Bc i have lived here for 9 years now and I have spoke with the property manager today. And we are going to try and work together to resolve the issues. The Groundskeeper is so awesome !

After failing communications with the property manager at Bent Creek apartments in McKinney, who told me I could not get in touch with highmark, I circumvented her and did. What a disappointment. We had to end our lease and agreed to pay it out. They decided despite someone moving in, to charge us future rent for several months(despite us giving a 60 day notice to vacate in advance). We would really like for some of our in good faith and our deposit returned, highmark. You cant charge two parties rent for the same dwelling. I would prefer not to litigate.

My wife & I have signed our 6th lease at Camri Green Apts. In Jacksonville, Fl., at the beginning of this year 2021. We knew the property was under a new management company & ownership, but the existing manager & office staff (from WRH Reality, owned by Vestcor property) were remaining on with Highmark Residential. This gave us comfort, even though the reviews we read were unfavorable. My wife who has 18 years experience in Leasing & as a manager of properties in Jacksonville, FL., knows what can happen to existing employees that stay on with a new management company. Shes experienced it before. This is the first review we have ever written about this property or the management company, in all the years weve been here. Unfortunately, on a Thursday in April, we were told by the Manager Lisa that her last day with this company would be the following day. Her & the Asst. Mgr. were returning to WHR Reality. The only person remaining with Highmark who worked for WHR was the Maintenance Supv. It only took two weeks from their departure for us to learn what we may expect from Highmark. On Sunday, May 9, 2021, ( Mothers Day) I took my grandchildren to the pool. Much to my surprise & dismay, I saw its lack of maintenance & we pulled metal rods from inside the pool floor that could have severely injured a resident or child in the pool. On Friday, May 14, the swimming pool was literally green, disgusting & unsafe, but open to the residents. In all our years on this property, we have never seen the pool unmaintained & the previous managers had pride in how it looked. Within the last two years the pool was totally resurfaced, retiled & overhauled. We went into the office & met the new Mgr. Catherine shortly after leaving the pool area. After our meeting, we agreed to give her the opportunity to rectify the pool issues by closing it, locking the gates & getting the pool cleaned & properly treated chemically. As a Lic. Water Treatment Plant Operator (Class B) in Fl.,(retired/disabled) I would have been negligent if I didnt report it & offer some advice. We also discussed the bathrooms being closed on the weekends, when the pool is open, parking violations that are now taking place regularly ( no respect for Handicap Parking). Im handicapped, along with 3 other people in our building & there is limited parking for us to begin with. Garbage over flowing & dumped on the side walk outside the dumpster, because there is no room left in the dumpster. The dumpster is located at the only entrance or exit of this property. Its disgusting & the smell will knock you out. Over a week passed before we reached out to corporate, only to find out that the Regional Manager April Hudson was difficult to reach & passed the call back to Catherine. Finally, I spoke with April & I was told a pool company had been hired & she would speak with Catherine about the parking. Today, Sunday, June 6, the pool water has chemicals, but the bottom of the pool has green slime in certain areas. I wonder what pool company did the work? The trash is beyond disgusting at the dumpster, parking is a joke & now we have a new issue. The lights in the office building are all off. The gym & laundry room are in that building. I dont feel safe going to check if the gym or laundry are open or closed ,since its totally dark, no lights at all. Just begging for someone to break into the office or something happening to a resident needlessly. This place is not Camri Green anymore & I truly wish the owners knew what is going on here. So, welcome to the New Camri Green Apts., see our trash as you drive in & wild life feeding at night & enjoy our lovely pool with slime on the bottom of it. Also, see how our residents leave the Publix shopping carts on the property. If Highmark showed true photos of this property now online, people would stay away even though its a Tax Credit Property. I’ve never worked for a company that cares and treats their employees like family. I’ve worked for Highmark 6 years and have been blessed to be surrounded by loving people. I didn’t have experience in this industry but yet was given the opportunity as a leasing agent and am now a Community Director. Highmark also cares about their residents but sometimes people don’t get what they want and automatically start bad mouthing the property. Highmark thank you for all the love and so happy to be a part of your family.

Highmark Residential is known for their unethical treatment of tenants within their lower quality housing products. You will be sent a bill upon move out and then will receive a settlement notice immediately afterwards. This is because selling assumed debt is an integral part of their business model; i.e. their billing structure is intentionally misleading and ambiguous so that victims are coerced into “settling” a debt they are not liable for.

I do not recommend to anyone especially if you are relocating from out of state. I have been in contact with Landmark at Bella Vista complex in Duluth, GA since February. I was told I was pre approved. I provide all of the documents and I was told I was approved by Mrs. Glass and given a move in date on April 7th. I got a call on April 6th saying she didn’t have my rent verification and I couldn’t move in without it. Finally at 5pm on the 6th, She told my application is being denied because I didn’t pay rent on time for 5 months. And this was due to COVID. I told Mrs. Glass this and she still tried to find a reason to deny. I already transferred my job and had my stuff in my uhaul.

I do not recommend conducting business with Milestone Management. I was a resident at Champions Park in Houston, TX for approximately one year. I recently moved from this Texas back in June 2018 and here it is November 23, 2018 and I have not received a refund for my deposit. I have called numerous times to the leasing office and i would get the run around with the agents. I was fed up and decided to go directly to corporate to resolve my issue. I talked with Kyle Brown in regards to my issue due to he is over the district for my previous complex. He looked into my issue and told me the refund check for my deposit was mailed back in October 2018 but i have not received anything in the mail. We both confirmed my address on file and asked me to call back on November 19, 2018 if i dont receive the check via mail . No coincidence that i did not receive the check on 11/19/2018. I called Kyle Brown numerous times and left voice mails to go ahead to cut another check for my deposit refund. Kyle Brown has yet to return my call. Every time i receive the message that they have stepped away from the office. I have literally called from 11/19 - 11/22/2018 and no one has answered. Now, if i owed this business a balance i would have been sent over to collections but since Im a former customer who has not received his hard earned money in a timely fashion. Now, i have to resort to calling multiple times and writing negative reviews for my issue to become resolved. I repeat DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS with this business because they do not value customers service. Happy Holidays All!!

Not perfect, but not the worst. It is difficult where to place expectation and standards but for the most part, the staff never beat around the bush. Straight forward and honest answers when I had very honest hard questions. Maintenance worked the weekend and often showed a sense of pride. Its hard to find to good help these days. I dont expect 5 star hotel like services, just a roof over my head and the basic functions of an apt like ac/heater and electricity.With the new acquisition of Post Oak apartment that took place a year ago or so, I now have a better understanding of where to place reasonable expectations and how to better hold property managers accountable. I hope to find myself living on Milestone Management property here in the future. Id give them 3 1/2 stars if possible.

I lived in lake village west apartments and had issues with maintenance, but I didn’t complain too much I just called the front and asked politely. I moved out about a year and a half ago and I made sure I was paid and good and didn’t owe anything. Even asked the front desk if I was clear.. yes I’m clear to go. I get a check a month or two Months after I move out for 290 or 300 from milestone corporate saying I over paid. Here recently I go to buy a vehicle and my credit is lower than what it should be because I was sent to collections from the apartments... I called 5 times no answer I then get ahold of someone and then put on hold for Jan the manager. I speak to her and she told me I owe 208.90, they sent me to collections because I didn’t pay it. I didn’t even get a letter in the mail or a call to tell me I needed to pay something. Even if why did corporate tell me I over paid???? Just called and settled my “debt” and called Jan back and told her I was still irritated she failed to tell me I owed and how I owed if corporate sent me a check.... she then hung up on me.

These people in the office are rude. Except for one young lady. They are captilzng off of the extra fees that are added on to your rent each month that can go over fifty to one hundred dollars a month. If you want something affordable this is not the place. If you do not mind fluctuating rent that include about six different things than this is it. Good luck.

Run, run, run! We just moved in at The Ellis in Carrollton TX. We have had nothing but problems and just moved in. They do not care about people!! Why would u work in apartment management and be so inconsiderate?? Today, I simply asked if they could have maintenance attach my husbands shower head because he needs handicap accommodations. I would do it myself but dont want to damage theirs. Alyssasaid she didnt think maintenance would do it and they wouldnt want the liability if they damaged our shower head and compared it to mounting a TV!!? Really?! Its a $30 shower head. I will sign a waiver. Ridiculous!! She said she would ask but couldnt make any promises. I told her I came from some apartments where they actually care about their residents.After all of these reviews why waste my time contacting corporate? It sounds like they are also uncaring. Hoping I dont have to deal with the office very much. Maybe I should call a news station and let the office explain to them why they wont make reasonable accommodation s for someone who is handicap.

Worst experience. I had a theft while living here. I doubt there was an insider conspiracy since I was switching apartment in the same community. Apart from that the office staff is rude and does not care if you are human. They behave and act like robots and perform rituals by there rent agreement, which they themselves do not know what is written.They will say anything they want even without knowing what the agreement mentions. I suggest anyone just dont go by the price. Once you are in then you have to be like what they say. Again RUDE STAFF !!

Very unprofessional unaccomodating unpleasant company.. Ive complained about residents to the residents office.. resident office staff to the regional manager.. and the regional manager to the corporate office... if you wish to know more, feel free to check out my review for their Residence of North Dallas apartments.. THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.. Ive lived in 3 other apartment complexes in the last 10 years and I have never had such an unpleasant experience.. To avoid being me in the future, run and run quick, do not pass go and do not collect $100... not worth the nightmare..

I lived in the same apartment complex for 10 years straight . Since Milestone has bought the apartments the rent has skyrocketed and they have proven the that they could care less about the individuals who stay in their homes! This is a corporation that lacks a heart and wont even call their Tennants back when there is an issue. I will not be renewing my lease nor will I ever rent from Milestone ever again in the future!

Stillwater apartments - Murray, Utah.Im very disappointed in the way milestone management has managed this property. Ive sent multiple pictures to office staff in regards to the many lights that arent working. Finally, myBoyfriend and I took it upon ourselves to replace some of the lights near our vehicles (vehicles have been broken into here, so it is a valid concern) also, there is an abandoned store behind us that was once a sports authority, making it even darker. Whenever we have a maintenance concern, it usually takes at least two calls, two emails, a visit to the office and sometimes weeks to have our concerns addressed. We recently had a wasp nest beneath our stairs, two emails, a phone call and a trip to the office later, the maintenance staff informed us they were out of wasp spray, and sprayed them with ant and roach spray. Needless to say, it wasnt very effective. We are constantly having to run up and down our stairs to avoid being stung, so we bought our own spray and took care of it. Ive also complained about the spiders (one of the monthly fees is pest control) theyve never once entered our apartment when Ive complained. So we bought our own pest spray, and spray inside and out. The air filters they put in, do not fit the AC unit properly, leaving a large gap.. So we also purchase that ourselves. Management is very frustrating, and maybe its a lack of staff, pay, or a combination of all. I will say, they did replace our dishwasher with a new one. That was nice. But it took several calls, and complaints before it was executed. Also, watch out for the overflowing garbage, and dirty mattresses that random people leave by the trash cans. I cant say this comes from residents, because Ive seen random people drop off truck loads of garbage that dont live there. I wont even walk my dogs near the garbage cans anymore, because I dont want anything tracked into my apartment. Maybe milestone should add more trash cans, and some signs? Maybe security cameras? Definitely more lights though. But they should make it a little harder for people to leave mattresses lying around. Theres a different mattress in the garbage can at least once a week. If homes werent so ridiculously priced, wed own a home by now, unfortunately this is what we can afford. Its just unfortunate that we have to do everything ourselves. And than the rent will still go up.

Slumlords. I had mold in my apartment all but one month that I lived in their Grand Arbor Reserve Apt complex off Wycliff Rd in Raleigh NC. If they rent the apt 2423 Wycliff Rd to you becareful there is mold in the venhilation ducts.

This has been the worst experience of my life.Everything was great until about two months before I intended to move out. I sent in my vacate notice via email to every address I had for the community (I work three jobs and can very rarely make it into the office). Two days later, when I hadnt heard anything back, I called the office to see if I could drop off a written notice after hours or get an email that would actually be checked. I was told that it had been received and I didnt need to do anything else. Cool. Fast forward to this month. I was scheduled to move out on January 13th. When rent comes due, I see that they have charged me for the whole month. When I try to contact the office, nobody is able to answer my questions about why I am being charged for the whole month or who I could talk to in order to fix it. After two days of talking to every single person I could, someone finally looks into it and sees that the notice was never filed in their system. Wonderful. So then they made me backdate every email I had ever sent and forward them copies. They then refuse to honor my original move-out date (even though I had logs of emails and phone calls- some of which had responses but many of which did not), but decide to cut me a break and let me leave on Feb. 1. Then, I get a nasty note taped to my door talking about how I was being charged $100 for letting my renters insurance lapse. It was dated four months ago. My renters insurance is STILL up to date and has not lapsed. Again, nobody will get in touch with me about this. Needless to say, Im not happy and I will never live in a Milestone property again. I cannot wait to get out of this place.Also, the parking situation is God awful. The dumpsters are nearly always overflowing. There is dog poo all over the grass. The pool looks like it carries diseases. Generally, nothing is well taken care of. Woods of Bedford, yall are really sub-par.

Im in the Peachtree City area and I must say that Ive had the worst first and second impression of the property manager at my location. She was unaccommodating, unprofessional and down right rude on occasions. My expectation was that I move into a clean apartment and any issues that exist be addressed and resolved. From a missing appliance to having to literally plead with the property manager as to why the apartment needed to be properly cleaned and presentable, my experience with the person in charge/the property manager/the person who at the very minimum needs to have some people/customer service skills, has left me unsatisfied and disappointed.

Hi we made a complaint at the apartments Preston Greens and they havent fixed it. The complaint was about the A/C. We called the number we were supposed to in case we need a service, we called yesterday around 6 p.m and no one came we called again this morning at 10 a.m and the manager told us they were going to come and fix it right away and as in right now they havent come!! The apartment is super hot and we need someone to come and fix it, because is URGENT! Can We trust that someone can come in less than an hour because we have a 3 year old staying with us!!!

I have been living at one of Milestone Apartment (Preston Greens) for about 8 years and its very upsetting and rude to say the least that i cannot get a call back from Milestone management to discuss my lease term information. I have called in the past also for a problem, and that phone call was never returned.I am requesting that the representative for Preston Greens apartment return this residents phone call out of respect for the resident. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN FROM THIS APARTMENT/MANAGEMENT !!! Its not worth all the struggles you might have to face further from the day1 of your visit to this apartment. Eventhough the school is good and you will find more of your fellow mates over here its not worth the pains you have to go through under this new Milestone management. Things were not this worse before I guess with earlier management.Unfair and fraudulent move out charges have been charged on our apartment unit even without doing a move out inspection when we were residing. We had been residing in their unit for about 2+ years and we had complained about the quality of carpets and other interiors which were of very low quality which were sure susceptible for damages. I had raised this as many internal tickets in their portal when we were residing there but those were never addressed and sometime back they asked me to rent out an upgraded unit by paying up more rent if need be !!!Here are some facts I would like to highlight which might helps someone else while looking to lease their units :1. First thing is they didnt do any kind of move out inspection when we were living there and when we gave the intent to move out notice.2. We were made to lease this unit way back in Jul 2014 without even getting chance to look into this apartment. The reason was somebody else was staying there and hence they just showed us some videos of the unit which looked nice to us. But when we got the keys and entered the unit we realized that the interiors were of too cheap quality. So within few months we saw that the countertops in kitchen started getting into bad state and raised many tickets against the same. None were answered so far and I got to know from one of the maintenance person that they will not replace them until move out coz anyway tenants have to pay for the replacement.3. They have highlighted some stains on the wall and screw holes which they have charged me for. Having stayed in that unit for 2+ years isnt it considered as normal wear and tear ? They have charged me for oil stains on wall in few places which is acceptable for me to pay the charges. But charging us for the entire repainting is totally unfair.4. They have sent me the pictures of the carpet where they see the stains. Those stains were all of food or the crayons which couldve been easily cleaned by any professional cleaner. Rather they have replaced the carpets and have charged me very heavily !!! They are saying they couldnt clean the carpet and hence replaced which looks untrue for me after seeing the google reviews now.5. The cabinets in kitchen were all of very low quality and were all white in color. With our Asian cooking its impossible to keep them all unstained after staying for 2+ yrs. I agree for the cleaning charges but not for the charges what they have put on me.6. I had paid a deposit of 100$ towards our dish equipment setup in the patio and they are not at all able to track back that payment. So not sure what happened to that deposit we paid couple of weeks later we moved into that unit.7. I have been staying in many apartments since Jan 2006 and I never had a situation where in I was asked to pay this high move out charges (1737.13) !!! The max I might have got is for about 300 -400$ again for carpet cleaning and other cleaning stuffs.So far I have failed in getting help from the local management team over there on the re-review of my charges and they just came back asking me to pay the entire charges since there couldnt be any concessions given. Except that they reduced 200$ towards carpet.Since the deadline to arrange for payment is 13th Oct I had to raise this BBB complaint. As expected there was absolutely NO response from any one of their local management or the upper management team. BBB complaint is still ongoing and donno if anything will happen over there either. Just thought of creating awareness amongst others so that they wont be cheated like us and many others who have reported about similar billing after move out issues.

If I could rate this Milestones management no stars, thats what it would be. The property managers and milestones managers have been liars and cons. I paid for an apartment that I never moved in, and I end up moving in one of their sister communities just to be told that the other deposit money was in the mail. Which I never received. I call almost everyday just to be told that when they receive the check in the mail, is when I can get another check cut or sent out. They dont call you back when you need them, but if they need their rent money... Trust they will leave all types of letters and call you when your one day late. Im starting to think these people are holding my money and are not being truthful about a check, they never sent. Can someone please stop payment on the fake check that was sent out and allow me to come and pick up my money from your office. It only makes sense to do this, and not hold on to someone hard earn money they work for. The next post I send out will go to the BBB about tenants rights! I have 2 children... 1 is with me, and the oldest is in college. Why do I have to be a victim of a scam these property managers are trying to play on me? Im not naming names but they will be exposed!

I do not know there are dealing peoples attitudes when they are in residential management company /.. I have been there in our community i never had issues with staff or fixing issues. but the time these guys taken owner ship every one in our apartment atleast most of my friends feeling same way . I created a wo to fix the issue they took one month and saying we do not have staff .. if i do not have money in my bank can I pay after a month will you agree.... if you guys did not change the management then I think every one will move out this Lincoln at townesqure and you guys can play games in apartment..

From the minute I moved into my apartment, my upstairs neighbors noise level has been so loud and disruptive that Ive spent the last 6 months avoiding being home. My daughter has chosen to spend more time at her fathers because the banging, thumping, dropping, cabinet slamming, door shutting, and crying or screaming children is just too much to deal with. Ive never lived somewhere like this and Ive lived all over the world. Management responded by fixing the subflooring which did NOTHING but fix a squeak...which has now returned!! The problem with the flooring is one thing but a child running back and forth all day and falling and jumping is a controllable situation...I know because Ive raised 4!! Instead of making the upstairs neighbors move or keep quiet, managements response is that I can move at my own expense!! So, basically, they do not care and everyone can be as loud as they want with zero consequences.I am now on a campaign to ensure that people know how bad this situation is here and dont waste their time or money by moving here.

I, too, would rate with zero stars. Our Air Conditioning has not functioned properly for years. When Milestone Management acquired our apartment buildings, I had high hopes of having our AC repaired. Ive been met with nothing but resistance by the office & maintenance staff, as they have done the absolute bare minimum to dabble their toe into beginning to address our AC issue. My guy even took the time to research AC units, take pictures of our filthy AC unit outside, find a youtube video on how to clean the AC unit, and sent that to the office in hopes they will pass that on to maintenance. The maintenance man has, on multiple occasions, become visibly angry and used profanity. I plan to report this to the BBB, among other avenues of pursuit. We left a message with the corporate office, and never received any return communication.

I am highly disappointed with the lack of service and response I received from your organization. On Monday, May 22, 2017, I called to file a complaint and was referred to contact the Jessica Lingo, the District Manager for the apartment complex, I left her a voicemail, and seven days later she has yet to respond. On Thursday, May 25, 2017, I made another call to Corporate Office regarding the lack of response and was transferred to the voicemail of Rebecca Herrington, which I left a voicemail requesting contact and still again I have yet to receive a response from her. On Friday, May 26, 2017, I called the corporate office and expressed my frustrations and was assured that either Jessica Lingo or Rebecca Herrington would contact me by close of business and again no contact has been made by either individual or anyone else from your organization. I made the decision to escalate my complaint to the corporate level because of the lackadaisical response received from the apartment complex, however, ignoring customers appears to the gold standard at all levels of the organization.

Currently a resident at Lake Village West, had numerous damage upon moving in asked for them to be fixed and we would move on. 2 Months later, I have mice coming into my bedroom and a swarm of nats coming from my sink and mold growing in my bathroom. Landlord wants me to pay a termination fee on top of this even though his complex is shoddy.Top it all off Ive emailed several people on corporate level here and none of them seem to ever answer. Absolutely terrible company.
