GO TO HOME DEPOT!!! DO NOT USE LOWE’S!! I was told my washer would be delivered between 10am-2pm today 9/27..what they failed to mention is this store has recently contracted with a 3rd party delivery service which as far as I’m concerned should probably be mentioned since I thought the delivery was being done by Lowe’s as per usual. Going on 2 pm, I contact the store only to be told all managers we’re in a luncheon but someone would return my call. 7 pm still no call. Called back to get a manager Aubrey who proceeds to tell me they’ve had problems with this 3rd party company since using them (pilot last mile) is the name. She stated they have reported them many times but Lowe’s does not care about our few “little” hundred we spend at their “corporate” store. I knew then I wanted my “little” 800 dollars back! Which by the way was then informed by her that they were broken down on the side of the road and until they brought the washer back I would get NO MONEY BACK!! WOW just WOW!! Save the trouble and heartache you will get going through these guys!! They don’t care about you!!! I was promised a call tomorrow to get my refund, I will update this once that happens.

Do not buy and get fence installed at Lowes in Columbia, Mo. Terrible installation. Uneven post cuts, didnt install bottom tension wire, didnt install filler post, saw marks on post. Been on the phone multiple times for 2 months trying to get issues resolved so my small dog can use the area and not get out. Avoid at all costs!

This Lowe’s has terrible service. Ordered appliances. They canceled the order. Reordered. Didn’t show up for delivery. Didn’t call that they weren’t coming. Then after multiple phone calls delivered the dryer and not the washer. Will never shop here again.

We have spent lost of money at this particular Lowes. The staff is always helpful and the management has always been accommodating to any issues that we have presented them with. This is one of the first places we visit when making appliance purchases.

Had a fiasco trying to find if a specific washer I wanted was in stock. Eventually just showed up in person and as usual theres 3 people manning the whole store. Employee in the back was overwhelmed by people so I dont think what I wanted was in stock but I just left. And for some reason their stores arent connected the way other chains are, so good luck checking stock in a different city. Menards and Home Depot are infinitely better.

Before the mask ordinance was lifted and before the vast majority of the population are eligible for vaccination, I’ve seen both customers AND staff not wearing their masks properly, wearing them only covering their mouths. It made me very uncomfortable as a shopper. Not only that, there has been many customers that’s I’ve seen walking around without masks on and the staff have not done anything to confront them. I’m very disappointed by how this store was run in a pandemic that has claimed so many lives.Aside from the issues regarding the actions they took (or didn’t take) during covid, I find that in general it’s hard to find help. I often have to wander throughout the store to find a staff when I needed help. Sometimes the patrons of the store are more helpful than the staff. I have had one encounter with a staff in the lumber section where the man (kind of rudely) laughed at my question, saying that the dimension of lumber I was looking for doesn’t exist (as standard sizes). He was right about it, but he really didn’t have to be so rude about it.Honestly I have been looking for a different hardware store with a large selection of lumber. When I do, I probably will not come back to this store even though this is the closest one to my home.

Recently my wife and I bought a house that’s been quite a fixer upper. Through it all we have run into various obstacles along the way. The whole process has been exhausting. The one place that we haven’t has any issues with this whole time has been Lowe’s. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Ethan in paint who went above and beyond to help us in a short time frame. This is an employee who genuinely wanted to help us and really worked to make sure we got the highest quality products and service. 5 star experience all around!

Eventually after finding my way to the right aisle in this huge store i asked a guy if he worked there and while he did not he still helped me find what i needed. Helpful as always. Multiple staff members were easily able to guide me to exactly what I was looking for in various departments making it a painless trip. Even got some advice on which specific item to buy when I wasnt sure about the topic and I feel confident in the choice I made based on that advisement. Always love that you can rely on the employees to actually know about their store and their department within it. Its that small town vibe in a retail chain.

We got a call on Saturday saying that everything that we ordered is ready for pickup. We went to pick it up on Sunday, but when we get there the employee called someone and said that they would call her back shortly.. I waited 15 mins and asked how much longer do you think it was going to take, she then called them back and got someone up there. All together I waited about 2 hours to get only half of my order. When I ask for the other parts they said they will have to wait until Monday to ask someone about the other things. This was flooring and it was on a pallet and I asked the employee if I could take it off the pallet so I can hand load them in the truck, he then told me no that it needed to be lifted into the truck with the forklift, I didnt need his help with this but now Im stuck with a pallet with nothing to do with it. So then Monday we called a 3 times but the first two times we got hung up on, then the third time they told us to call be on Tuesday so they can ask the back room people. Today we were able to pick up the other parts of our flooring but this was just absolutely crazy and so much wasted time. I wouldnt recommend ship to store to anyone after this.

We went shopping for replacement ceiling fans and found them at Lowes. The store was clean, neat, with very few people in it. All the workers and customers wore face masks. 1 employee had his facemask below his nose, which is not how it should be worn. If you have a question or need help, it can be hard to find an employee. However they do have a customer service area that had 2 employees working there the day we were in.

A little pricey but I try to keep up to date on the latest coupons and deals. Has building materials, mowing equipment, doors, windows etc. Even if your looking for just that 1 screw that fell out of say a door and was lost well here is the place to find it.

Plant buying on the Sunday before Mothers Day. Selection was poor so I spent less than half of normal. One of the expensive container plants (lantana) was severely pot-bound and may not survive transplanting into a much larger container. Leaves are curled and numerous bloom heads appear dead. The red caladium has been limp since transplanting. Little if any floor help in the Garden Center and they had no plant knowledge. Only one register in the Garden Center was open and the resulting line was 10 shoppers long.

Lowes offers free delivery and installation of large appliances, which seemed very convenient! Unfortunately it seems that Lowes contracts that service out to another company that is extremely incompetent. Our delivery was delayed 3 times due to issues on their end, and we were without a fridge for almost 3 weeks. Communication on the issue was very difficult and my phone inquiries often resulted in customer service not knowing what was happening with my order and being unable to help me. When DSI Logistics finally delivered the fridge they were running late, so they told me they would not bring it inside, and they left it wrapped up in my garage for us to handle by ourselves. Very disappointing experience!!

Worst experience ever buying an appliance from the Columbia, MO. Location. First I had to wait a week for my new washer to be delivered. They sent the wrong one. Then they said it would be another week before they could bring the right one. When I finally get my washer it had better be the right one and a brand new one. Not the floor display one!

Bought a Blackstone griddle online and had no other option but to have it delivered. It was dumped off in my driveway, covered in scratches and missing parts and screws missing from the base that holds it up. Extremely unsatisfied, spoken to 2 managers, one of then said to bring it back and Id have to wait who knows how long for a shipment and the other wanted to take screws off of a display and call it good. Ridiculous customer service.

So I went in to buy a five gallon bucket of interior valspar signature paint I asked for at least one big stir stick for it and the manager Sam said that they are out but have some for 98cents for sale. Are you serious. I buy thousands of dollars in tools and material a no that Lowe’s to say I have to buy a stir stick because they are out is unacceptable. And Sam is the manager. I guess this review might hopefully change the customer service for the next person

Excellent customer service!I was researching a variety of products; lighting, flooring, wood surface finishes, and window treatments. As I moved throughout the store I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance by a minimum of 10 Lowes staff members. Theyalso took time to ask specific questions before making recommendations and/or explaining product use. The sharing of your expertise was greatly appreciated.It was wonderful to be treated in a positive and supportive manner.Thank you for being so attentive.Great job Lowes, you are the best!

RUDE to my farher a Veteran last year and woukd not accept his ID from the American Legion. OLD Veterans do not have an id . = current military .This week as I entered the store and said ,Hey it looks like you are having fun and got a hateful look. As I was leaving the store because no one around to help I encountered the same manager and said have a nice day. He didnt say a think.I said really you have noting to say .Gave him the finger as I was walking away leaving the store. Not nice of me yet this stores has issues. He followed me out of the store.NO SOCIAL DISTANCING as I was LEAVING THE STORE. I stopped and ask him to get out of my space and he would not.

Prepping Thanksgiving dinner for 18 when the 4 year old insinkerater kraps out! Puddles forming and water streaming out of the disposer(not supposed to do that) into the lower level...what a mess. DO NOT buy appliances from this Lowes location right now. Because of an inventory error I was sold a washing machine that they did not actually have in the store. Since then I have been given extremely different expectations based upon what store representative I am currently talking to, but 21 days later and I still do not have my washing machine and I am now being told it will take another 30. My individual situation here stinks but what is really infuriating to me is that I have had to reach out to Lowes for information at each and every step of the way. There has been no proactive communication to let me know what is going on. And there is no unified message. If I do not happen to be able to get the employee who sold me the products in the first place I get told, well you will have to wait until he gets back in. I have even had another employee talk to their supervisor and tell me the same thing. The employee, not the supervisor. At this point I have not been contacted by the appliances supervisor or the store manager and they seem content to let me become frustrated with the employees rather than ever providing an explanation of how this mishap happened in the first place.

While purchasing my first home there were several projects that we underwent to personalize it. One of these was new flooring. We replaced just shy of 1000 square feet of flooring with new wood. We ordered it in March when we had plenty of time and were not in a rush. It was finally laid near the end of July. Not only did it take 3 times longer for it to get laid, from what we were told. We were also told several times either something was ordered (that wasnt) or the person we needed to talk to was not there. For a month we waited on two transitional pieces which we were told by two separate girls had been order which had not. They were not ordered until we called and finally got a manager who ordered them that day. Now it is mid August and we are still waiting on two other transitional pieces (which we werent even told we would need these other two). They had closed out our account even though we had called multiple times and even went in person to check the status of getting them. I am not sure why we spent $5000 to be treated so unprofessionally and to be treated as if we didnt even matter as paying customers. I do not recommend getting your flooring done at this location.

We were so lucky to have Taryn meet us at the door and answered a question we had about making keys. She took us directly to Hardware, made our keys, picked up double bags of charcoal (big sale item!), put them in our cart, escorted us to lighting, put our lamp in the cart, escorted us to the checkout, waited for us and then loaded everything into our car!! On top of all that, Taryn knows the store inside and out, AND has a great personality. In todays world, customer service is almost non-existent. When you find GREAT customer service, you have to celebrate it! Thanks, Taryn. You rock!
