. I took two 11-year-old boys and a 19-year-old son and we loved every minute. The boys laughed with Captain Bobby and even jammed to his music. He goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. I haven’t seen my boys have that much fun in years! They were smiling from ear to ear from the time we got there to the time we left. Best trip ever! Wow! What an incredible adventure. Our familys first deep sea fishing experience and O Sea D was hands down the best choice. My son caught a 22 Trigger which Ive learned is really huge. Our captain, Captain Bobby, is the best. His knowledge and skill make the trip effortless, his joy and energy is contagious, and he has the trip set to basically a sound track. The only down side is any future trips will never hold up to the standard Captain Bobby has set. Thanks Bobby for sharing your passion with us.

This was an AMAZING trip. From the moment we got there until the moment we left it was an absolute blast. We went out with Captain Bobby and Michael for red snapper and they did not disappoint! They were friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and the boat was clean! The bean bag chairs were an absolute bonus and the boat ride was amazing. We caught so many fish and my 9 year old even hooked up with a shark which he was thrilled about. All and all I give them a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend Bobby to anyone who is looking for a good time and to catch big fish. We will be back next summer for sure!

We had the best captain I have ever fished with. Captain Bobby is awesome. He and Michael his mate were always on the spot with repairing or taking fish off our lines. We may have caught upwards to 75 fish on that trip. Nothing small. You can’t go wrong fishing with O Sea D.

One of the things lacking in many service oriented businesses today is fast and accurate communication. That is NOT the case with O Sea D charters. Captain Jeff’s and his team have excellent communication with their clients, which is imperative when weather necessitates schedule changes. Due to impending weather, our original trip was changed from Captain Jeff on Wednesday to Captain Bobby and deckhand Michael on Sunday. After a little wait for clearer weather that day, we embarked with a playlist that sets the mood for the trip. Folks with a little gray in their hair, or those younger folks like my sons with good taste in music, will appreciate the songs in the playlist. On a day when the weather was anything but cooperative, Captain Bobby put us on the fish and shared his genuine enthusiasm for what he does. Michael was spot-on attentive and was an asset to our day. The entire experience, from the boat ride to and from fishing waters, to the actual catching of the fish, will be talked about for years to come-or at least until next year when we book a trip again. Thanks again to all those involved at O-Sea-D for a very memorable trip.

Jeff with O Sea D was amazing. Weather had been bad last few days but he made sure we still got booked. We caught our limit in Spanish mackerel within 45 minutes! We tried going after a 3 tail fish but it was 1.5” short of the size. Trigger fish opened up and caught our limit of two. He knew all the spots and we caught a lot of other fish. Had a blast I would definitely recommend him and use him again!

We went out on a 5 hour charter with Jeff and would highly recommend O Sea D Fishing Charters to anyone traveling to the Destin area. I have not done a lot of fishing in the Gulf but have been fishing the Florida Keys for some 40 years so I know when someone knows their craft and Jeff is your guy. We had a group of 4 on board with 2 of them not as experienced and Jeff and his deck hand were very patient and helpful in making sure they had a good time.

Captain Jeff and his crew are top notch. We gave them a call to get out on the water and they made it a great experience for my family and I. I have 2 boys ages 8 and 4 and they enjoyed every minute of the 4 hour off shore trip we did. They made it a pleasure and very engaging and interactive experience for all of us. They knew some good spots and kept the fish biting the entire trip.

TITLED Captain Jeff wasnt even there neither was the sharks or fish.We booked a four hour shark fishing trip that was going to be around $600 plus tips. Our trip was supposed to start at 1 pm. They called us to let us know the boat came in late. So, we departed after 130 pm. LATE.We boated just past Destin Harbor near the rock jetty. We fished for about two hours with a couple of bites and one spinner shark that stayed on for about two minutes but got off. The shark was so far out you couldnt even tell it was a shark. The Spinner got off the line and that was that - NOTHING ELSE. The boat driver said the sharks werent biting and offered to take us bottom reef fishing for white Snapper and/or other types. I was confused due to wanting to shark fish. So, we drove out four miles at a very slow speed (Im assuming to eat time up). We caught one trigger fish and two extemely small fish. We told the Captain at 430 pm that we were done due to not catching anything. I asked to get half of our money back due to not catching a thing for the shark catching trip. We were told that the price would $500 !!!! - which we tipped the Captain $60 dollars. Kinda like taking hard earned money from a baby. If you are looking to catch fish - I would stay away from O Sea D. Take a party boat like the Destin Princess it Swoop. I find it highly offensive to pay $600 and see no dam shark. We even asked to get half of our money back and were told by the owner to pay $500 plus a 4% credit card usage plus tips for one expensive boat ride in a very small boat. You would think the owner would have made it up to us. Im a Google Reviewer with hundreds of reviews. I will see what happens if the owners read this. After this, I will do an addendum.

Captain Jeff and Chris did such a great job that I caught two red snapper and a huge King Mackerel within about 20minutes of our first fishing site. They should change the name of their title to a Catching charter instead of a fishing charter. The best thing that happened was that we caught a huge 10 foot Tiger Shark!!! He was a magnificent beast. Jeff and Chris were as kind and professional as they could be. The new boat was spotless and very well organized. All of Captain Jeffs equipment looks brand new because he takes such great care of it. I enjoyed my time with them so much that I wanted to buy them lunch. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!! I WILL be back!!

We took a morning charter with captains Jeff and Brad. Ive been in many fishing charters in the gulf and this was easily the best of them. We were asked what type of fish we wanted to target and hit them within minutes. Great company and employees. We will not hesitate to book with O Sea D Fishing Charters next year!

Capt. Jeff was an awesome guide and 1st mate Brad was on top of it! We had a blast catching Jack Cravelle and King Mackerel. They kept us on quality fish despite the weather and seas being less than favorable! Would highly recommend!

I had an amazing time with Captain Jeff and Mate Chris. They were fantastic guides and we got on some great fish. The water was a bit rough due to high winds but we were able to quickly catch some bait and troll for Mackerel. We went 5 for 8 and lost three to dolphin. It was a truly amazing experience and if your in the Destin Area this is the guy you have to book!!! If I could give more stars I would.

Captain Bobby was awesome! We caught lots of Red Snapper, Mutton Snapper & Trigger Fish. The music was the best as well he was a very safe driver! Definitely worth the trip! We caught a lot right off the bat!

My husband and I, along with our 6 year old son, went out it’s Captain Jeff this morning during our stay here in Destin. We were catching fish back to back! He asked for our input on what we were wanting from our trip, which was good eating fish for the freezer, and he didn’t disappoint. First he put us on some huge Kings, and then took us to another spot where we caught close to our limit of really nice size vermilion snapper.I’m an anxious mama and was a little worried about going out miles into the ocean with a kid who can’t swim well, lol, but once we got there I felt totally fine. Jeff has a huge, very nice boat, and we felt completely safe. I’d highly recommend Jeff if you’re looking for a fun day on the water. We are already planning our next trip!

Captin Nick was awesome--very funny, extremely helpful and ultimately guided us to the maximum number of red snapper fish we could take home. I would recommend anyone wanting to deep sea fish to go with O SEA D and I would absolutely go again.

Captain Bobby was awesome! He put us on King Mackerel all morning then we headed off for some Cobia. We caught a monster 30 lb, 4.5 ft Cobia and his slightly smaller 3 ft brother plus the mackerel. What a great day! His Cape Horn 31T is a fishing machine! Perfect for 4 people! Best trip I’ve ever taken and 2nd place isn’t even remotely close. We did a 6 hour trip which allowed us to fish for Mackerel and Cobia. Awesome trip!

O Sea D Charters is the only way to go in Destin. Our experience was phenomenal!!! There is a reason why Capt. Jeffs reviews are amazing on every website (and I did my research). We went out with our family, our childrens ages range from preschool to high school, and everybody had such a wonderful experience. Each of us caught fish and Capt. Jeff was extremely attentive to our needs. Our youngest, who recently turned 5, was also able to participate, and now he is hooked. I had some concerns regarding safety due to some of our kids ages, and Capt. Jeff had the proper gear to help ease any stress. We also had the opportunity to look at marine life after we fished. We were able to see several shark which was extremely exciting for all of us. I truly cant say enough about this company. Capt. Jeff and Chris were amazing, and we are already planning our next trip! I know your experience will be just as amazing, so look no further... This is the company to use!!!

Fantastic day of fishing. Jeff and Kenny did a wonderful job. They worked hard to keep us on the fish. They were respectful of our time and made sure we spent more time fishing than anything else. Kenny did a great job with my 6 year old. Absolutely would recommend without hesitation. We will be back next year.

Captain Jeff and First Mate Chris were incredible! We wanted to take our 6 year old shark fishing. We tried last year with a different charter, and didnt have any luck. This year we went with Jeff and Chris and had an amazing time! They were so accommodating for us and our energetic 6 year old! They took the time to listen and talk with our son, and answer all his questions! They were a blast to hang out with and we spent lots of time laughing! When we didnt find sharks at the first location, they moved us to a different spot and we caught an awesome 7 foot Caribbean shark! We had an amazing time and cant say enough great things about Jeff and Chris! They knew exactly what they were doing! We will absolutely come back to them next year when we are back in Destin!

Jeff was FANTASTIC! In less than ideal weather conditions, he worked incredibly hard to keep us on the fish. We caught a ton of white and mango snappers and a few red snappers. Jeff spent over an hour filleting all the fish we caught. We have enjoyed eating them the last few days. I cannot recommend O Sea D charter highly enough. I will definitely go fishing with them again in the future!

Captain Nick hooked us up!! We’ve been on many charters and I’ve never had a Captain so precise on when/how to drop and down to how many times to reel and let it sit. We snagged Mahi, Red/white snapper, sharks, triggerfish and King Mackeral. It was an absolute blast!! The trip was worth every penny and we’re looking forward to going out with Capt. Nick again next year!!

Just wrapped up our Destin vacation and the highlight, by far, was our charter with O Sea D Fishing Charter. 4 hours cost 600.00. The first hour was spent trying to catch our own bait. That really irritated me. We were willing to buy the bait but the bait boat didnt have any. There was another bait boat but the charter boats were boycotting him for some reason.

Captain Jeff was a Great captain! 20 minutes in on the king mackerel, after we all had one on to the red Snapper spot. Limited out on snappers on to the mahi-mahi after 4 or 5 on to the king mackerel again. Biggest catch of the morning. Worked the “spots” hard and marked new as we went. Many Charters under our belts and this was the best. Thanks again Jeff. Feeding our families fish all week.

Captain Chris was an Amazing guide and boat operater and had no problems putting us on fish. We limited out on red snapper in the first hour on a 4 hour trip, and caught more fish all the way up to the end.

I have only great things to say about this company. Booked our 6 hour trip two days in advance so I could take my dad fishing while in town. After booking, I immediately received and confirmation text with instructions. The boat / dock was easy to find, met our Captain Nick there and he was genuinely interested in what we wanted to do. We preferred to fish for Mahi-Mahi and Amberjack, so we made it so. We had a slow start, but came upon a grass bed and debris and ran into a large school of Mahi, we maxed out in about an hour. Was an absolute blast. My freezer is now full of fish and I have plenty to give to friends and family.Nick cleaned all the fish and was extremely helpful and professional in all aspects of his job, I highly recommend him / them without reservation.

My brothers and i were very disappointed in not catching any fish. We went out with charter captain Zach and caught a bunch of amberjack the day before our trip with Jeff. Our experience was negligent at best.save your money folks. He charges 150 an hour for this charter.

Captain Jeff had us on the fish from start to finish.🐟 We limted out on nice snappers early, then went hunting for the Mahi Mahis. 🐟We loaded up on those as well. 🐟 My son, daughter, and nephew had a blast, and my arms got tired reeling.🐟 Grandpappy and my brother were in on the action as well. 🐟We were back at the dock at 1300, with a cooler full of fish. 🐟 I highly recommend this crew.🐟 They have a brand new spacious boat with quiet 4 stroke motors.🐟

Went out with Jeff and his first mate Brad. Was a terrible trip. Went with my two brothers and a friend of ours while in Destin on vacation. The capt insisted on trolling for kings while all we wanted to do was bottom fish and catch something for dinner. I give him a one star rating based on the fact that we didnt catch ANY fish at all that day and we didnt even get to do any of the type of fishing we wanted to do. Next time ill just go on a party fishing boat---afterall they couldnt be any worse than the experience we had on the osead.
