What a fun experience this was. We had a group of small group of 5, including 2 children (5 and 9 years old) and we all had a blast. We took our pontoon boat out to the Crab Island and everyone loved it. Must do if you are in this area. After we brought the boat back even my kids noticed that he gentleman who helped us (sorry but I cant remember the name now) was very kind. Everyone helping us with the check in and an orientation was extremely nice! Recommended 150%.

Staff was super friendly and helpful going over all the details on the boat and where to go. Boat was clean and well maintained. We had a great time on the water and would definitely use this company in the future.

Great experience with S.E.A. Chase Watersports! We rented a pontoon for Crab Island and had a great time. Plenty of space onboard for a large group. The staff was also really nice and offered to inflate our floats at the dock for no extra cost, versus having the floating store on Crab Island do it for $5/per float. Our boat also came with a free paddle board! The deckhands also load the boat for you with all of your supplies/coolers, etc. Definitely bring your own Bluetooth speaker, as our particular boat didn’t have onboard speakers. They will also offer their own BT speaker if you do not have one. Our boat seemed to be well used, so if you’re looking for “luxury”, this may not be it, but the fun is still the same! Super fun time!

Great staff!! You wont find a more dedicated and helpful staff to make your watersports rental an amazing experience. You can get a boat or other watercraft from anyone. You can take it out to the same spot. But you cant get a better group to be there for you before you set sail and after you return. They even offer a free paddle board or kayak with pontoon rental. Do yourself a favor and chose S.E.A. Chase the next time you want to go out on the water.

I have never seen a crew hustle so hard! When we arrived at opening we were greeted by so many smiling faces. Multiply staff members offered to help us get our inflatables and cooler from the car. Mindy instructed us on how to drive the boat before we left and she was so sweet and incredibly helpful. What a great experience! 10% is the customary tip for the crew but their work is worthy of at least 20%!!!

We had a wonderful Memorial day weekend thanks to SEA Chase Watersports. We had a group of 11 consisting of 9 adults and 2 children. Enjoyed Crab Island and a brisk ride along the coast taking in some beautiful scenery. Looking forward to booking again!

We had a wonderful experience here! Great customer service and a fun atmosphere with workers who clearly enjoy what they do! Boat rental was ready for us on time and very clean! Was also told they would take care of everything( ex- garbage/cleaning) after we returned from our 4 hr boat ride. Even offered us help with our belongings back to the car and/or a cart to haul it back. Impressive : ) Spent most of our time on Crab Island! We had a blast! Would definately consider renting from S.E.A. Chase Watersports again!

Rented from S.E.A Chase Watersports on 7/6/21. Here’s the good and the bad. The rental process was super easy, great follow up via email and very helpful. The staff at the docks were also fantastic. Very helpful, offering to help load and unload, great instructions and really were great!We have rented several pontoons over the years from different places and the staff here was as good or better and the throw in of the kayak or paddle board is a nice touch.Unfortunately, the pontoon itself was not so great. Don’t get me wrong, There were no tears or rips, the seats were great and the cover looked new and was in great shape. It is the little things that make the difference for me.- The radio worked for about 10 minutes before it died and only 1 of the 6 speakers actually worked.- The dc charger did not work either. Not a huge deal, but with no radio or speakers we were burning up our phones playing music.- The other issue was the motor. It was only 60hp which is a bit light for the size of the pontoon, but if you don’t mind a slow leisurely cruise it’s fine. I prefer a bit more power, but it’s not a big deal. my problem was that it died on us a couple of times. We were in places that we were able to let it rest and it came back to life, but that’s never a good sign. (When I mentioned it upon our return, I was told that it happens often and then need to go out to rescue people. Glad we were not one of them, but I do expect a boat to be safe and operational. ) .Would I rent from them again, maybe, but there are so many choices in the area that I’m not sure they would be my first choice. If I did, I would bring a speaker and a battery charger and just confirm what to do if we have any problems while out on the water.Other than the little things, the boat was great, we survived the engine glitches and we had a fantastic day.

We had a blast on the pontoons at Crab Island. The pontoons were ready for us when we got there and the decks hands are super helpful and nice. They loaded and unloaded all our stuff for us and made sure we were comfortable. They also gave us a free paddle boat or kayak which the kids also enjoyed.

THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE FROM THE SO CALLED “OWNER”. Once she saw we were a group of black young millennials her demeanor towards me changed. She told us she didn’t have to rent us “her” boats. No where does it say tip is included or do you have to tip. She assumed we would not tip “her boys” and tried to add it in the total after telling me the total price. Do not do business with them. So uncalled for and nasty.Also if you want a boat with working speakers don’t rent her pontoons. I also cut my toes on the rusted corners of the boat. Don’t waste your time. Pay the extra $100 and go elsewhere.

We loved our experience with S.E.A Chase!!! The deckhands were helpful! We were able to pull down & unload the car which made the transition super easy!! Also you get your choice of a paddleboard or kayak with your rental!!! Super friendly help when I was trying to reserve our spot all the way from Oklahoma...the girl gave me her personal cell # for questions & concerns I had with booking so early in advance!! Check them out you wont be disappointed!!!

Staff was very nice and pricing seemed to be competitively reasonable. However, pontoon appeared older and not cleaned (mildew on seats and algae all over the tubes / ballasts). The engine stalled ten different times during our excursion with the gas bulb having to be primed every time to restart the engine. The stern ladder was also broken (with only two rungs) making it difficult for all passengers to climb back on board. When mgmt was asked about possible discount off original rental fee due to the condition of the boat, we were told that we could simply get another boat for the remaining two hours of rental time. We brought the boat back two hours early due to the engine issues and didn’t want to take another boat out that late in the afternoon. There was no apology for the inconvenience or acknowledgement that anything was wrong with the boat. From our observation, it appeared the quality and condition of rental boats from other vendors was better. Crab Island was fun, and we will definitely go out again…but will use a different rental company with nicer and more dependable boats.

Highly recommend this company. Very friendly, and boats preformed great. Turn key. Also, Chase helped us get everything going. He was friendly, and a huge help. He told us where to go, areas to avoid, and all pointed us in the right direction of a few good restaurants. These folks work hard. Make sure to tip them.

The staff was overly eager to assist and do everything possible to make your trip easy and enjoyable. They were definitely on their A game. Customer service was awesome. The check in process was easy and simple, communication on acquiring the boaters license was easy.

Great day at crab island! Easy to load and unload all of our things to the boat. Friendly staff, the lady working the booth told us where to find shells and my 8 year had the best time finding so many cool shells. Paddle board and Bluetooth speaker were a hit! Will definitely use this company again in the future.

First timers renting a boat - this company was so easy to work with. The ease of renting, the coordination of getting our party ready and on the pontoon and the smooth transition of exiting the pontoon was truly like a well oiled machine. Would highly recommend using this company for your water enjoyment!

From booking the pontoon boats online, to first class service upon arrival I would give Sea Chase and their staff a 5 star. They were extremely helpful! We rented 2 of the 12 person pontoons. The price was great too and the boats were in great shape. They also provided a choice of a free kayak or paddle board rental. One with each boat. They were such a great addition to our outing. Crab Island was a great area to get one the kayak and paddle board. We will definitely use Sea Chase Watersports next time we’re in town.

This is the 2nd time using this company for our trip to Crab Island and both experiences were a breeze! Booking ahead of time was very simple. Upon arrival the staff assisted and made sure our 8 hr booking was a success! Great size boat that accommodates up to 12 people and the staff is great.

Amazing staff and deck hands! Logan was the best! Not only did he load and unload everything we had, he even carried my sleeping 3 yr old off the boat for us!! I believe I tipped him a total of 3 different times....he was THAT GOOD! Check in and out was super easy. They covered all of the “need to knows” of your boat operation and safety. Boat was great. They gave us a awesome Bluetooth speaker that lasted all 8 hours. Great location. Right around the corner from crab island. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will only use them from now on.

This is one of our favorite things to do while vacationing in Destin! My kids love Crab Island and think the pontoon boats are so fun. We had a beautiful day on the water and enjoyed every minute. The staff are exceptional and very helpful. The boats are clean and in great condition. I highly recommend booking a pontoon boat for a day...you wont be disappointed!

We have rented from SEA chase twice now and have been satisfied both times. The staff are very nice and helpful and the parking is really nice as well. They provide you with a free kayak or paddle board as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with SEA chase.

Checking in and getting on the water was fast and easy. Logan and the crew loaded everything from our car to the pontoon! The safety brief was straight and to the point. A wireless speaker was provided and it made listening to our favorite beach tunes easy while cruising the bay. Highly recommend S.E.A Chase for your family boating adventure!

We rent every year from S.E.A Chase watersports, they never disappoint us. Staff is super friendly and helpful loading and unloading the boat. Chase loaded up our cars for us with all of our belongings. Which helps after you been in the sun all day and you are tired. We will continue to use them knowing the excellent service we will receive.

MAKE sure you check the weather the DAY of your rental because if bad weather hits during your rental they will NOT refund any of your money for the lost time. There are lots of options for bookings, so your chances of rescheduling are good. We had a 1/2 day rental and asked before leaving the dock if they thought the expected rain was going to be a problem and they said they didnt. We got @ 2 hours and then HAD to return to the dock it was scary and terrible weather, WE all got marine warnings on our phones and still they had no mercy. This is a costly excursion so of course you want to feel like you got your moneys worth. Not only was the weather a disappointment, the business practices were disappointing. We couldnt reschedule if we wanted to because of the lost of money.

As always....a perfect experience!!! These folks are absolutely fantastic!! Chase works his tail off to make his customers feel special! The entire staff is great!! You wl not be disappointed.

Boat was cleaned and ready for use and In good shape, easy to maneuver. Dock hands were very helpful in loading and offloading coolers and stuff. Didnt really need the paddle board when we went as it was not quite full beaching weather but we had a great time floating, beaching it and hanging out. Definitely pay the $10 to park down by the docks. I would use them again and book directly next time as I didn’t know at the time I had gone thru a booking company.

The only positive thing I can say is the staff and Chk in was great! The boats are for from new as advertised. Rusted corners sticking out of seats, torn and falling apart, frames broken and rusted, barely ran. I wont rent from them again. I’ve rented from a different place last two summers and this was by far the worst and we own a tritoon at home so are experienced boaters. I tried this place because they advertised new Bentleys. That’s not what we were In and I didn’t see a single new boat that didn’t look like it was falling apart.

Excellent people from beginning to end with service, instructions, and professionalism. Great day to just cruise & lounge as we spent time getting to know each other and view the surrounding Okaloosa Island and bay front. Boat had plenty of room & seats as well as shade for the six of us, but we couldve fit more.

My family rented a pontoon for a Friday at Crab Island. I live here and will never rent from anyone else. Sherry, Chase and their staff are amazing! they do an excellent job with the safety talk and prep for the captain. They even offer a kayak or paddle board!. We didnt have to lift a thing to load the boat. Excellent customer service!!! The pic is of my Mom and Dad. They had a BLAST!!!

My family and I rented a 24 foot pontoon that came with your choice of a paddle board or kayak. We spent 8 hours on the water and the majority of it on Crab Island! Check in was at 10 and we got there at 9:00 and was on the water before check in.The staff was SO friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and didn’t have any questions. This is an experience that will last a lifetime and an amazing way to celebrate your anniversary! ♥️ I definitely give this place 👍👍!!

We took a chance and rented a boat, my husband nor I have ever driven a boat! The guy that helped us load up gave us a quick run down on the dos and donts! I backed the boat out just like he said and off we were! It was the best experience ever... took the boat to crab island, used the anchor like the guy told us and enjoyed every minute! Left crab island and cruised around! Then on the way back in, the guys helped us dock and unload all our items! The paddle boat was a plus and we rented a kayak! Will definitely do this again and encourage everyone to rent from S.E.A Chase Watersports!!!

Employees in the office need to act like they want to be there. Played on phone and talked to themselves and avoided customers. Seats on the boat were torn, radio was broke and couldn’t use it and wasn’t given the kayak or paddle board with our rental.I’d recommend a different rental service.

Justin was awesome, he helped us load and unload all of our belongings, he made our little man feel special for his 6th birthday. He was very thorough on instructions since it was our first time driving a pontoon. The speakers didnt work so they let us borrow a portable speaker that connected the with my phone Bluetooth.**This warning is for everyone who isnt familiar with crab island or the ocean in general, if youre not a great swimmer, please wear your life vest. Because although there are shallow areas some parts are deceiving. I read that There have been many incidents before where the current will take you and its literally in a blink of an eye, we had a little scare, thank the lord all went well!! but this is a review for the company and staff were great... just wanted to give some visitors a heads up! Stay safe and enjoy.

Very disappointed in the condition of the boats. Seats was tore, flooring was tore and the radio didnt work. Also on the website it says 2019 boats the one we had was a 2017 POS.

FYI if you are renting a pontoon boat make sure you call them and ask if their boat speakers are working. We rented from Sea Chase Watersports, It is advertised that they try to keep the boats “in like new conditions”, thats why we decided to rent from them. My kids were so excited that they were downloading songs to the phone.They don’t even tell you that the speakers are broken until I asked, so the nice lady staff let us borrow her own portable speakers that only worked for about 30 minutes. It’s very disappointing that we have another 3 hr boat ride that has no music, we just sat there looking around the area. Kind of sad that we had to park beside one of the boats in crab island so we can listen to their music since we have none!Also the door won’t stay shut.Instead of getting frustrated we just had to forget about it and enjoy ourselves in the crab island. At least we know next time.Please fix your boat speakers, it’s more fun sailing with music playing.

On September 20,2020, my brother rented a pontoon for his birthday. The weather that day was bad, but we still took the risk of going. We regretted that decision, as the waves were extremely high, the boat was rocking back and forth, and the wind was so powerful that we could not get above idle speed. That wasn’t even the worst part, unfortunately. The canopy ripped off halfway and was snapping back and forth in the wind. It even hit my mother in the head! At, this point, water was coming into the boat and the waves caused it to practically fly in the air, so we turned back and headed for the dock. When we got back, Chase, who had given us directions on how to use the boat and get to Crab Island, was very apologetic, helped us to get our bags into the car, and then Rose was going to reschedule, but they were closed the next day and we were leaving on Tuesday. She called the owner, who promised that we would get a refund, minus a thirty dollar tip for Chase. She lied. Refund was never given, she harassed my brother’s three star review via TEXT, not even on google, and blocked my mother after ignoring her calls, texts, and emails. I would not recommend using this company. They have an unprofessional owner and obviously cannot be trusted. If I could, I would give a 0 star review. 😒

We used S.E.A. Chase Watersports in Destin Friday 8/10/18 and they were great! Easy to reserve a couple weeks ahead of time. I put a small deposit down and the day we got there everything was lined up for us! The deckhands were phenomenal (super cute ;) )and SO helpful! All around great experience. We even dropped some people off back at the dock mid day and went back out and they did not mind at all! Great group of folks here and competitively priced! We also got a FREE kayak for the day!! No problems at all!

Called this morning to reschedule pontoon rental due to 80% chance of rain! Told if I cancel/reschedule I would have to pay full price still. Workers reported change in weather and boats were going out! As soon as we got to crab island it poured down raining! So we are under a bridge avoiding rain! Would not recommend! They are not worried about customer safety only money!!! If I could give a zero rating it would be just that!!Response to owner:It did not clear up we spent the day under the bridge- glad to hear it was a beautiful day for you. We paid for $500 for a full day of rain and finally you win we checked out! Hope that extra money helps you. Should be ashamed of yourself!This was not our first trip to Florida nor our first trip in a pontoon. But will be the last from you! Sad when your very own staff agrees!

Our family of six rented a 24’ pontoon and took it to Crab Island for the day. Customer service was fantastic. Boat was clean but did need serviced. We were able to fix it ourselves since my guys are pretty handy and about everything, thankfully. But overall, I highly recommend.

Bad weather and canopy nearly flew off. Not the company’s fault for the bad weather, but you would think they would know if there were white caps out in the bay, making it very difficult to navigate with a pontoon. Still waiting for the refund unfortunately.Update 10/28.We still have not received our refund that was promised to us. The owner decided to text me, harassing me about my 3 star review. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. She has refused to respond to our emails. The staff is great and they are understandably confused why they were told I would get a refund, but the owner refuses to respond. Nearly $300 for a 45 minute idle speed pontoon ride in 20-25 mph winds and 3-5 ft seas is unacceptable. Please do not support this business owner.UpdateMerry Christmas and Happy New Year.... If anyone has trouble getting a refund from this horrible business owner, just dispute the charge on your CC. This owner has on multiple occasions refused to provide the service paid for and just ignores you..... Its a shame owners like Sheri continue to run a business. She has no clue about customer service. What a joke! At least I got my money back from disputing the charge through my Credit Card..... There are so many options to rent a pontoon. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My friends and I rented this past weekend and had exceptional service from both S.E.A. Chase Watersports and the dock guys. Only negative was that the blue tooth speakers on our boat did not work but I did ask about this in advance and was told by the owner that the salt water does take a toll on them to check before leaving.. we did not check because we were so busy boarding otherwise they said they would supply us with additional speakers.. our fault.. Overall wonderful service will return!

Horrible experience. Boat speakers not working as advertised boat doors falling off. The boat motor stalled twice and won’t go above idle. We’ve rented many pontoons in the past and this pontoon was not up to par. Not to mention the terrible service we’ve received. The the person we talked ”Chase” to get a portable speaker since ours didn’t work was rude. Go anywhere else but here. We had a terrible experience the whole time and were not able to enjoy ourselves.

Bad experience !!!!, we were given a boat that was not suppose to be used after the previous user damaged the motor. It worked fine at low speed, however when we left the idle water areas it would not go to an increased speed. By the time we realized there was a problem we were 2 hours into our 4 hr rental. So we decided to put up with the problem instead of wasting time returning to the dock. When we did return that is when the dock person told us that he was not suppose to send our boat out. This was a TOTAL disappointment as we did not go very far from the harbor as we were afraid the boat would totally stop. When I asked the owner for some gesture of concern for giving us a boat that was not what we expected, I was told it was my fault. No offer of a reduced fee or a discount for future rentals. There are plenty of other rental companies in the area and I would suggest you stay away from SEA Chase.

Always friendly, and take care of us. This makes about the 6th time I have rented from them and plan on continuing to use them. The equipment is top notch and so is the staff.....Very happy customer
