ECVR is AMAZING!!! I own a beach house on 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and they have been managing for me since the get go. Justin (my PM) is fantastic. There isnt anything that does not get handled promptly, completely, and with the utmost of integrity. Its literally automatic with these guys. In addition, they have a great pulse on the market. Over the past two years, even through the pandemic - they have been able to provide our guests with more dynamic rental opportunities to suit their needs. Whether that be longer term rentals in winter months, or weekend only vs weekly rates, etc. - they have maximized my return on investment while at the same time providing more flexibility to our guests. My house is booked almost every single day of the week through all seasons. I literally cannot say enough about Justin and the team at ECVR - they are simply the best.

Upon entering the home we walked around like anyone would and quickly saw dust and many sizeable bugs laying around that appeared to have been there for some time. See pictures attached. We understand that a bug or 2 could be laying around but there were more than just a couple and they were in plain site. It was as if no one had cleaned or cleaned recently.We also upon our tour noticed that the outdoor furniture was minimal and in bad shape for the most part. Our front deck did not have any furniture to sit on. Our top deck facing the inlet had very little furniture to sit on and what was available was in very bad disrepair. The same went for the main deck and pool area; furniture was limited or in very bad shape. There was no umbrella outside.Those staying on the main floor of the house also brought to my attention that their front doors in both rooms were not able to be locked. They had to wire tie the locks shut to give us limited protection. Our items were at risk as just about anyone could have opened these doors up.The largest issue that we found was the overall dust. 7 out of 13 of our family members had allergies act up while we were there. We are not sure if there is a mold problem or just the dust alone. We immediately located the filters in the house only to find that they were covered. It was very clear they have not been changed for sometime so we found new filters and changed them. We believe this helped slightly as some began to feel better. Fans around the house also were dust covered.We asked the vacation company for a sizeable refund for all the above issues and were offered a 15% discount to stay again. What an insult for how we were treated. I would suggest reading all the reviews before making a booking.

First of all I just want to say I will never book with this company. Their staff is very rude and unprofessional, a person named Andrew refused to give me a refund for $335 that I was charged for by mistake for a room I never booked, after I took my time to investigate the situation and explain I was charged by mistake he rudely told me I was not going to get refunded and that I was lying about the situation. I am a mother of a toddler and a newborn that is the last thing I have time for.

Upon entering the house there were dead bugs on the floor, holes in the walls, broken remote controls and tvs that did not work. The freezer NEVER got cold enough to keep our ice cream frozen, the coffee pot leaked all over the sink, more bugs dead and alive, OLD pot and dishes that were cracked and chipped and all your food got stuck to them. No front porch furniture and not enough seating in the living area to host over 5 people! You can tell there is absolutely NO proper maintenance on this property

We stayed at Twin Palms for the week. Our friends got married on the beach and we stayed for Thunder Beach. The room was very clean and very well furnished. The staff was constantly keeping the sand swept and clean in the elevators and common areas. There were some workers and they too were very kind and friendly. We will definitely book here again. I left a personal item in the room and they were very prompt to respond to me and get it returned. That is some of the best service that I have had in a very long time. The recent renovations did not go unnoticed. Great Job!! Thank you Emeral Cost for making our stay wonderful.

We stayed at Joy Happens.We had a great family vacation, however, there was many unsatisfactory concerns.The house could have been cleaner. Much cleaner. It was rather dirty. In fact there was garbage in drawers and under furniture from past visitors.Also, pest control needs to be a concern. A family member was bitten by some type of bug in the house and her foot became inflamed and was oozing pus.Although it was a great location and home, I would not stay there again.

The accomadtions were GREAT! The only negative was with Exporie incentives for golf. Dont let that be reason you use Emerald Coast. One closed course, we discovered after arriving for our tee time. One overcharge that Explorie said they are mailing a reimbursement check to me. Both of those could have been easily avoided.

We love renting from ECVR! They are always accommodating, have the best rates in town, and their amenities cannot be beat. Thank you to the ECVR crew for helping to make our vacation absolutely amazing!

Leased Aegean condo unit 204 in early June. Loved location, layout, etc., but the air conditioning was poor at best. Had to buy floor fans to Try cool Unit. We thought the A/C issues justified a rebate but the rep at Emerald Coast declined our request! Will book at Aegean again but not through Emerald Coast!

I agree with many of the other reviews on here about this company. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. My husband and I recently tried to book a trip using them and it was a HORRIBLE experience. I received an email from them confirming our stay and then one week prior to departure I received an email saying that our trip had been cancelled. They sent no explanation to us. I had to contact them to see what was going on. The customer service was terrible and they were very rude and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend using them to book a trip with.

SEASCAPE BUILDING 159 23B DO NOT RENT!!Absolutely horrible experience. In regards to this unit I am extremely disappointed. I have never seen such false advertisement in all the years I’ve been renting through vrbo or any other condo including Seascape that I’ve stayed at in over 15 years coming to Destin. On top of the fact of the current situation involving COVID 19 you expect people to use the same washer and dryer!? Absolutely nothing in your description of this unit says anything about a “communal” washer and dryer. Clearly on the amenity page is shows washer and dryer. What’s even more absurd is the fact I paid for what I thought would be a great unit for my family and my son to come down and compete in the Little League Baseball World travel Tournament to find out I now have to pay to have my laundry done! What a joke.All of these are facts! On top the fact that now I have to wonder who else uses these machines and if they have any Health issues related to the virus going around. As a father, that’s something I don’t want to have to worry about for my 10 and 6 year old children on what’s supposed to be a vacation!I’m attaching a picture to show you how this unit says nothing about a “communal washer and dryer” or that you have to pay for the service after already paying for the condo. There is nothing and I mean absolutely nothing that states the washer and dryer are “communal” or that they are not in the condo period. After I made a call to the local number they proceeded to tell me it was a an error on there part and it should have be more clear on Vrbo and want to offer me 20 dollars for the cost of laundry... $2 to wash $1.50 to dry and I’m on vacation for 9 nights with a son playing baseball... I don’t think that’s even enough to get the dirt out of his uniforms for the week. MONEY IS NOT THE ISSUE ITS THE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT THATS THE ISSUE PERIOD!!! I even offered to pay a little more if they had another unit available I’m the area and I was told they had nothing.

My family and friends of my family have been using ECVR for YEARS! They are always polite and courteous and willing to help out.

I had booked with this company for the first week in May, but due the the Covid crisis was unable to go. The staff was very nice and professional and refunded my money in full with no hassle at all.

My wife and I rented emerald waters 204 for our honeymoon the the second week of June 2016. We had a wonderful experience! The condo was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It is located convenient to the beach, just a two minute walk, and close to all that Destin has to offer. We will be back again!Richard and Kim JordanBrandenburg, KY

I have NOTHING positive to say about unit 403 Destin on the Gulf except for the view of the ocean!!!1. INFESTED with Roaches! They were everywhere! Maintenance simply used a $8 can of Raid from Lowe’s and it did nothing!2. The furniture was a total joke!!! The guest bedroom was as though you were sleeping on a mattress box spring coils! Woke up everyday with back hurting!! Master bedroom bed was just as bad!3. They advertise this as the luxury of home which is totally FALSE and sure hope no one would consider this true!4. The COUCH is simply a PATIO set with 3” cushions! Overall would have been the same as sleeping on the floor!5. It was absolutely NASTY!6. I would be absolutely EMBARRASSED if this was MY UNIT!!7. PICK a different complex all together because Emerald Coast Vacation Rental simply doesn’t care and we’re very rude when complaints were made!!!!!!!

To give this company one star is a gift. We booked our rental through VRBO and learned on arrival that the property was managed by Emerald Coast Vacation Rentals and Sales. The home had a broken on the side entrance, was dirty on the inside, had a leaking roof, had mold growing on the large wooden beam upstairs, and had the bare minimum of what one would expect in a rental (in terms of cooking utensils, dishes, etc.) When I called to have the house cleaned, they indicated someone would be right out. After waiting 1.5 hours I finally called them back to find out no one would be there until the next morning. I vacuumed the upstairs and the bathroom I was using (see photo) to get by. The attached photo shows how full the vacuum was after me completing those two areas. That first night a strong came through, exposing the leaking roof. Again, I called right away and while they did someone out to inspect, the roof was never fixed while we were there. While sitting at the kitchen table we noticed water drops falling on us. When we looked up we saw the black mold growing on the wooden beam.If you have a home to rent out on 30A, please do not use this company, you will not get what you are paying for. You will have disappointed renters.

My family and I have been staying with ECVR for 15+ years. They have always been very personable, reliable, and super friendly! If there has ever been an issue they have been on top of addressing the issue and solving it in a timely manner! We travel with several other families and they have always made booking several condos a breeze for us. We also take full advantage of the amenities package! Who doesn’t love free golf every single day or a free dolphin cruise (plus so much more)! I would recommend booking through ECVR to anyone looking for a great vacation in the Destin/30A area :)

Very poor customer service. Very difficult to work with. Do not use them. Do not trust them. Read all the horrible ratings here and believe them. There is a reason why folks scored them so low. Don’t be fooled.

Amazing company, great staff! Unit was clean and company was very responsive.

Do not use this company! The condo we rented was pretty pathetic. I have slept on a floor more comfortable than the bed. We had an emergency plumbing issue where our bathrooms would not drain any water. We called their emergency hotline only to be told they will call a plumber when they open the next day. Leaving us without sinks or bathtubs. This is a joke of a company. And the plumbers never did come so we didn’t have a sink that would drain for the remainder of the trip.

What a wonderful group it was our first time to use Emerald Coast but wont be our last ! Excellent rates, amenities and service beyond our expectations. We had a tiny issue in our unit , I called and the most polite maintenance tech was there immediately ! Our amenity card had so many offerings our family couldnt use them all . Great group , excellent communication and service !

Emerald Coast is a terrible company that cannot be trusted...Our family booked a trip at one of the properties operated by Emerald Coast Vacation Rentals & Sales. We had a confirmation number and even called to make sure it was ok to book from Wednesday-Wednesday. We did everything in our power to make sure we were not going to have problems being that we knew it was an odd vacation plan to travel from Wednesday to Wednesday. But our work schedules dictated this.After calling to verify it was ok and also the online availability showing it was acceptable, we went ahead and booked our stay. We received a confirmation number and a followup email confirming our stay was booked. At that point, we went ahead and purchased flights for 6 people for those dates.To make matters worse, we had a death in the family take place the night of us booking our trip. The reason I bring this up is because Emerald Coast Vacation Rentals emailed us back the next day asking if we could move our dates because they will not honor those dates of arrival and departure and that if we could not move our dates that they would cancel our confirmation.We did not check emails for a few days as we were dealing with the loss of a loved one.When I emailed Emerald Coast Rentals back 4 days later explaining that we had a confirmation number and that we already booked out flights, they stated that there is nothing they can do and that I did not respond to them in a timely manner after they reached out to me the day after receiving our confirmation number.They tried throwing it back on me as if we did something wrong here. They went ahead and cancelled our stay and left us scrambling to try to find another place to stay at.I will never go through this company again after seeing how they dropped us as if we were nobody to them. A confirmation number does not mean anything either I take it when you deal with this company.

I tried to book with them for Spring Break and it was a horrible experience. They were not very helpful and rude. We booked with them through Home Away and the property that they had marked as available ended up actually not being available. This would have been fine, but they failed to decline the reservation so the money was never put back into my bank account. I ended up having to go through Home Away to sort everything out and it took 3 days to get the money back into my account! Overall bad experience.

Bad experience.We booked a condo through them for a week in Destin, St Maartens Silver Shells.After driving all day and checking in at 6 pm we found the condo completely dirty with dirty linens piled on the floor. It turns out it hasnt been cleaned.The next day we found out the stove was not working properly. Also found out we could not book any activities in the package because they forgot to add us. This our day one so dont know what else to expect.No one answers their after hours phone line.I would not book through them again and will recommend my friends not to.
