This is our second year using Destin pontoon , and again they made our trip fantastic . Tammie was so friendly and accommodating to book with . The addition of the van to pick up worked so well and made getting to the dock so easy. Captain Jimmie and Tanya were outstanding and made our day at crab island so much fun. Destin Pontoon Charters was AWESOME! We had a group of 15….only 6 adults! They were great with the kids and thought of everything! Even dropped seashells for the kids to find! This was our favorite day in Destin! Ben and Tanya were fantastic and made sure everyone had a great day! We had 14 people on board (6 adults and 8 kids) and everyone had so much fun! We started by seeing some dolphins on the way to crab island, which the kids loved! Once in crab island, Ben and Tanya put out a lily pad and lounge floaty as well as an inflatable slide. They had a great speaker that we could play music through and Tanya took pictures of our group and shared them with us at the end of the excursion. We will definitely book them again when we come back to Destin!

Our family has been vacationing in Destin for many years and have always wanted to try the Crab Island Cruise. Today we made it happen, and our Captain that we had, Casey, was absolutely amazing. Casey honestly made what could have been a routine trip, very special for our family. She taught our daughter how to paddle board today, and actually got on the board with her to teach her the proper technique. Our daughter is still taking about it! Then on the way back Casey gave us a tour of the harbor and all the beautiful scenery. Including, continuous recommendations of great places to dine. I would give Casey 10 stars if possible! Simply put, I highly recommend asking to have her as your Captain!

We can’t say enough about our experience with Destin Pontoon Charters. Our expectations for Crab Island were exceeded from the beginning. Captain Gene and Tammie answered all of my questions and booked us with ease. The day of our trip, they even had a van to pick up our group of 10 for a bachelorette party. Captain Jimmy and Tanya took us on an 8 hour charter and it was the best day of our trip. They were SO helpful and fun, making sure we had everything we needed and more. They truly went above and beyond and we can’t recommend or thank them enough.

We had an amazing day with Jimmy and Tonya!! They had everything we needed to have fun on the water for the afternoon, including a huge floating raft, paddle boards, a slide, and ice cold waters. Tonya spent the afternoon taking fabulous pictures of our crew (which she airdropped to us) and also kept us safe, which we valued immensely after witnessing someone get caught in an outside current. I honestly can’t imagine going to Crab Island without having experienced people like Jimmy and Tonya as our leaders who knew the area, watched the weather, and made sure we had fun! We would book with them again for sure if we come back!!! This is MUST DO adventure for anyone visiting Destin!

Casey was amazing! She met us right in front and walked us to the pontoon. She was very knowledgeable cruising us around the harbor. We saw several dolphins and one we thought was one but ended up being a tiger shark that didn’t come to the surface. She made sure we were doing good and to let her know if we needed anything. She took our family pics in 2 different backgrounds and sent them to me. She was awesome and very friendly!

Sam and Matthew were awesome captains! They were so accommodating and helped our best friend have the best time on her bachelorette. They helped take photos and ensured that everyone was safe during our boat ride. They had great hospitality and made us feel very welcome. You must use Destin Pontoon charters. Perfect experience. We normally book our own pontoon, but having captain and crew is a game changer. 💯 less stress letting someone else do all the work. The water toys, lily pads, stand up paddle boards were a blast. We did a tour of the bay to start, had a blast at crab island, then snorkeled for shells, fish and hermit crabs. All topped off with a dolphin showing off for us feeding on mullet. Hire these boats and captains. Captain Benton, Rachel, and owner Gene were first class. I highly recommend Destin Pontoon Charters!! We booked originally through Trip Shock, but had to make changes throughout and Tammie was AMAZING! We had a 6 person pontoon with a slide and we went out to Crab Island for the morning from 9:30-1:30. Captain Stephen was amazing! We have my kids with us (8 and 6) who really wanted to find shells. Captain Stephen had bags of shells he hid for the kids and we all swam around and found them, my kids were so incredibly happy! We will definitely be booking with them again!

Captain Ben steered us in the right direction from dolphins to chill. Tanya took care of us and our babes. We loved the relax feel out Destin Pontoon Charters. Most importantly Captain Ben and Tanya took excellent care of us. This crew gave us water, floats, entertainment, and most importantly down to earth personalities! I’ve never had such an amazing time! There were 11 in our group, 7 of them children. Jim and Tonya took care of everything! They took care of the kids needs when they were swimming. Tonya got into the water and took pictures for all of us and airdropped them to us. As a mom that’s means a lot, we didn’t even have to get our phones out! I cannot tell you everything they did that was amazing! Teaching our kids to paddle board, the owner took the kids on a speed boat ride, reminded us to put sunscreen on. Seriously you can’t go wrong with Tonya and Jim! I wish I could just keep them the entire vacation! Love you guys! Cant wait to see u next year!

Captain Steve did not disappoint. My friends and I had so much fun on his boat. The boat was clean, spacious, had floaters, AND a sun deck at the top of the boat. THERE IS ALSO A SLIDE and we were able to bring our own liquor and play our own music. We had an amazing time at Crab Island with Capt Steve!Thanks Captain for the fun times while we were in Florida. Captain Benton and his crew were awesome. We chilled on the lily pad, played on the slide, found crabs, tried our hand at the paddle boards. This is our second trip on the boat and it was great again. We will definitely be back. Lots of prompt communication as well.

We did have a little trouble with the mechanics of our original boat we had planned to take but Captain Gene kept us in the loop the entire day and made sure to refund us the difference in boat costs. These guys are natives of the area and know everything about where and how to have fun while talking about their own experiences growing up in the area. We had Captain Stephan who was first rate. We rented our own boat That fit 15 but only 8 of us own bathroom (super super +++) good big overhead cover (my 14 year old slept some of trip due to being really tired) and 4 year old has a blast with the crew “Beat day of his life” he said! blue tooth music was great and adults on floats Sooo peaceful in the water (did 2-6pm on a Thursday). First time at crab island (and we live here) can’t imagine going with any other company since we got a first class white glove experience!
