Had a great time! This was my first time parasailing, Jared & Travis were great. Super friendly, very laid back and relaxing adventure. Even if you don’t plan on parasailing, I recommend you still take the boat ride and watch as your family/friends fly. Had a wonderful time, and can’t wait to return and do it again. This was def out of my comfort zone, but now I feel like I’m ready to venture into bigger experiences!

My husband and I did the dolphin jet ski tour with Kyle and it was awesome! It had dolphins for me and fast water sports for my husband. A dolphin came within 6 feet of our group and it was cool to see them up close. Kyle also gave us time to race around past the no wake zone, and it was fun for my husband to scare me going 40 on the ocean. We decided to make this an annual experience and will know if my jet skis from Gilligan’s again when we come back.

Went on a dolphin jet ski tour today with my son. I was surprised to see 8 other jet skis in our group. The two hour ride started out with a 20min idle to get out on the gulf where we saw a shark. That was about the end of the tour. The next hour we spent waiting while our guide helped one of the passengers - an older couple - get back on the jet ski after it flipped in rough water. We saw two other jet skis flip in the water. All the rest of us could do was jet around waiting for them to get back on - twice. Once they got back on we headed back. We had to stop and wait once more because the couple stopped on a beach and left the trip. We had to wait yet again while the guide convinced another group to separate so they could drive that ski back in. We didnt have a chance to do any sort of tour or go to crab island due to the time lost for the above issues. It was really disappointing to say the least. When we returned there was no discussion to compensate the rest of us for the time we lost. The guide did his best with the situation at hand. UPDATE 6/13: The company was very gracious and called me after the review and offered to correct things. I appreciated their customer service.

I took my 3 oldest boys (13,10 and 8) parasailing. Being from Kansas, they had never seen it before. They had an absolute blast. Captain Travis and Kyle were very personable and professional. My kids can’t wait to come back and go again. Thanks for helping me make a great memory with my boys! I would highly recommend.

Awesome customer service, they r pretty down to earth dudes that will give u a good laugh. The price is pretty affordable. We look all over destin for a good price and gilligans has the best price on activities. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family. We went to Gilligans for parasailing, easy check-in process, but the people handling could be trained better. Also, each one in the crew has their own way of handling things or answering questions with different rules.Friendly crew, wonderful sailing experience. Safe and good instructions. You could tell them if you want to get into the water before coming back to the boat and theyll take care of it.We had a pleasant, enjoyable and fun experience. They also have new and good shape jet skis, however only downside is they wont train you and if you are new or cant handle the jet ski, they would happily refund it.

Been vacationing in Destin for over 25 years. Dealt with all kinds of rental companies, very few of them care or are willing to make lasting relationships with people. Most just want to make a buck! Gilligans is a safety first company that will actually TRY to make your water experience a great time! Had small issue with boat motor and rainy weather but Travis at Gilligans responded to my questions almost immediately! Definitely will return to Gilligans in future!

Tour guide for the 9am dolphin jet ski tour on 6/23 was not great. Started the tour by saying we would only go as fast as our slowest person and when the ski in our group was way behind, he would just keep going. We even had an incident of the jet ski tipping over and he was no where in sight to help us out at all. Not only that, we never even stopped to see dolphins anywhere or check anything out.Company did refund the money for the jet ski not working, so my rating has gone up a tad, still doesn’t change the experience but I at least would look into it in the future because the parts that went smoothly were fun.

I liked this place because it was well priced and they were taking reservations way later than the rest of the places, granted it was off-peak season there were plenty of other places that could have gotten our business but did not get our businessbecause we were on family reunionand only have a limited amount of time to get the whole family there.Thank you for taking a reservation only an hour before we had to be there and even though we only arrived 15 minutes before the boat left.Now thats great customer service dont forget to tip the boat crew.

We went parasailing today and had a great time. Booking online was easy and check in staff was very helpful. Captain Rad and crew was great as well. They explained everything along the way and made the whole experience awesome for the family. Would recommend anyone looking for great service and a fun time to check out Gilligans Watersports.

Went parasailing and had a really nice time. The crew were very friendly and helpful. It was a good choice for my first time parasailing, and we were able to book the trip on relatively short notice, which was great.

Took the jet ski tour with Luke. He asked if we wanted to see sharks!! Heck yes we want to see sharks. Jet skiing over dozens of sharks and saw several dolphins. A+ once in a lifetime experience.

This review is for Amber and the captain that was working on July 25th 2021 that set sail at 3:30pm. Me and my wife and two kids went on this parasailing trip together. My wife and I had three separate conversations asking for them not to dip me and my kid because Ill be wearing my gopro to get footage and it IS NOT waterproof and I do not want to get wet. There was no excuse for them to make the mistake of dipping us in the water. Needless to say at the end of my flight they dipped me and my kid in the water getting us wet enough for water to come up over my head and get the gopro that I was wearing on my head wet and it immediately quit working. Amber got defensive when I asked why and she insisted that they did not dip us. She got downright mean. Between losing my gopro and having to purchase software to repair the corrupt movie file from it this adventure cost me over $200 extra dollars. This was easily the worst the thing that happened on my vacation and I blame Amber and the captain from that day - AND SHE HANDLED IT EXTREMELY POORLY ON TOP OF THAT! The picture attached is right before we got dipped and the Gopro last worked.

We went parasailing today with Gilligan’s WaterSports! It was quick and simple to book our reservation with them. The instructions were easy to follow. I took my 7 year old daughter for the first time, 12 year old daughter & her best friend. The captain and crew were fantastic! My youngest was nervous and not sure about the experience, but I think the captain/deck mate made her more comfortable. She said she couldn’t wait to come back to go again! I would highly recommend them for any of the rentals/experiences they offer. Respectful, kind, and safety were top notch!

They have been so awesome. We use them every year for the last 7yrs for their pontoons boats. We were here 4/13 for parasailing for the 1st time the 2 guides made the experience amazing. We did waive runner dolphin 🐬 site seeing the guide and experience was over and beyond. We will be back in August and will definitely continue to use them. Thank you all. Ps. I was very excited doing parasailing. Which is a crazy experience. I was taken in a sailing boat into the a bit far from the shore and there I did parasailing. The persons who are guarded took very good COVID restrictions. Only thing I was a bit discomfort is people sitting very next to one another in this COVID.

We rented a pontoon boat from here . Check in was way more complicated than it needed to be .There also is a 40 step descent get to the docks . Once you descend they dont allow you to put your coolers and other stuff on the boat until they pull it around to the end of the dock. Seems silly . Why carry it another 40 feet if you can throw it on your boat.The price of pontoon boat was cheaper than most of the other places in town . Might have to do with the interiors of the boat being ripped up .

Found this on Groupon and glad I did. Kids loved this place. My husband, niece and son had a great time. Well worth the $30 for the photos and the $20 tip for the guys. My family will remember this first experience forever. Thanks so much to Gilligan’s!

I am beyond disappointed with this company, really really bad customer service. I purchased 2 dolphin jetski tour for me and my friends the day of the tour but I got food poisoning so I couldn’t make it. I ended up going to the urgent care because I was really sick, was throwing up crazy and diarrhea chills and fever. I called 2 hours before the tour to cancel or just ask for a voucher for my tour which is $120 plus tax for future use and they told me they can’t issue a refund or voucher bc it’s after the 24 hour cancellation policy. I mean I was really sick they should have at least have an exception for a valid medical emergency situations. I even had a doctors note. I spoke with the manager and he said he couldn’t do nothing its in their 24 hour cancellation policy. All I wanted is a voucher but he insists it’s against their 24 hr cancellation policy. I understand it’s business but for medical emergency they should at least consider it and not just take money without giving the service.I asked politely but the manager was starting to get irritated so I just said I’m just gonna put a bad review on your website and guess what he said.!?Its up to you, you can put a bad review but I will just removed it! Now that’s really a bad customer service! Do not support this company! I am telling all my friends and their friends not to ever dealWith this company when they go to Destin!

Booked the entire boat for parasailing. Showed up 3 minutes late for 3:30 appt to be told we should’ve been there at 3 for our 3:30 appt. Called in advance and was told it’s ok. Upon arriving was told we were too late and boat is gone. We were only people on the entire boat so take 3 min off our trip time or refund us. Instead, we were chastised by the staff. Do NOT support this company.

Went on a pontoon not too long ago and had a blast! The dock hands Connor and Jared were very helpful, loaded our bags/coolers, and explained everything we needed to know about Crab Island. Such great attitudes and customer service. 10/10 recommend. We do wish the boat was a little bit nicer as a couple cup holders seemed to be missing but overall great experience!

We scheduled a boat rental from Gilligans 3 days in advance. We received a call early in the morning the day of our rental trying to get us to reschedule. When we arrived at Gilligans the girl at the front counter complained that we were the only boat rental for the day and now they were going to have to work until 6pm. Half way through our 8hr rental we received another call telling us the weather was getting too bad and we needed to bring the boat back in. I suspect they just wanted to get off early because the sun was shining where we were. I have used Gilligans for the past 5 years everytime Im in Destin. I will NEVER use Gilligans again and I urge everyone to avoid them if this is the level of customer service they are going to offer. We did the parasailing with them and had a great experience! Crew team was friendly, humor and helpful. We had 12 guests(6 couples) in one boat and each couple got fly about 3-5 minutes. The view was amazing! They have a photo or video package for $33(available on board), most people bought the package, good memory! 10/10 would recommend this tour!

Amazing experience! Captain and Assistant were cool, calm, and collected with very easy instructions. Also, very professional and kept a safe environment throughout the whole experience.
