Brandon P. is my go to person. He is very responsive. Any time I have had a request for maintenance or a general question he has taken care of it. Neighborhood is quiet and near everything. At this time I have no complaints. (April 2021).Update as of August 2021: Brandon is no longer my go to due to him now working at a different location. No matter how much you clean your apartment or get pest control roaches will keep coming in from the building. These are not water bugs they are German roaches. I do not suggest moving here unless it is a last minute move and you have no where else to go. Staff will try to make you think they are water bugs but I have only seen 1 water bug and many German roaches. The walls are thin as you can feel every vibration from neighbors and hear them if they are in the room next to you on the other side. Still a quiet neighborhood.

I moved in about 2 weeks ago, and Brandon Penados has been an excellent help. He made sure my maintenance request were fulfilled in a timely manner upon asking. I am very satisfied with this apartment complex as well as the friendly leasing office staff. My only problem is that the gate to the apartments have yet to be locked, but I was reassured that would change shortly. Brandon has made moving in very easy and I appreciate his concern on keeping tenants happy and informed.

DO NOT RENT HERE !! EVER !!I stayed at this apartment for 4 years, because i thought it was the cheapest place in the area. It was cheaper back then, but this year the price went up A LOT. For the same price i can rent a 2 bedroom at another place. This is some reason why you should never rent here:- ROACHES EVERYWHERE, no matter how clean you are or how many time they spray the pest control. It never go away. At night roaches crawl all over the place. Words can not describe how much roaches there is....- FRONT OFFICE IS UNPROFESSIONAL, this place is loud, people do fight all the time. If you were made a complaint to the office THEY WILL SNITCH YOUR NAME!!!! Me and my friends who lived here always loose our packages. It would said delivered at the front office, i would ask them and they always said they don’t have it. Until MONTHS LATER, they gave it to me....for what?

I appreciated his friendliness, availability (responding to emails quickly or answering the phone) and quick response to maintenence requests. I also appreciate Perla who proactively helped me to resolve thesw issues I had with some maintenance requests.

Gotta say, this is one of the worst experiences I had for the price range of this complex. Some context: I knew what I was paying for, as in I didn’t expect luxury from what Century Park calls an “Efficient” Room Plan at $730. The only expectation I had was that the apartment remained functional at a standard level and that maintenance could fix any issues that arrived. Yet, in my two years of living here, I couldn’t even get that. One Pro: Amazing Area – All the necessities, vital retail stores, movie theaters, parks, and most popular fast food restaurants are a short drive away from here. Dentists, doctors, physicians, etc. aren’t too far either. When I first moved in in 2018, the apartment was not ready at all. Not only did half of all electrical outlets were either too loose or didn’t work (one of them was installed upside-down, with no opening!!!), the toilet had a major leak. A leak that took twice for it to fix during the move-in. The stovetop only had two working burners, in which the two broken ones constantly broke to the point that I stopped bothering to call about it. And on top of all that, my car got towed because the management forgot to give me my parking pass. I so wished I could have saved the photo of the bullet hole I found in my window after I moved in. They couldn’t even be bothered to check the windows, my god.Speaking of windows, they leaked. For all 2 years. No matter how many times the maintenance came up to fix it, it always leaked back up again. It especially was bad during storm season in 2019, where the rain nearly caused an electrical fire pouring out of both windows, each above an outlet. The water damage got so bad that cracks in-between the wall and windows started to appear. No matter how much I complained about it to management, it fell on deaf ears. Maintenance would just patch it up with adhesive and call it a day. Well, apparently I wasn’t the only one having that problem because the entire outside wall of our building collapsed in September 2020. (Pics Below) And even when they finally repair the wall, it only led to more damage inside the apartment, to where even my ceiling is starting to falter.Don’t expect much from maintenance. My apartment also just so happened to have the oldest, loudest air conditioner unit on the street, waking up neighbors with a high pitch whirring sound. When I first complained, the maintenance guy said “it’s not that bad” despite telling him how some neighbors can’t sleep, including myself. As you guess, most of maintenance’s solutions didn’t work. One night I was so fed up with it, I decided to treat it like a squeaky door and pour a little olive oil in the ac unit. And just like that, not a single peep from it since. A whole year I had to deal with that excruciating noise and yet such a simple solution was not thought up by paid professionals. As far as the neighborhood goes, I can’t speak for one side of the complex, but on my side expect loud, large families running all about, thundering the building. Rude neighbors who have arguments in the early mornings screaming out their lungs, as well as music blasting to 1AM on weekdays. You will hear gunshots, if not from Century Park then from the other neighboring communities. These buildings are old, so you will hear your above neighbor’s every step from the rickety ceilings and whenever they use the bathroom. Don’t bother using on-complex laundry either. If a family isn’t hogging all the washers and dryers, then the units are infested with insects that will give you bed bugs. You can guess how it is with cockroaches from there. All in all, just a terrible experience. I know how difficult it is to find functional places to live on budget, but better believe you can do better than Century Park.

I haven’t even been here two weeks yet and I’m starting to see I have made one of the biggest mistakes ever and I’m stuck her for 14 more months. I’ll continue to add throughout this process. This is outrageous. Amongst being shown a apartment that supposedly looked like the one I was renting, getting here to find out they tried to make me sign a lease on a floor level I asked not to be on, to having to switch all utilities to a different apartment that wasn’t prepared, to maintenance coming in my apartment coughing without mask on, to now trying to do laundry only for them to tell me you have to have a $5 for a laundry card, when I have a full $20 to load and buy card. Just wow. My window is still barely on the hinges, paint is still missing on counter, water stain on floor, and apartment has floor plank holes under carpet. Please choose another place Bc as I stated. I’ve only been here a week and 4 days and it’s already a huge regret. Well today of my birthday is gets worse, return back to complex to find out my key card dosent work amongst having movers come, nor did they correctly set up keypad to contact my cell so I don’t even have access to property where I pay rent at. Spoke with management today 3/29. Told her my problems with the property after fully moving in and instead of trying to help she simply stated do I want to move. I received this information from property manager Griselda.

I lived at Century Park for a year, and I think it’s a great place for first-time apartment renters. They’re relatively inexpensive; not amazing, but not horrible. The amenities are minimal, about as low as you could go while still being decent (very small gym, iffy on-site laundry, large but not deep pool, one kids playground), and the parking situation is alright (had to walk across the complex to my apartment only a few times late at night). It’s super close to the main parts of Addison, and everything’s within a 5-10 minute drive. I recommend it to my friends who are looking to move into their first-time 1 bedroom apartments due to the low prices and decent options for sizes. I had frequent issues with plumbing while I was there, but that’s mostly it. Sometimes the water for sinks, showers, and toilets just didn’t flow, but it was always fixed within the day. The front office’s attentiveness is just okay and the community laundry situation isn’t the best due to the card loader being broken constantly. The upside is that there’s a laundromat right down the road that fixes that issue. Overall, the apartments are just okay. Not great for my personal opinion of long-time living, but perfect for new renters who are just looking for a decent priced apartment to get away from their current situations. 3/5 stars, they’re just alright.

I lived here for about two months at the beginning of 2020, and had to move due to the amount of cockroaches at my place. I had pest control come once, however, it was at the beginning of the pandemic and they weren’t able to come back. Regardless, it’s a structural problem and I believe that only by demolishing the whole place you could MAYBE solve this issue.I was able to break my lease without a fine due to the cockroach problem, so if you are ever in this situation, know your rights and go after them! They are a huge health risk, and you shouldn’t be subjected to it.Also, apartment was not clean when I moved in. The staff was very friendly throughout the process though and I’m thankful for them.

If it was my choose I will give this apartments no stars at all. Ive lived here for about 7 years, but Im about to talk about the last unit #1312. I lived there for 2 years. I was forced to moved out, because for 2 years I complained about the AC never working. I remember coming back from the hospital with my newborn and the AC was 80°F I called maintenance after hours and I was told to OPEN THE WINDOWS Remember I had just gotten out of the hospital. With this HOT days I had to stay during the day at my in laws house, because my AC was 73°F but in my apt was 80°F. My daughter suffers from Asthma and even though I continued to ask them to fix stuff I was being told that they did. But please take a look at the following pictures from unit 1312. Neightbors are LOUD, at night you can hear gunshots, parties at the pool are ridicusly loud at night. Recently I was told I owe almost $400 which I get some of the charges but not $310 for a piece of carpet where there was a stain but I am being charge to replace the whole room carpet. Even though they kept my deposit of $250. Ive been emailing back and forth with the manager Tiffany and she did not responded my last email where I asked her if she would have her Asthmatic daughter living un the conditions we were. So much I could say. All I can say is DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT OR APARTMENTS they are NASTY.

Yes, we do pay pest control, the company has been my apartment twice, nothing improves, roaches still running around, can you image seeing live roaches in your bathtub everyday, I had to buy products online to treat the roaches. Got my car towed twice by the apartment IN ONE WEEK (and never apologized paid me back)because they just let the tow truck in with no accountability and tow whatever they see without a sticker. Even though I was driving my sole vehicle which was registered to me by apartment I was towed!!! The stickers for parking used to expire after your lease so a new was you need a new one after each contract. But good luck getting one easily because the office hours are hardly convenient during the work week if you work long days at a high school like me.Also the apartment is extremely shoddily repainted as if a third grader did it.The iron railing is falling off or decaying or breaking apart everywhere. I leaned on my balcony on and two rings popped off like popcorn.Any wood except the new facades on the stairwells are most definitely rotten. The bug problem never gets fixed but they keep charging you for it each month.Rent keeps rising but the quality of apartments is never regulated or updated.

Save your money and rent somewhere else. I thought these apartments were getting better since new owners came in but nope, once the property manager moved the new one became money hungry. Now Ive loved here 3 years and have never received as many notices as I do now and its not even being late on rent. Ex. Pest control will be doing kitchen sprays, if top of fridge is not cleaned off you get charged $50 (no exaggeration) 1 day late on rent? Be ready for an $80 late fee. Utilities go up every month but I still have yet to get an understanding as to why my water bill is almost $80 but no one is home m-f 7-5. Also the rent has gone up so high that its amusing, they say you are paying for a nice neighborhood but my previous apartment was a 1bdrm with a study about 765sq ft..I was paying $725 plus utiltites, it was roach infested nothing upgraded but now that same apartment is $900-1000. Look online for yourself. I have since upgraded to a 2bdrm for $1025 this same apartment is now going for $1300..no upgrades. Parking is horrible, kids are always playing in the parking lot so have fun trying to go around them. The only pros about this complex is the maintenance men actually fix things, Sharon works in the office and is nice. (They should make her manager) the location is great. I happen to live in a renovated unit towards the middle of the complex, i’m very happy with it, I have friends who live in Hyde Park Which is just behind these apartment complexes and they’re paying $60 more but they do have washer and dryer connections and a little bit more square footage and their unit is newer than Century Park Apartments , but Century Park Apartments has plenty of washing facilities On property , I don’t know about these roaches people keep talking about Lol I keep my place clean plus I don’t have a cat or a dog , because you know dog food and cat food attract roaches (Ew) .... clean after yourself sweep often take out the trash don’t leave food out That’s how I stay roach free God bless !. parking can be crowded over the weekends but never during the weekdays ! When people complain about parking on the other side I don’t understand because this complex is not big it’s just a giant U-turn Lol The people living here are usually family and college students you don’t really see kids running around which is a good thing , try to get a unit away from the pool obviously sound carries , and try to get a renovated unit which are usually on the first floor you get the most bang for your buck better floors better appliances better finishing plus USB sockets which are very convenient ! You’ll be happy here as long as you remember these are older buildings that have been remodeled .... it is what it is

Hateful apartments.1) Maintenance often takes over 4 days to attend to your needs.2) High turnover rate within the leasing office, so managers consistently never get anything done nor understand tenants living situations.3) Recently did paint job and added siding to the buildings, but didnt update ANYTHING inside the apartments.4) Apartment complex resides next to a cemetery (they never tell you that during the walk-through).5) Extremely thin flooring.6) Regular altercations requiring police involvement.7) High levels of feces by pets throughout apartment grounds.8) 10 PM mandatory curfew by residents.9) So called security service by a courtesy officer (courtesy officers are not on site).10) Unleashed pets in common areas.11) EXTREMELY poor insulation leading to exorbitantly high electrical bills.12) Cheap cabinatery.13) Due to lack of updates appliances are old, inefficient, and breaking down.14) Very high levels of crime in the area. You will be hard-pressed to find a more resentful apartment complex. All aspects of staff and maintenance are appalling to a quantified degree. The leasing office never takes responsibility for anything, theyre slowly allowing Century Park Apartments to fall into disrepair. But I do experience one with constant noise at night. The biggest problem here that I experienced are bugs. Ive often seen croaches crawling in almost every room in the apartment. The office is trying to solve the issue by calling in constant bug control. However, that leaves the apartment full of the nasty bug spray smell all the time. I have to leave the window/balcony door open even in cold weather. Otherwise, the smell is just killing me.

WORST APARTMENTS EVER!!! I wouldnt wish this place on my enemy. First, there is a property-wide cockroach infestation. Or should I say there is a property-wide cockroach infestation that the property management acknowledges and does not care about. In our particular unit, we had cockroaches all over the walls and one even laid eggs in the clock of our oven. I have pictures to prove it. I started by putting in a work request for maintenance to come spray for it. The maintenance man actually said yeah this isnt even that bad, the other side has it way worse. I was in building 9, for anyone reading this that is having the same issue. After months of this worsening, I went to the building manager and asked if I could leave my lease at the scheduled end date with slightly less than a 60 day notice. She refused, citing that they never let anyone leave without a 60 day notice for any reason. She even backed up her nonchalant attitude about the welfare of her residents by saying yes there is a woman who lives here who has stage 4 cancer that we would not even let out of her lease. WOW. All this on top of my neighbor who loudly listened to porn every night and my upstairs neighbor that jumped on a trampoline in their apartment at 3am and smoked weed like it was going out of style. My apartment had the lovely odor to prove it.If anyone who currently lives at Century Park is having these issues, TAKE PICTURES. Document everything and every conversation. Try to converse with office management in email only if possible. Then send a calmly worded letter, certified, to the Anterra Corporate office at 12201 Merit Drive, Suite 270, Dallas, Texas 75251 and firmly state your demand to leave. Richard Hoffmann is the President of this company and Stephen Hansen is the VP/Controller, make your letter addressed directly to them. Maybe they will not read it, but their assistants will definitely pass along the message. It worked for us. Good luck.

Dont bother moving here. They are basic apartments that they are trying to make grand with a lot of extra hassles. Parking sucks and I believe they are in with the tow company to make money. The outside looks just ok compared to what it looked like before but its still the same old dusty apartments from 5 years ago they just cost more. Move to a real apartment

If I could give zero stars I would. I was robbed at gunpoint and car jacked at the bottom of the stairwell in front of my apartment due to the poor security. Gate is always broken and left open and gang members were able to enter and attack me. My brand new car was also towed as unauthorized when I was parked in my normal spot. Loud pool parties and the building always smells like weed is being smoked inside. Breaking my lease because I have a newborn and cant deal with this anymore.

I Lived On This Property For Two Years At First I Loved The Property And The People In The Office. It Was Around The Time I Renewed My Lease No One Came To Clean My Carpet For Renewing My Lease. Another Major Issue Is That You Can Be The Cleaniest Person In Your Unit And Still Have Roaches. These Apartments Have A Bad Roach Problem They Need To Be Tore Down Because The Roaches Is In The Foundation Of The Complex. I Have Never Had A Apartment With This Bad Of A Roach Problem. There Was Also A Electrical Problem In My Apartment Anything That Needed To Be Plugged Up Couldnt Work Nor Did My AC, I Lost Food That Was Just Bought. The Property Reimbursed Me For My Loss And The Gates Always Broken. By Far This Complex Has Been The Worst I Have Evered Lived In I Wouldnt Recommend These Apartments To Anyone Not Even A Homeless Person. My Second Issue How The Hell You Go From $795 To $901.00 If You Renew Your Lease Ummm No Thank You Ill Go Pay That Price Somewhere Else Without The Roaches And Bugs. To Bad I Cant Give No Stars But I Guess They Can Have This One Star. THIS IS A PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT IF YOU DONT LIKE ROACHES OR BUGS DO NOT LEASE HERE!!!

DO NOT DO IT! Worst experience of my life!!!!! The roaches are everywhere, the apartment staff are nice upon moving in but once you are in there they arent helpful, they only want your money. If you want to live in a place where the aparment office is the only thing that is nice and upgraded this is the place to move to otherwise PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! It took 4 days for the maintenance to come and fix my request after I called 3xs. Everytime it rained the apartment flooded. IT WAS HORRIBLE. I was only there for 1 month and I moved out because it was that bad.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! THIS IS NOT A PEACEFUL PLACE. THEY WILL ROB YOU!I work from 8-5 M-F. During my time off from work, I hung out with my girlfriend, so Im rarely home. But whenever I am at home, during night time, youll hear people shout at each other, shootings, people have their music up real loud, and much more. Each day I went home from work/hanging out, theres always cannabis scent and shoutings. The only plus about this area is the mall. Its a 4 minutes drive to Galleria. My lease is up, I did not want to re-new. The employee there is real nice, trying to convince me to stay. I didnt want to be rude. 1 month later I received a bill for $731.43!!!! Holy crap!$543 for damaged carpet, $100 for damaged vinyl and some cleaning, $55 bucks for keys which I turned in. Little here and there.I got off work early as soon as the bill arrived. They showed me some pictures. $543 for damaged carpet: carpet has few cottons on the floor, some area has abnormal dust bunnies from the ceilings. They told me the carpet needs to be replaced and cleaned.$100 for damaged vinyl. They state it was actually for cleaning fees. CLEANING FEES?! The only area needs cleaning is the toilet, sink, stove and bathtub. The stove and sink has one white streak which can be wipe down with a single damped napkin.$55 bucks for keys not turned in. I turned in the both 2 keys, and a gate key the following day (which unfortunately the lady did not put in the system). Also, the bill state if I dont pay them by this date, it will go into collection. Can they even do this?!I will never recommend anyone here. Beware of this place. When you move out, they will try to milk you and you cannot do anything about it!A single piece of dirt on the wall will cost you $100 to clean!

COCKROACH & RAT INFESTATION!Here is the incredibly long list of problems I experienced while living (and even after moving out) of Century Park:- place immediately smelled like cigarette smoke once I moved in (October 2017) & the smell never went away (even found an old cigarette in my shower)- Pipes burst above my kitchen and spilled water through the ceiling and all over my kitchen. I had over 20 glasses & bowls placed around my kitchen to catch the water. The leaking water left water stains on the ceiling and probably created some nice mold colonies as well.- RAT INFESTATION that lasted from December 2017 - April 2018 despite MULTIPLE requests for pest control to put out traps in my apartment, around, and in neighbors. The first time I reported the infestation, it took a week and a half for anything to be done, even though I called the office and complained after four days. I was promised pest control would come out, but they never did. Only had someone come out after a second call to the office. Even got to find a dead rat on my kitchen floor one morning which could have died from poison and harmed my dog if she got to the rat before I found it. I could hear the rats crawling around in my walls, I had to store all of my food in my fridge, and was constantly cleaning to prevent the rats from getting any food crumbs.- COCKROACH INFESTATION came after the rats and lasted from May 2018 - October 2018 (when I moved out & am not convinced they were gone, even discovered a cockroach on a piece of furniture that had traveled with me in the Uhaul). I had to request maintenance at least five times, even though I asked many of those times for weekly sprays of my apartment as well as neighbors apartments. I am not even convinced the pest control Century Park sent out was spraying well since I was always at work when they did decide to show up. Had to request for an outside pest control company to come spray. Again, I had to completely clean my apartment daily and would kill anywhere from 5-15 cockroaches daily. As gross as the rats were, the cockroaches were even harder to get rid of.- STRANGE MAN walked onto my patio at the back of the property, almost like he was going to try opening the sliding screen door, but he quickly left once he saw me staring at him through the window. I chased after him & once confronted, he said he was with landscaping but I think he was going to attempt to break in.- HARASSED by the front office that my emotional support animal dog was unauthorized even though I emailed them with the information and forms weeks before I moved in & signed forms for her on my move in day. I called the office to explain I received the first letter in error, left a voicemail, and figured the issue would be resolved and was a simple mistake only to received another letter the next day! I was being issued a fine and told my dog needed to leave my apartment. The entire situation was incredibly distressing and luckily was resolved, but it should never have occurred in the first place, let alone gotten to the point of the second letter.- CHARGED RENT AFTER I MOVED OUT! I moved out 10/6/18 & paid my last rent with a money order. I was told, and made sure to double check, that I would not be charged for any additional rent. Come October 1st, I get an email alert notifying me a payment for the full month of rent was scheduled. I immediately called the office and was told not to worry, the payment would be cancelled once my money order was processed in the system. I even went so far as to cancel the automatic payment through the system on my end to ensure payment would not go through. But in true Century Park fashion, the payment went through for almost $1,000. Again, I had to contact Century Park and explain I did not owe the money and I needed a refund. I was told my refund would be given once my apartment had been fully checked and any fees taken out. It took a month and a half after I moved out, along with another email, before I got MY MONEY back that Century Park should have never taken!

They are affordable apartments with good value for money, well located in Dallas near Addison. But there is not good pest maintenance, we have applied a lot of insecticides but there are still insects, the entrances of some apartments are flooded and filled with mud due to the poor maintenance of the grass. The rest are decent apartments with a nice pool and gym

More than 5 years ago my friend applied in these departments, they asked him for a deposit and they charged an application. When he returned to the office staff to check if he had been approved, he was threatened by the two women who had treated him before, telling my friend that they had his information and that he had no documents to be approved. When he asked for the money back. He told him again about his immigration status and that they had his information, my friend was scared and did not report for fear. Now we know that what they did to him is called extortion. I have spent time but I hope that those who will apply to this place will not do the same to them as to my friend. And if they do, they denounce it because it is a crime. In many places they do the same thing by taking advantage of people. And if those who are higher as owners do not find out about the staff they hire in their apartments. Keep in mind this that happened. Although time has passed. Hopefully this comment will serve others. Or talk if they did the same to you.
