Economic Appliance was willing to listen to my refrigerator problem and empathized with the situation resulting in an expedited repair. Casey, the repair person, was one-time, thoughtful and essentially rebuilt my fridge in two hours. Thank you for being a trustworthy and get it done service center.

Our home warranty co. sent Big Ten out to see why our dishwasher was leaking from the front. Les came in, very professional, wearing a mask, greeted our dog, and started right in on the dishwasher. Turns out, it was soap leaking out from the front due to using the pods in an older model GE dishwasher. We had always used the gels and liquids until about 2 weeks ago, and thats when we noticed the leak. He took the time to explain everything, told us we can continue to use the pods, but to toss them in the bottom of the dishwasher instead of closing them into the dispenser. Then he told us that our $100 service fee which is charged by our warranty co, would be honored for the next 60 days, just in case we encounter another issue with leaks. I highly recommend Big Ten, and Les was great!

First thing you see on their website is We work on all makes, models and appliances!.LIES.I messaged the. To ask.about fixing my kitchen u it fridge (sink, stove, fridge in one unit). Their reply... We dont work on those. Thats it.With this customer service and upfront advertising its amazing they can get anyone to work with them

I dont recommend this company they told me they would arrive at around 8am and I wait before heading to work but they didnt arrive until around 11am. I needed them to fix my refrigerator and when the technician arrived he opened the doors to the fridge and said that he didnt know what was wrong and that the to fix would cost about $1,000 but never took a close to and told me what was wrong with it only that compressor work cause he could heard it. He didnt tell me anything that I didnt know. And charge me $75 dls for notting.😠

Serviceman Mike fixed my dryer in under an hour for a very reasonable price. The woman who answers the phone clearly stated that the serviceman would call ahead and if I didnt answer he would move on. Not only did Mike fix the dryer but he cleaned the clogged vent and had suggestions on how to improve its efficiency. Ive used other repair companies but no one has taken the time to explain things like this. Highly recommend!!

End of September our washer had grinding noice and stopped working. Tech came out in timely manner. He spun bottom and said was gear case. Would have to break another part to just get to it. Would be over $300’to fix. Washer is direct drive so not sure how has gears. I opted to not have repair as I would just put that money into a new washer. After a week my husband went to move the washer out of the way with dolly. He found a bolt on floor underneath where washer had been. He put on and hooked washer back up. Washer working perfectly. Thank goodness we didn’t throw away! Seems like tech could have looked into washer for trouble shooting and might have found the problem. $95 service call for nothing. I wrote company email with concerns without any response.

I needed my washer repaired I found this company online. This was the only company I found that was affordable and willing to come out same day. They did a great job, they worked fast, the appliance repair tech was knowledgeable, and the price was exactly what I was quoted over the phone so I am happy with the service that I received and I will use again if the need should ever arise.

Pathetic service people. Very disappointed with their service. I had a issue with my washing machine that it was not working during spin dry mode. I called my home warranty company and they scheduled Economics Appliance services. The technician came after a week and did not even opened anything to look into the problem. He simply took the Model number and said that he has to ordered some parts which will take another week. After a week the technician came back with parts he put the the parts did Not verify weather the issue is resolved or not. When I came I started my laundry washer and after a while I noticed that the problem still there. Laundry machine is not working in spin dry mode but now There is a water all over the floor which was never been the case. I never had a water spillage problem until the Economic Appliance service Technician came to fix my another problem. I do not recommend this service. It demaged my floor.

I purchased a new house and the ice dispenser was not working. The seller of the home called Economic Appliance Service and prepaid for them to come out and fix it. They came to my house on June 23, 2015 and replaced the motor. I tried using it for the first time on June 24 and it quit working again. They came back out and looked at it and told me I needed a different part, but I would have to pay for it. They ordered it and came out on July 11, 2015 (Saturday) to fix it, as I couldnt take any more time off work. I was told by the technician he wasnt able fix it and someone else would have to do it. I then received a call on July 13 to reschedule an appointment for them to come back. I asked if they could come out after 4pm, as I couldnt take off work again. I was told NO, that they can send the part back and I can call someone else, or I can wait until August 1, 2015 for them to attempt to fix the issue again. Their scheduling/management clearly needs work, as does their customer service skills. I’m wondering if they continue to create issues for additional work.

Do not waste your time! worst customer service ever. I got scheduled for a service with a window time of 5h (8 am to 1 pm), stayed home to wait for the technician, no body called no body showed up! at 12:30 PM, I made a call to them to check what is going on, and they tell me that the technician had a problem and he is running late! but still he can call me after 1 PM!!!! my question then, why is the time frame??!!! the problem, even no apology! it seemed to her so normal that I have to wait the whole day at home for my oven service!!! I did cancel my service right away, my advice to people who wanna use them, good luck!!!!! for me i lost time and lost money! never try even to call them again.

This place is a joke! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! They gave us a 5 hour window the first time, came out and turned the water on and said that was what was wrong with our dishwasher. My husband had turned it off on his own because it was not working and he shut it off to try to fix it himself. We called to have them come back out and they scheduled us for a Monday morning, another 5 hour window and my husband took personal time to be home so that he could explain the issues. They called us the Friday before and said they had been to our house that day to make the repair, we were not scheduled until Monday. I was actually home all day Friday and no one had been to our house. Total lie! Then we sit home all Monday waiting on them to come, my husband had a business call and missed the phone call. Called back 15 minutes later and they said we had to reschedule because we missed the phone call. RIDICULOUS!! Also, why did they supposedly come to our house Friday but not call? Waste of time and money!

The washer (Kenmore) started making strange noises. Sounded like gears missing their clog. Ron came out and 15 minutes later he had it running. Called next morning to tell me a kit was available to fix it for good.

This company is the worst! I called them out to fix my washer. They sent four different technicians out and my washer is still broke and they stole from us! When we told the owner that one of his guys stole something he said we have never been accused of anything like this and just said he would not be back in my house, damn straight you wont be back!This place is horrible. They are thieves in more ways than one.

Stay away from these scammers !!! They “fixed” my GE dishwasher, alright - $350 later, it’s still not working. On the first visit, the technician said that the problem was a stuck fan, which he “fixed” in 10 minutes for $100. When we ran dishwasher same problem - dishwasher ran but didn’t actually clean the dishes and now there is a new issue - a nasty, burning smell during the wash cycle.I call them again - same guy comes back (this time with help), and says that it’s the motor – which he was going to “fix” for another, oh, let’s just say $250 will do it. We run the dishwasher in the evening, and guess what…it runs ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT. Hot, dirty dishes still in the dishwasher in the morning. We’re pretty pissed off at this point, so we call their offices, and they say “Manager Jake will fix it.He promises to stop by at 4:30 on appointment day, so I arrange to meet him then, but he’s MIA! Third day I have taken time off work to fix dishwasher. I called their offices at 5pm to find out what the problem was, and they promise that he’ll be at the house…in 15 minutes. He shows up at 5:30, with same helper. They proceed to tinker with the dishwasher for 10 minutes and then the epiphany! . “It’s the timer and for $95, we’ll fix it!”, Manager Jake offers.At this point, I’m beyond pissed ... the timer must have been the issue all along, so either the technician did not know what he was doing or they were just stringing me along for the money. Oh no, Jake says, the timer was working. You must have broken it after the technicians left. I cannot have this anymore – I told him that I didn’t trust him and his crew any longer, and that I wanted my money back. Jake says pay $95, or we’re out. I show them the door.Dishwashers are DEFINITELY not their thing, and they lack professionalism and customer service in SPADES. Avoid them at all costs. Oh, I noticed they were adding a 50% margin to Sears’ prices on their parts, so I’d stay away from those too.

I called to say my refrigerator was running all the time and the noise was driving me nuts. When the repairman was there, I told him Id already had another company check it out and they said it was within normal limits and there was nothing to be done.The refrigerator wasnt making noise when the Economic Appliance Service repairman was there, so he said it clearly wasnt running all the time but that replacing the cold control unit should solve the problem. He didnt have one with him and we scheduled a time for him to come back to install the part.He didnt call the afternoon of the second appointment. I left several voice mails on his cell phone, but he never responded. When I called the office, the woman who answered the phone said he was running late and would be there around 6 p.m. He never showed up. We rescheduled installation of the part. The serviceman arrived late. The new cold control unit had no effect on the noise. The owner agreed to remove the part and refund its cost. The owner arrived late.I called a few days later and requested a refund for the second (part installation) service call because they had misdiagnosed the problem and the part was never needed. The owner refused, citing my initial call when I said the refrigerator was running all the time. Based on that, he had told the repairman to replace the cold control. So if you use this company, be careful what you say in your initial call, because it will carry more weight than what the repairman sees when he inspects the unit.We had to replace the refrigerator. I wasnt happy that it cost me an extra $110 plus hanging around four times waiting for the Economic Appliance Service repairman to show up.

Had an idler pulley go out on a Whirlpool Cabrio dryer, service man came out 12/21 greased pulley. Worked for exactly 2 loads fo laundry then part started screaming again. Called office, repair man supposed to come back out on Fri. 12/23, called and said part had to be ordered. I called this companys own parts store and they had 3 of the part he claimed he had to order. Picked up part myself and installed it in 15 minutes ( I am a novice), repair man could have done it in 5. Apparently they didnt want our business very much.

Nice guys and responsive but, I called about my washer. Told them exactly what was wrong with it (common defect on the washer I have). I was told that they service Samsung and could some out and take a look to fix it. If they needed to order parts they would give me a quote before moving forward. $100 later they looked at the washer, told me exactly what I already knew/told them when I called, and then followed that with they cant order the parts or fix it but I could order them online. The serviceman said he sees this problem with the certain brand of washer (Samsung W400) all the time so they knew before coming out they wouldnt be able to order the parts but they still wanted to have me pay them $100 to tell me....

The technicians were friendly, took their time to properly diagnose the problem and unlike the other company we had tried using previously they successfully fixed the issue I was having with my fridge exactly as they said they would. Within minutes of them finishing the job, my fridge was working great.

DO NOT USE!!! Service contracted through LG. Repair person was filthy; left dirty grimey smears all over the inside and outside of my refrigerator, trash scattered all over my garage, and DAMAGED both the inside of my freezer and the back panel of the unit (see pics). The next service tech that came out to fix the unit (different company, and much more professional) said it looked like obvious screwdriver punctures. Im furious, as this is a brand new unit. This has already been reported back to LG.
